Fairly good- makes our sofa bed a little less uncomfortable.
The mattress topper made a huge difference on on my hard couch bed as it is soft and plump. It completely rejuvenated the cushioning make it comfortable again. However a little more support would significantly improve sleep quality. Also the bag it comes in is useful for storage when it’s not needed.
For anyone expecting this to effectively replace a duff mattress, there are only so many failings it can compensate for. My existing mattress doesn’t seem to be worn out, but my hip bone was having issues with what felt like a misbhevaing spring (although the mattress feels flat). The issue has largely been resolved, but it is still necessary to movearound ocasioanlly.
And given that this is supposed to breathe, I hate to think how warm a non-breathing topper would be!
We bought this to go on top of our King size Simba mattress as it is quite flat. Its like sleeping on a cloud. As previous reviewer stated- this wont transform an old mattress ready for the tip. But it does make our memory mattress much softer. I would buy again.
I researched a lot before buying as I was on a budget. My mattress was really hard and affecting my sleep. Straight away on adding this it made the bed much more comfortable.
Thickness wise it has a good depth probably the minimum you would want to go and you can give it a shake to fluff it up which works well.
It stays in place well due to the elastic.
It covers the bed enough but is slightly slimmer than the mattress.
Easy to wash and clean.
Overall a good option if cant afford a memory foam.
Really good topper. I bought two. One for my very uncomfortable sofa bed, and the other for my sons mattress. Works like a charm. Make sure you shake it out each day to maintain, as it could go very flat if you don’t do this regularly. Overall very pleased
Thickness is not bad and have made my bed much softer however I don’t think there’s any pain relief from this.

The reviews were mixed and I tried to cancel my order as a result of reading them after ordering. I am so glad that I didn’t as the topper is great and very comfortable, it just adds that smidge of softness to lift the bed to another level of comfort!
Before I bought this I was sleeping on an old mattress in which I could very literally feel the springs.
This mattress topper had transformed my bed. It’s a luxury item and super cushiony. Only used it for a couple weeks so far but it has shown no sign of deterioration.
Very soft and with the perfect amount of give. And thick enough that you don’t need to feel the mattress underneath.
Be careful buying from competitors. The advertised thickness is always a little bit of a gamble. This is a quality piece from a quality brand and I’m glad I did my research to buy this over the other alternatives.
Bought this as was always tossing and turning and with the current situation going on couldn’t afford a new mattress for 300+. This as got to be the Best Buy ive bought, I had the best nights sleep in a long time last night, you will not be disappointed

Ordered this after seeing demonstration elsewhere. It is soft and feels good to get into. I have a standard double mattress and so ordered the size double. It would have got 5 stars if it had been just an inch or so wider. It only just sits on the width of the mattress and I have to readjust it every day as it moves away from the edge, if it was slightly wider to overhang just a bit that would then be held down with a fitted sheet it would be so much better.
I don’t normally write product reviews but this has literally saved my life. I haven’t slept properly in months due to back and shoulder issues but last night not only did I fall asleep quickly on this but I stayed asleep and woke up pain free and refreshed!! I think I’m in love !
Nice thick (5cm topper), very comfortable on my slightly older mattress. Had this 2 years now and it’s been great.
Decided to wash it the other day (2 years… about time right!). To my delight it is machine washable and the sales blurb also says it can be “popped into the washing machine”… now I have a reasonable size washing machine and it didn’t really fit (8-10kg size)… but I thought it would compact slightly with the water….
It’s did wash but I had to throw it into the bath to get the rest of the soap out. Please be warned that this thing full of water weights about the same as a fully grown adult who like Sunday lunches.
Once it finally dries I can hopefully enjoy my topper once more.

Bought it for my son who is in rented accommodation with very old spring type mattress and this topper is a cheap but effective way of getting a good night sleep. He absolutely loves it and says it provides an excellent night sleep

Second one I have bought, the first makes my cheaper caravan mattress much more comfortable and soft to lay on. This one I have on my cool gel expensive mattress and makes very little difference in fact makes it warm to lay on, my own fault and not the fault of the topper. It is lovely and soft.
