The thing that most attracted to me having this particular vac, other than the reputable Shark brand, was the anti hair-wrap technology given my wife’s propensity to leave her hair around the house.

The vac is lightweight, which is key for the cordless ones in my opinion otherwise the stairs are an exhausting nightmare. Suffice to say with this vac, they are fine. The Shark is quick to charge, easy to port and store, and a really aesthetic colour in the rose gold.

The limitation of the wattage power of vacs has affected the technology behind suction for some brands but I find this works perfectly well. The anti-hair part works as described which is a boon. The reservoir for dust/debris is small and needs frequent emptying, but that is not uncommon with this form and format of vac so I’m not going to mark it down.

All in all I feel this is an aesthetic, ergonomic, and effective piece of home technology supported by the weight of the quality of the Shark brand.

In order to provide a concise but informative review, I spent about a month using this vacuum at least 2-3 times per week. It impressed me at times but made me slightly disappointed at other times. Overall though, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something very small, convenient, versatile, and reliable.

    What I liked:
    – Suction power: I wouldn’t say it matches my Shark corded vacuum, but the suction power is amazing and just leaves me happy whenever I vacuum as I don’t need to hoover the same place twice.
    – Portability: This is a compact vacuum. I mean it is the same size of other cordless vacuums I tried but once I use the handle only, I really feel how compact it is.
    – Convenience: I have like 4 vacuum cleaners around the house. What annoys me most of the time is placement. Some of them came with a wall handle that requires drilling but I decided against that. I was very happy to have this coming with a charging station where the other heads are also placed. It just made my life easier and made me store the head properly and conveniently. The station also means that the vacuum is always charged and ready to be used, you can’t imagine how many times I needed a vacuum and ended up not finding a charged one, so this is definitely a plus.

    What I didn’t like:
    – Battery life: Like most vacuums, cordless ones are inconvenient with regards to battery durability. This one is no difference. I usually like to do vacuuming days where I clean the whole house but with this short battery life span, it is not feasible. You can get an extra battery but that’s a hassle to change if you ask me.
    – Dust container size: You guessed it, it is small. I find myself emptying this vacuum more frequently than other ones. I wish it had a bigger compartment.

    Verdict:
It does the job, it is meant to be compact, it is a good lightweight solution, and therefore worth it.

Really great design… Dust capacity not large and have to empty a lot… But this is a plus as it makes all the dirt and dust very compact so filter doesn’t get so blocked and dirty. Really impressed.

like the small part for dust and dirt and easy to empty everytime used.

Good suction and so easy to grab. Love that I can do the entire floor properly without bending over with it like a regular hoover and also quickly make it into a nozzle hand held too.. I use it every day. Battery lasts ages and it’s very easy to empty

Love the swivel head, ease of travel, simple to separate wand. Constantly available extra battery, sufficient for my bungalow – excellent WandVac. Very easy to empty. Might have to buy second filter only drawback is drying it out takes a while.

I was surprised by how good this cordless Shark is. I’d heard great things about them, but my previous experience with cordless vacuums hasn’t been great, however I needed a new vacuum and I’m so glad I chose this one.

    The Good:
    — It picks up brilliantly – dog, human and cat hair – without pulling mats up from hard floors.
    — The anti wrap thing is amazing, meaning the brush bar never gets tangled.
    — It works really well on carpets.
    — It’s compact, lightweight and very easy to use.
    — The design is brilliant, making it super easy to change the battery, change the nozzles and empty the bin.
    — It has two batteries, so you can charge one while using the other.
    — I’ve found the battery life pretty good, usually over 30 mins, long enough to tackle the whole house.
    — I love that you can charge it both on the base and without it if you’re pressed for space.
    — It has a good selection of tools to handle a variety of surfaces, and they’re very easy to swap about.

    The Less Good:
    — The bin is pretty small, so in a house with two long-haired people, a cat and three dogs I do have to empty it multiple times as I go along.
    — It’s much better on carpet than hard floors, which since I have a mix of both can be annoying (but I can always use a broom, so not a deal breaker).
    — It is top heavy, so can’t stand unaided, but you can either use the base or prop it up, so again, annoying but not too terrible.

    The Bad:
    — Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say, except that perhaps a 3.5 hour recharging time is a little much, especially when the batteries don’t hold their charge for too long, but that’s a current tech issue more than this particular model. It does the best with what it has.

Overall, I’m delighted with this. It’s probably best suited to a small house or flat, or somewhere without so many hairy inhabitants, but nevertheless it tackles my three bedroom house with acceptable aplomb.

I have had to wait and really see that this truly give me my desired performance before I write anything on it.

But based on my personal experience, I have come to say the trial of this device will convince you that it is not waste of money but a brilliant tools for every household.

The design is stylish and appealing. Operationally this is awesome tools and I am so pleased with it. The battery life is exellelent as it stays longer enough just as expected as you have a are battery which means that while one in use, the other one is in charge, that means you Will never run out of battery.
The rate of picking is absolutely awesome and I am so pleased with it.
Above all, I will say this amazing tools for all household use.

I also like the different heads accessories that come with for different purposes around the house easy to change the heads, simple to use , the inly thing is that the battery life is not that long is not enough for one battery to finish the entire house but id charging pretty quick so this is good ,easy to clean the vacuum cleaner after. definitely recommend

This vacuum is perfect. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Shark, to be honest. First off, two batteries are included, so there’s no need to worry about not having enough battery to vacuum the house. This was probably one of my worries about switching to a battery-powered vacuum. Another great thing is that the head will not get tangles in hairs, so it’s perfect for homes with pets. It comes with a stand to keep the vacuum on when not in use, and while it’s charging, which is very nice; also acts as a display for your fancy vacuum. The vacuum also has different modes, and you detach the long part, to make it more handheld in a sense. It allows you to get to more restricted areas of the house, without needing to awkwardly use it. It’s also super easy to empty. Very powerful yet portable and lightweight vacuum!

First impressions of this were great, it comes in a big branded box and looks really impressive. I must admit I’ve been wanting something like this from Shark ever since I started following Mrs Hinch and seeing her clean around her home with her handheld one. This one seems to be a better version of that in my opinion. It has the handheld element that you can easily use around the house but it can also be clipped onto the main part to create a proper stick vacuum. Both ways of using it work brilliantly, I was shocked at how well the stick hoovered our upstairs carpet which is usually a nightmare to clean. I also love how it’s mains powered so you just charge it on the included base and it’s always ready to use.

Overall I’ve been really pleased with this and I’d definitely recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars from me!

    It’s brilliant!

Perfect for my mum’s flat with hard floors and a rug. She had a very messy puppy and it clears the rug and floors in minutes. So easy to use and empty. Very powerful with a useful boost suction. Highly recommend. Best Buy for ages!

It has excellent design, so easy to use and manoeuvre around the house. Very decent suction and picks up most of the dirt, dust and dog hairs effortlessly.

Very, very impressed with the suction. In our house we have a child and two dogs, carpet and laminate flooring, the anti-hair wrap even handles my partner’s very long hair with no issues at all. Hair does not get trapped in it.

Lightweight, easy to carry up a flight of stairs. Good battery life for cleaning my 3 bed house from top to bottom. Easy to empty and clean and folds down for storage neatly.

When detached the handheld part works really well with the atacments to get to the higher hard to reach places. The way all the parts unclip is so clever, and recharging is easy-peasy. It is ideal and cleans exceptionally well. Did not realise just how poor my previous vacuum cleaner was.

Only gripe is that the capacity is bit small and when emptying you need to take out the dirt and dust with your hands as it gets stuck otherwise.

Overall A massive thumbs up to Shark for this brilliant gadget!

Best vacuum I’ve ever bought. I thought my carpets were clean. [Narrator: they were not.] Only real issue is that it will tip over if you leave it standing by itself. But that’s why it comes with a base to put it on. Oh, and empty the bin every time you use it, so you too can be amazed by the amount of dirt it’s lifted.

This little vacuum has some serious suction power for its size. It’s perfect for hard surfaces and does a pretty good job on carpets but does struggle on thicker carpets. I have a rug that the brushes stop working on every time, it’s not a particularly thick rug either. So I’m not sure why it struggles on it. There’s two brush bars on this little unit and the anti-tangle feature works brilliantly. I have a larger shark vacuum that I use for all the main jobs, but as a daily quick vacuum it’s perfect. It’s also great for stairs and I give it to my 10 year old when he wants to help around the house and he has no issues with it. It’s super easy to empty out when needed but as my larger one has a button you push down I sometimes forget that this is the button to empty it on this one and end up with dust all over the floor.
You get loads of accessories with this as you do with other shark hoovers and the charging unit is well built and holds the vacuum perfectly.
Overall I’m very impressed with this little vacuum, and when I get a moment I’ll do a video review as well.

