The Salter Airfryer is fast cooking and easy to clean. At the moment I am wiithout a kitchen and oven, as I am having a new kitchen fitted, so the Salter Airfryer is really useful and mobile.

I upgraded my old one drawer item to this one and am happy with it. I like that I can cook different things in the drawers and have it at different temperatures. It is pretty big and takes up a lot of space on my kitchen sides but that’s the only downside and if I had a bigger kitchen, I wouldn’t mind as much ha

I bought this air fryer to replace the regal original one which has a rotating paddle in the centre. This was ideal for cooking chunkier chips because they were constantly turned to cook them evenly – this one however is static so I found i have to spread the chips over both drawers. I find this to be a little misleading in the marketing as the chip setting is far too short.
That said, the air fryer had been great for veggies, pies and almost everything else.
The handles feel a little cheap but the overall look of the product is nice.

Bought this about 4 weeks ago. Been happy with functionality, build quality and product. Used it maybe 10 times, bought some silicone trays to help cleaning. Just noticed the bottom is puffing smoke, perhaps a seal not working. Not sure

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought one of these for our son for Christmas. We were so impressed with it we bought one for ourselves! After having air fryers with baskets we much prefer this as it is more like a mini oven with the shelves so you can have more things cooking in one go. Once you have the hang of it, it is easy to program to either sink or match the cooking time. Also great that you can use as one larger air fryer by removing the middle section. Great for cooking larger quantities for a family.
So pleased with it. Would definitely recommend this air fryer.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNot as easy to use as they make out also not as many options as it’s main rival.I wouldn’t spend as much money again on an air fryer. It works fine but it is big and takes up abit of space also quite heavy if you need to move it about so you need to bear this in mind if you are not so strong or if you have joint problems.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWe bought this as an upgrade from our 150 Philips air fryer that had a single drawer with lower capacity. For the price (110 at time of purchase) this unit is an absolute steal, the interface along with the capacitive buttons are so much more responsive than the Philips one so it’s a joy to use. It seems to heat faster than the other one too!

My only complaints would be that it’s a bit louder than our Philips one (although not really an issue for us per s) and that the holes in the grates inside are big enough for smaller items e.g. small chips to fall through when tossing them while cooking – see picture attached.

Despite the minor complaints we’re really happy with this, highly recommend it to anybody looking for an affordable dual-drawer airfryer.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThis air fryer from Amazon is an excellent choice for anyone looking to make healthier meals without sacrificing taste. The air fryer works by circulating hot air around food, which cooks it quickly and evenly. This air fryer is adjustable with temperature up to 400F, and timer settings up to 30 minutes. I was extremely impressed by how quickly the food was cooked. I was also pleased by how evenly the food was cooked – there were no cold spots or overcooked sections. The air fryer is also easy to clean, with an easy-to-remove basket and non-stick surface. I was surprised by how energy efficient this air fryer is, using up to 75% less energy than a traditional oven. Lastly, the air fryer is very quiet – no loud fan or motor noise. I highly recommend this air fryer to anyone looking for a healthy way to cook delicious meals quickly and easily.

Note it takes a bit of playing around with on timings etc.. helps to pre-heat and we have found buying some racks help greatly on certain foods

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI’ve been a bit sceptical about the Air Fryer revolution and reluctant to invest. I’ve seen the dual Ninja in action and it’s good, but far too expensive. However this one was recommended to me by a family member and I decided to take the plunge.
I have hardly used my oven since it was delivered, it’s great, it does cook stuff quicker and better, in most cases, than a conventional oven.
If you are thinking of buying an Air Fryer don’t pay all that extra money for the Ninja name.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersHaven’t had an air fryer before but hardly using the oven since we bought this. I think this will change a little in winter when I am making casseroles etc but the air fryer is so useful for items such as various fries, jackets, halloumi and fish.
It cooks very quickly and evenly and must be using a lot less electricity than our oven, it is also easy to clean.
The only downside, which has been noted by other reviewers, is the very poor instruction booklet. Salter – please take note.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI made the decision to buy an air fryer as my oven was taking 25minutes to reach 170c before I could use it. These days, thanks to the air fryer, the meal is cooked within 25 minutes from start to finish.
So, I’m saving on power costs, I’m saving time when it comes to cleaning dishes & I’m saving money on oven cleaning twice a year at 60 a time.
The air fryer has paid for itself already and I’m enjoying cooking with it (it’s a bit of a “man thing” for me akin to Barbecuing). My Wife is very happy also!!

Turns out I haven’t used my oven since getting it so a massive winner. Easy to use. Only reason for 4stars is that I had an error after only 4 weeks and had to return. That said the retailer gets 6 stars out of 5 as they supplied a replacement before I ha$ a chance to return the original.excellent service.

This is a pretty large device so make sure you have space for it.

