Works ok,but no instruction or cooking times
Works ok but no instructions or cooking times
i cannot bend due to old age and the oven is a godsend
I have used it only twice since it came last week so it is a bit soon to do a review. But so far it is very good although I think I need to put it on a slightly higher heat than my old gas oven. The delivery was swift and excellent.
The size is small enough to sit comfortably on the work top. Big enough to cook comfortable for 1 or 2 people.
Did what it says on tin, bought this as a replacement for our old unit. If I was to be critical, it would be that it would benefit from a circulating fan (which our old unit had) but still a great little ove
This Mini Oven is very good, i haven’t got anything bad to say about it, certainly worth the 5 Stars.
As I said not had it long to pass any comments
Easy to use – saves money by not using the main oven.
After losing my wife recently I decided to get rid of the main oven and buy this. I brought it in the black Friday sale and it is the best thing I bought. The value for money is worth it. The temperature control is spot on. I would buy one agai

Product is lovely, perfect size for a single person and cooks quickly
Bought for my elderly mother as not using larger oven any more as finding it difficult to keep clean. Fair size, like a standard microwave size. Heats up quickly and easy to use. The controls do seem flimsy and old fashioned. No clear markings on the temperature dial and its easily moves if knocked by accident. Overall happy with it and goof value for money.
A handy piece of kit to have in the kitchen.
Brought for a friend and they were happy with it as needed a compact oven..
Easy to use, excellent for breakfast toast, but not recommend for baking with source because it’s not easy to clea
I can’t tell you how impressed I am with this little oven, I thought I would try one of these after seeing how much time it took the oven in my main cooker to warm up to start cooking, I live on my own and with the cost of electricity going up so much I thought I would try one of these, well for a start it heats up immediately so I’m saving half an hour already I’ve tried pies and sausage rolls and part cooked rolls which all before had taken as said twenty minutes to half an hour before could even put in main oven to cook,it’s immediately ready and as it has heat at top and bottom cooks to perfection.I do lots of stews so that’s the next thing.l definitely recommend this little gem if you want to save money.I have a smart meter and have watched a quarter of what my main oven would have used to what has been used in this little gem.I defiantly rocommend.
Bought for an elderly person to warm up meals and for safety with automatic switch off
The cookers finebut very disappointed there were no instructions with itsuch a nuisance ..have tried looking up on google. Not much help
Its an oven what do you think its used fo
Great for small dishes for one person ,fish chops bacon so forth
Cooks in very short time therefore energy efficie
I’m a little bit disappointed that the temperature rating goes up to only 230 degrees celsius. Likewise, you have to listen carefully when you set the timing mechanism, to hear it ticking. Still, it does the job, though!
very efficient oven 5 different functions, have not had it long though
Yes, it’s small and it’s because it’s small that I find it a good addition to the kitchen. There are times that we make snacks or light breakfast that we don’t want to start the oven. It comes in handy. In minutes, the food is readily cooked to enjoy. Energy efficient? Yes, of course. Think of the saving of not using the big oven.
his one is okay but I preferred the smaller one with the single heater. But that broke down after 18 months. Time will tell over the next few weeks. Still cheaper than a big conventional oven which takes ages to heat up.
Great oven , cooks food quickly and evenly, sadly seems to lack a backlight, but hey for price and quality, that’s my only gripe , although not hard to open door and look !
As what to be expected from an oven of this size capacity isn’t going to be overwhelming and it’s not the most powerful – but consider the price point vs a household appliance and I think this not unreasonable.
I would have like the shelf and tray to be able to sit a little further apart but having used it once it’s a suitable solution for our Campervan and allowed us to heat up some food on the tray and cook a mini pizza on the shelf.
The pizza took 2-3 times longer than in a conventional oven and was a little doughy but I wasn’t expecting home oven results and the kids didn’t seem to mind!
I would recommend switching it on for a good 15-20 minutes somewhere well ventilated when first unpacked as it (as detailed in the manual) let’s off some reasonable levels of smoke on first use. On second use though this was non existent, which was reassuring.
It is sturdy yet compact and light and seems good quality so far, as I would expect from Salter.
It has a light on the front (not internally) when in operation which is good so you know it’s on as the element does brighten and fade out during cooking to maintain temperature at the set level. You have to have the timer going like many similar models which isn’t a problem but note you have to wait for it to get to zero before turning off, so don’t just crank it up (or force it down to 0)
All in all for the price and the non-everyday use we need it for in a Campervan it’s a good buy and stores neatly under the rear seat area when not in use.
It’s just perfect for me. But I don’t no how to work the middle dial so I don’t no what the four signs mean so I carnt use it until I find out so if any one can help I’d be greatful I no how to use the timer and temperature dials
