There were reviews that said it was difficult to put together. I don’t agree. Had it up in 15 mins once I read the instructions. Make sure you check if it fits your bed frame as there are two types of bed guard. Mine fits perfectly to my bed.
Very easy to use especially with having arthritis in hands n also strong enough for adults use so don’t fall out of bed due to disabilities
Really simple to assemble if you possess even a faint ability to follow instructions. No idea what most of the reviews are on about. Seems sturdy, safe, pleased with it!

Simple to assemble with clear instructions. Is rigid and secure and comes with a handy storage bag, so we can use for future grand kids without having to store it made up. Very decent price and a nice product.
I already had one of these previously from a different website.
Assembly: I found it quite tricky, but there were instructions included. There isn’t much give putting the cover over the poles so you need to really stretch it.
Length: This covers the full length of a standard cot with the bars off. We also have one for our double bed and goes more than halfway down.
Bottom line: I got this for my son who climbs out of bed. It is extra wide extra deep, this has solved the problem. Even if he does climb out its not far off the ground. Would buy again!
I had to have another child bed rail for a single bed for a second grandchild coming to stay. I chose this one as it folds down so it is easier for adults to sit on the bed and read to a child or even get into bed with them, especially older adults. The picture wasn’t clear as to which way the folding mechanism worked so I had to undo it and start again. The bed rail looks sturdy just need a volunteer to tray it out for me. Very satisfied with the purchase so far.

I got this for my bed for my puppy after she fell and broke her leg. It is not advertised to be used in that fashion but the measurements where close to the width of a double bed. I would not recommend it for that use because on of the sides was always dipping off the bed. It was difficult to fold up because it required you to have a large wing span in order to press both buttons at the same time. I am still happy with the product. When i get out of bed my dog runs to the foot of the bed and waits for me there (she is a velcro dog). I trust it to stop her from over running to the end of the bed, or to stop her from going over the edge backwards when she gets into playing, which happened when she broke her leg. The folding mechanism was such a pain that it made me go back and forth between a 5 and a 4 star product.
This is brilliant easy to use and puts your mind at rest when your 2 1/2 year old grandson is in bed very sturdy and love we can put it down when not in use
Lovely big 150cm size. Sturdy. The instructions were terrible it was harder than making flat pack furnature.

It looks to do what it says on the tin! Didn’t find it hard to put together, was self explanatory to be fair. It seems to do the job.
This is working brilliantly. The assembly instructions are rubbish but I figured it out quite quickly. I co sleep with my baby when he’s unsettled but not every night and this is perfect for that as I can fold it up when I’ve brought him into my bed but it ticks nearly out of the way the rest of the time

Bought two of these to box my toddler into his bed when we moved him out of his cot! Mesh sides are great as baby monitor camera can see through them at night, strong enough to take him leaning against them in his sleep and also easy to transport for taking to his grandma’s etc. Would definately recommend

Easy enough to assemble if you follow a YouTube video and not the actual instructions as they are a bit confusing. Great item. Would buy again.

Good product, looks neat and is fairly sturdy once assembled and hooked in. The instructions are pretty terrible, but as another reviewer suggested, it’s easier to lay all the pieces out and figure it out yourself from the last photo. Took about 10 mins from unwrapping to being installed fully. The best part is that the guard folds down, which means the bed doesn’t always look odd. Nice item, would recommend.

The mounting instructions are not very clear but once you understand how to assemble it, the rail is good and does the job.
Once put together this is a very sturdy bed guard and fits my sunken mattress well, it is extra long and suits my king size bed, my little man will be safe from falling now. But!!!! oh boy the assembly instructions are awful. My daughter and I took and hour (together) trying to put this thing together, We ended up completing the task by looking at a picture of the completed guard from another website. Safetots Ltd you really need to invest in some good quality paper, a good coloured ink and restructure the instructions so everyday people can understand them. Overall though very happy with this items.
Like many reviews, the instructions are so hard to follow, but just lay the pieces out and work out the logistics in your head and click together makes it much simpler.
Once built they are great. My 4 yo rolls all about her double bed. We have one on either side. She can roll right up against them and they haven’t budged. We have a really thick mattress but they still sit a good 5-6 inches up above the mattress. Glad we purchased and would recommend

Assembly instructions not very clear. As this was the second one I’ve bought it was a bit easier. Excellent product once assembled.
It’s a good product but the instruction for assembly is really poor and it didn’t fit to our cot bed even though it’s a really wide one. So I guess it doesn’t fit most of the cot beds.
Others have said that the instructions leave something to be desired and there is truth in that. Not fantastic and looking at the picture on the box is probably easier.
However, once you have the assembly worked out putting it together is straight forward and does not require the arms of a silverback gorilla to manage it, unlike some.
To fit it you would probably be best having an assistant if used on a double bed as there is a strap that has to pass under the mattress to the other side in order to ensure the rail can’t come out. In practice I doubt that it would be needed especially if you are using this on a wooden framed bed where there may be a slight recess for the mattress which would lock the rail in place
You can fold it down when not in use by pressing a release button on each knuckle. A small lady can just about reach each side at the same time – my wife is 5’2″ and can manage it.
The guard protrudes about 6″ – 120mm above the mattress so plenty high enough to stop a little one from rolling out.
Overall a great bit of kit.

