It was heavier than expected however it is the best cleaner I have had. It picks up well on wooden floors and carpet and gets into corners. The light is good too! We bought it in a sale so well worth it.
We needed a new pet hair/fur hover and a few people at work says get a shark….And we haven’t been disappointed long battery life let .. pet hair tool ..not too heavy…plenty of cleaning power…
First time I’ve had a Shark vacuum cleaner. Went for this one as it’s a lighter model. I find some far too heavy to manoeuvre but no problem at all with this one. It’s great at picking up the smallest bits. The tools that come with it are very useful. The bin capacity is smaller than the larger models but it’s so quick & easy to empty, that’s not a problem. I love the fold down handle which enables storage in an understairs cupboard. Really pleased with it.

I have a sewing machine within the house and regardless of how tidy you are there are always cottons about. This is the only machine which picks them up on a normal clean. I love it.
It’s a great product. Very powerful and effective. But the reason for writing this belated review is due to today’s interaction with a SHARK customer service representative. Adrian, I thinks his name was, actually listened to my explanation of what had gone wrong with the vacuum cleaner, and within minutes was informing me that the relevant spare part would be with me in 3-5 working days. Fantastic service, rendered with great courtesy and respect. So, if you are thinking of purchasing this particular product, but are a little unsure, I would certainly say, buy it!!
Very pleased overall its this purchase, didn’t give it 5 stars for the following reasons:
– had to get this delivered to my son in England as Amazon don’t ship this to N. Ireland? Hence extra to get it shipped from his address to N. Ireland
– graphic gives impression it comes with two batteries, however, it only comes with one.
– it is relatively heavy compared to the Dyson we currently use.

I have a Shark hoover and wanted something lighter for downstairs. (70s.) The tools are easy to access., and great for stairs. Oh boy not having to have a cord to manoeuvre around is definitely a plus.
Easy to empty the dust but be careful to do it very close to the bin or some dust will fly back out. My favourite feature is how easy it is to change the attachments, even while the vacuum is on. So I can switch from the main head to the detail head to the upholstery head in seconds.
Hair did get wrapped around the roller but this was easily remedied by cutting through the hair and pulling them out. Still functioned well even with hair stuck.
Make sure to read the instructions to properly prime the battery and to make sure you’ve sorted the guarantee through Shark.
It has actually made vacuuming fun! Recommend to all 🙂

Only took a few minutes to put together. Takes about 3 hours to charge.
Suction is amazing and works so much better than my Henry hoover. However I find that when I hoovered my rug the rug gets caught up in the rollers.
Works great on carpet and Lino floorijg. I used it on my car and do very well but I could do with a flexi hose to make it easier.. It does come with a car detailing kit with a flexi hose but not for will not work on the crevice tool and the not tool. The first time I used the pet tool on the car seat I managed to knock the dustbin off due to. It being flexible.
It says up to 60 minutes of battery life which I find hard to believe. On full power I found I’m lucky if I get 10 mins use which is very disappointing. I low power mode im guessing about 20-25 minutes. I’m not sure if the battery is faulty but this don’t seem right. I have only had this for 5 days. Overall pretty good apart from battery.
I would highly recommend purchasing a second battery as one battery can drain quite a lot if you have it on any other setting than the lowest and charging can take quite a while.
This is a great lightweight cordless vacuum but I feel the weight if the battery let’s it down a bit. A slimmer lightweight battery would be a better option in my opinion.
The main tubing, I feel, is fairly flimsy and was not expected – I’m putting this down to cheap manufacturing and then placing the ‘bend’ in the tubing which automatically creates a weak point.
There is no option to be able to hang up in storage and it will fall over if needing
left for a moment to move something – being disabled, this is the most difficult part as laying it on the floor then picking it up again is not something I can manage.
Otherwise….
On the plus side it is super disabled friendly (dare I say even child friendly with simple button to push and manoeuvre?) with how lightweight is, simple buttons for using and emptying. The suction is fantastic even on the lowest setting. Simple to change to a different tool for different jobs. It eats everything put in its way, no matter the size – it will happily eat a pile of dirt/crumbs etc as well as the odd socks found lurking under the children’s beds….. (even had a good go at one of the dog’s toys found lurking somewhere)
You can take the battery off to charge or leave it in place and charge when attached. Charge cable is a decent length and adapter is marked with the brand name so easy to decipher when amongst other cables/chargers.
Absolutely fantastic, great on hardwood floors and on carpets. Makes hovering the stairs a whole lot easie

This item is excellent having brought one just recently from opening to assembling the item to using it quick and easy instructions to follow. suction on both hard floor and carpets is excellent even with cat hairs everywhere, only have to use on eco setting on hard floors and low pile carpets. would def recommend this item.
From a professional cleaner view it beats our corded henry by far especially having two batteries as opposed to one or using power.

Very good vacuum cleaner plenty suction on the high power but that does take it out of the battery but it’s very handy being supplied with a second battery which gives plenty of operating time, all the accessories are easily and quickly changed over. The supplied accessories does not have a stair roller brush, this is something to order when purchasing if you have that need cleaned

First time using a cordless vacuum. Love how quick and easy it is to grab for just small touch ups, as well as for doing the whole floor. I only have hard floors, so can’t comment on how it vacuums on carpet, however on hard floors, I’m really happy with how it cleans. With the weight being mainly in the handle area, where the battery and bin are, it does feel a little heavy in the arm by the time I’m finished. My last vacuum was a corded Dyson, so comparing to that, this is much lighter!! It’s not overly noisy and one battery is enough for a two bedroom apartment. Glad I went for the cordless after humming and hawing over the last couple of years!
It’s light and easy to use and battery lasts quite a long time. Great design . Easy to get around to all of the house because there is no mains lead to carry around.
You need to invest in the small powered head for stairs otherwise
Less cumbersome than corded dyson but still could be a little lighter in weight. Run time is decent to good, but could be improved especially when on high suction (having 2 batteries helped). Cleaning/ dust pickup is good. Overall a good buy.

