Bought this in a rush when our fridge failed and engineer couldn’t attend for two weeks!! Worked well. The only downside was the icebox. Didn’t need that as we had a freezer but the icebox took up room we could have utilised better.

I was sceptical table top fridge..yeah.
It was an eye opener, efficient, cold , quite. When this little beauty claps out..I am getting another one.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks well not a great deal of space internally but ideal for prescription drugs.
The temperature control needs turning quite low to get the temperature low enough but once set perfect.
Finish excellent and ideal size for work tops. Ideal for drinks and snacks but limited as the door inner sections encroaches on fridge space.
    Would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like to have a few bottles/cans of beer chilled at the ready for my weekly Friday night session or the odd sunny day in Scotland which can be quite unpredictable. Had researched quite a few fridges online. There are such a variety of sizes, styles and prices it took a while for me to go for this fridge. I wasn’t bothered about the look as it was going to sit in a spare room anyway and I do like the Russell Hobbs brand for other small electrical appliances e.g. irons, steam mops etc. Had the fridge for around 10 months now and really pleased with my purchase. I like my beer very cold and this fridge does the business. Setting goes to 5 but 3 is good enough for me. Doesn’t take long to chill – can put the bottles/cans in before work and they will be ready for me on my return, but even better if you have them chilled for a day or two. The size and capacity was a big plus for me. I tend to buy 330ml cans/bottles and it holds loads, however, it easily takes larger bottles and cans if you move the shelf to the top of the fridge and build them up horizontally from the bottom. The only issue I have had is that I’m not sure whether the door hinge is tightened properly. The door closes/seals the fridge fine but I sometimes have to lift it a little to stop the inner part of the door hitting the wall inside the fridge, particularly if I have anything stored on the fridge door. It clicks on and off, usually after the door has been opened, but is otherwise quiet. Haven’t used the wee freezer compartment but it needs defrosted around every 6 months with infrequent use. In summary, I love this wee fridge. Great capacity, been reliable so far and serves my purpose well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great little fridge that can hold your food essentials with ease. Brought this as a temporary solution while waiting for our new fridge to arrive (the old one broke down). The setup is straightforward, and it uses surprisingly little electricity despite its not-so-great energy rating, just remember to wait three hours after delivery before plugging it in (explained in the manual). In a quiet room, it can seem a bit loud, but if it’s in your kitchen or den etc. I wouldn’t worry. For the size, it’s quite powerful, even on its mid-setting you won’t worry on a hot day. Also liked that you can switch the door hinges to suit where you’re placing the fridge.

Currently being used by my dad as his beer fridge in his workshop 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got this fridge to replace a slowly-failing mini-fridge I got for almost the exact same price a year before. That one was also Russel Hobbs branded, but was more like a box with a fgan in it. It was loud, not mega cold, and only became less and less effective over time.

They processed my refund when it stopped working and I used that money to buy this. It’s quite a fair bit bigger, so be mindful of that, but the main thing is: it is actually a fridge. With an ice box, too. It’s been an absolute godsend, it keeps things very very cool and fits quite a lot of stuff in it. It doesn’t seem meaningfully less effective when quite full, either.

I got it on sale for around 90, but if you’re looking at this at full price I’d recommend it fully.

I wanted a table top fridge to replace my busted one. This is excellent. Quiet (yes, you shoulda heard the last one!) and the freezery bit is great for me ice cubes. I can get all the booze in and food, too lol! Plus, it’s Russell Hobbs and their stuff is very reliable. It gets beers very cool even on a very low setting which makes it cheaper to run for me.

Bought this for my Dad as a birthday present and it works great! We use it to keep our drinks cool in the garage and it guarantees a cold beer if that’s as important to you as it is to us!