Overall am super pleased with this and glad I gave it a try. Have had a Shark standard upright previously which was amazing all round and brilliant for the dog hair especially but wasn’t sure this cordless one would be as good, but actually it’s really impressive with great suction and gets up the dog hair very easily and effectively. It’s pretty lightweight too so much easier than a larger standard upright and is really easy to glide around quickly. Which is the only point that I’d very slightly crisize in terms of run time, but to offset you get two batteries which is great as you keep the other on the charger and just switch them over when needed, so even the runtime isn;t actually an issue. Great value for a decent upright like this from Shark too so would definitely recommend.

The vacuum is lightweight and practical to use and both the vacuum and the charging dock doesn’t occupy much area.

The charging dock is very easy and quick to install and it does not need any drilling, which is a big plus for renters that are usually not allowed to drill into walls and floors.

It comes with two batteries, one stays on the vacuum itself and is charged while the vacuum is stored while the other remains on a dedicated charger, and ready to use, in the dock. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the battery usage time, as I use the vacuum for small and quick jobs and so far I’ve never ran out of battery. The vacuum has a LED sign that will show how much battery is still remaining.

The vacuum does a really good job with crumbles, dust and hairs. Also great to clean the inside of a car and stairs. It’s not great with long hair carpets/rugs as the head of the vacuum gets tangled in the long/shaggy hair of the carpet/rug.

It has a booster mode very easy to use, just by pressing a button in the back of the handle, and is quite strong.

All the parts of the vacuum are easy to disconnect and switch between accessories. The Crevice Tool has a little place to be hold in the dock, which I find quite handy.

The dust cup is not very practical to empty even though even though it’s just pressing a button and the cup opens. The problem is that the cup is on the back of the handle and it opens facing the floor, so when you open the cup you will need to be immediately above a container/bin. I get the idea behind it, unfortunately it’s just not very practical and is really prone to accidents considering how dangerously close it is to the on/off button.

Outside of the dock, if left alone, the vacuum doesn’t stand on its own in one place, it needs to be placed against something to not fall into the floor.

Handle wise, I don’t find it very comfortable of ergonomic to use so the design could definitely be improved.

Instructions are quite clear, straightforward and easy to read.

    PROS:
    – Lightweight
    – Vacuums well
    – Has booster mode
    – Very practical to use
    – Charging dose is easy to set up (no drilling required)
    – Can reach difficult spots in the walls/ceiling or behind cupboards
    – Doesn’t occupy much space
    – Several heads/accessories to use
    – Comes with a secondary battery
    – Easy to switch the accessories

    CONS:
    – Not the most ergonomic to hold in the hand
    – Not good with long/shaggy hair carpets or rugs
    – On/Off button too close to the dust cup button
    – Vacuum doesn’t stand on its own

Overall, the pros vastly outshine the cons in this vacuum. For me it has become a great gadget in our home and has made some cleaning tasks much easier. I am very pleased with this Shark Vacuum and I can happily recommend it.

I ordered this Shark WandVac cordless vacuum cleaner as my Nan is struggling with the weight of her Dyson hoover.

Arrived in a branded cardboard box.

Great looking Hoover, slimline and light. Comes with a charging base that it sits on so Hoover is always fully charged.

Anti-Hair wrap floor head is perfect it you have pets, hairs don’t tangle around brushes. Very easy to fix attachments and changes uses of this Hoover, very good for cleaning up table mess, floor mess and also using wand to get all out of reach cobwebs.

Very short battery charge, last only 15mins. Suction is good but not over powerful, my Nan can fully operate this Hoover on wooden flooring and piled carpets.

Hoover is solid, there is no flexible vacuum pipe to twist and get to difficult to reach areas. This is a solid fixed design to provide quick and easy floor and hand held vacuum solutions.

Overall, if you are struggling to use you heavy hoover this is the solution for you as long as you are happy with 15mins of battery life.

    I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove my shark. I have RA so a lightweight hover is a must for me and this is perfect weight. Nothing to complain about its great, lightweight, easy to manoeuvre in a small house. Cleans under beds with ease. I’ve got laminate but picks up off rugs. Easy to put together.

This Hoover was easy to assemble and charge. It’s super lightweight but only has a short time to use before it needs recharging, however I knew this and I only have a small house

Quality vacuum cleaner, perfect size for my small flat. Battery life lasts about 20 mins but charges up easy, collects dust and dirt with ease. only down side is the dirt compartment is very small

Great docking station for quick charge of battery. It lives up to all its promises and is light, manouverable, easy to store and takes up very little space. The rsesults are gratifyinglly more than satisfactory

I would recommend this vacuum to all as it does everything it says.

Wow! Wow! Wow! If you need a lightweight hoover that actually works then this is the one for you! I am so happy with this hoover I actually prefer it to the Henry! This hoover gets about 15 mins per battery and seeing as you get two batteries I can pretty much get the whole house done on both batteries, or leave one charging while I do one part of the house. It comes apart to focus on different parts of the house, for example, stairs and skirting boards or the sofa!
It has a button to press for a stronger suction which I find helpful but it does drain the battery by about 50% it stands well on its docking station for charging without taking up much space. It doesn’t stand on its own so when it’s not charging I prop it up against the wall though. The part that collects the dust isn’t big, bit good enough for one or two uses and is easy enough to clean and empty once it’s been used. Overall I am overjoyed to review this and will keep using it!

    Very happy with this hoover!

The Shark surprised me – it’s really light and yet very powerful. It comes with 2 batteries, so you’re never without charge, the charging base and the hoover itself are super sleek and for a small hoover it packs a lot of power! It seems just as effective on rugs, wood and tiles – and I love how easily it detaches to form a handheld vacuum. Anti Hair Wrap Technology — The floor tool and pet tool come with Sharks Anti Hair Wrap Technology a bristle-guard and comb actively remove hair from the brush-roll as you clean, helping to keep it free of tangles. Perfect for long, short and pet hair and I have to say that it mostly works.

We’re very much into technology and have bought and tried many vacuums in our lifetime.
This lightweight Shark is just what I was looking for to manage our newly laid thick puled carpet. Our current handheld Dyson found it difficult to manoeuvre over this carpet and was very difficult to push.

This pet-friendly Shark makes light task (literally and metaphorically) of the fur from our longhaired rescue Ragdoll cat. It’s also a breeze with long human hairs which don’t entangle around the rotating brush-head which is a huge improvement compared to other models we’ve used and something they boast about – quite rightly.

This Shark comprises of three tools:
    * The standard floor motorised brush-head
    * A crevice tool
    * A bristle brush nozzle tool

+ A detachable and multifunctional wand which can fit on either of the three afore mentioned tools.

Unlike others, this vacuum does not come with a motorised handheld tool or a flat headed hand tool.

    Now here’s the niggles:

    * The inner dustpan is about the size of a cardboard cast-off from a toilet roll. It’s surprisingly small!

    * Also, charging in anything but the full upright mode is made difficult by the base station which is designed exclusively for upright vacuum charging. So, if you tend to use this unit as a handheld machine, by removing the extended motorised upright head, then you would fund you need to reconfigure the unit each time you want to charge.
The workaround to this, is that you toss the base station and plug the power adaptor lead directly into the vacuum to charge in handheld position.

It holds 16 minutes of charge and 8 minutes if used in boost mode.

If you consider this lightweight cordless as a first-world equivalent to a dustpan and brush, you pretty much hit the nail on the mechanised head.

It took me 10 minutes the first time to sweep my entire landing, which isn’t small. Plus, it’s quite a thick pile as mentioned above. The machine holds about 17 minutes of charge, though I didn’t feel a palpable difference in the battery nor any dwindling after that time.

If you empty the dustpan after each use, just as you would a dustpan and brush then it’s always ready for the next use and it never really gets full unless you’re cleaning up a huge mess, such as a box of breakfast cereal.

    It’s super simple to empty:
You simply hold it over a bin (I use our tiny little bathroom bin) and press the detach button. the lower end of the dustpan pops out and empties its contents. There is a little bit of dust collection around the walnut sized steel filter within the dustpan chamber. I just user a pincer action and pull the tuft of dust away.
It’s then ready for it’s next use.

I leave the Shark on charge all the time. It’s supplied with it’s own base station which is the size of a pizza box. its a matt black and not very attractive. This is something you might want to bear in mind, as the base station is a bit on an eyesore.

