This is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone! My baby was very poorly and when he came home from the hospital I was a wreck – this device helped to ease my worries and get some sleep.
It is so easy to use and I love that it’s portable – doesn’t matter if baby is sleeping in his cot, pram, etc because it just clips to his vest. Also no false alarms when you lift baby up like the in cot ones because it doesn’t matter if you forget to turn it off when you lift them.
I haven’t had a single false alarm! It went off when baby stopped breathing (thankfully he was ok) and once when baby rolled on to front.
The temp function is also useful to keep an eye on how warm/cold baby is, although I always checked his chest and they generally matched.
When the clip broke, they sent me two free of charge.
I had a problem with my device several months after buying it and they replaced it for free without any fuss and were very kind. The customer service is perfect!
The product does what it says it does, the temperature probe is probably accurate but please be aware the 2019 version only does ambient temperature whilst the 2020 version does body temperature too. It is not clear on their product description and I got the wrong one. The respiratory rate is generally ok. They are +/- 5 off what I count manually but gives you the peace of mind non the less. I would also advice people to have a look on other websites for a cheaper deal on the 2019 version. I have prime so it worked out okay for me. Highly recommend peoeple getting the 2020 version just for a few quid more. Gutted I got the older version. Also the instruction for clipping the monitor is not very good, there’s just too many versions of the manuals online and the newer clip clips on differently to the older version.
Bought this device for our newborn, very easy to set up with great features including the alerts which inform you about their breathing, position and temperature gives great peace of mind when they are sleeping and your trying to judge if they are to hot or to cold. Would definitely reccomend to anyone.
This is for our second child and is perfect before we decide on the camera option. It’s alerts are so much nicer than the plates that make such a loud noise that they would wake our other child up causing chaos at 3am! One crying child is enough!
Not had it long but so far no false alarms. Easy to use and set up. Great for the price especially when it’s deal of the day. I just find it great for piece of mind.

The product is great for reassurance, gives parents a chance to have a rest also. I like the fact that you can turn it on from your phone. However, the details area little bit confusing to set up and use. And in relation to attaching the item to clothing it’s a little tricky because the item is seemingly fragile. But overall, I would definitely use again for peace of mind.
Still waiting for a baby, but I tested on myself and its working as it should. We choose it because of portability. Wherever baby will be, sensor will be with a baby, not like with other similar products.
What I miss is some kind of wake up for a baby when it stop breathing – sound or vibration.
This item arrived very quickly! We found it very easy to set up and pair to our phone. This product is going to give me a lot of reassurance as a first time parent.
My baby hasn’t arrived yet however I attached it to myself and it was very accurate with saying what position I was laying in.
I love that the product is small, this will be easier to take when staying away from home rather than taking a mat monitor and leads etc.
I’m due in July so we haven’t used this on the baby yet but we’ve tested it out to make sure it works and we are really impressed with all of the different features. It’s smaller than some of the other ones we looked at so likely to be much more comfortable and the alarm only sounds on your phone and not in the baby’s room so if there are any false alarms, there is less of a chance of waking the baby.
Provides me with the reassurance I need as a new Mum to get some sleep! Beforehand I would check on my baby multiple times a night to see if he was ok and breathing. I still check on him, but not as much as I did previously as I now have another monitor in place to ensure he’s ok.
The Sense-U is so easy to use and not too bulky on my babies nappy. And it’s very quick to switch over during changes as well. Much better than the look of other brands out there.

Ok, I’m only giving this four star currently as I have only had it for a little while but so far it has been working well. I have a sensor Matt in my babies current small crib but as she moves around so much it will not work in her big cot so I was looking for something new and I found this and got really excited. So far it works well
Our baby isn’t here yet, I am a few days off of my due date, however we have tried the u-sense and it appears to work perfectly? I attached it to myself and when I moved so did the baby and as soon as it was off or I was on my front the alarms went off. Will be a brilliant for piece of mind whilst I am sleeping for the first few months.
We are really happy with this monitor. Really gave us the peace of mind to allow our little one to move into her own bedroom. The app gives very loud alarms when no breathing is detected, or baby rolls over etc which is great. Small and compact and does not disturb the baby at all, simply clips into their clothing at night time.

