Having recently purchased this cleaners “big brother”, model IZSW320UKT which is a brilliant cordless vacuum cleaner, it is was as we expected quite heavy especially for “old-ens” like us. But if you want a power unit you must accept this! This model is simply brilliant. After years of purchasing various quite inadequate cordless cleaners from another well advertised UK based supplier, this cleaner leaves these standing. Excellent package overall, spare battery is a real bonus. Highly recommended. One very minor issue is the fact that the waste release button is far to near the on/off switch. However after a few errors one soon learns to be very careful here.
I’ve had this 6 months now and it is one of the best purchases I’ve made! I suffer with joint pain and needed a lightweight hoover and this is perfect, there is some weight to it depending which adjustments are on it but it’s manageable and much better than a regular hoover. It’s charging dock is so sleek looking it is a really nice addition to the house! It’s battery when fully charged is brilliant and it suction is amazing no spitting out dirt! Love the add ons and I can’t recommend this enough!

Very lightweight I can hoover my whole house in no time it’s only a 2 bed bungalow. Even does the hard bristle doormat. Quite pleased with it.
Works grea
Feels heavier and sturdier than the Dyson V7 I had before. A bit less ergonomic and harder to use as a result, but also feels more powerful. Normal mode is comparable to max mode on the V7. Makes the Dyson feel like a toy in comparison! I’d say get the V7 for ease of use, and the Wandvac for the performance of a larger vacuum in a miniature size.
Pros: Good suction, even though they don’t know it’s power (I contacted Shark and they couldn’t give me an answer so weird). Hair wrap, is actually true!! I have long black hair, and it didn’t rotate at all on the brush, it was my first test, I was expecting it to fail, and was wildly surprised. The small motored brush is super handy and useful as well, all accessories are brilliant.
Cons: no light on the main unit, surprised by that. It’s rather heavier than expected and can get really hot while in use and/or charging. The charging base holds ONE accessory and not all three. Not sure why it was built like that, but and as many are saying, it doesn’t stand upright, that’s due to the fact that it’s top heavy.
I’d give it a 4.5 star rating, definitely not a 5, it’s a good tool for a 2-bedroom flat, wouldn’t have it as a main vacuum for a larger flat or house.

The only thing I don’t like is the small capacity dust collector, apart from that its great for pet hairs and general small tasks and of course the Car.

Perfect for light work
Okay, so if you are looking for something for pet hair, this isn’t the hoover for you, invest a little more for a duo clean shark. If you only want something to run quickly over the floor or pick up after kids spills then this is perfect for you. I broke my duo clean- well kids did sitting on it folded up, but I only used it on upstairs carpets as all downstairs laminated. This hoover is perfect for me as I don’t have pets and literally just run it over the floors before mopping and it’s lightweight to. Few little design faults like the empty button for bag right under power button but soon get used to you after you’ve made a mess a few times ha ha! It’s fab that the top bit comes off to use as hand held bit, it is more powerful when you are just using this bit instead of the full hoover bit. Charging plate is brilliant, just sits in there out the way until ready to use.

It’s great, easy to use, battery keeps its charge quite well. Easy to empty. This is especially good if you have issues with your back as it’s great at manoeuvring around and under furniture. I’m delighted with this product.

PLEASE NOTE: I know that we all have different needs and wants, so first a quick explainer of what I personally wanted a new cordless vacuum cleaner for. In my case this is to use for a quick clean-up in between the more-thorough cleaning – you might call it “spot cleaning” or “a quick once-over”. I have a large mains-powered vacuum that I use for deep-cleaning, and this Shark is intended to avoid using the heavier cleaner beyond that.
Having owned an AEG cordless until the battery on that gave up the ghost, I have to say that I’m finding this Shark WandVac most impressive in comparison. It has a charge stand so that it too can stand independently without fear of it falling over, for a start. In use it seems efficient too, with the “boost” button providing a handy … er, boost when it is needed.
The Pet version comes with a large floor motorised head that works well, plus a handy smaller motorised head which fits onto the handheld part too, and that is great for upholstery. Together with the crevice tool and the “multi-surface tool” there’s everything that I am going to need for this vac. Okay so the dust collection bin IS small – but I’ve not found that to be a problem, emptying it (which is very easy BTW) after every time I use it. Neither has the short run-time been problematic because as I have said, this FOR ME is used for in-between regular cleaning. In fact so far I haven’t been near running out of charge. I bought the 2-battery version which, if you want longer than 15 minutes, will give you more time and it’s really easy to swap batteries too.
The instructions are clear and it seems very straightforward to care for those parts which need maintenance, and the Shark website is easy to use for registering the guarantee – which it says upon registering is two years for batteries and 5 years for the machine.
If it does indeed last that long I will be very happy, because so far it is absolutely perfect for what I want it to do.
I wish I’d bought one years ago.