There is no doubt this is sleek looking stylish vacuum, that weighs next to nothing making it suitable for those that can’t lift a heavy weight. it’s also incredibly easy to push over our deep pile carper, it simply glides over. There are areas of ingrained fur, where the cat has napped and “bathed” herself which take a few extra glides of the Shark to move the debris.

The other downside is that the ‘on/off’ button is directly above the ‘dustpan release’ button. When i’m not paying attention, I do occasionally press the dustpan button. But luckily, as the vacuum is emptied in our little bathroom bin after each use, it always happens to be empty, sparing my feet of a small toilet roll cast-off-shaped cluster of dust.

On the plus side, our six year finds this Shark a breeze to use. In fact, she prefers it to her toy Dyson upright vacuum. She say’s, “its alot to push and it actually cleans her room. Not just pretends”.

4 stars – But as you can tell from the reviews on both sides of the spectrum – you either love it, or you hate it. Only proceed if you need a lightweight unit, a tiny dustpan, something only for sporadic use (or to clean a small area), with minimal charge and with the occasional misfire of dustpan ejection!

We kind of like it. Hope this was useful, happy to answer questions.

Shark which doesn’t bite, however do suck up a lot of dust and dirt around your house. This is my second hoover from this brand, I also owned a Shark Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner which was too big to use it in my small apartment, so I’ve given it away as a donation. This WandVac model is much more convenient for me, has enough suction power and taking less space so it’s easier to store. Not to mentioned that great in price.

Arrived in a very well-presented box, I like when a company pays attention on small details and they design a visually appealing packaging, it gives you the feeling that this will be a great item even before you see what’s inside. Each item in the box were individually wrapped in a paper bag and separated with paper cradles to protect from any damage or scratches during the shipping. For me, who care about the environment this is absolutely an extra brownie point for Shark, using paper begs instead of plastic begs is much more echo friendly.
The feel, look and built quality of this vacuum is superb, it feels like a premium product. Theis Gold colour version is definitely winner for me it is modern end elegant at the same time, but they offer grey and purple coloured product as well. It’s super lightweight if you just using it as a handheld small vacuum without the extension and the floorhead attachment, but even if you use it as an upright vacuum, it’s just about 2-3 kilogram in total. Using just a head part is great for quick everyday use, to clean up small area. I think this is the best way to use this as the dust cup is pretty small so this vacuum is not designed to clean your whole house in one g (unless you are ok to empty the cup multiple times). The attachment and the floorhead works great too. It doesn’t lose a suction power by using attachments, and I’m super impressed how effective is the head to clean up hair and dog fur from the carpet or the floor. It can be a lifesaver for pet owners.
One of the selling points here is that this one is a cordless vacuum. No need to be plugged in so it gives a lot more freedom and ability to use at more problematic areas such like in the. I’ve not found any information regarding the battery size and capacity, however taking into consideration the size and the weight of this vacuum, it is probably small. The vacuum works around 12-14 minutes with one go from full charge. Not a long time but as I said this one is not a full-sized vacuum, so it comes with some compromise.

All in all, Shark is a good choice, perfect for homes with pets, for small offices and even for cleaning your car. Not the cheapest that’s for sure but it worth to pay the price in my opinion for a high quality, versatile and powerful vacuum cleaner.

This is very pretty looking cordless vaccum cleaner.
Having different brand cordless vaccum makes me feel that I want to compare them two -the Shark with Vax Blade 4 pet haccum.

Sharks is much lighter, especially the handle part. Shark has long and narrow battery which hides within the handle. Dust compartment is also much smaller then Vax. Filter is much smaller too.

Vax easily picks up hair from carpet and wraps up around the brush. If not cleaned often, the brush is not collecting as much of dirt than should. As far I’ve used Shark, it didn’t get any hair from my girls bedroom carpet wrapped up on vaccums brush so that’s a big bonus (at least don’t need to clean that so often like in Vax). When emptied the Shark dust container I saw some hair there so it actually collects them as well as dust and whatever found on the way..

Shark easier splits apart after pressing release button in comparison with Vax where force need to be added. The nozzles and the pole easily goes out of the position.

My Vax has a light option when using the brushes when vacuuming. It also has extra power button. Sharks doesn’t have the light. It has the extra power (Boost) button placed underneath the handle (rubber part underneath the index finger when holding it). This vaccum has basically one button operation plus booster mode which actually is not much different (Vax has 3 vaccuming modes).

Shark has heavy floor nozzle which works well with anti-hair wrap technology brushes. There is access to open the brush place if needs cleaning.
This floor nozzle can support the mid pole of the vaccum but will not hold the whole vaccum upright (standing on its own) due to the total weight of the handle (battery and dust bin included within it).

Vaccum comes also with slimmer nozzle and small brush nozzle.

The battery charges within 3.5 hours and that’s correct. I had to charge it on arrival. After quick vacuuming two rooms one battery level went down..and this vaccum doesn’t have the extra light which uses the battery.. I didn’t even use the extra boost button..
Speaking of charging option.. Shark comes with new to me charging base which also works as stand for the vaccum. This could work if we have enough space in the corner or storage place with a wall socket nearby.
I didn’t fully inserted it into the base yet because for now I will use the battery charger without the base.

I do like this vaccum just because is lighter when reaching top ceiling or doing the staircase. The heavy floor nozzle sits well on any type of flooring and helps to manoeuvre the vaccum easier (handle is lightweight, doesn’t make wrist more tired).

I decided to give it 4 stars for now.. Still getting used to it though.. Happens that I mistakenly opened the dust container when tried to remove the pole to use different attachment.. I’m sure I’ll get used to it..

    Good vaccum

This hoover is great. Genuinely. Because I’ve been so pleased reviewing it, I’ll start of with the negatives, as there are very few, and I don’t want them to sour an otherwise glowing opinion.

The first is trivial. It’s aesthetics, and personal taste. I wish that rose gold didn’t exist on this planet, and I certainly would never choose to have my toaster, kettle, TV OR hoover coloured like it. However, this was the only colour available to review, and so we (my partner says she also hates it) decided to give it a go anyway.
Secondly, and what I guess most people will argue against handheld battery vacuums. Suction. Ordinarily I use a Dyson DC25 Animal, and there’s no way that this Shark takes up the same volume of dirt – even visibly, much less the stuff that lurks in the fibres of your carpets.

With that aside, I want to explain why I think I am a total convert. The main point is simple. We haven’t used the Dyson since this arrived. Not once.
From the very beginning I was impressed. When you open the packaging you can actually see the level of effort that Shark have gone to to make this ecologically presented. There are ZERO plastic bags, polystyrene moulds, or cable ties. Everything is made of what appears to be fully recyclable materials. Even the way everything gets crammed into the box to make the footprint size of the package smaller is impressive. I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to see a manufacturer who’d actually tried to think about their impact environmentally. So a HUGE thanks to them at Shark, and a big + on this review. It set off a great start.

From there, assembly is simple. Everything slots together nicely. You have three main sections – the main handle/motor section, which in theory is the most important, this is also where the batteries reside. Then you have the central section. Essentially a long shaft which would allow attachments if you were trying to hoover up high, and also connects to the last part, for floor cleaning. This is a traditional hoover head. I find it quick and easy to chop and change attachments depending on what I’m doing. We have cats, and find that their litter gets stuck/spread around their trays. So I use the main head to clean up the bulk areas, then whip it off to hoover against the skirting etc to grab any straggling pieces.

We live in a mid-sized three bed home, with a combination of carpet and Amtico hardfloors, so there’s been a good opportunity to test functionality on multiple surfaces. I find that the hoover head glides pretty effortlessly between the two. Both surfaces are impressively clean when you consider the convenience of the hoover itself vs wired traditionals.

When it comes to battery power, my partner came in saying she loved it, but was sad that the battery died after around 15-20mins. Then I told her there was a spare one in the stand that you use to store the hoover. This is well designed as you can charge it simultaneously to the main device. The way the hoover sits in the charging cradle is a little fiddly, you need to take the main head off. It also wouldn’t take much for it to fall over, so be careful leaving around dogs or children’s prying fingers!
The two batteries combined have proved to be more than enough to clean our house, however you may want to look into getting a third if you live in a bigger home. The device has a helpful indicator showing battery levels when in use. A tip though, avoid using the boost trigger unless you really need it. This is a trigger underneath the handle, and increases suction, but it will chew through the batteries with laughable speed!
Emptying is very simple, though might take a few uses to get used to (I kept opening it when trying to turn it on)! I notice the quantity of long hairs in the “bale” that comes out when emptied, this is shining testament to the anti-wrap technology they use on the floor head. My partner sheds hair like nothing I’ve ever seen, but the head still seems to be clear of them – this is MILES better than the Dyson, which seems to collect them wrapped for fun – a total nuisance to fix. They recommend cleaning the filters for the shark frequently. I’ve not actually gone further than taking the dust section apart and giving it a clean, so I’m not yet familiar with how big a job cleaning the filter is. Couldn’t possibly be harder than the Dyson.