Good battery life yet the 2nd battery is a must to do a thorough clean of a medium – large house. LED indicators are simple and controld work well. Dust bin is much easier to empty and can be removed from the device entirely for cleaning. Anti-hair wrap is by far the best improvement over previous models but somehow the overall build quality feels slightly cheap and not as sturdy. The central folding mechanism is fit for purpose but joins between each part of the device feel as is there is constant movement when in use. Would highly recommended however dubious to see how long it lasts with daily use.
Fantastic at picking up hair, we have a main coon cat and our Dyson animal couldn’t pick up what the Shark does effortlessly. Would have liked a couple of more accessories included however these are available separately at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend this product.

I was surprised at how good this product works. The extension with the 2 rollers really takes the dirt from the floor (it even took some rubber from a toy o the way! ). The hair is smashed and cut by one of the rollers so you don’t need to take care of it.
Also, the suction power is high. It may be a bit misleading as the carpet and rugs cleaning rely on the rollers ( the suction power is strong behind the rollers and not external) but it does the trick far better than the conventional vacuum cleaner based on suction only. With the other accessories you can feel the entire strength of the suction.
Overall, I believe the product is better than a Dyson cleaner and is at a better price for the consumer.

The suction power of this hoover is amazing! It’s like it actually wants to hoover for you, glides along carpet and hard floors perfectly. The handheld options make it great for stairs, and the flexology part of the stick itself means it’s great and getting under things like tables and chairs. Without a doubt the best hoover we have ever owned!
We usually buy Dyson. We’ve had 3!! Not any more!! Get this on a good Amazon deal and you won’t regret it. (My wife liked it better than the drill I bought her for her last birthday!) Great but of kit!!

Decided to go for a cordless cleaner this time. So far it has been easy to use and easy to empty. Had a Hoover last time and it was poor and not easy to use, won’t bother with them again.

Purchased the model that came with a Pet Tool but received the model *without*. Getting past amazons bot chat is a painful experience so i have decided to just purchase the Pet Tool.
Love this shark vac. Suction is amazing and no clogged brushes with the anti hair wrap technology. Great for all surfaces and stairs, the battery is long lasting too.
This feels like a quality vacuum but with all the benefits of bring cordless. The battery display is a great advantage as you always know how much charge is still available for use.

Just love this vac. Easy to assemble and use. Nice and lightweight. The boost button is a great bonus although it eats up the battery life quick. I always make sure to charge before next use if it’s running low.
Excellent cordless vacuum, but developed a fault. Currently being replaced by Shark directly, will update if any problems in future. The motor ran roughly and then cut out after about a month.

Great up right re chargable hoover, very hand with no cable and shorten hand held. only down side it loses its charge quite quickly.
But overall great to have

Happy overall, wish battery performance was a bit better. Mind it battery performance is not that bad but I imagine it will degrade over time and then full charge may not provide enough coverage. Good suction and excellent ergonomic design makes the house chores that much less painful though.

Tried another brand before this wouldn’t suck up battery power not as good, would definitely recommend this model.
I keep this vacuum upstairs so I don’t have to carry up my heavy upright. It works very well on carpets including carpeted stairs. I don’t really use it on hard floors. A single full battery is fine for a thorough vacuum of 4 bedrooms and stairs on medium power but you need both batteries if you use the booster speed. The flexible wand is great being able to go under furniture without going down on your hands and knees.
The flexibility of the floor head on the wand – it wanders around a bit- takes a bit of getting used to after a traditional upright. It’s relatively easy to change the heads once you’ve worked out which buttons to press. You have to remember to switch it off if you’re moving furniture to preserve the battery.
At around 4 Kg it’s not particularly light.
Really like this Shark so far. It seems to work really well and the suction seems fine. Like how it goes from hard floor to carpet with a touch of a button! Love how small it folds making it easy to store. Really glad I bought it!

It does what it says, although I find it a bit heavy for me as I have arthritis in my hands. It is a bit fiddlely having to fold down the top when not in use. It does not stand on its own unless you fold it down. It comes with tools in a little bag and has 2 batteries that charge so does last a good while before they run out, easy to charge up also. Delivery was quick.

It does run out of power quite quickly when it’s on full power. Highest suction level. But a good hoover. It’s cleaned my car well. But ran out after half an hour of battery. It does say an hour. I don’t have carpets on a few very flat rugs. But hoovers well. Very easy to manoeuvre
I have 2 dogs and it picks up hair brilliantly i have a injured leg and was finding it hard to use the xorded hoover i had so decided to buy a shark and its not dissapointed hope its reliability is matched by its design and suction power wow as good as any corded hoover.

Had this for around a month and so far it’s been brilliant. Far better made than I thought it would be too.
Excellent suction, good for dog hair. Can’t fault it really. Dust container is not huge but it’s sufficient for our house. Battery charge will also do the whole house provided it’s not on ‘mega suction’ mode.

To store it, rather than having to put a bracket up like the Dyson, this one folds in half and stands up on its own. Battery life is good and it cleans my entire house on one charge.
Basically, this is a very good machine and I like it. If you want a cordless stick vacuum cleaner, I’d say get this one.
