I love everything about my wash machine and I keep saying to my family and friends, if you have to buy a new one, buy this Samsung. It’s amazing, very easy and unbelievably quiet. I’m very impressed.
So, so quiet…but that could be me, going deaf.

I love this washing machine! It has a selection of temperature, spin speeds and number of rinses. Compared with my previous much cheaper one laundry is cleaner and smells fresher and doesn’t mix laundry liquid with softener. No more extra rinse!
Very smart looking machine, and quite stylishly designed. Very good explanation of all the available cycles. Quite flexible in allowing changes to pre-set cycles. Would have been more useful if the ‘Quick Wash’ cycle was, say, 30 mins, rather than the prefixed 15 mins. Quite pleasantly quiet in normal running modes, and very mildly vibrating in spin modes.

Best washer i have owned love the drum clean program easy to use very quiet love that you can add it to samsung smartthings so if your out u can look to see how long its got left and the only disappointment was ths delivery men who thought it waz ok to leave the washer in front garden so my partner had to lift it up two steps then in to the kitche
it is very rear for me to give a product review for Amazon, however an exception is called for today – this is the second Samsung washing machine we have bought – even better than the first!!, and we applaud the team that delivered to us, nothing was too much trouble for them and both went out of their way to ensure we were happy with both aspects, i.e. machine and installation.

We could not get the calibration to work but the washer works fine.
Very good washer. I’ve been using for several months now and there’s nothing not to like. Good choice of washing settings. Very quiet and plays a little tune to let you know it’s finished !! Clothes have always come out clean and smelling really fresh. The self clean wash is a great idea, keeps washer from smelling.
Only needed a new door release latch as original one broke after 8 years.
Cannot complain about that but in the end it was just not cleaning the clothes as well as it should so time to go.
This one has auto dose and it seems a great idea so far.
The trout melody is a little annoying after the novelty wears off but you will either turn it off or learn to love it.
As for it being more efficient it’s hard to say as the programs are not comparable.
All I can say is that a quick wash is longer and so more expensive and many other programs are longer too so they use more kWh than my old one on the few trials we did.
But all in all after two months it’s been a great start.
Not sure if the black door frame will still look as unmarked in a year or so as I fear it may well scratch of leaving a shabby looking machine.
I’m happy with my choice. Really good and simple in use.
– of course, noise levels are subjective when it comes to how people perceive it and review it, but at 1400rpm full spin it was stunningly quiet compared to many other machines I encountered in my life…
– frankly, reviews saying that it dances on the floor must have missed key step of levelling the machine properly with the leg adjustments; it does not budge or shake even with mixed load and just purrs at full spin – on a solid and horizontal floor;
– also, reviews saying it makes knocking sounds, well, wondering whether at least one transit bolt has been left in… There is no such sound whatsoever and when it just spins the drum for washing action it is so smooth and quiet that it is almost a reassuring cosy sound.
– turning off the silly melody at the end of the wash is a nice feature, as it can be annoying… especially as the beeping sounds like something out of a 1980s game arcade. Cute, but it just makes me too nostalgic 🙂
– the eco bubble, steam cleaning, drum clean etc. features are superb; IMPORTANT note, do NOT miss the drum calibration before using it. It sounds trivial and something one may want to skip, but it works well for adjusting cycle durations and water usage etc. for the actual weight of the load put in the drum.
Overall, very please so far – I had an old Indesit, and this is a huge improvement. Let’s see over time how it performs.
Much quieter than my previous machine. very easy to use and a great amount of wash settings.
Quick delivery. Easy to instal. 2nd samsung previous lasted 8 years so hope lasts at least this time
Really quiet machine. Spins to near dry so my dryer is hardly used anymore. Definitely recommend.

As it’s only two weeks since the purchase I can only assume it is going to continue to work as well as it does at present.
i bought this washing machine and also a dryer from samsung and have been very happy with both also our old washing machine was sounding like it was a rocket blasting off into space when we used but this one omg its so silent can barely here it a times and the little jingle it has to tell you when its done is really nice to have i really cant praise it enough if your thinking about buying it you should i have had no regrets

Fantastic washer. Really easy to use, and changes can easily be made to customise they cycle. I was worried it didn’t have a 60min wash, but you can adjust the cycles to make them 60mins. All the Samsung models seem very deep, so you may find it protrudes a little when installed, but it doesn’t look out of place. A million times better than my hotpoint that went bust at only 16 months old!
l wish l’d bought this sooner as the performance and quality it delivers is worth every penny, and if this 7kg isn’t big enough there’s an 8kg and a 9kg model available, all with a 5 year guarantee that l’d not hesitate to recommend. Check them all out on ‘Which’.
easy to use.very quiet on wash mode but quite noisy on spin.
This new machine seems to be a lot quieter and more features on it. Its well worth the money.