Overall excellent. Hugely convenient to pick up and have a quick dash around if unexpected guests en-route. Vastly easier when hoovering the stairs, without having to lug the body of a corded around with you. Just very, very good. My partner also has commented several times how much she prefers it.

If I had this one in black, I’d be phoning Amazon and asking them to implement a 6th star! It has most likely been my favourite review item so far from Vine, and that concludes a glowing recommendation.

At the time of writing this review, the price of this Shark VandVac vacuums cleaner is 229.00.

I have Dyson V8 vacuums cleaner at home and it has served us well for over 4 years. It is powerful and portable, but recently it starts to show significant performance degradation, i.e., sunction power decreases significantly. Now we have the Shark VandVac to replace the Dyson.

To start, I would say it meets my expectations and the Dyson can “retire” now. It is not a like to like replacement in any mean, Dyson still perform better in high power mode, but overall it is a draw.

The VandVac is very easy to operate and light weight, which is the key for a portable vacuum cleaner. You can easily carry it upstairs and downstairs, to clean every corner of your house without worrying your muscles would pain the next day. The sunction power is decent, for normal household and does regular cleaning every week, I would expect the WandVac will do the job perfectly well. It can also handle some dutu cleaning work, such as we used it to clean some baby mess on the floor and it performed better than expected.

The battery life is pretty good as well, for a single full charge, we can use it for up to 20mins. For Dyson V8, it would be the same performance as well. I really like the charging stand it comes and the spare battery it offers.

Overall, I would say it is a great portablr vacuum cleaner.

This is a super bit of kit. Small but mighty. I found that I get almost seventeen minutes run time and then I swap over the batteries. The manufacture have been kind enough to give you two battery packs in the Shark wandVac system, meaning I always have one on charge. Charging time is about an hour for each of the batteries. I really like the icy blue colour of this vacuum cleaner, but they also make it in rose gold and navy, so plenty choice. The dust container is tiny and needs to be emptied often to stop the the tube filling up with debris. This is great for just giving the floor or carpet the once over, or a accidental spill of dry goods. It store easily by standing into it’s included charging station. The system is light and easy to use and the suction power is very good,. I wish it cleaned right up to the skiting or the inside of the stair run, hence the loss of one star. Therefore it’s 4*from me

I haven’t had the cleaner for long, but so far have been pleased with it. I don’t know what it’s like on stairs as I live on one floor. It is very light which is a plus for me – I often found my previous cleaner hard work.

So pleased I purchased this vacuum. I have struggled with a Dyson but as I gave a barbs k found it increasingly difficult to move around.
I am really pleased with how light and manoeuvrable this is.
Easy to detach hand held and to add accessories.
If there is one small niggle it would be the dirt collected which is quite small.

When I first saw this hoover I thought wow that’s expensive for a small stick portable hoover. However once it arrived I was immediately convinced it was worth it. The unboxing of this little machine showed me the hoover was up to sharks usual standards. The main brush while being heavier than I expected is solid and well made, nice and wide and far better than any stick hoover I’ve ever seen or used. The pole attachment quickly connected in place and I was even more surprised to find how easy it was to lock them together and separate them again. Finally the main hoover. Small and compact connected easily to the pole. Two button near the handle can quickly and easily disconnect this part too which is again very easy to do, these mechanisms alone show the quality of design and workmanship. Switching on the hoover I’ve found it far more powerful than any hand held hoover I’ve ever owned. Picks up dirt and dust so well, cat hairs too. Once you’ve finished take the hoover and hover over the bin. Push the release button and the hoover dustbin pops open dropping the dust straight to the bucket. No removing the dustbins or removing filters to get the dust out. Hit the button let it clean and close. Takes 2 seconds. If the filter does need cleaned it’s another simple click to remove it all. The hoover comes with a charging stand and a few other tools, crevice tool and multi surface tool. The whole hoover itself is heavier than most little hoovers but only with the big brush on which is worth the weight in my opinion. Without the brush head it’s weight is very reasonable and to be honest when the hoovers switched on and moving the weight is perfectly ok. The battery is tiny on this hoover. Last about 15 mins on normal mode, less if you hold the turbo button in but it doesn’t take long to charge and you wouldn’t use this as a main hoover, just one for cleaning the one room quickly or cleaning up a small area the kids have spilled dirt or something on. The hoover comes with a 2 year guarantee and given the very high level of quality I feel this is actually good value for money, compared to every other stock hoover I’ve had this is 100 times superior to them. Very happy with this hoover and would easily give it 6 stars if I could.

    Brilliant stick hoove

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI am honestly impressed. It arrived quick…and very very well packed. Big box tough….make sure you will be home waiting if you don’t have a safe space where it can be delivered. When i saw it…after everything was put in place…i was honestly concerned that it might not be as powerful…but oh was i fooled by the sized of it. It’s a very very qualitative vacuum i must say. I love that you can just pick half of it…and go round the house…cleaning in the upper corners of the house….or maybe if you’ve made a mess on the table…on your DIY project…..and spilled some glitter….you can simply take this vacuum of it’s stand and do your thing…oh it’s so versatile i can’t even explain it to you. When it come to vacuuming the carpet…amazing…absolutely amazing…it doesn’t leave absolutely anything behind. It’s very light weight…you can move it freely with one hand…you don’t have to struggle lifting it up or moving it around coz it’s extremely easy to maneuver . The filer is very easy to clean…i mean the space where everything collects once vacuumed….it doesn’t have a filter that u can change…so that’s a good thing…meaning you won’t have to buy any extras for this. It has lot’s of attachments as i tried to show in the video…it also has 2 batteries…one you can always keep in the charging port and one in the vacuum itself…which it also sits on a charging station always ready to be used… so even if you have a big house…you can always change the batteries if you’ve manage to drain the first one…i mentioned that in case you’ve read the bio and was concerned about the using time of it which it states there you can use it for 32min…but trust me….with this vacuum…being so spot on…you don’t need it for 32 minutes….being easy to handle and not having to be plugged in…being able to move freely around the house and it picking up everything on the carpet and hard floors…even if you have a big house…i bet it will be done in 20 mins tops…that’s how good it is. I personally am very amazed by it…already recommended it to my friends who a couple of them have kids…and they said it’s an amazing buy…just for the simple fact that it doesn’t make much noise…i mean..it does…but way less than expected…and maybe having a baby it’s easier to just hold the baby close you while using this freely with one hand…it can be helpful. It’s definitely worth the price….worth every penny….can’t be more pleased…it is amazing.

I absolutely love this Shark vacuum cleaner. It’s fantastic, powerful and really lightweight.

We own a bungalow so with one full charge we can do the whole house plus our garage which is hubby’s man cave plus the loft.

It comes with two batteries and it’s own docking station.

It’s so easy to use and manoeuvre and has great suction.

It’s so quick and convenient to have around especially when you want to quickly go over one area.

It’s easy to store away too and I absolutely love the rose gold colour which is beautiful.

Absolutely delighted with this vacuum cleaner and very happy to recommend.

I absolutely love this Shark stick vacuum, it’s lightweight but still has brilliant suction. The charging base allows you to charge the battery on its own or charge it with the vacuum complete (it just hooks on), you even have room to store a spare battery. It comes complete with extra tools and a cap to put on the battery compartment if you’re removing the battery for charging. The suction seems to be as strong with the large floor brush, or with the full length without brush, as it is when you remove it to use as a mini vacuum. The dust compartment is small, as is the filter, but we haven’t had any issues with blockages – we do empty it regularly, and I suggest doing so over a bin as it opens right up. It has easy releases to remove the top part and pipe and great rotation on the floor brush.

The vacuum also has a boost function, we haven’t really needed to use it as the the suction is excellent. I was really surprised how powerful this is with the floor brush, I’ve stopped using my larger stick vacuum (also Shark) as I get the same performance but this is easier for me to manage as it’s so light. The battery only lasts around 15 minutes but we always put it back on charge so it’s always ready for me to use. I wanted a lightweight stick vacuum for cobwebs on the ceiling (I have fibromyalgia/arthritis) and this is manageable for me. I’m able to use this daily for general vacuuming now too, something I wasn’t able to do myself with our heavier vacuums.