Very good topper – bought this for our sofa bed when guests sleep on it as the mattress was not the best – you can definitely feel an improvement and the bed was so much more comfortable. Minus 1 star because it had a bit of an odd smell when opened for the first time, had to air it out in the garden for several hours for it to disappea
I bought this for my 3 year old to top a mattress that you could feel some of the springs, this has done the trick. Definitely adds a nice layer of comfort to the mattress and saved having to buy him a brand new one until he’s bigger. It feels soft and cosy to lie on. I think this is suitable if your just looking for a little extra comfort or to top a slightly uncomfortable mattress. Definitely suitable to add comfort to a child’s bed.
Really excellent mattress topper. Provides protection to the mattress and makes you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud or in cotton wool. Perfect when paired with a firm mattress or a foam mattress — this allows you to keep cool and not feel too enveloped by the foam. The thicker 6cm (Airmax 600) version is definitely the right one to go for.
Good budget topper. Not foam so you don’t sweat as much, breathable, soft. You don’t really feel the the volume as top layer sliding to one side after putting fitted bedding onto it.
Perfect to go over my brand new firm mattress which after one night couldn’t bare anymore because it had put pressure on my legs and lower back but with this topper it felt like I was floating on a cloud and I had no aches or pains! It is comfortable and supportive. I make sure to lift the covers to give it air after I wake up and it plumps back up. When putting fitted sheet over it, leave space and don’t pull too tight to allow it to expand. Free delivery very quick, ordered on Friday morning arrived Saturday afternoon! Also price was cheaper than other shops.
So . My mattress I am using is so bad. It’s even got this plasic? Covering over it. It’s like a green slab or plastic basically. Horrible thing. Thought I would treat myself to one of these. It arrived a day early! Best idea ever. My bed feels like a bed now! Like I am so happy with it. It’s the first night but I can tell we are gonna get on well. Price and quality seem good. And the upgrade from what I had. Priceless. I got a single to cover my single and it’s a perfect fit. Went deep. Glad I did. It’s got loops? For lack of a better word. Ones on the bottom you use to hook under the mattress your topping, in order to keep the topper in place. So no sliding around. As I said. Loving it. Such a worthwhile addition to my life at the moment. Uber comfy. So for me 10/10. All be it my first mattress topper. I can’t recommend one enough just from the enjoyment and experiencing I’m having with this one.

Even though I have a good memory foam mattress this just adds another layer of comfort. I suffer from arthritis in my Spine and hips and the cushioning helps. I don’t know how good it would be without the memory foam underneath. Also cheaper than elsewhere.
Really pleased with this mattress topper. My mattress is very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on, but since purchasing this topper I don’t want to leave my bed! First good nights sleep in ages. It’s obviously not a miracle fixer but definitley provides some relief and comfort – perfect until I can afford a new mattress. It’s nice and soft and just thick enough for me that I can no longer feel springs poking into my back. Great value for money!
I’ve done months or research on what topper to buy. I bought an expensive Sealy mattress which was just too hard and apparently you need to wait 6 months to ‘break’ it in, however, it is still too hard and extremely disappointing. This topper has come up on a number of reviews in google as being on the more budget end which you automatically think, its not going to be any good … I’m glad I carried on researching through the reviews!
I wanted to write this after the first night but thought I’d better give it a few more just to be sure but it hasn’t disappointed. I suffer from sweating at night so what drew me to this in the first place was the air part in the middle. Whilst it is 6 cm pulled out, you squish together and its not but it doesn’t need to be as it adds that extra layer of comfort. My bed feels like a cloud, soft and light and I haven’t suffered from sweating (like when I tried the foam Panda – which is meant to be amazing and was sooo hot).
As mentioned in the title, for a good mattress and needing some extra comfort – this does the job and its doesn’t break the bank like some of them!!!

My mattress is so firm, you can feel the springs which makes it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Attached the topper to the mattress & it makes such a big difference.
It has warmth & it’s comfortable. I can’t fault it !
We have a memory foam &, spring mattress which is too firm for me. With this topper on it has made such a difference and to be honest I was a little sceptic.
Fits well and doesn’t move or make me sweat when sleeping.
Inntially I didn’t think much of this and was going to return it but after, approx, 3 weeks it seemed to be better. Not as fantastic as the sales pitch but better than before.
