Great little se
Really impressed with this set, doesn’t sound tinny, and keys are a nice weight.
We ate challenged on the stand though, hubby “put it together” and unscrewed and removed the folding mechanism. He didn’t take note of how it went together and we are now stuck… if anyone knows how to put it back together, I would be very grateful for your advice!!
Easy to assemble. Not as sturdy as I hoped for ,with children around will definitely have to keep an eye on it.
First time playing so can’t compare it to other ones.
It’s fun to use ,with so many easy tutorials on YouTube really recommend it as an extra hobby.
You can’t change the hight of the chair,if too short or too tall you will definitely need a different one. Looks nice and very happy with the product.

I am reviewing this keyboard as an absolute beginner, and not as an expert on musical instruments. The instructions would be better if printed in a larger typeface. There is a large choice of soundalike instruments ( tones ) most of these a not great, but the grand piano, vibes and tubular bells are good.
I am pleased with this kit as a basis for teaching myself to play simple popular songs, without annoying the neighbours.

As an ex military musicion who studied piano at a music school I wanted a keyboard to revive my intrests in music. I can safely say that this ticked all the boxes. and in the wrods of Derek off `Bangers and Cash` this is a `lovely bit of kit`. I was impressed firstly by the fact that the keyboard fixes to the stand with screws and not just sits on the stand as many do. The `voices`sound authentic, the rhythms and percussion are diverse and the other accessories are too numerous to put into a short review. If you are interested in buying a good keyboard for a reasonble price as a complete package, ie. keyboard, stand and seat` then i would reccomend this without hesitation.

DISAPOINTED!
I ordered this ROCKJAM RJ640 61KEY 2022 type because it was the slightly upgraded type with USB and AUDIO inputs. Of cause, what turned up, but the previous model without these features, ( old stock ? ).
I tried to return it, and to Amazons credit they agreed no probs. But part of the returns procedure was to print out a returns label. GREAT, my printer was playing up, so I gave up and accepted it.
My viewpoint is, why cant they deliver the model I’d ordered and paid for?
PS. The keyboard is fine at this price point.

Perfect for beginners
Bought this for a friend at the start of lockdown as they were struggling with their mental health and being what felt like being trapped alone in their apartment.
He was always interested in starting to ply the piano however living in a rented apartment in the city, it’s very difficult to commit financially and also for space in investing in instruments.
I chose this product because it included everything, the keyboard, the stand for perfect optimal height, headphones etc – this worked great for the apartment because it can be nicely tucked away under the sofa when not in use and easily put up when using with the stand at perfect height, the headphones were great because as it’s a shared apartment, there was no interruption to the roommates.

Bought for a Christmas present for the hubster, he seems really happy with it, came with the stand and stool which is fairly stable…. added bonus having the earphones as I can ask him to plug them in when I’ve had enough of hearing him practice

A robust keyboard providing fun for all the family
The sound quality is really good. My 10-year -old grandson was playing parts of Christmas tunes by the end of the day. The whole package which includes the stand, piano bench, headphones and instructions are, in my opinion, a great deal.

Good value keyboard for beginners
We found it very suitable for adult and children learning piano. Very good to have the MIDI output for laptop – lucky I had a spare USB B to USB A cable to fit my laptop as this is understandably not included. Aux input useful. Grandson really likes headphones for silent practice but they proved too small for adults.
Decent for beginners.
For a beginner who wants to learn how to play, you can’t go wrong with this digital keyboard piano for the price of it. I would give this a 5 star rating, but it isn’t weighted and my middle C feels slightly loose compared to the other keys. But being a beginner, that’s something I’m not going to complain about for this price.
The sound quality from the speakers is okay. Not grainy and loud enough to not have any trouble hearing it. The headphones it comes with are fine, but if you have better at home I’d probably recommend using them instead. They don’t cover my ears entirely, but I’m able to hear from them and they don’t feel like they’ll fall off. They use a 3.5mm jack, so most of your standard headphones or earphones will work if you wanna replace them.
The sustain pedal works well, no real complaints. Not really used it though because I’m still learning how to play and it hasn’t came up yet. I don’t really have anything to compare it to, sadly.
The stool it comes with is comfortable, but maybe not for extended sessions. I’d probably cushion it up for extended sessions. The keyboard stand is adjustable, so you don’t have to worry TOO much about posture. Just try what works for you. The stool isn’t adjustable, but it should work fine for most people. It’s easy to tuck underneath the keyboard when you’re done playing, which is great for space.
The power cable it comes with might be a little on the short side (2m) if you can’t keep it close to a plug socket, but it’s usually a standard cable. I don’t know the name of it, but it’s a common sized one. Do as you will with this info, but if you’re going to replace the cable make sure it’s the correct voltage and watts. It’s fine to go over a little if you’re getting a longer cable as power degrades through distance.
Overall thoughts: very great keyboard for a beginner, the stuff it comes with is handy. It does partially feel like a toy, though. However, it isn’t bad and anyone at any age can enjoy this. If you’re just wanting to learn how to play as a pass-time or a hobby, this might not be a bad start. You will have to upgrade to an 88 keyed keyboard eventually, though. If you’re wanting to take this a little more seriously, this might not be for you; I’d definitely start at an 88 keyed board with weighted keys.
Ideal for a beginne
This was easily put together in minutes. Ideal for a beginner like myself. Good sound quality. Sounds can be changed to different instruments but I am only using the grand piano sound at the moment. Great price for a great wee electric keyboard.

Feels cheap
The keys feel cheap and make a lot of noise when bashed by my grandson. Arrived on time and cheap considering it comes with a stand and a seat if you choose that option. Also headphones supplied but keys feel a bit tacky.

I read the reviews before purchasing as it is a lot of money to spend and get it wrong. My (adult) daughter has been going on about a keyboard recently and I caved to get her this as her Christmas present. I am delighted. Looks great, sounds great and the features seem unending. I know she will be thrilled with it. Some reviews say it is cheap and to be fair, if you are a professional musician, it is. For a sometime, wannabe rock star however, it is a fab piece of kit.

Really good keyboard. MIDI interface is great for Simply Piano app.
Prefer this to the previous RJ661SK keyboard, as this one has a MIDI interface on it.
Using an Apark Midi Cable – USB Type C Connector to Type B Midi Interface (like a USB printer), to the port on the keyboard. Using the Simply Piano app on Fire Tablet HD 8 it worked no problems. Please note that you specifically need to use a MIDI cable and not the cable that came with your tablet /phone as I believe they are wired differently.

Wonderful, except for wobbly stand.
A great product for a beginner, except for the stand, which is rather wobbly – at least on our carpet. The sound quality is, as they advise, best if used with headphones – and linked to my iPad via the Midi link at back for lessons on Simply Piano (extra cable needed). Best thing about using headphones is that no one can hear how dreadfully I play!