This stick vacuum is currently 179.99 so it’s competitively price. It’s the cheapest of my 3 sharks (I also have the lift away and a long lasting cordless stick with large dust compartment) and it suits me perfectly. My husband and son use the other ones for general cleaning but they do use this for quick clean up too. Most of all I like having one I can actually use myself.

    Love, love, love!

This is beautifully design, light weight and easy to use. I just love the rose gold colour.
It is great to whip it out to hoover crumbs here and there. It is perfect to use when you have a child at home and you need to constantly tidy and clean. It is light weight and perfect for the stairs.
However, I would struggle to use it to vacuum the whole house with this as the charge doesn’t last long enough for this. You do have two battery with this so if you replace it , you should be able to do half the house. However, I didn’t mind this as this isn’t design to do that , it is more for clearing up the mess without having to take out the heavy duty one. This does make my life easier, as it is more accessible and perfect when I just wanted to grab it quickly to clean up small spills and mess.

There is an ION mode and a boost mode.
    Pros
    – Beautiful colour
    – Good Suction and powerful
    – Cordless
    – Light Weight
    – Comes with two batteries
    – Easy to empty the bin at a click of a button
    – Excellent floor brush
    – Sturdy

    Cons
    – Low run time of approx 15-18 minutes and takes an hour to fully charge. However, you do get a replacement battery.
    – Need to empty the bin more often

I would recommend this. Perfect for busy households.

The Shark WandVac is a mini-marvel for fast, light vacuuming jobs, and upon acquiring this I have much less need to take the powervac from the closet, as I find the Shark makes it so easy to just clean up as you go along.

Parked in it’s recharging station it doesn’t have a large footprint, and the supplied spare battery can be on charge simultaneously. Best of all, the handvac section can be removed in an instant simply by unattaching it from the lower tube – the lightweight, slimline battery is in the handle, and motor and the dust collection section is aligned longitudinally to make it very ergonomic, well-balanced – and, with the crevice suction attachment, looks for all the world like a single-barrelled pump-action… vacuum cleaner!

The re-configuration of the vacuum between handheld and upright is so swiftly and easily done, it’s a very clever design all round.
The upright works very smoothly on hard floors, is a little “stiffer” on carpeting, and don’t bother with pile of any depth with it.

The two nozzle attachments – the pet hair cleaner and crevice tube – are both standard and efficient. Curiously however, the charging stand has a special receptacle for the crevice nozzle, but nowhere for the pet hair attachment to be stored. In all configurations it is very lightweight and easy to manipulate.

The one drawback of this baby Shark is is lack of power; as both motor and battery need to fit into the upper handle section, the motor is of limited power and the battery is of limited duration.
Neither of these are really issues except for when heavy duty vacuuming is required though.

I now regard this as a crucial and more frequently used lightweight vacuuming option that means I don’t need to do heavier cleaning as often. I’m very happy with it and, so long as one understands its limitations, will definitely prove a boon. Recommended.

I absolutely love this. I currently have a corded shark but this cordless version is amazing. One full charge was enough to clean the full downstairs area or a full upstairs. It’s so light and easy to use. The collection chamber is small but that wasn’t a big deal to me. It’s great to use in the car as a handheld. Suction power is great and a charge lasts around 16 minutes. Highly recommended.

A slim and lightweight 2-in-1 cordless WandVac System vacuum from Shark that is perfect for my needs.

I already have a heavy duty Bissell hoover but since I suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I know I needed something lighter.

I have to vacuum on a daily basis since I have 3 little active kids in the house. The house is fully carpeted with some hard floor areas. With its 2 power modes with strong suction powers, this vacuum works effortlessly on these types of floors.

Its main swivel head together with the slim stick makes it very easy to manoeuvre around the small tight areas.

The smaller attachment heads are very useful for cleaning the stairs, small corners, and hard to reach areas.

My husband also finds it’s very convenient to use this cordless hoover to clean the car.

Charging takes only around 1 hour and would last approximately 15 minutes at the highest speed, sufficient enough to clean the whole house. But if you need more time to vacuum, you can simply use the spare battery and charge the other one.

I also like how it’s so easy to empty the dust container, just with a simple slide down of a button.
Having said all that, it’s a shame that it’s quite noisy. But it does its job brilliantly so I don’t mind it so much.

All in all, I’m thoroughly pleased with this vacuum and happy to recommend it if you need a powerful 2-in-1 one vacuum that works as advertised.

Let me know if you found the review helpful. Thanks.

Great vacuum cleaner. I use it downstairs where I don’t have carpets. It is brilliant, very light, very compact and works incredibly well. It is powerful enough to clean very well. There are 2 batteries but only once I had to use the backup one. Also works great in the car. There are 3 attachments and the pet brush is actually very good. I would not use it as main hoover due to small dust compartment (though you can empty with ease – 1 push of a button). The suction is a bit less than my main Shark but the convenience is outstanding. I can now quickly vacuum kitchen in 30 seconds taking it out and back to charging making it indispensable daily item for me now. Go get it and see how your life will change!

The vacuum cleaner is very easy to assembly/disassemble and comes with a number of add-ons like a small brush, a small roller, bigger roller.
Dust collector is very small for heavy-duty vacuum and will get filled up very quickly. I was expecting the dust collector to be a bit bigger for house use. The roller on both add-ons is very good when comes to hair that doesn’t get stuck on the roller because of the material that is made.
The two batteries also provides a bit more time for vacuum.
With a dust collector so small, I believe can be used in a car or very small clean up in the house.

The suction power is fantastic and it does the work.
The battery is good as long I`m not using too much the turbo button and the roller.

In my opinion, the price of 199 is a very expensive vacuum for any use.

Unfortunately, I gave 4 stars just because of the dust collector and the price.

I hope my review and picture/video can help you decide.

There is lots to say positive about this cordless vacuum cleaner but didn’t lack some of bad designs too.

It is worths to start with general look, because this vacuum is beautiful. Slim, stylish, nice gold color. Definitely can be part of house accessory when left anywhere. Big advantage of this Shark WandVac vacuum is definitely lightweight as well size since it is very small vacuum which also brings one downside as well. Very easy to manoeuvre between furnitures, very agile and since it is very light it is no problem to lift it up to clean under ceiling for longer period of time without pain in hand. Suction power is enough for both laminate and thinner carpets however on carpet took me a bit longer to pull all dirt and hair. I rather hesitate to use turbo speed because it does drain battery like crazy and it wouldn’t probably last even a 7minutes. So for this size vacuum suction is ok for me.

Some negatives. Due to it’s size there must have been some compromises. Unfortunately it affects quite important parts for me which is battery and dust/dirt compartment. Both are small unless you don’t use vacuum for longer than 14-16 minutes. That is right, battery on normal speed only last in my case between 14 minutes and 16 minutes. It is probably not enough if you leaving hoovering on end of week and usually do whole house in one go. This vacuum is simply to use in one or 2 room on end of the day every day. Just gently pick up what you left on that they. There is no way you can do whole house in one charge with single battery. I get the idea, keep cleaning more ofter. Then even dust compartment is ok-ish since there won’t be that much to fill whole. Emptying it is easy but i noticed it does involve you to physically grab for them hairs, and other stuff with hand to take it from filter. After pressing button it ejecting hatch but rubbish stays there. Not big deal but was hoping I won’t need to touch it.

Depending on which model you are buying, in gold you have only 1 battery and 3 different replaceable heads with charging stand. Seems like pretty good deal but i missing end for stairs since none of the heads included doesn’t fit purpose for stairs.

Price wise it is for individual to calculate, i can justify spending 200 for this and genuinely believe it is worth that much since lots of technology and design been involved in this.

Great design and look, small battery however and tiny dust/dirt compartme

I love this shark vacuum, and for the price it really didn’t disappoint.
There is so much to say about this vacuum that I’m just going to do a simple pros and cons list.