Our bed was a too firm, my husband and I were feeling lower back pain upon waking. I was a bit worried at first, after reading the reviews here saying topper was too thin or not comfortable but that’s not true at all. As long as your bed is not too old or too soft, this topper will definitely help. Honestly, the only downside for me is I sleep too much cos it’s so comfy.

I have back pain and hip problems and have been having very bad nights sleep as my mattress is too firm and puts pressure on both though it is only six months old . Once I put this onto the bed I had the best nights sleep I have had in ages and after two nights my back pain was noticeably improved – really recommend this.
Bought this product for a more comfortable sleep and it did just the job! Was softer than expected however it still gave the comfort I was looking for.
Since we will be moving in a few months I didn’t really want to go and spend the money on a new mattress just yet and then have to lump it to the new house so I bought this topper in the hope it would add that extra bit of comfort just to see us through until we do move. It has definitely done the trick and is still plump after a bit of use. I would buy one again in a similar situation and would recommend to anyone else who is just looking to get a few more months out of a mattress that maybe isn’t completely buckled but just starting to show signs of age.
With this mattress topper I have been able to sleep better. I have a good quality mattress it was just too hard and felt like I was sleeping on a pile of bricks. The added airflow wasn’t great in winter but has been awesome in summer. Would recommend if you had the same issue as me, however I doubt it would help much if your mattress is worn.
I bought this as I have a Tempur memory foam mattress and it was just so hot! I was hoping a bit of airy space between the mattress and me would help. Not only was I a comfortable temperature, sleeping on this topper was like sleeping on a cloud. I don’t usually sleep all the way through the night, hot or not, but I slept for over 8 hours and haven’t woken up all stiff like normal. Also super fast delivery! Quicker than estimated!
I used this over the top of an orthopedic mattress. the firmness of the mattress is not lost even though the topper is soft. I liked the reusable storage bag too . I have tried a memory foam topper in the past and this silent night 600 mattress topper is way more comfortable. I wake up each morning with much less pain and stiffness.
don’t be deceived by the fact that it is polyester filling. it has been well made and designed and I would definitely have another when I need a new one.
Have now bought this for two beds, definitely worth the money.
A back injury means I struggle to sleep on anything but soft mattresses comfortably and it this topper makes such a difference.
Second purchase was to go over a John Lewis memory foam topper that really wasnt doing the trick.

I am really happy with this topper, it’s very boofy and comfortable. It’s warm but not too hot and fits well under normal fitted sheets. I am happy to recommend it.
This topper ia extremely soft and comfortable. Basically it is a quilt what covers you mattress but dont be put off by that because it is, in my opinion, better than many memory foam toppers in this price range and it also dose a good job at keeping you cool on hot humid nights what some memory foam toppers cannot offer. Hovever this would not be suited for an old mattress and hope this will make it new again case it simply wont but if you are looking to take your newish mattress to the next level of comfort i highly recomend.
Good mattress topper for someone who has an uncomfortable mattress. I bought this for my mum who needed a cooling mattress topper as she suffers from heat sweats, and this is not the best at keeping the bed cool. However, it would be ideal for someone who does not suffer from this.
Purchased as my matress is coming to the end of its life, and with being furloughed during the CV19 pandemic, I don’t have the disposable income to purchase a new matress. Happy i purchased this, as it is extremely comfortable at a relatively cheap price. Great night sleep
Oh well… it is indeed a kind of duvet as I read in other reviews, but it’s just perfect, it is what I needed. I had a brand new mattress recently, very supportive, almost too much firm for my bones and I was looking for something to soften it. This item has proven to be the perfect match. This topper is not supportive at all, It’s fluffy and therefore super comfy. The combination of firm mattress and this topper is Heaven.
We have this for our campervan to make it more comfortable and deal with edges between sofa pillows. It is the best buy and is SO comfortable. Folds away decently, better than a memory foam would. The corner straps are great and we have had it come off at all.
Well worth the money, you can’t cheap out when it comes to a good nights sleep!
This fits very well for a normal double bed size mattress in terms of covering the whole area of the mattress. It is quite thick in terms of how much sits on top of the mattress, with the thickness being almost as much as another medium duvet over the top of the mattress. This can make it very hot to sleep on, plus will mean if you use fitted sheets, these may not fit as effectively due to the height the topper adds to it. Otherwise, very nice product.