This is fantastic and reassuring. The only complaints I would have are that is quite hard to work out alerts without leaving your screen on. But that maybe a phone rather than sense u thing. Does need to be on a vest or nappy ideally as otherwise it can falsely alert if you have a wiggly baby. Wish I had had it since birth! Bought because little one kept sleeping on her face

The portability of this product is one of the reasons why I love this product. We already have a standard cot monitor in the bedroom but it is impractical to move such when we put our baby to sleep in other rooms. The ambient temperature, rollover and overheating alerts are a plus! A great value for money indeed.

This product is great for new parents to reassure them that everything really is ok! Especially at night time when your constantly checking on them, simply leave your phone on loud and any roll onto the stomach or breathing/temp change you get an alert until you leave it off.

We haven’t had our baby yet but I have tested it out and it seems to work well. It’s easy to set up and the app is really useful and easy to navigate. It seems accurate when I test it, the app quickly responds to the different movements.

I love this – much prefer it to the angel monitor I had for my son, that had lots of hassle – plugging in/turning off every time need a feed/change.
This is simple and works how I need it to.
I loved that the notifications, on my phone, are loud. They also override everything on my phone to tell me if baby is sleeping on his belly (he’s really lying on my chest) I had an alarm go off with another product, and the alarm was so quiet I only heard it when I walked past the crib. The noise certainly wouldn’t wake me up through the night. This is why I started using the Sense-U.
Gives peace of mind. Doesn’t change or reduce any of the work you need to do to keep a newborn safe but it does give an extra layer of protection. Make sure to put the sensor on the layer closest to baby and not the outside layer. We learned the hard way with two false alarms during the first night baby was home.
Update** – Customer Service
Had an issue with the outer casing breaking recently. Contacted Sense-U Customer Service through Amazon with low expectations. Received a response within 12 hours and a replacement part – free of charge on the way within 18 hours from my first email.

Bought this for my daughter as she was born prematurely so wanted to be able to monitor her breathing for peace of mind. It’s so easy to use and I really liked the idea of it being connected to my phone so I can receive any alerts. Sometimes it can be a bit sensitive so need to make sure it’s placed properly as I have had a few false alarms and the temperature detector isn’t quite accurate. Other than this I’m really happy with the is product and definitely worth the money
It’s really good and gives so needed peace of mind in those few hours of sleep.
It did send few false alarms but I rather that then no alarm when baby struggle to breathe. Plus got to make sure that device is placed in good place and correctly detects breathing.
We ordered this and the 1st one didn’t work properly so make sure its in full working order. Our replacement was fine and we have been using it every night!
It’s breathing/ temperature seems accurate and we haven’t had any false alarms which is good. As soon as I take it off her the alarm sounds so it proves to me it is working properly. Really good for peace of mind.
My only criticism is that the distance it connects to isn’t that much, it will work with baby upstairs and us downstairs but if I move into back of the house it looses connection, I guess that’s just Bluetooth for you though.
Would recommend as I think it’s really good value for money.
I noticed our 1 month old often held her breath when feeding and then gasped for air. This made me think about SID. Although we never bought a breathing monitor for our first, I felt it’s necessary for our baby girl. After much consideration and reading many reviews, we chose Sense U. It’s been great so far! Very user friendly, it also allows you to fine tune when the alarm should kick off. We first set the alarm to go off after 15 seconds weak breathing but then we found 18 seconds would give both us and the baby best sleep whilst stay safe.
Ok for the peace of mind it’s great, it does have issues but that may be device related at I have issues with Bluetooth disconnecting. I have a oneplus 5T which is known to have Bluetooth issues.
When it is working it reacts quickly, if baby rolls over or a poor breathing rate is detected the alarm will be raised almost instantly.