    Pros:
    – It’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver around the house
    – comes with 2 rechargeable batteries
    – the storage plate plugs in and sits of the floor for easy storage and charging
    – Great suction power, can tackle any mess
    – had a power indicator and a beep function whilst you use that tells you when you drop a bar of power
    – takes around 3 hours to charge and lasts about 15 minutes (with two batteries you could get 30min run time)
-the vacuum is easily emptied and has 3 simple screws to remove the brush bar for easy cleaning and maintenance
    – has a turbo function
    – comes with accessories (a crevice tool, pet tool, brush tool)
    – can be taken apart to make a handheld vacuum to make easy work of stairs and the car
    – looks super sleek and stylish
    – for its power is surprisingly quiet too
    – a bonus, all the packaging was paper not plastic bags so it could all be recycled – great for the planet

    Cons- (just my opinion)
    – I wish it had a light on the bottom so you could see the floor better to get a more thorough clean
    – also wish that the handle was a little better designed. It’s quite thick and has no support around your hand so you could drop it more easily as you can’t get an ideal grasp of it. This would also be a problem for people with weak hands or joints, elderly or anyone with underlying conditions that affect fine motor skills.
    – the price, its a lot pricier than I would normally go for

The cons are only small things and if you really want a cordless, powerful, stylish, quiet, lightweight, multiuse vacuum with 2 batteries, a charging station AND accessories then this is perfect. Works great, I love it.

Powerful, lightweight and does all the jobs

This 2 in 1 wand vac is an amazing back up vacuum cleaner to my main large one.
This Shark vac is well built from high quality materials and feels luxurious as it is premium built. Each connecting part is beautifully made and feels rugged and durable.
I was surprised that this vacuum cleaner came with a spare battery which is a very important thing and I can rotate and have more time to vacuum.
The vacuum cleaner slips over the main part snuggly and forms a compact house vacuum cleaner to vacuum small debris and awkward places that my big vacuum cleaner can’t reach. The Shark is great for stairs as I can work faster and more efficiently. The adapters mean I could vac curtains, cobwebs, window sills and much more.. this lightweight and easy to carry around vacuum cleaner means I don’t have to struggle as it’s not heavy at all.
To vacuum using the wand is done by sliding the switch and the wand separates from the lower section. Then I slide the smaller brush head on and can vacuum small places like my car, window sills, car boot, sofa etc… because its shorter, suction power is stronger due to less tubes and parts to travel through. It also has a boost feature to give it more suction power.
It may not be as powerful as the big brother vacs. but then it’s not supposed to replace it, but it does it’s job as a compact 2 in 1 vac. perfectly.
Noise wise, it’s loud but a premium kind of loud and is acceptable for a product like this. The buttons and spinning brushes work like a dream and you can see the small debris being sucked up into the dirt cannister. The cannister is a little smaller than I like but then again it’s a backup vac. amd emptying it is simple. Pressing a button releases the cannister and you just empty the contents. Rechargeable the vac is simple by carefully lowering and sliding it onto the platforms charger port. The spare battery slips into a separate port.
I am very happy with this Shark Vac. cleaner and it has a generous warranty.
The current price is excellent for a vacuum cleaner of this quality and performance.

Short review: this is a very good option if you have a small place or if you’d like a light weight second vacuum to reach difficult areas.

First impressions of the WandVac were positive. Composed of clean lines and having a slim profile, it’s an inobtrusive appliance. The included stand doesn’t have a huge footprint so it can tuck away neatly into a corner. Sadly, there’s isn’t much accommodation for the tools in the stand or on the vacuum itself, possibly in an Apple-like desire to keep things streamlined at the expense of utility. The WandVac can stand unaided, though it’s slightly precarious.

It comes with two batteries that each last around 12-15 minutes in my experience. This is enough for our whole 2 bedroom flat if we work quickly. Fortunately, because the vacuum is lightweight and cordless, I’ve found that the cleaning is actually done faster due to my increased mobility. At first I was quite sceptical about such a short running time, but it makes total sense when you consider that weight must’ve been a priority. I can see it being very useful for the elderly and those of us with impaired manual strength.

The dustbin is small and does need to be emptied quite frequently. Fortunately, emptying it is really easy. Press a button and the spring loaded mechanism jettisons the waste with a good amount of force. I haven’t had to dig into the container to extricate anything with my fingers yet, which is a big upgrade over the AEG cordless vacuum I was using before.

One practicality to note is that it’s a vacuum that doesn’t really suit tall people, unless there’s some way to extend the handle that I haven’t discovered yet. Even at 5’8″ I find myself wishing the handle was a little longer at times.

The included attachments all work really well and are easy to fit and remove. I’ve attached a video of the precise suction tool to this review. The small rotary brush is ideal for cleaning around skirting boards and corners that the larger head can’t reach.

Our flat has two long people with long hair and two cats, one of which is a constantly shedding ragdoll. We wage a constant battle to keep our floor and upholstery relatively clear of human hair and feline follicles. Our previous Shark hoover had a rotary head that frequently became congested with hair, so I was excited to read the anti-hair wrap claims for this cordless cleaner. To my surprise, even after vacuuming the whole flat, there wasn’t any hair wrapped around the brush – see picture.

Overall, I think this is a great option for small flats with pets or for larger homes that could benefit from an ‘upstairs’ vacuum or an additional option for reaching tricky spots. I have minor quibbles about the lack of storage for attachments and the height of the vacuum, but they’re easy things to work around in return for such a versatile cleaning tool.

Wonderfully versatile and lightweight - great for small homes or as a secondary vacuum

This Shark cleaner is well-made and easy to use, but you couldn’t really make it the main piece of equipment for vacuuming your home. Why? Well, the crazily small dust collector that sits on the handle fills rapidly, battery life is only 16 minutes, and the suction power, no matter what the claims of the manufacturer are, comes nowhere close to any Dyson cleaner I’ve tried. On the plus side, the anti-tangle brushes work well and saves time cleaning hair etc from those after you’ve used it. The wand cleaner charges on a neat base unit, and you can separate the handle, making the hand-held top part very convenient for using on stairs, in the car, or on furniture. It’s pricey for sure, and those looking for a compact lightweight second cleaner may well find something cheaper and just as effective from another make. Equipped with a couple of useful add on cleaning tools. Watch out if you do go for this – the battery charger cable plug is tucked away deep in the over-the-top packaging and is easily missed when unpacking it all. Almost threw it out!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Anti hair wrap tech seems to gather hair into a ball which can then easily be pulled off the roller, and is so much more effective at stopping hair wrapping around than those without.

The stand is included as it doesn’t seem designed to be stood upright on its own, it’s too unstable without it. I can manage to stand it up in floor mode without the stand, but it takes time and it’s not worth the risk of it toppling over. However, it’s perfectly stable in the stand.

The storage on the stand only secures the crevice tool though, the multi surface and motorised pet tools have to just be laid on top.

The dust collection box is small, but emptying is quick and simple. Also, you don’t have to keep hold of the power button to keep it turned on.

Brilliant for quick daily cleans, however if you really need to go over heavily soiled carpets in a number of large rooms, then it may be difficult to get it all done on the first charge of the two batteries.

Changing from handheld to floor mode couldn’t be easier and I’m really impressed with how the whole hoover has a really sturdy feel to it, especially where different parts join together.

    Brilliant for quick daily cleans

This is a great Vacuum with two batteries and three extra heads . I was shocked at how much Cat hair it picked up because I had just vacuumed a few days before. It’s well made and easy to push .You can go from carpet to hard floor without a problem which is nice . I also like the dust compartment with the open button so you don’t have to dismatle half the vacuum to get it out. Great for the price and fast delivery .

    Highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat I liked: cordless, rechargeable, easy to grab and use for zooming around the floors like a normal hoover. And using as a handheld. Excellent attachment for using on stairs as a handheld. Also gets into a lot of narrow gaps between bed and unit etc. Also comes with a brush attachment for dried mud on mats. Works well on wooden floors as well as carpet and door mats. Ideal for carrying out to the car to use as well as the home. The instructions were a bit confusing in areas and lacking extra information. By trial and error, I believe I have sussed the charging method now. At first I tried to charge it and it only charged part way through. I didn’t realise the light on the base lights up when the cleaner isn’t connected properly in the dock. So the dog must have knocked it whilst having a nose at it? Anyway, if the light pops on it’s not charging. But the light on the cleaner must be pulsing. The more charged up, then the next light starts pulsing and so on. The spare battery in the docking station does not charge. Looks like connections in it to charge. But I’ve tried everything and it’s just a storage compartment. Which is what the manual is stating as well. I really like the two batteries. But ideally would like to be able to charge one up separately, whilst being able to use the other in the cleaner. So if the docking station could charge a battery as well in that storage compartment it would have been the icing on the cake so to speak. I would also have liked to see a light on the bottom of the main cleaner head. They are ideal to use on wooden floors in the dark. My type of floor can look clean but once a cleaner light is on in the dark. Then you can really see that clean floor actually has fine dust and dog hairs on. The battery life is enough to do the whole of my large flat quickly. And still have enough charge to pop up my mothers to clean her carpeted stairs with. I don’t have to take the whole cleaner with me, but just the hand held part and the stair attachment. It’s light weight to carry to her home and bring back again. Plus I can take the spare fully charged battery with me if needed. I also like the beater roller bar inside the head units. My long hair isn’t getting tangled around it so far. A few months of usage will be the best time to tell on that though. As that is the amount of time I usually end up having to remove it all from my other standard cleaners that have the brush type version. Didn’t take long to get use to the wand handle over conventional loop handle type. My arm some days does get a bit achy from grabbing hold of it on longer uses. The whole cleaner doesn’t stand up on its own unless the battery weight is taken out of the top. Or handle part is removed. All stands up fine on the docking station though. The dust canister is easy to empty over a large bin liner. As the spring action opens it very quickly and quite wide. Takes some getting use to where all the buttons are and not accidentally open the dust compartment by mistake lol. I personally am not too keen on the colour of the Shark cleaner. I would have preferred it to be a more neutral silver and black rubber detail in the main hoover head. The blue doesn’t go with any of my decor and looks cheap along with the yellow rubber in the main hoover head, that sticks out like a sore thumb. But it is a good hoover. My elderly mother has been able to use it as well. It would also suit her very well, being out ready in the docking station. So in fairness. A lot of my niggles are down to the way I want it to look to fit into my home. Where from an older generations perspective; this is an ideal light weight easy to use cleaner with good suction on it, and easy to empty. The base cleaner head is the heaviest part on it. But you only need to lift it for docking, which my elderly mother can do easily with both hands. Me it’s no problem with one hand. Lastly as per demonstrated in my video attachment. Like a lot of these cordless cleaners I find. It does not clean when pulling it backwards. It just pushes the dirt back. So you have to bare that in mind when cleaning. So forward motion and and pull back where you have already cleaned, then push forward over the dirty next area. The cleaner had no problem sucking up the pieces of paper I showed in the video and done a grand job of lifting the fine dust off my wooden floors. It’s a bit noisier than most cordless cleaners I have used. But is still quieter than a conventional plug in hoover. Overall a good handy cleaner to have.

Very handy cordless cleaner, with good suction.

I have been a recent convert to Shark cleaners mainly down to having two children with long hair. I have another larger cordless Shark cleaner which I keep downstairs.

This vacuum came in a box with the four attachments shown from left to right: the crevice tool, the motorised pet tool, the multi surface tool and the main floor cleaning attachment. The vacuum can either used with these attachments directly or by connecting an intermediate wand (included) which allows further reach. The box also includes a spare battery, charging dock and instructions.

Each battery lasts around fifteen minutes which may not seem like long but there are two batteries. The batteries can be swapped easily by gripping on the side of the one battery and lifting it out of the vacuum. The charging base holds both the vacuum for charging and the spare battery – once the vacuum battery is charged the spare battery will be charged. Charging status is shown by LED indicators on the handle and charging base. The instructions suggest that when not in use the vacuum can be left on the charging base to charge – it won’t depreciate the battery by leaving it on the smart charger.

I found the suction good on this vacuum and it certainly cleaned the floor. The anti hair wrap technology I find a great feature and I generally don’t need to remove any long hair from the end like my last non Shark vacuum. The vacuum is surprisingly light and easy to use – the top can be clipped from the rest straight off the charging plate and used for minor spills.

The dust container is quite small and I find I empty it after each room – there’s a switch on the handle to open the compartment but make sure you’re over a bin at the time! Considering the weight of the vacuum and the ease of use, a small container is probably necessary.

The range of attachments is very good – the main tool and the smaller pet tool are both motorised making them easier to push. The crevice tool Is good for getting right into the edges and the multi-surface tool I mainly use as a duster – cleaning the top of shelves etc. With the wand attached the vacuum is still light enough to hold up and clean any cobwebs etc from ceiling edges.

I do like this vacuum and with the spare battery it could easily clean my whole house, with emptying the dust container as I go. I find it handy having this one on its charging plate upstairs. A great vacuum.

Almost but not quite the perfect small place vacuum. I have an older Shark cordless and TBH it’s the only cordless I’ve stuck with. The advantages of cordless are obvious day to day, but battery life needs watching. This one is way smaller and lighter. Looks cool too!

It’s ideal IMO for a smaller apartment and especially one without deep carpets in each room. It struggles a bit in my bedroom, but the other rooms, two standard carpeted, and two vinyl, no problem. The dust/fluff bin container is very small. Again, probably indicates the intended market. Placement of buttons isn’t necessarily intuitive. I kept pressing the button below the on/off thinking it was the booster switch. It just dumps all that you’ve just hoovered onto the floor again. It does empty easily tho, unlike my original Shark which all too often needs inserting fingers to pull stuff out. Suck power is less than the other Shark, but acceptable. The boost function works but barely makes a difference. Suck is better than the other brands of cordless I’ve had.

Design wise, I think apart from buttons placement, this is great. Looks way more contemporary ‘designed’ than my old model. Really sleek. This also comes with an extra battery to take you to 30 minutes plus, so enough for most places in one go, and recharge through the supplied stand is very easy – one through the stand and the second via the cleaner. Insertion of a new battery is super easy.

Bear in mind several rooms of deep carpet will be frustrating to clean and so look at a more powerful model. This model isn’t really intended for some places or some uses IMO. Easy 4**** even so. I really like this one just minor issues prevent a full on 5 score. With the second battery 199 feels decent enough value wise.

    So great and powerfull.
    Suit perfectly for dog hairs.
Comes with the 2 batteries which can be charged at the same time.
I love the stand its comes with, so Im always sure that vacuum will not fell down while charging.
All good with the battery life. One battery enought to vacuum 1 floor with 3 rooms, corridor and stairs. So 2 batteries is enough to vacuum 2-3 floor house.
Its very lightweight, that what I was needed, so easily an vacuum stairs.
Also package contains brush to vacuum sofas.

Once you have figured out how to put it together and have charged it up, I am sure you will love this as much as we do.

The hand held part is easy to use, light and very effective. Although the dust compartment is fairly small, this does mean that I empty and clean it more often than my current larger model. The filters are simple to clean also.

We have a combination of solid lacquered wood floors and rugs so the upright cleaner is ideal for us and it does a grand job of picking up daily dust, although initially I found it more awkward to manoeuvre than my current vacuum. Once I became used to it, it rapidly became a new favourite.

The charging process is fast and lasts long enough for a once- over around our apartment. Having a backup battery always on charge is a handy bonus. The docking plate is neat.

All the tools are easy to fit on and to take off and they all fulfill a useful purpose. The rose gold finish is incredibly smart too.

Overall thus is a strong recommendation. We do not have pets but a doggy friend would not be without hers!

This 2-in-1 cordless vacuum is an excellent backup option to have to the main vacuum. It is sleek, lightweight, easy to handle, has strong suction and the continuous charge function means it is always available & ready to use. The design is really good and the colour options are fantastic which means it can be displayed freely, within reach, and doesn’t need to be kept hidden away.
With the wand attachment, it is easy to reach high or narrow areas with ease. In the handheld mode, the suction is strong and it makes light work of cleaning up worktops, furnishings or pet hair. I have found the run time to be roughly about 15 minutes on a single battery in boost mode so it is really efficient for a quick clean-up. It also has the well-known Shark anti-hair wrap technology in the floor attachment to reduce the mess when picking up hair. The dust cup has a reasonable capacity and is easy to empty with the touch of a button.
I have used this vacuum on hard floors, carpets, fabric sofas and in the car. Each time, it has done the job efficiently and I didn’t have to go over the same area more than twice. It comes with all the attachments you’d need to use around the house, office or car.
If you are looking for a backup vacuum, this should be your number one choice. I can also go as far as to say you can easily have this as your main vacuum if you live in a flat or studio apartment. I highly recommend it!

This is a slimline vacuum set that features four vacuum heads and the benefits of handheld cordless technology.

Before I get into the pros and cons of this product I want to mention that there was not one piece of plastic when unpacking this. All components were wrapped in soft paper and placed in cardboard. All recyclable, I applaud you Shark.

Once unpacked this was easy to set up and with just a few clicks it was ready for its first charge. It is recommended to fully charge before first use.

The upright headset is lightweight but doesn’t compromise on brushing or suction power. It is easy to carry around the home and much easier than carrying a full size vacuum up the stairs. Manoeuvrability is good, it moves very much like a traditional vacuum it doesn’t feel as fluid as my dyson but that has ‘the ball’, so it wasn’t really going to compete with that. The head size is small enough to easily fit under my wardrobes and other small awkward places. One drawback I personally feel disappointed in is that it cannot stand upright unaided by the charge stand. If you are vacuuming and there’s a knock at the door you either have to lay it flat on the floor or prop it against a wall to be able to go answer the door. This is because it is top heavy with the motor unit being at the top to convert it into a smaller handheld. Whilst I understand this doesn’t fall into the upright category of vacuums and is technically a handheld I do feel because of its size being able to stand unaided would have been a benefit.