This is perfect. My son is 2 and has quite a large bed which is high off the ground. The guard is nice and wide and stops him from falling out of bed.
Its a good rail, but the button to make it go down is a bit hard to push.
This is great I love it! The extra length is perfect for single bed now I can rest knowing my little one is safe in bed! It is easy to put together if you ignore the awful instructions and go with your common sense and gut instinct!
This is very long and was to long for cot bed but keeping for transition to normal single bed
Der Zusammenbau ist ansich nicht schwer, wenn man den Dreh einmal raushat. Die Anleitung ist allerdings eher kompliziert und unbersichtlich und man sollte der englischen Sprache mchtig sein, da die Anleitung nicht auf Deutsch mitgeliefert wird.
Den Punkt Abzug gibt es dafr, dass die Tragetasche (zumindest uns) suggeriert hat, das Gitter sei leicht mit auf Reisen zu nehmen. Das ist es grundstzlich auch, allerdings muss man es dann komplett auseinanderbauen, was wir ziemlich umstndlich finden. Da wir ein groes Auto haben, passt es auch so hinein, aber optimal ist was anderes.
Fr alle, die ein Gitter suchen, welches nicht stndig auf- und abgebaut und transportiert werden soll, knnen wir dieses Gitter uneingeschrnkt weiterempfehlen. Einmal angebracht sitzt es bombenfest, ist absolut sicher und stabil und hat eine gute Funktionalitt.
The mechanism works really well and folds down easily. It doesn’t fold down exactly flat but near enough and this might be more to do with the bed as it has a little lip and not the guard to be honest.
The instructions were rubbish! I have taken part in the none televised crystal maze game experience and was a master of logic however even this stumped me! In the end I just looked at the pictures and identified each peice and then just used my own common sense to put it together. I had to re-just it as I have got it folding down the wrong side but that was a simple enough mistake and easy to fix just un attaching the parts and then swapping out the two top poles!
It works on a nipple system so easy to clip together and then depress the nipple to unattach it.
I’m pleased I put this up prior to giving it to my mum as I think she would have struggled if following the instructions as they really are not clear but the item items is good really well made and long enough to feel confidant to support my child.
When we come to getting a big boys bed I will definitely get another one for our house.
Also it came in a massive delivery box so not only did we get a bed guard but we also got an airplane too 🙂
As others have said the instructions are dire but it’s pretty easy to work out yourself. Sturdy and large enough for my king size bed to use whilst bed sharing with a baby.

Fits perfectly and works with the slatted base bed. Found instructions hard to follow (not sure they were correct), but had no problems working out how to put it together by looking at an enlarged picture of the bed rail on the Amazon website.
Just what we needed to keep our little one from falling off the bed. Very safe, like that its white and see through. That said the instructions were rubbish and it took forever to assemble, loads of parts and fiddly to get them through the mesh thing. Seller could consider rewriting instructions for good customer experience, I got fed up and almost gave up.
Only used it on a king size bed. Sturdy! Bit tricky to make, well I found it tricky. Used for co sleeping. I did put a small pillow on the rail side for padding as my babies still small and keeps whacking the metal rail. Not sure if it will topple when using on the cotbed later on, time will tell when we get to that stage. I didn’t use the safety clip or anything just tucked it under the mattress and didn’t budge because my mattress is new and it’s very very heavy. Does the job!
Fab bed guard can not fault it but the instructions could of been a bit clearer as I was so tempted to throw it through the window lol but other than that good buy

More sturdy than we thought. Ideal for my mother in law who suffers with dementia and tends to roll out of bed. A much cheaper solution than buying a “special” bed. Well impressed.
Good long bed guard fitted adult single bed – only downside are the awful instructions on how to put it together plus it doesn’t easily pack away when not in use – full dissemble job needed!

I bought two safe tots as the bed was a standard double bed used for adult guest too. As these guards fold down its ideal. My son put the guards on the bed – he had already put something similar on his sons bed. It took him about 20 mins to do both.
Arrived in really good time and the product is exactly what we needed. Less a star just because it doesn’t fold all the way down (but I was aware of this before purchasing). Good size for single bed with just enough space my son to crawl down in the mornings but not too much so doesn’t fall off during the night!

Great size, leaves just enough room for our daughter to climb in and out of bed, but is long enough to keep a very active little sleeper from falling!
Bought this to use as a headboard on a futon which turned out to be just the job, no more pillows falling off the bed during the night! Will no doubt use it for it’s intended purpose when the grandchildren no longer sleep in the travel cots but until then I’m extremely satisfied using it the way I do….it’s well made & the drop down feature is a good idea and easy to stow away when not needed.
Took 10 minutes to assemble. Would have taken 5 if the instructions were a little better written. The good news is that it works and we all feel a little safer at night.
It arrived 3 days early. The instructions were very difficult to understand. The pictures do not show any differentiation between the poles. I had to take it apart and re do the whole thing. That was a little frustrating. The bed guard is fantastic. My 9 month old has been saved by it many times. I know the instructions say for 18months to 5 year olds, but I never leave my baby in the room alone while she sleeps so there is no way she can get trapped or injured so I am perfectly happy. I love the fact that it folds down along side the bed so that it also stops my little one from pulling anything out that’s under the bed!