Being first time parents, we were really nervous about knowing when our newborn was too hot/cold but also to check her breathing and if she rolls over in the night.
Like most new parents, I spent our first night watching her obsessively to make sure she was still breathing. The next night, we used this sensor and it really helped me to relax a little and actually get some sleep myself. It is easy to use and set up and seems to be very accurate.
I also use it when I take our baby outside on walks to monitor her temperature so I know when to add or remove a blanket.
Everything works just fine apart from the temperature. 34 is the highest temperature that i have seen and it is attached to baby tightly. No false alarms.
Love how effortless this product is to use. The Easy clip on sensor connects to your phone and detects my baby’s breathing, body temp and movements whilst she sleeps giving me that peace of mind I need whilst I am downstairs or asleep without any worries! Highly recommended

The easy clip on and the fact that it comes with a spare battery and tool to change it shows that it’s a well thought product.

This device really does give peace of mind! It’s only had the odd wrong alerts but I’d rather that than not having the device at all. Don’t know what I would do without it. It is very expensive though but can find good deals for it!
After our son stopped breathing at 7weeks old and I had to give rescue breaths to get him breathing again, I couldn’t get any sleep I was constantly watching his breathing until my body would collapse with exhaustion! I searched for many products including a sleep mat which I brought and took back ( it wont work with a next to me cot) I then found the sense u baby monitor…wow I cannot recommend this product enough extremely easy to set up and sits lovely on our sons vest doesn’t bother him being there at all! I have complete peace of mind and finally I sleep (well as much as he will let me)! The sense u not only alarms when there is no breathing it also alarms for stomach sleeping and a drop in temperature which can all be adjusted in the app’s settings, I’ve had no false alarms! Love this product and would not be without it!
Great value product!
We bought this product with the intentions to get some peace of mind at night or when we left the baby sleeping in his crib during daytime. And that’s exactly what we got! It works great and we haven’t had any problems with false alarms. Love that it also alarms when baby rolls over on its stomach and keeps track of the temperature. We have used it when the baby has been in the stroller as well to make sure it’s not too hot or too warm.

The temperature is off a little bit. Not sure how I fix that? It’s saying my sons temperature is 91.8 and his breathing is 54 per minute. So hopefully the breathing is right, otherwise it’s useless. The sensor for which side he’s laying on is good though. It does back, side, tummy, and sitting up.
We were looking for something to give us that extra peace of mind after moving our little boy into his own room, and decided to try Sense-U over the likes of other breathing monitor devices such as Angel Care. It was super easy to set up, and using it likewise. As we already had monitors, this works in prefect harmony with our existing set up, and is great for taking place to place if our little one takes a nap at a relatives. As he also suffered with infant bronchiolitis when he was young, I love that it is able to give such a close reading of his breath rate with the cold and wintery bugs making a reappearance! Such good value for money!
This product is a fantastic security measure when you have a baby with sleep apnea. Also regular chest infections. It picks things up very quickly. The only thing I think may need a slight tweak is the temp gauge on it. But that’s what a thermometer is for!!
Best value for money product! After comparing several products available on the market, this appeared to be the best in terms of accuracy, practicality and the most user friendly! It monitors baby’s breathing which to us was the priority. I find it works better with more fitted clothes and it’s super easy to fit! Totally recommend!
Our son had RSV, was only four months old and we didn’t have a way of checking his breathing/ everything else. This product is honestly put my mind at ease. I’m able to get things done without worrying if he’s rolled on his belly or not because the app connected to the product tells me which way he is laying, how quickly he is breathing, and whether he is too cold or too hot. It has really left me with peace of mind.
I spent the first 2 weeks terrified of overheating my newborn, and then was terrified of him not breathing. This has given me piece of mind and let me sleep. Very happy so far with the purchase a week in.
Brilliant item I get alarms to my phone when the babys rolled onto his front or stopped breathing. It gives us piece of mind that the baby is safe from anywhere in the house. It’s a must have item for newborn babies.