Removing the heads is easy there are two buttons either side that once pressed the heads slip out and you can swap them out.

The crevice tool (long pointy one) is great at vacuuming crumbs from around, under and in between kitchen cupboards. The suction power is on par with my dyson I was really impressed. It completely out performed my other handheld vacuums.

The motorised pet tool/head is a mini version of the upright head. Now this works brilliantly but is very noisy! Like ear piercingly loud. It’s performance makes up for this and instead of being grumpy about the noise you are happy at the job you’ve done. If noise level is something that matters to you, I’d say this wasn’t for you.

The multi surface tool is basically a non-motorised brush head. This is gentle but still with suction power. It is suitable for delicate rugs/furniture/curtains.

When it comes to emptying the dust cup this should be done after every use, it’s only small and is incredibly easy to do. As it is to be done so frequently the button to empty is literally under the power button. Make sure you are over your bin as it opens quite quickly and immediately drops all your dust/dirt out.

Competitively priced at 199 (Jan 2022) you are getting a lot for your money. Many of its competitors don’t offer the variety of heads making this a unique solution to everyday cleaning. The portability and ease of use are big selling points and I for one would purchase this again. If you’re in the market for a versatile handheld with multiple uses then I think you’ve found what you are looking for.

I really like this; it’s powerful, and easy to handle and use. However, the lightweight battery means it will only last about a quarter of an hour of use before needing a recharge.

It’s very smart-looking on its charging base and the build quality is excellent. I’m happy with the suction power for such a small unit, especially while the ‘turbo’ button on the underside is pressed. Although the dust container is small, it flips open to empty very quickly, and because the suction of the thing compresses the waste together, it fits in more than expected.

Because of the short battery life, it’s not suitable for cleaning the entirety of a house – but I don’t think the expectation is that it will. It’s so lightweight it’s a breeze to use for cleaning the stairs and getting round corners – as well as convenient to grab for minor spills or kitchen crumbs. For minor jobs (or if you live in a studio or a one-bed place) it’s fantastic.

This Shark wandvac is a pretty light cordless handheld which comes with a a crevice, multi surface and broad head set of tools

Now when you get it, you really don’t need the instructions to put it together as everything just slots and hey presto you’ve got the vac ready to go

It then fits onto the charging base and that’s it

I will say that I did have a quick play with it with the small amount of charge it actually came with.
After all who doesn’t want to switch their new tech ones soon as you get it home?

Actually it was lucky the dust collector was empty as the button to open that is straight under the power switch and I accidentally slid that into open and the dust lid popped open. Will know not to do that after it’s been used

Once I actually set it onto charge for the 3+ hrs I tried it again and found it does pick up all the bits of fluff and dust from both carpets and hard floors.

But the charging level indicator went down pretty quickly. I then read the instruction booklet and found out you’re going to be getting a max of 16mins per charge

I’d say this is more like something you use to sweep up the occasional spillage and keep things clean between using the main vacuum cleaner.

Unless you can somehow manage to clean the entire house in 12-16 mins that is

The dust collector is pretty small too which reinforces the idea this is meant for light use but it does come with a good amount of suction

Final point is that the anti hair wrap technology should stop all those long pet/human hairs from clogging the head up as it uses flexible fins instead of bristles

I already own a Shark corded vacuum cleaner and am mightily impressed with its cleaning power but find it rather heavy across carpets and being corded not so flexible as a cordless vacuum cleaner. So trying out this Shark Wandvac System Cordless Handheld Vacuum WV362BLUKT I am very impressed with it too though it is a different type of machine and it is unfair to compare a regular vacuum to a cordless wand one.

    On arrival I was impressed by how carefully everything was packaged in cardboard and paper, no plastic waste at all. The pieces easily fit together and look very well made. There are 3 pieces to click together plus a recharging stand with a 3-pin plug, the included instructions are very clear and illustrated, probably the easiest I’ve read in a long time. The top part is also a handheld vacuum cleaner and can be used with the 3 accessories as well as the end of the wand part. There is a main large cleaning head with an anti hair wrap brush roll inside that works brilliantly with long hair and pet hair (I have long waist length hair and a black cat and dog on beige carpets). There’s definitely much less hair on the roller, though it does get on there eventually, but keep use scissors to cut across the rolled hair to remove it easily. The accessories are;

    A smaller motorised pet tool

    A crevice tool

A multi surface tool (the brush part comes off)

And two batteries (one is already charged in the top of the vacuum cleaner).

It’s very lightweight to use and the wand handle is very flexible to go easily under furniture like coffee tables or footed sofas. It doesn’t have a light like it’s big brother, but I don’t mind as this vacuum whizzes round easily and picks up into the edges and corners. It’s fairly quiet, though the heads with the rollers in are quite noisy, the handheld vacuum is quieter without them. It cleans the stair carpet well though the tools aren’t flexible like the main head, but the angle seems ergonomically good.

The battery lasted just over 15 minutes, it turned itself off but it was easy to pull out the battery from the top and pop in the charged one from the recharging station. When finished just put the vacuum cleaner back onto the recharging station and the one in handle will recharge too along with the other one on the station. Once they have charged up they do not continue to draw electricity but store the charge until needed. It takes 3 1/2 hours for a full charge.

The vacuum has a boost button on the back of the handle you hold for an extra bit of oomph a bit like holding a cold shot button on a hairdryer. It’s very effective on stubborn fluff. The wand can be used for reaching curtains and cobwebs around coving and in corners and lights. The handheld vacuum cleaner is perfect for sofas and the car interior, especially using the crevice tool for picking up those pesky crumbs down the edges and dirt in the footwells in the car. It has more power than any handheld I’ve used before.
It’s very simple to use too. Cleaning it is easy, there’s a push down switch under the power button to open the dust cup. It swings open, so hold it over the bin and the dust and fluff will fall out easily and cleanly. A quick wipe inside with a kitchen paper keeps it dust free. Cleaning the filter is very straightforward too, as are the floor nozzles and heads.

I am genuinely very impressed with this new vacuum cleaner from Shark, the light metallic blue is lovely, the design is sleek and stylish and above all, it functions very well as a handy vacuum cleaner that’s lightweight and convenient as it’s cordless. Shark offer an excellent 5 year guarantee which gives me peace of mind they’re confident in their product. Please see my photos, I hope my honest review is helpful to you, thank you for reading it.

Its a very convenient device for running over the floor tidying up the everyday bits a family create. The suction isn’t as good as a hoover but it’s more than enough to make the house tidy. I love it and would recommend if you are after a lightweight, easy accessible handheld device! Don’t know why I haven’t had one before!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI got to test this appliance and found it so easy to put together, even my children helped and I was impressed with how quickly it charged and you can get what you need done within the battery life
Really pleased with this vacuum, light, agile and very efficient. Can tackle both hard and carpeted floors and it is satisfying to see the amount of dust and hair it picks up each time. Compact and fits nicely into a small space whilst charging.
I’ve had this vacuum cleaner for almost a month and I honestly can’t imagine what I’d do without it. The anti hair wrap technology really works which is my favourite thing about the hoover. My wife has very long brown hair which appears absolutely everywhere in the house, this is the only vacuum I have come across which not only sucks the hairs up efficiently but it also doesn’t get wrapped around the pole at the bottom of the vacuum. I have no idea how Shark has managed to produce this but I’m so pleased they have as it is making our lives much easier.
It’s absolutely ideal for small messes that need clearing up without the fuss of having to do a full vacuum. It’s ideal for crumbs, dried mud from shoes that’s been walked in. It also works brilliantly on hard floors AND carpets. I love how easy it was to assemble and the fact it has its own stand too which keeps it neat and tidy.
    We can recommend this model
I will update later if there’s any issues as I like my reviews to be helpful.

Bought this for my daughter as I have one. She is really pleased. Lightweight, cordless not used it for stairs yet. So handy for a quick clean saves the heavyweight vacuum.

Very lightweight easy to use for my 90 year old mum, the only issue for her was it was difficult to empty, the contents kept ending up on the floor.
Would love someone to get in touch to explain an easier way of emptying.

Absolutely amazing brilliant vacuum cleaner. A minor criticism is, the dirt container could be larger.
