A little too low for purpose

Does the job
Works ok and easy to put in. Does the job but seems expensive for what it is. I got this as I liked the size and it is longer than most bed guards. Wish I looked elsewhere for a cheaper version though.

Keeps my boy asleep
The rails add height to fall from. When the rails are on and the boy wakes up, he falls off the rails and knocks himself unconscious, puts himself back to sleep. With the rails off, he rolls off the side of the bed and cries really loudly waking me and my wife. Three cheers for the extra wide bed guard

I love it!!
Going to be buying another for the bottom bunk! The length and the height is perfect!!! Only thing is the box was damaged and there was a mark on the frame but other than that I love the look!

Optional pins needed for strength
It is large and pre-assembled (yay!) But only has a hinge to stop the guard being pushed open. There are holes for wooden dowels that are not included that make the frame really quite strong.
Easy to install on the under the mattress and seems quite strong enough (with the dowels) to stop you rolling out. to be fair it doesn’t need to be that strong, most people stop moving when they hit an obstruction in their sleep!
Good but squeaky
Does the job, looks nice, sturdy and secure but squeaks every time someone moves! Which is irritating but not a massive deal when the product is good.

If you don’t want to add to the plastic in your house, this bed guard is ideal. It is easy to install and looks good. Sturdy construction. Please note that the picture was taken before it was adjusted to give a 25cm gap between the guard and the end of the bed as per instructions.

Sturdy, hard-wearing, felt safe.
Sturdy and good quality. Good length of coverage on the side of the bed. Kept my daughter safe when she broke her ankle and couldn’t get out of bed without support.

Easy to put together and fit on the base of the bed. Won’t stop a child getting out of bed but does stop the child from rolling out.

Looks good and performs as it should. It does cause a slope under the mattress (toddler foam mattress) sure this wouldn’t be a problem with an adult mattress. We have just laid some lengths of wood the same thickness as the base of the bed guard to even out the base of the bed. Seems to be working