At first, it was making a very annoying humming noise, but after moving it so it has more space for ventilation, it has been quiet enough to keep in my bedroom and the only time it really makes noise is if I change the temperature. It has enough space for my needs and has been good value for money so fa

    It’s a great little fridge.
My son wanted it for his room as in the attic & gets hot so mainly wanted it fir just drinks – but will take it with him when he goes to uni.
Has also used the freeze section (very small) to keep ice lolly’s! Really pleased with it!!

Needed a fridge, bigger than a “table top” fridge but not as tall as a normal fridge. This was perfect, just the right size and holds a surprisingly large amount.
Very quiet and holds temperature very well.
Came with a slight dint in the rear panel but it is not visible and has no impact on the functionality so didn’t bother remarking on it. Delivery was spot on to the time stated and quick.
All in all can’t fault the product or the company.

I bought this fridge because I wanted to try and cut down on energy costs, didn’t see the point in having a large fridge with a few items.

I like it so far, milk is ice cold even though its on lowest setting,
I’m a single parent with two teenage boys,so it’s a sufficent size for my needs to hold basic items. can hold 2×4 pints milk cartons, 1kg cheese in door, bottle wine, chicken and ham slices etc, I usually decant my meals into containers so I’d say could hold 4 circular containers at the bottom or 6 of the plastic rectangular ones I reckon.

It’s very quiet, a lot quieter than my bigger fridge.
At the moment I have switched off the larger fridge, I leave the door open at night. I only intend to use it if I do a really big shop if I’m entertaining eg Christmas, so will need more fridge space.

I only have ice cubes in the freezer part at the moment, not tried anything else will update when I do.

I place a drip tray below the freezer part, not as much water as others have complained about, but you will get icicle partials below the ice box which I suggest you just wipe off weekly.

I assume the longer the door I open it may create more vapour?! Who know, I’m not a fridge expert, but I’m sure my bill will have been reduced as a result of using a smaller, energy efficient fridge, makes sense.
NB: energy efficiency labels have changed, I didn’t realise this until I queried the ratings so I suggest you Google for more information.

Overall I’m pleased with my purchase so far.

Seems to be a really good fridge. Looks good, easy to reverse the door and it runs silent as far as i can tell (fridges are always noisy the first time you use them until they reach temp) Fits cans of drink and full size milk cartons in the door. Plenty of space on the shelf for lunch and snacks. Icebox a bonus for summer months!

It is exactly as i expected, however it does have some cosmetic damage – the top corners are dented and theres a dent in the side, but as i am using under a counter with other objects next to it, i will accept it. Might not be idea if you have it on a worktop on display.

Warning: this is a short term review based on only a few weeks of use.

I bought this because I rent, and the installed fitted kitchen fridge consumes energy like a blast furnace, and is less insulated than a naked cross Atlantic swimmer. So I decided to get a small fridge for under 100 instead of haemorrhaging money and causing an argument with the landlord (who would no doubt just replace the old fridge with another energy inefficient fridge, then put the rent up)

I am VERY happy. It is very cold, very efficient and well insulated. Ive used a laser thermometre on the outside “white” part on all sides and barely find a +/- 1c difference. It uses very little electricity and its very quite. I literally put this in my bedroom and when the TV is on I barely even hear it when it fires up.

My only slight reservation is the thermostat, not that it causes me particular problems. Even on the lowest setting its still VERY cold. Maybe because its new, and its in a cold room which is optimal, but I already have it turned to the lowest setting, and tbh I would happily have it slightly warmer if it meant using less electricity, but it wont go down further.

I have seen some complaints that water “pools” in the fridge. True but not the whole picture. Basically the cooler box IS the internal cooling element, and its metal. The fridge is very insulated, so when it turns on to cool, the metal element gets suddenly VERY cold and any moisture vapour condenses and freezes on it. If your room is humid this will be a problem, if not, it wont. Personally this happens to me only when I am drying laundry in my bedroom. Humidity = condensation.
The simple fix is to keep an eye on it, and if you see drops of frozen water on the underside of the chiller tray, turn the fridge off for ten minutes, then just as it starts to thaw, wipe the underside with a cloth and all the ice drops separate immediately onto the cloth. Job done. Like I said though, its only ever happened to me when Im drying lots of laundry in a coldish room.

