Can’t find any reason to critique these products. Buy with confidence for home use and beyond

Awesome bit of kit. Bought as I was boarding out ,and toppiing up th insulation of my lift. Something like 400 screws to drive. First 4 with a drill where ridiculously hard( I guess that means the wood is not rotten).

Always resisted buying an impact driver as I am a DIYer not a tradesmen. I was wrong to resist. Drove the screws in like a hot knife through butter. I would not use it for every screwing situation but for tough screws this is now my goto.

Have been undertaking a major project in the house and decided that an impact driver would finally be worth purchasing. I am so glad that I did. I’ve always used my cordless drill with a screwdriver bit and the difference is remarkable. It made such light work of the many many screws I had to put in. The battery life is great too. As always, the ryobi products are reliable and do what you expect. Would happily recommend.

Built my 5m x 3.5m wooden gazebo using this.
Made the job a hell of a lot easier than using a spanner or socket set.

This is certainly a very powerful tool. It is perfect for screwing jobs. Takes the effort out of long jobs. I already bought a battery to use with a strimmer.

Makes my life a lot easier. With this impact drive I do not have to struggle with a drill/screw driver. The screw went in like a hot knife to butter !!!

Great tool for prolonged decking fitting, or fencing if using screws. Fast action.

Powerful, easy to use and the light is a definite plus. Just be careful when demounting the bit… I wasn’t expected for the “leap” when the magnet is moved away from the bit and had to rely on quick reflexes to catch it mid air.

Fine for now, use it for tightening the odd nuts and bolls up, use it up to 12mm, I would have prefeed a 3/8 drive

I have several Ryobi tools and have found them all to be great, but I never had an impact driver as I thought my electric drills were good enough for use driving in screws. After talking with my son who had just completed a large decking project using a Ryobi Impact driver I bought this one. Wow, what a difference I have used it a few time now to repair some boarding in the garden and it is a joy to use. Powers in a screw like lightning without the need for predrilling as long as you use the right screws and the wood is suitable.

Great driver. Used it for some large screws in hardwood and it worked a treat.

Already have several Ryobi tools and battery which made choosing this item cost effective.
Have used it numerous times with appropriate bits and found it works extremely well and makes light work of screw fixing.
Cuts the time to do jobs down tremendously with little effort. A real handy tool which I can certainly recommend.

I don’t know how I ever managed without this! So much better than using a drill driver. Will drive anything into anything.

I have quite a few Ryobi tools, so this impact driver was a good addition. Only used it on small jobs so far. All OK.

Great tool and surprisingly I would highly recommend it. Advertised as DIY tool but I have used it daily on farm for construction and destruction and have given it some tough challenges. Will happily bury 100mm 12g screws in CLS. Has been used today fixing roofing sheets all day fixing 6.3mm x 70 roof screws through box profile. Will happily compete with the likes of Makita and Dewalt. The different power functions are a bit of a gimmick. You only need the most powerful setting. Would happily buy agai

The driver itself it outstanding, very powerful on the highest setting, tend to use on the lowest as was plenty for most of what I used it for, the brushless motor was smooth but a little bit noiser than I would have expected when it hit the impac

Ryobi One+ Impact Driver Boom💥 and the screw is gone

Used constantly for nearly 4 years and still going. Dropped multiple times from waist height onto concrete, still fine.

Ryobi One+ system – i already owned 2 drills hence sticking with it to share batteries. Stick with one system. Ryobi is middle of the road.

Hoped it would be smaller and lighter than it is – I was using a smaller non hammer one+ drill for driving for years and wanted something a bit smaller and lighter. This is a touch shorter in length but same height or higher and just as heavy but it is very well build.

However I have been converted by the positive driving connection an impact tool offers and its quick change for bits still makes it much better than a drill plus for larger screws/bolts/nuts it greater effective torque is also a benefit and makes light work of most driving tasks.

Careful use initially as no torque limiting other than the human using it – but since I got used to it in first few months I haven’t split any materials by overdriving.

4 years on I still haven’t got round to getting a ‘small/light’ driver as this is just so good and small enough for most spaces.

I have never had a battery powered impact driver before, but I now wish I had got one years ago! Far superior than a battery drill for driving screws into wood, although it is a lot noisier. When the screw hits resistance rather than hitting the torque clutch on a battery drill, which is what I am used to, the impact driver starts to do it’s thing an continues to drive the screw. Owing to this there is much less change of the bit slipping and chewing up the screw head. If you don’t have on I can recommend getting an impact driver!
And I would also recommend getting Ryobi. This is my third tool fom the brand and I have not been disappointed this time either. Great build quality and an ability to switch batteries around between tools means you need fewer batteries overall (I currently have 2 for 3 tools) and can keep the charged ready for action. Very pleased with Ryobi as a brand!