Likes: good price point; you can really feel the difference with this topper on, and it’s very comfortable; easy to attach to your mattress; very quick delivery.
Dislikes: I have this on a standard single and I feel like it’s just ever so slightly too small all round, so the sheet has come off after some tossing and turning.
I took a chance on this as i was unsure if i should replace matress or get a topper. This exceeded my expectations . Its so comfortable and goes in washing machine . Love it . Do it . Best night sleep ive had in ages .
This is the second one I have bought as I stay in two places. This one was the deeper one and really helps as my current mattress isn’t great and I suffer with a slipped disc/ sciatica. This has really added some extra comfort for a better sleep and is fantastic for the price. I have bought cheaper mattress toppers that weren’t great at all whereas this one and the other one I have are really good and have lasted months.
The Silentnight Airmax standard double topper fits our double sofa-bed mattress, and with the plywood sheets over the frame (on top of the uneven springs) now providing a level base for the mattress the end result is surprisingly comfortable and not too hot.
One should always remember that a topper is never going to be able to compensate for a lumpy or worn out mattress, but it is excellent at softening the surface of a good but too firm one.
The extra thickness of the Airmax is well worth having, it seems to make all the difference over the more basic offerings closer to 2cm or 3cm. We considered the extra-deep Airmax at 6cm, but this standard Airmax at 5cm thick is good enough.
In our application the Airmax softens up a sofa-bed mattress that is just a bit too thin and firm for a good night’s sleep, and saves us buying another bed we will not be using much and have no space to store.
The topper packs away neatly in its case and can be lost in or on top of a wardrobe or cupboard.
It is worth looking out for offers as the retail ask seems to vary wildly, currently almost double what it was when I bought this one a few days ago.
I bought an expensive brand new firm mattress which was good but felt just a bit too hard. By adding the mattress topper it has kept its firmness but there is now a layer of comfortable padding between me and it. The bed is 1.6m x 2.00 so the topper doesn’t quite reach the ends but it’s good enough and the elastic straps keep it in place. I rotate it every now and again to make sure it doesn’t compress too much on one side, but so far (3 months) it has kept its shape. This is an excellent product for the price and does exactly what it says it does. It can also be easily machine-washed.
Needed this to keep two single “truckle bed” mattresses together when made up into a double bed. I was hoping that this cover would ensure that the join between the two single beds would not be felt when sleeping. It works a treat! The elasticated corners keep the mattresses in place and it’s extremely comfortable. Thank you Silentnight!
The mattress was great, just a little too firm. We bought this inexpensive topper to see if a topper would help, and haven’t looked back. While we’re still up the middle of the night with the kids, at least we crawl back to a comfortable bed. This topper stays put, it’s easy to wash, it maintains its bounce, it helps regulate temperature. Thoroughly recommended.
This topper is everything I’d hoped for, soft & with downy feel. I have put my electric blanket under it which works well.
I only received this yesterday & so have had one night sleep on it.
The speedy delivery was excellent as it arrived in time for the coldest night yet.
My only minor criticism is that it’s a small double & does not quite reach the sides of the mattress completely.
I am amazed how much a difference this has made to my sleep quality, like others I am so glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews as this has worked an absolute treat. This is a very plush and plump mattress topper which does what it says on the tin, the mesh promotes air flow and fit the double mattress perfectly. I don’t suffer from any orthopaedic ailments but I could immediately feel a difference. It’s astonishing what a good mattress topper and good quality pillows can do. Would certainly buy again should the need arise.
This topper mattress is not as full and expansive as it appears in the description.
It does add a very light layer to an uncomfortable sofa bed mattress but it remains to be seen if the light comfort continues after more use
Could feel every wire in my cheap 2yr old mattress. Was waking up every morning with alsorts of different back and neck aches and pains. Would also get extremely hot. Couldn’t afford a new decent mattress so went with this. Best thing I ever bought! No more aches or pains or stuck neck, no more sleeping on a wire fence, it’s comfy but not so deep that you sink into it and seems to keep me much cooler at night. 10-10 for me at 35, new mattress would cost 10 times that.
bought as a gift for a Childs bed who hasn’t been sleeping through the night. They have made the cheap mattress vastly softer and more padded and, combined with new duvet and pillows, he sleeps like a log. You can see from the side view how thick it actually is, and from the stitching how well made. Its also surprisingly cool for something so padded, although heavier people may condense the padding, allowing led air flow.