I would also note that when I used a power metre plug, my old fridge was costing more to run, than the value of the food I was preserving. This fridge is so efficient Ive turned it down to level 1, and stopped monitoring it.

    Pros
    Cheap to buy
    Very quiet
    VERY energy efficient.
    Surprisingly spacious considering its size
    Very very cold
You can pack it to the gills and it will keep things cool

    Cons
If there is damp or humidity, it will condense and freeze on the cooling element.

I got this fridge to save money, its paid for itself. Energy efficiency is advancing very quickly these days and this thing is cheap, effective and efficient.

A really great little fridge. I only use the it for holding bits and bobs for making sandwiches for work and for that purpose it is excellent. I would take the advice of other reviewers when using it for the first few days and keep an eye on the temperature as it gets really cold at the setting as recommended in the manual. Also, if you place items under the ice box, make sure that they are not tall enough to come close to the unit as this area of the fridge is probably the coldest and I have had food freeze up. Just store some flat packets of food here.

Other reviewers have said that fridge can be too noisy but I haven’t found it so (although obviously it does make a noise when the pump is operating) and my kitchen is open planned at the back of my lounge.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a small fridge.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTerrible quality . After only 4 months of use its totally stopped working after smelling a rancid burning odour inside.. Most of reviews how bad this fridge is is totally true.. Please do not believe one of the Female reviewers on here with the name S****.. I think she works for ur Russell Hobbs!! It’s true the freezer cannot freeze your ice cream or other things you want freezing. And freezer builds up of so much ice but cannot freeze your items..
What a waste of money, not even worth a freebie!!
Its now being sent back to Amazon for a full refund..
Very very disappointed, especially when it’s a branded produc

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWanted a smaller fridge for storing some things that need to be kept refrigerated for a day or so that is used for work purposes. I did read reports of noisy motors in these units but I think that this may apply to the smaller units (43 litre capacity?) units. I have not found this unit to have a noisier motor than is standard and in fact is very quiet in use. In hindsight and this is my fault, I should have got a slightly bigger unit of about 100? Litres as space in these is limited by where part of the internal motor is. That is purely to meet my own particular needs. Would be good as a counter top fridge for extra capacity to top up that of your normal fridge.

As far as price goes this is definitely great value for money. It’s relatively spacious and has a mini fridge. I would say it is harder to fit larger bottles such 1.5/2 litre bottles, mainly because of the length, I’d you have them in the door you can only fit one and if you have them not top they will most likely freeze, however you can fit a lot of other stuff in there, I practically fit a whole weekly shop sans any longer items.

As for temperature control, the fridge and the freezer share the same settings so you can’t change either one, the freezer is very strong and any products near or under the freezer will freeze, I tried to put the temp lower to avoid that, however that then the temp for the entire fridge down and something I had in there went off.

Despite all this I would highly recommend, as it’s not for general use, it definitely meets its purpose. I am able to store cans, bottles and juices in my room like I need and in the summer the freezer was full. It can fit one Ben and Jerry’s tube and 12 single lollies.

Unfortunately I had to send this fridge back as it had been dropped by the delivery people. I did however get to try it out before it went back. For such a small fridge it really does pack a fair bit of shopping and it’s not noisy at all. I bought it for my Son as he is off to Uni this year. What I really liked was the small freezer in the top right corner. Big enough to fit fish fingers burgers etc and to fill the little ice cube tray that comes with it. It’s lightweight enough to carry but doesn’t come with any kind of handle like the last mini fridge I had. I will definitely be buying the same one to replace this dropped one.