From experience set it to 10C below what is usually recommended and cook for 80% of the time recommended. Thicker stuff that is frozen might need a bit more time though.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe obviously jumped on the Airfryer bandwagon and it hasn’t disappointed us. This brand is perfect and as good as the leading brand. Food is cooked perfectly and so much quicker than using the oven. We’ve gone from using the oven daily to maybe once a week if that.
The Airfryer is easy to understand and easy to clean. It is a very large appliance so does take a lot of room up but for us that’s a small compromise.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersBeen thinking about an air fryer for some months. Receiving some amazon vouchers from our children for Christmas presents helped the decision.
Purchased this one after looking at endless options available and used 5 or 6 times.
It is easy to use and cooks the food extremely well, removing all the excess oil or fat and giving a crisp tasty finish to breadcrumber fish or chicken and sausages cook exceptionally well. As do oven chips!
    Easy to clean being non-stick.
It does take a bit of trial and error to get the cooking times correct – somewhere between the fan oven settings on the food packet and those in the supplied booklet seems about right
Also has a 3 year guarantee offered from manufacturer.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is such a great air fryer. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. You can get plenty of food in each holder, I managed a whole chicken which easily cooked in 45 minutes and the sync cooking is such a great option to use as well. Might not be good for a big family, but could easily cater for 2 to 3 people’s meals. I’ve cooked, meat, fish, vegetables and snacks in there. It’s not too noisy, clear screens for choosing your cooking options and a handy beeping noise to let you know it’s finished. I absolutely recommend this air fryer and glad I bought it.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersPurchased 03/07/2022 and in regular use since then. General impression is that it does a good job on everything from oven chips to small joints of meat. Controls are simple and easy to use and containers are easy to clean (after removing the food I put in a few drops of washing up liquid and enough water to cover the removable tray and put them back in position to cool gradually whilst grease etc dissolves). It is particularly good on things like lamb and pork chops (nice crispy fat) and chicken portions. It also makes oven chips taste like real chips, especially if you add some very thin slices of lard during cooking and keep tossing them every three or four minutes, as it does have a tendency to cook the chips at the front and back of the containers faster than those in the middle.
It just has one annoying feature that loses it a star, as, surprisingly, it is quite noisy and is the loudest piece of equipment in our kitchen, with only a 25 year old tumble drier managing to rival it.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis arrived a week earlier than expected which was a bonus. The display is clear and is so easy to use. The instruction manual actually explains how to use each function in plain English instead of the usual waffle you get with most instructions. I have tried a few air fryers and this one definitely wins hands down. It is nice and quiet when in use and doesn’t sound like a plane taking off (as some do). It’s great to have the dual drawers which can be used together or independently if only cooking one item and the Sync function is fab. Would definitely recommend this air frye

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersThis came in 5 days despite it saying 1 to 2 months so was very happy with that. It’s a bit taller than I expected but still fits under my cupboards. We’re still learning really as only had it less than a week but so far so good. I had a manual and a recipe booklet/cooking chart with it – so they are useful and certainly enough to start using it. So.eone reviewed and asked what the icon on top left was – well it says in back of manual that it’s re-heat. Have done a few things in it and everything has come out lovely – fish fingers took 7 mins and were lovely and crisp on outside. Jacket pots and chicken kiev also really lovely. Will need to tweak times and temperatures from own recipes to get the best results as some things can be done on a lower temp. I’m happy with my purchase and I’m glad I didn’t pay Ninja prices.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThe Salter Air fryer seems to do ‘what it says on the tin’ It is a concentrated hot air flow convection oven that will save a lot of power because the compartments are a lot smaller than a usual oven. The heat blows down from above,
Having said that, you must regularly stir up the contents to prevent the upper surface from burning. It differs considerably from conventional cooking, and I would recommend anyone to watch a video or two before using. I am realising that because it cooks so quickly it is easy to under, or overcook, dependent on quantity and type of food.
I am sure it willl become a basic method of fast economic cooking as I gain more expertise.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersThis is easily in my top 10 of gadgets, straight out of the box and after getting the usual smells burned off a new appliance. getting to grips with the controls was a breeze, very intuitive and i barely had to look at the instructions.

the hardest part initially is in the timing of cooking, there is a bit of a learning curve to it but after watching a few youtube videos of others using air fryers to get a ball park time for different foods it became a lot easier to gauge how long foods were going to cook. having two separate cooking areas is grea.

cooking times in relation to a normal electric oven are reduced and with it not taking an age to pre heat i;m saving a fortune on power usage. no idea why i waited so long to get one

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersIt’s an air fryer, not really much worth saying about that, so I’ll focus on what I like about this particular model.

The two drawers are quite spacious, which makes shaking your fries etc part way through much easier (although if you only have a single portion in then you probably won’t need to). I love that you can set the drawers to finish at the same time if you want to, regardless of how long each one needs to cook for or what temperature they are – perfect for making sure fries and nuggets are ready together! The preset buttons are ok, personally I’d like the ability to reprogram them (I’ll never use some of them) but they’re a nice shortcut.

The only downside I’ve found is that the removable base inside the pans falls out too easily. If you’re tipping fries onto a plate, the base will fall out too – and of course it’s a hot sheet of metal, so you have to be careful picking it up. It’s great for separating the fat from the food, but completely pointless of it’s just going to fall out and dump the fat all over the food anyway. There really should be something to hold it in, or a removable basket like other fryers.