I bought to put over a rather solid orthopaedic mattress I had bought to give some cushion to it and it did the trick without cancelling out the mattress. As both were slumberland they fitted on top of each other snuggly and had elastic straps to secure to the bed so was easy to put on and didn’t move about. Left to air for a couple of hours after getting out of the packaging it was sent in so that it could air and get the air in the pockets so that it was at maximum pocket for comfort.
Its an excellent was of making an orthopaedic mattress work in comfort very relieved.
I bought this in the hope it would help with controlling my body temperature, as our Simba mattress makes me hot, especially during warmer nights. It has helped with making the mattress slightly more comfortable but I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the temperature. Summer may be the best time to update the review. It obviously flattens when you lay on it but for the price is good value.
A great topper but disappointed as the king size ordered was narrower than the mattress by about 150mm? The edges formed a ridge under the sheet a cost cutting no no! Should definitely be wider– have now found the king+ which answers all of my previous concerns– A great topper!
We absolutely love this topper. It’s soft and very comforting. It also doesn’t make me hot which is a huge plus. It fits nicely on the bed and doesn’t move in the night. Sleep has definitely improved but I can’t say that it has provided any pain relief. I have arthritis and can’t see how any mattress topper could affect the pain if arthritis. I will probably buy another one of these for my guest bedroom.
I bought this mattress topper as I kept waking up with backache despite having a fairly new, memory foam mattress. The topper is brilliant but I do turn it once a week as I am a single person in a double bed and it refreshes the side I have been sleeping on. When I have the money I do think I need to invest in a better mattress. However, in the meant time, this topper does the job very well and I would recommend it. I do not know whether it would fit in my washing machine so I cannot comment on how it appears after being washed. I bought extra deep fitted bottom sheets but I do not think I really needed to as the topper is not as thick as I was expecting. I can confirm it has really improved my comfort and sleep quality.
Brilliant for the price, I saw this come 3rd in a review and the two above were far more expensive so we gave this a go. We’re using this over a brand new mattress which was a touch too hard and it’s made a huge difference. Just enough give to make it comfortable. At this time of year (Oct) I can’t say it makes any difference to the heat of the bed.
Amazing product. Cannot rave enough. Got two more after purchasing this one for all the family. One is on a futon, one for me and my double and one for my daughter.

Its beautifully soft and comfortable much less back pain. I did buy it because memory foam was making me uncomfortable and sweaty, this has made absolutely no difference on that problem so for comfort and pain relief it’s great, but for keeping you from feeling hot and sweating at night it actually doesn’t work at all.
Adds a layer of comfort to my medium/firm mattress. Previously had thicker one on which I found too soft and too warm. I felt this one was just right for me, and didn’t feel like I overheat, compared again to my previous one. It was also thin enough that I didn’t need to purchase deeper fitted sheet than the ones I have.
As mentioned in another review I would advise you not to buy this if you want to add it to an older mattress (it’s not thick enough for that – you need a memory foam one if you have a lumpy old one) but to rejuvenate a newer mattress and allow your body to breathe at night this is perfect.
I am in early menopause, suffer from chronic pain and fibromyalgia so I sweat at night due to my medications and my memory foam mattress was leaving me soaking. This has added another layer of luxury and comfort to my 3 layers (see photo!) and last night I definitely slept longer and deeper (using my smart watch) and apparently was snoring away for the first time in months, so 5 stars from me. An absolute bargain in my opinion.
I left it to air for a day just to plump up before fitting it, shaking it regularly which I will now do once a week when changing the sheets to revive its plumpness.
It certainly adds comfort to old mattress. For various reasons I can’t replace the mattress, and this topper made a huge difference. It’s soft and comfortable, though it doesn’t do much about heat, though it claims to. Well worth the money for me.
Regarding the size – I’ve got the “double” size and I think it’s a bit smaller than double. Can be stretched, though, and the difference in width was insignificant.