It holds allot, I live alone and it holds everything I need it too. Including 8pts of milk, vegetables and meats and even a 6pk of cola cans. The shelves are small but it’s like a mini tardis. You can change the brackets on the door to have it open either side.
Great value for the money and very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this for my bedroom in order to store drinks and snacks. Item arrived on time, left sitting for 3 hours as instructed to by a large sticker on the fridge. VERY quite, a lot of reviews on here state the fridge is very very noisy however I’ve not found this the case, I keep it on setting 4 which keeps my cans ice cold to touch. The compressor cuts in every 5-10 minutes for around a minute or two then kicks back off. This is from owning for a few days so I will update if and when issues arise!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe bought this primarily to store diabetic insulin, to free up space in our main fridge freezer but it also comfortably holds about 10 cans of drink which is a handy overflow space for us. To keep the fridge at around 3 degrees, we have the dial on 4.5. We also ordered a digital fridge thermometer from Amazon, just to keep an eye on a consistent temperature, due to the importance of keeping the medicines at the right temperature. Some have said in other reviews that the fridge is noisy but it isn’t at all. We keep it under the stairs in the hallway and we hardly notice any noise at all. Overall, a great fridge and I’d highly recommend it.

I was just about to write my fridge is in the same room as me and is silent but it has decided to kick in with a low volume hum. When I was reading these reviews and was wondering whether to purchase the fridge I was worried about the noise level (mine is now silent again) but went ahead with the purchase because this fridge seemed the best option for the price. Now I have it I have to say it is a life saver and I am so pleased I decided to get it. The fridge fits in a bag and a half to two bags of food shopping plus the door has space for 2 pint bottles of milk – maybe even large ones. The fridge keeps all the food and drinks nicely chilled. When the fridge arrived I rested it to let the coolant settle as adviced on the enclosed leaflet and in the other reviews. Very happy with this fridge but those you with a larger budget should research the humming sound first, is it a thing with fridges in this price point or just a general fridge thing?

I had to buy this as a quick replacement for our main fridge which went faulty before Christmas, and after having it for a few months it’s been a fantastic addition. It’s not too loud, and can store a surprising amount. I was a little sceptical of the freezer section, and wasn’t too worried if it didn’t work due to having a working chest freezer, but this works perfectly fine and can again hold a little more than I expected it to. Considering our main fridge is acting up again, this is also getting way more use and has been a great purchase so far.

Easily fit 10 bottles into the unit with milk for a brew in the morning.

Quite running even with the compressor running. If your a light sleeper you may have an issue .

One problem I found , changing the hinge for the door, not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of messing around to get it to seal again.

The is a small freezer box inside about the size of a small lunch box .

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis little fridge & freezer that I love it so much. I using it in my bedroom, it do mike some noise( I feeling not that loud) sometimes, but I could sleep with the little noise as it is normal, every fridge have that noise as it need to cool up, and it is not the all time have the noise, most of time it’s quiet.
I recommend it to everyone who looking to buy a little fridge & freezer, this is a very nice item.
And if you very care about the noise or if you are the one who can not sleep with any little noise then do not put it in your bedroom.

    Works perfectly

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe Russell Hobbs RHTTF67B is compact, but has “Tardis-like” internal dimensions of 66l . There are two adjustable main shelves and two door mounted shelves. Unlike some smaller wine coolers which use the thermoelectric Peltier effect, this one has a compressor. That means that you can get things really cool! The Ice box area is great for ice cubes and is big enough to freeze single portion microwave meals for a slightly longer shelf life. Design great. Build quality excellent. Superb value for money. What more could you ask for?
This small fridge has exceeded my expectations and I am happy to recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis mini fridge is mostly what I expected. Its a nice size and holds a lot of items. It is very well built and looks very sleek. I would say it fits in nicely with other appliances.

It can be lound when set to regulate at lower temps as the fan/fluid needs to be circulated more often. I would not recommend putting it near one’s bed as that can become annoying.

Other than the one noise issue (which you’d expect at this price range) I’d say this product is a 4 star product. Very good.