This is an amazing product, and although I believe this could be sold a bit cheaper, I suppose you can’t put a price on your child’s safety (in which was the whole point of buying this product for me).
My baby was born with a life threatening heart condition called Pulmonary Atresia. The first 20 days of his life he spent in hospital between the Neonatal unit, cardiac ward, theatre for open heart surgery and the pediatric intensive care unit. This meant I had come accustomed to Charlie’s heart being monitored consistently. When he was discharged from hospital, the thought of my first night of having him at home with no wires to monitor him terrified me. This product put my mind at ease and allowed me to sleep!
The product monitors his breathing and ambient temperature, and sends alerts to your phone when your baby’s breathing becomes too fast or too slow. I rated this 4 stars as opposed to 5 because you can only link the monitor to one smart phone at a time. Meaning it has to link to my phone or my partners instead of the option to have it linked to both simultaneously. Aside from that, excellent product (especially if you may be paranoid at the possibility of losing your child to cot death, etc).
I bought this for my newborn daughter and found it a godsend giving me peace of mind. It was easily set up, clips onto vest/sleep suit, the clothing does have to fit correctly as if too baggy this can affect readings and set off the alarm. It gives constant reading of temperature, breathing rate and sleeping position. I leave the app open on my phone which does drain the battery but it provides a bit of a night light. You can set alerts if temperature drops/rises and if they roll onto their tummy. The range on the Sense-U isn’t great as it uses Bluetooth so you do have to be in same room for it to connect and stay connected. I have to change the battery around every 4 weeks and I use it every night so not bad. However it does need to be removed from clothing when not needed as this does deplete battery life in the Sense-U. Also I log out of the app when not in use or again this can affect battery life as it tries to connect when in range and can set off alarms re temp drop, weak breathing etc.
But overall my opinion of the Sense-U is that it is an excellent essential piece of monitoring equipment. It resolves any paranoia issues and gives me the peace of mind to be able to fall asleep quickly.
What an amazing product! If your a parent that keeps checking on there baby every 5mins for breathing and movements, i highly recommended this. Now my sleepless nights of driving my self crazy has gone. Its an easy set up and your baby wont even know they are wearing it as small and light weight.
Bought in Black Friday deal. I’m not an anxious mother but when he has a cold it gives peace of mind. Also useful to check temperature when out. Can lose connectivity when off, meaning it needs resyncing but it’s easy to do.
We are happy with this breathing monitor. It gives us piece of mind as our baby likes to sleep on his tummy. It took me a day or two to figure out how to get alerts that will wake me up, some tinkering with notifications on your phone is needed. I tested breathing monitor several times by placing on my chest and then removing, it alerted every time.
Temperature monitor is a nice feature, I use it to check if I need to add extra blanket 🙂

Easy to download the app and to use the monitor. It fits securely on baby’s sleepsuit without destroying it.

The only downside is that if I’m too close to baby, the monitor tends to pick up my breathing. However, I can easily check this on the app and find the appropriate position for sleep (and I’m still close to my baby)
After reading mixed reviews for this product I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I am so glad I did! Amazing product. Ideal for first time parents for that extra peace of mind. Fits nice and snug on clothes. Yes it’s quite sensitive but wouldn’t you rather it be too sensitive and pick up everything rather than not at all and risk your child sleeping in a dangerous position!!??