It is very small, only about a foot long, with all the attachments it’s about 3 feet long
It’s extremely portable, it’s definitely the best hand held vacuum I’ve ever had

Battery life is good considering the size, it’s doesn’t last for a long time but it’s physically very small, you couldn’t put a bigger battery in it
My only criticism is the release button to empty it is at the front, and a few times when I first started using it I accidentally pressed it thinking it was a release switch for the attachments

Great lightweight, perfect for stairs, empty after each room otherwise it will not perform very well , battery lasts about 22 minutes on full charge Really easy to use. I love it and my parents have one now too.

– The hoover arrived in a really smart looking box with the handle, stem and head apart, a crevice tool, a
wider tool, charging base, cable and 2 battery packs.
– One thing I must mention is the packaging. This deserves 5 stars itself! Every single bit of the
packaging is recyclable! No plastic whatsoever! I was highly impressed!
– As with all Shark hoovers, this one was easy to clip together and be ready to use!
– Quality wise, it all feels very robust and of an excellent quality! Being robust but also lightweight!
– The charging base is easy to use and easy to clip the hoover on to. It just sits on the floor and is a bit
weighted to hold the hoover properly. There is also a charging point for the secondary battery as well!
– What I love about the base is that when the hoover is clipped on, it charges the battery in the hoover, as
soon as it’s done charging (which isn’t long), it then cuts that off and starts charging the battery in the
other charging compartment! There are indication lights on either bit to let you know as well!
– The cable is nice and long so you can plug it in most places!
– Suction power wise, it’s excellent! This hoover does a marvellous job at keeping the place clean!
– The container where the dust and everything is sucked in to is very small and needs emptying regularly.
– It can be difficult to tell which button to press to disconnect the stem and head from the handle, and
you sometimes end up with dust all over the floor where you’ve hit the release button for that
chamber.
– The battery lasts just over 30mins as advertised, and it’s easy to unclip the one in the handle, slide it
out, and replace it with the charged one from the base.
– The colour is excellent and looks very smart!
– It’s nice and compact.
Honestly, for the price, it is worth every penny! A typically brilliant Shark hoover that knocks Dyson out of the park! 100% would recommend this!

I actually purchased mine at Costco and saved about 70, however thought I’d write a quick review on this Shark product. It’s lightweight, simple and I was so surprised at how powerful this little thing is! We now don’t bother using the main vacuum, we actually just use this all the time, it’s so handy when you’ve got cats with litter, quickly cleaning the car, no job is too big for this little mighty shark!

Lightweight and a lot of powe
We had heard really good thing about Shark cordless vacuums before getting one, and haven’t been disappointed. It’s light, so especially good for using on stairs; given its small size and lack of weight, it’s also surprisingly powerful and a full charge is more then enough to go round our entire house. We are very pleased with it.

Shark WandVac System
The thing that most attracted to me having this particular vac, other than the reputable Shark brand, was the anti hair-wrap technology given my wife’s propensity to leave her hair around the house.
The vac is lightweight, which is key for the cordless ones in my opinion otherwise the stairs are an exhausting nightmare. Suffice to say with this vac, they are fine. The Shark is quick to charge, easy to port and store, and a really aesthetic colour in the rose gold.
The limitation of the wattage power of vacs has affected the technology behind suction for some brands but I find this works perfectly well. The anti-hair part works as described which is a boon. The reservoir for dust/debris is small and needs frequent emptying, but that is not uncommon with this form and format of vac so I’m not going to mark it down.
All in all I feel this is an aesthetic, ergonomic, and effective piece of home technology supported by the weight of the quality of the Shark brand.

Amazing and worth i
So well worth it for everything. Super powerful super renter friendly but so easy to clean. I have an animal with very fine hair and the attachments scoop it up so quickly and efficiently. My flat is spotless

Good suction and so easy to grab. Love that I can do the entire floor properly without bending over with it like a regular hoover and also quickly make it into a nozzle hand held too.. I use it every day. Battery lasts ages and it’s very easy to empty