A very nice mini fridge but beware it can be loud.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersGlad I didn’t read the reviews before buying this fridge, or I wouldn’t have bought it, and so far it’s been ideal for me!
I know that fridges are delicate things, so after unpacking it and putting it in position, I left it for 3 DAYS before switching it on (not 3 hours – I’d always leave anything containing coolant for at least 24 hours).
I set the temperature at ‘3’ initially, so it didn’t have to work too hard, and left it for 5 DAYS empty of food, to sort itself out and stabilize the temperature etc. I have a fridge thermometer in there and it was down to 1 degree after 24 hours so I turned the dial down to ‘2’ and now it’s around 4 degrees.
Additionally should mention I put it on a solid floor, not carpet, and not a piece of furniture. It’s on vinyl/concrete, even though it’s not as easy to access. I live in a bedsit so the kitchen area is in my bedroom, and I’m a very light sleeper sensitive to noise, so I didn’t want to risk putting it on a worktop. If I didn’t have vinyl/concrete floors I’d put it on an uncarpeted area, on a slab of MDF, on an anti-vibration mat, and hope for the best. I’ve had noisy fridges in the past and if the floor isn’t solid the fridge components act like a Newton’s Cradle after that first burst of power wakes up the compressor again – maddening.
I would also recommend putting nothing on top of the fridge – I tried a lightweight tray and it made the fridge noisier, so keep it clear.
So after 5 days I put some chilled and frozen food in there – ie already cold stuff. Then I read the reviews on amazon, as I was curious about how long stuff lasts in the ice-box thing! Oh horror – I was expecting a puddle of smelly defrosted pea water the next day!
But no – thank goodness, 24 hours later my peas are still perfectly frozen in there and the fridge is quiet, even when it’s cycling, and just perfect really. I know it’s early days and it will get noisier and less efficient as it ices up, and will need defrosting every 3 months most likely.
ETA – Having left the fridge almost empty for a week or more, I did find the freezer iced up and the peas defrosted, also found the fridge was coming on every 2 mins for about 20 seconds a time. So it seems you need to keep this fridge full for it to be any good.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe bought this fridge two years ago for use in our campervan. For the money we figured it was worth a go rather than spend the 500+ for a dedicated 12v van fridge.

We’ve used this on our outings in silly hot weather and it’s been powered on whilst driving, both totally against what the manual states it should be used for. It’s been rock solid the whole time. Even in 40 C weather in its cupboard enclosure it’s kept our milk and bacon cold. Admittedly if you turn it up too high it overheats and cuts out, but that’s because it’s enclosed with no air flow in a hot van and we’ve accepted that. The condenser runs around the outside walls of the fridge for compactness so it’s not as efficient as one with an external radiator.

Yes, the ‘freezer’ compartment doesn’t keep things frozen, but it’s not really designed for that – it’s just a convenient bit of extra cold storage around the evaporator. It does make a noise when it cycles but even sleeping with it at our feet it’s not intrusive, just a tick, a hum when it’s going and a gentle gurgle when it goes off. Quite soothing really.

Even though it only uses 80w when it’s going the startup current surge requires us to use a 1000w inverter to get it going, keep this in mind if you plan to use one in your van.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersI bought this fridge to put in the living room whilst having a new kitchen fitted. It’s brillant! You can get loads in (see picture). Works really well (you can adjust the temperature control, at first we had this too high and the milk started to freeze!) Ater the kitchen is finished I will put it in the garage to keep drinks chilled!

    Great!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI was excited for the 66L fridge because my housemate kept stealing food from the main fridge and not cling filming his food and leaving it to rot.
Unfortunately, the fridge came with a dented corner and the door had difficulty shutting. Amazon and the seller were swift to deal with my problem and sent for a replacement which took a further two days to arrive.
The new fridge still had some dents but were barely noticeable, and it worked much quieter than the previous 45L i used. I can sleep with it in my room without noticing the noise and the fridge is nice and cold. When it starts up, you can hear it for about a minute before it stops again for about 10 mins. The only thing I feel cheated about is the pricing, as it fluctuates from 105 to 95 so try to grab it when it is 95. I got mine for 105

Cheap and cheerful mini fridge for a bedroom!