We got this as our preterm baby had been on nicu and apnea was one of the concerns for us whilst there. We have only been using it a week, so my review is based on limited experience so far. This device is not for everyone and whilst I highly recommend it as it gives me piece of mind the alerts could cause some to worry or be disturbed unnecessarily. The stomach roll feature I’m sure will be useful in the future, all it tells me now is if my partner hAs picked up the little one for cuddles! I haven’t had an alert for the breathing yet (except once when I had taken the device off, so the alert does work!!) which is a good sign. The temperature is not very accurate but I wasn’t expecting it to be, what it does do is allow me to track trends in my babies temperature and watch out for extremes (e.g if baby is showing hotter than normal on here it’s a good sign that he is hotter and I should look into it). You get several features compared to similar devices which gives good value for money. The app is basic but easy to use, could be improved by showing historical data to help with trends. It will drain your battery but I only use this so far at night when I am not watching constantly so the phone is plugged in. The alerts aren’t very loud, but I am waking up often anyway for the baby and I’m confident they would wake me up. I think this will be really useful for the first few months of nerves and then again when little one moves to his own room and starts being more active.
We bought this as our baby had trouble with breathing when born and needed a bit of help, and it’s something I worried about when coming home.
Not only does it alert you but knowing we can use it when baby is older for rolling over in sleep and also using for checking babies temperature especially in winter. I would highly recommend.
This takes most of the anxiety out of my evening and nightime. Is she too hot too cold, turned on her belly. It’s easy to set up and I can now make sure she’s not going to overheat. The Only shame is that you can’t link it to two phones at the same time. When that is possible I will get a new one!
With my first child I used the Tommee Tippee video and sleep monitor matt. When I got home couldn’t find the monitors anywhere and had to order something new that was reasonably priced ASAP. I don’t sleep well without a breathing monitor and, I often wake up panicking that they have stopped breathing or find myself poking them and disturbing their sleep. The difference between the sense-u and the breathing monitor matt is that this is more accurate recording breathing, temp, movement, position etc which my other didn’t and comes straight through my phone via the app. It also doesn’t have any wires meaning there is no risk of the baby getting caught and it can be taken around the house with you. The app does drain your battery so it’s worth having your phone on charge when using through the night. My phone (iPhone) did an auto update which also meant one night the app didn’t work but that’s not a fault of the product. I have recommended this to friends. I would like to buy the video to go with this but it doesn’t seem to be on sale in the uk? I haven’t had any false alarms with this one but I did with the other when using a sleep wedge, I think this is because the deceive is on the baby.
Fantastic product for the breathing monitoring, my other half changed our boys baby grow and didn’t turn the app off at 4am, I almost stopped breathing when the alarm started going off. The temperature reading is really off as it’s placement gives you room temp as a posed to body temp. All in all it is a really easy to use item and gives us great peace of mind at night. For that alone it’s worth the price.
Ordered the sense u as I’m a first time father and absolutely terrified of anything going wrong. It certainly is giving me the peace of mind to get my 2 hours sleep in between my wife feeding her and nappy changes. 100% would recommend for any worriers out there.
very easy to use by just clipping the sensor on the sleepsuit or swaddle. i have still been playing wiht the timing settings to find the most accurate that works for us. This is definitely given a piece of mind but cannot help to still wake us to check at night but more confident when the little one is sleeping.
the downside is the alert notification sound when breathing issue is detected ! it is scary and almost had a heart attack the first night we used it ! we should be able to choose to softer alert (similar to the roll on stomach one) –
This has been a fantastic purchase and is peace of mind for us. It is really easy to fit and don’t worry if you forget to put it on as you can fit without disturbing the baby. All of the section signs work well for us, but it would be good to have one for side sleeping as this is also now a risk and you are now advised not to sleep the baby on their side.
Really like this product! It is easy to assembly however you really do need to make sure that baby has tighter clothes on for an accurate reading! Will definitely recommend this product to other parents!

The sensor is good but took me a while to calibrate the alerts on my phone. One time the alert went on forever and wouldn’t turn off. Otherwise a nifty good additional product to have

Baby isn’t due till October so I had to be the test subject, and from what I could tell it work a charm, it gave me my breathing rate as well as the temperature and humidity. I continued wearing it as I rolled over and sat up it displayed in the app and sounded the alarm.
All in all the product does exactly what it says to do and the people complaining about the time the alarms take to go off, they are set at a default time in the settings just need to slide it to 15s.
I love that this attaches to my baby’s clothes and my experience is a reliable reading that is reassuring when he is asleep so I don’t have to disturb him checking that he’s ok!
Pretty easy setup and the app has been reliable so far. I’d say it’s well worth the money considering how expensive similar products are (such as the mats for cots) as I’ve had issues with them previously when baby moves too far.
I have recently purchased this monitor due to not being able to sleep probably at night as I am worrying about my baby. This monitor gives me piece of mind knowing that it will alarm if anything is wrong. The temperature on the app is also very handy while we are having a heatwave at the moment. Sense-U gave me the confidence to step away from my baby if needed, or to sleep at night, knowing that it will alarm if her respiration is too weak or too fast.
but barely used it as the baby is always with us.
Good overall product. Needs to be on rather tight clothing close to the body, as at times it moves from the body and therefore the alarms go off.

