It's the wife's new pet.
I unpacked it and for the wife it was love at first sight. I haven’t got to touch it, let alone use it, hopefully the novelty won’t wear of as i quite like being waited on. Money we’ll spent.
Good looking piece of kitchen equipment.
I am enjoying using it, which I do very frequently. Russell Hobbs is a well known brand and has been the brand of many of my appliances over the years. I still have an electric coffee percolator a wedding present from the 70s and it still works.

Preset temperature for differnt kinds of food, rice, beef, fish etc. Guite easy to operate. In stainless steel, look cool.
20L for small amount of food, effective cooking.
For roasting a small chicken eg 2.8lb could be far too small for it, but it is quite a common dish
I normally buy a cheap MW, this time i took a chance on a superior product, and i was super impressed. This wasn’t a product i knew i needed, until i got it. A different world, i can never go back to a cheap MW.
Few things to say...
OK, it looks good, easy to clean.
Love the grill on it, cheese and onion on toast – 3 mins – so saves my oven grill electric and time of course.
The full power is supposed to be 800, where my prev one was 750 and this feels like it takes longer to reheat my tea/brew. Not by a lot, but ???. Also other reviews have said once it has finished you can’t just hit power again for another 30 secs, you have to open door and then hit it as many times as you wish to increase time.
That said – it hasnt been a rob to me, you just get used to it, but thought I’d let you know.
Overall it looks good and feels very heavy / sturdy.
Would I buy again ? Yes I would.

The product description would have benefitted by having the minimum clearances stated. it is not possible to have the product on a worksurface under a wall cupboard as 30cm clearance is required above the oven. The power cable is too short and user guide states ‘ do not use extension cables or mains socket adapters’.

Perfect microwave as an addition to your cooker. Defrosts and heats perfectly, looks lovely and very easy to use.
Good handbook
Not as noisy or difficult to use as some reviewers say. The handbookk is invaluable for settling times but you do need to queek timings for your own preferences For example toasted cheese sandwiches can be made by 2 mins first side 1,5 the others side to toast the bread and finally 30 sec or so in normal microwave to melt the cheese etc. Different bread slight different timings Experiement at use your own timings based on advice rather than following slavishly Good solid feel to it as well as looking good

A little complicated to use at the start but once you understand that you can also just turn the dile instead of cancelling the last function its great. Its super fast, looks brilliant and its easy to clean. Wonderful microwave I would recommend

Perfect microwave… It’s just the right size, looks good and cooks great. It’s so easy to use too. Pop something in and press the knob a few times until the display says 3.30 (for example) or alternatively turn the knob to the required time and press it in. Want perfect cheese on toast? Toast the bread in a toaster as usual, sprinkle with cheese, then put it on the metal rack and into the microwave, press the grill button and twist the knob to 2.30 and push it in. Perfect! Hope it lasts as I’m very impressed.

Having not digested the instructions there seems to be more than is explained on the dial. Have used it for basic warming of pre cooked meals. Was expecting the internal parts to be stainless steel. My old painted model went rusty.

Good value for a combination grill/microwave
I like the styling of this microwave and the range of cooking options that are available however the one thing that I don’t like is the cooling fan that kicks in after 2 minutes or more microwaving because even after the cooking has finished, the fan continues on for another 2 minutes or so

Took a bit of getting used to(haven’t tried the grill or combo yet) as it’s a lower power and about 1/4 size than my previous 900W but works as well as expected but very noisy. Trivial details are irritating.
This unit has good looks and is easy to keep clean both inside and out. But there are irritating bits as well. The bulb does not have a strong light so it is very dark inside when the door is open making it difficult to accurately place dishes on the turntable and retrieve finished items. The instruction book takes many pages telling you how to use and not to use the machine and all the very many inherent dangers with its use. But in all the. thirty odd pages it does not mention once what all the symbols mean on the display panel. It tells you that on each completed action it will beep twice. – Wrong it always beeps three times. It is rated at 800 watts and almost everything takes longer than in our old 800 watt Goodman’s microwave. However the controls are easy to use and these are explained quite well in the booklet.
Just fine! don't expect great grill
I wouldn’t have bothered getting anything with a grill, and knew not to expect much from one on a model this size, but I bought this in slight desperation after the little one I’d inherited started shedding enamel, then a replacement similarly sized sharp model lasted less than 20 minutes, and really needed something to reheat frozen meals, and a convenient height grill for simple muffins and crumpets while unable to use all limbs easily.
There’s a lot to like about this. Firstly, the instruction manual, while only needed to understand the limited combination options, is reasonable quality and fully readable without reading glasses. It’s very easy to use, although, I still occasionally cancel what i want to do rather than just hitting the dial to start. Just sometimes I end up going up or down some seconds hitting the dial to start, but that’s minor thing.
The cheap plastic chrome effect buttons are not all that bad. They work much better than a touch panel. Not sure about complaints about turning dial for longer time-lengths… seems to do it pretty well for me with little effort. Chrome plastic door handle is just passable too, but again, works fine to open and close door.
I didn’t expect much from the grill option in a unit this size, and if I had space for a toaster as well, then I doubt I’d ever use it, but it does work to toast a muffin or crumpet, albeit not particularly fast doing one side a time.
I do wonder if the ring that goes under the turntable was actually for something even smaller… you definitely need to make sure it’s in the right place as have had it move out of place then turnable fall off and not turn, but mostly it’s OK.
There’s just a few slight usability issues, but then, some are perhaps for good reason, and make you check you didn’t just start it with nothing in, etc., so none that I’m particularly worried about.
As a microwave, there is really nothing to complain about. It looks OK. Easy to use. Grill is as good as you’d expect of something in a unit this size. It’s pretty much identical size to the one that was shedding it’s insides that didn’t have a grill, so fits the same gap in the kitchen, looks a little better, plus, has a clock! I’m pretty happy.

I purchased this machine to replace my Cook Works microwave which broke down. I found this machine to be powerful and the grill is very good. It also has a defrost button which I also wanted. It has a number of presets which are very handy. It is a compact machine and it works very well.

Weighed up all the options and plumped for this one We are not disappointed its fantastic took a bit of getting used to controls but the features of the product and what it can do makes it much more than just a microwave looks good too.

A nicely designed product.
The product is nicely designed and reasonably easy to use. However the specification states that the product is made of stainless steel which is factually incorrect and misleading. The only parts of the product that comprise of stainless steel are the glass surround and the control panel.
Simple, and efficient.
Turn a button. Press the button. It really is that simple. Yes, the grill, and all the other settings are there, that work well if you are that dependant upon the full features. The only annoyances are that the beeper – which really isn’t annoyingly intrusive – cannot be cancelled, and the auto child-lock, which is counter intuitive. A child could easily use it… It’ll fit in a Chicken, or just some beans. Worth the money.
Poor Operating Instructions
Very inadequate and poor written operating instructions. Caused initial frustration. Missing symbols in text explaining the digital screen and sequencing of various functions. Not user friendly. Made contact with Manufacturers who only responded in part.Still awaiting a full response. Amazons Delivery timetable and packaging was very good as usual. Product quality and reliability can only be assessed over time.