Golden Review Award: 78 From Our UsersReally happy with the fridge. Although tempted to switch it on straight away, I gave it half a day to settle, after reading the reviews and following instructions. No noise and works well. I have it on setting 2 and that keeps all food cold, started at 5 which I found too cold as I don’t keep much in it.
    Would recommend.

    Good little machine.

Golden Review Award: 96 From Our Usersgreat little fridge .I wanted a small fridge for drinks that gets really cold . This fridge is ideal ,it keeps my drinks ice cold which is great when its hot out .LOVE IT . It’s not a huge fridge ,you cant put a two litre bottle in it ,it’s not deep or tall enough BUT its great for cans or small bottles of water and you can fit a 4 pint carton of milk in door. The freezer box is fine for ice but i wouldn’t put something like ice cream in it as its only small and just has a flap on it . I bought it as a compact fridge to keep drinks in it and does get really cold so its perfect for that .However if you need a compact fridge for general use its fine for food too and will keep stuff nice and fresh( but be aware its like a medium size tabletop fridge 70 lt as appose to the normal slightly bigger 90 ltr size which would be ok for 2lt bottles just to give some idea of size)

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersBought for my son’s bedroom and very happy with it: fast delivery, black exterior looks good, not very noisy, holds lots of snacks (cocktail sausages, cold meats, easy spread butter, fruit, box of salad, yoghurts etc) and plenty space for drinks.

Just be careful opening the door or the drinks in the door section can fall out. The ice compartment is ok for ice cubes but as it’s only got freezing panels on 2 out of 6 sides so it won’t keep icecream/lollies frozen… but overall it’s still a good fridge.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI bought this fridge as an under-desk fridge for my gaming computer desk. It’s been so awesome. I’d recommend anyone have this fridge, it’s absolutely excellent. There si very little noise, despite what you read in some of the other reviews. You can barely ever hear whether the fridge is on or off. The loudest part is the clack of the relay as it turns on or off, and even that’s so quiet it doesn’t disturb me.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI’ve had the fridge for 4 weeks now so feel I can give a honest, true review.

By the reviews it seems others have had more success with noise than me but also other having more problems than me so I wont complain too much!

The fridge itself is great for what it’s used for (cooling/freezing things) and I’ve been able to fit six 500ml water bottles, two Rubicon 2ltr bottles and a few cartons of soya milk in there all at once which I thought was awesome. I’ve also done some testing going from six to two on the thermostat and 6 will make your drink extremely cold, cold enough that when I pulled a bottle of water out and give it a quick shake the water turned into a water slush puppie. I then every few days knocked it one down on the thermostat and to be honest two or three will keep your drink perfectly cold enough and I’ve just gone between those two settings for the past week or so to see if it really needs to be on three or if I can get away with two or even one.

Now, the thing everyone seems to either not have a problem with at all or the thing that people are having a nightmare with and it’s a deal breaker , NOISE. I’ll be honest, it’s near silent, until it kicks in every 10-15 minutes for a minute or two and gives off a vibrating noise, which, as time has gone on started to annoy me more and more. I’m a bit of a audio freak so having a random buzzing sound pop up every so often does get annoying but I guess it’s just one of the things I’ll have to put up with (if anyone knows how to sort this, please, help me!). That being said it’s right next to my bed and I really don’t have a problem getting to sleep nor have I been woken from the buzzing.

If you’re going to put it in a room where there’s lot of noise or a room you won’t be in or maybe you don’t care for noise at all then this is a incredible mini (it does hold a fair bit) fridge but if you feel the noise may annoy you and you do get triggered by the slightest of sounds this might turn into a small nightmare.