This product is great. Don’t hesitate to buy. Easier to use then a mat under the mattress as it can be moved with baby so it doesn’t matter what room you are in for reassurance. I don’t see us using this long term though probably only till baby learns to roll over in sleep and then it won’t be needed so quite expensive for short time use. Am happy though we bought it.
This is a great little device and perfect for anxious parents as it alerts you via an app so baby doesn’t need to be right next to you. I think the app needs a bit of improvement and maybe the instructions could be a little better but it’s a clever device and comfortable for baby to wea
Haven’t put it on the baby yet as it is not out yet. Tested on some teddy bear with the main function. All the functions definitely works. The design is nice and just the right size for the baby. Really looking forward to using it on my precious little one. You get more functions at this price comparing to other products which is also the reason I chose this.
We bought this as the breathing monitor we had previously bought worked based on sound and wasn’t useful for a baby in the same room as us. This works fantastically and gives us great peace of mind. It doesn’t give us any false alarms and we are amazed at the amount of features for such a small and easy to use item. Very impressed – would definitely buy all over again!
I found it extremely usefull with understanding baby’s temperature (too hot or too cold) altho’ sometimes we wondered whether the reading was accurate. The breathing indicator is really assuring, especially at night!
We accidentally got it wet, having forgotten to take it off, but it survived!
I think, based on what it does it is a bit over priced but happy to have bought it for the assurance.
Feature improvements I’d like to see:
– Data recording features (e.g. Temp vs. Time)
– Charging feature so you don’t have to change the battery (which would probably also make it waterproof)
– better phone integration: you have to open the app to get the status. A widget or phone status bar feature would be good
Handy piece of tech for peace of mind. Only critques would be: 1. Would be great to see history of data rather than just real-time 2. The alerts could override night mode on the iPhone, although I suspect that has something to do with the ioS software .
I initially gave a negative review of this product as I ordered it twice and it didn’t work either time. However Sense-U got in touch and immediately sent out a replacement which worked successfully. It’s accurate in the readings that it gives and has given me peace of mind!

Really easy to use
It’s good to have or important as you can sleep well knowing that if something happens to your baby while sleeping (temperature is high or baby not breathing well) it notify the application with an alarm on your mobile. no need to wake up checking on your baby is she is breathing or not. it also indicate the sleeping position of baby. the only thing that I do not like is that the device it is paired with must be within 50 feet of each other to work so if you are in other rooms or at another level at home it won’t detect if something is wrong.
Really useful for keeping an eye on baby, we bought for the rollover detection as baby has leant to get to stomach but tends to get stuck there so put our mind at ease. However I think the option to change the notification sound and volume would be beneficial as for some people I think the sound is a bit to soft to wake parents to an alert. Also the breathing part is a bit iffy, for it to work well it needs to be right on to baby at all times so tight fitting onesies or it will alert no breathing. As we didn’t buy for that aspect of it that didn’t really bother us, it works well for what we bought it for so overall very happy
Definitely puts my mind at ease during the night. You have to be quite specific with the positioning of the monitor. If it’s not attached to tight enough clothes then it will not pick up breathing and give lots of false alarms. This is also the case the further away your phone is from the monitor. I expected this with it being bluetooth though, so whilst its not great for evenings when baby is upstairs and I’m downstairs, it is really good for when I’m asleep and she’s next to me or in the nursery
I just bought this for my not yet born baby, I’ve tested and looks good.
You can find some different brands of these things in the market, but I chose this one for the good reviews and because seems to be the most comfortable for the baby.
Hopefully, it will give me more peace of mind once the baby arrives.
After just having my first baby, the first few nights i was very anxious at night leaving her to sleep and kept checking on her to make sure she was breathing and wasnt too hot or too cold. I then decided for peace of mind i would invest in a breathing monitor and came across the Sense-U. Not only does it monitor breathing but also temperature and also if baby rolls onto their side or front. I love how small the device is and was so easy to set up and link to my mobile. We use it every night. The only thing i will say is sometimes the alarm will go off to say no breathing was detected however i think it can be a bit temperamental due to the clothing type.

This really is an amazing piece of tech as it connects directly to your babies clothes and sends notifications on breathing, temperature and humidity directly to your phone which is great and you can check it anytime by opening the app and gives you piece of mind.

My monitor stopped working within the first week but senseU customer service was great and sent me a new one within a week, and I must admit I felt very lost without it for that week.
It does give quite a few false alarms during the night, and takes a bit of practice getting it in exactly the right position to monitor babies breathing properly. And because of this can’t quite give it 5 stars. But I would much rather have the odd false alarm and check than not know if my baby is breathing.

I bought this to use as a monitor incase my baby rolled onto her stomach whilst sleeping. It is great, I would recommend it to anyone who is a worrier like me! The first one we got stopped connecting with my iPhone but the customer support team were really quick in sending me a replacement which is working fine. You have to use a tight fitting sleepsuit for the breathing monitor to work properly otherwise it doesn’t pick up the breathing and the alarm goes off! The app uses a lot of battery on my phone so I leave it charging overnight otherwise it would drain the battery completely in a few hours. Definitely worth the money for peace of mind!
I like particularly the temperature monitor because it allows me to understand if my baby is hot or cold especially when I go out in cold weather. That is very handy as I am always worried about it. Breath rate is ok, but hard to use if not sleeping in the cot because every vibration will cause false detection, but I guess that’s intended. It works very well instead during night when she is in the cot. Overall I had a very positive experience with the product.
It’s abit too sensitive when it comes to the detecting my sons breathing.. Many of times I’ve rushed to check on my son because the Sense-U app alerted that my son had stopped breathing and he was snoring away. But other than that it’s good with temperature and tracking my sons movements. Easy to clip on and not in the way or uncomfortable for him.
Nice product. It does what it saids. You can sleep at night knowing there is something doing the baby monitoring. Sometimes it beeps off unexpectedly.
My only criticism would be that you can’t have any audible notifications. All notifications are by vibration only which can sometimes be missed at first. I think that you should have the notification option of either “Vibration”, “Audible” or “Audible & Vibration”. Maybe this could be done with and update.
Bought this for my daughter in 2018 for her first baby. It was a godsend, and so trusting it gives you peace of mind and comfort at night to sleep. Packed away after use, in 2021 opened up for a new arrival but wouldn’t work. Sense U replaced without quibble, what a fantastic company. No wonder it’s a great product. We have now also upgraded with Base and Camera. Thank you Sense U you are No.1!
It shows you baby’s body temperature,
Breathing, and if the baby rolls over in his/her sleep it alerts you immediately and if the sense-U unit detects no breathing etc.
Brilliant product that’s gave a friend piece of mind and the ability to sleep after the hospital did a dreadful job of reassuring her. Her baby had stopped breathing and turned blue. An unknown cause labelled as “BRUE” (Brief, Resolved, Unexplained, Event) Resolved… nope… can happen again till baby is heavier, was born premature. Unexplained… not good enough. Brief…. may have been under a minute of her baby not breathing but must have seemed a lifetime.
She was sent home with no reassurance at all about this matter. Dreadful bedside manner from doctors and nurses.
So this item is extremely useful and comforting to her… a big thanks to Sense U for a great product the hospital wouldn’t provide 🙂
Just clip it onto baby’s swaddle or sleeping bag like a button, we instantly got a good nights sleep, since then we use it every time when our baby sleep and it works really good. we’ve had no false alarms, which is one of the best point want to mentioned here.
the only downside on this is the user manual is a little bit simple but their customer service response it quite fast.

I couldn’t sleep in the first several days of my baby. I worried about everything and especially whether or not he was breathing. This baby monitor really made the difference as I know if anything goes wrong the alarm will wake us.
The only thing I dnot like was that the user manual is tooo simple and it can include more details. The good thing is their customer service is very helpful. They responded fast on my questions and quickly solved my questions.