After putting it on and getting into bed it has completely changed how the matress feels. It fits the double matress perfectly and when lying on it, it really does feel amazing. Before having the topper I was struggling with the heat but it does actually do what it says it does the mesh around the middle of the edges is well made and does really let the heat out so I have a much better sleep experience and means I can get more use out of my matress before I have to replace it I bought the air Max pillows as well and very happy with those as nice and plump and again regulate the temperature
I would say this topper merely adds some warmth and a slight bit of extra cushioning to a mattress. It is by no means the best topper out there but for the price, you can’t complain. It is quite thin and when you lie on it, it feels like lying directly on your mattress with some cushioning around you.
I have arthritis and find I could feel the springs on my mattress which probably needs replacing. Cannot afford a really good one just yet and this topper has made all the difference. It was really easy to attach ( these things can be difficult if you have arthritis) and I find it really comfortable. It softens the impact of my quite hard mattress.
Okay, I admit I thought it would be a bit firmer, and I understand why other reviews say it is little more than a duvet. But what I will say is that it fits my single bed perfectly, and is breathing new life into the bed itself. It is very comfortable and you will feel relaxed, even if you have an afternoon nap as I do. So I personally like this product. As for durability, we will have to see. But you won’t feel springs below you. I think this is a great purchase – might be too hot for summer use though!
If I had to criticise this I’d say that it’s just a touch small for the mattress but that’s not enough to stop me getting another for another room. It feels so soft and comfortable but doesn’t change the firmness of your mattress. It is so comfortable! It still fits under my usual sheets and attaches securely to the mattress. I’d definitely recommend it and I will be buying one for my spare room too.
Ordered this despite some negative reviews and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The item was on sale but would have bought full price. It makes my lumpy bed at uni feel like heaven. I can’t feel the springs anymore and actually woke up without a stiff back for the first time in months! Definitely worth the money, even if you’re a student like me weighing up whether to do a food shop or buy a mattress topper! I guess it depends on your preferences and what sort of thing you’re looking for but I love this mattress topper haha!
We bought this for a new mattress which was a little firm. This topper made a big difference. I have arthritus in my back so trying to get a mattress to suit is difficult, the topper helped add a softer surface whilst keeping the firmness. I was struggling with my legs on the new mattress this definitely helped.
As you can see from my first picture, I got this to cover my memory foam mattress following online recommendations. I have difficulty sleeping on a night because my mattress is too firm and memory foam holds heat much more than a regular mattress does. It doesn’t help that I took off my mattress cover too because the fabric was bobbling and leaving strands of hair like thread all over the place, on top of being able to feel the bobbles whilst I laid in bed. Long story short, the heat from the mattress was unbearable and often I try to sleep without a quilt because of it even in winter with no heating on.
So I chose this one specifically partly because of the brand but partly because of the airflow system it apparently has in it. I honestly don’t see how its going to help since surely when you lay on it, you crush the part thats letting air in it anyway? I really feel like its a gimmick but I will be updating this review tomorrow once I have had a nights sleep on it.
The fabric feels decent quality cotton, its not thin and easily torn like some reviews said about other products. I feel like I got my moneys worth so far (bought on sale at 25.49) but I wouldn’t pay full price for it because I don’t think I would pay that much for any mattress topper, I would just get a new mattress instead. The padding inside resembles that of a thin quilt, its not lumpy at the minute but I do feel like over the space of a month or two, its going to be completely flat.
Overall, so far I would say on the sale price at 25.49 it may be worth it but full price don’t bother. Even at the sale price I don’t think its going to last long enough to make it worth the cost but I will update in the future if this changes.
UPDATE: So this adds a little bit more comfort to your mattress, but as I mentioned before its no different to putting a quilt on top of it. It doesn’t stay right up to the edge very well either when your laid on it and it pulls towards the center when you lay on it. If you sleep close to the edge of the bed I suspect you would feel the edge underneath you as you sleep.
As for actual help with my sleep issues? Well… slightly but not very much. It is definitely cooler than just my memory foam because it holds heat much less and it is slightly comfier but as I mentioned above, the air gap in it is just a gimmick. The reason it holds heat less is because its a fluffy quilt and not as densely packed, nothing more. Personally if I had the choice to buy again now, I would just get a quilt and use that.
We thought we may have to buy another matt for the guest room, not an expense you want close to christmas.
However we only need to refresh our guest room bed, and it has….
So much so I like it better than our main bed.
Its a lot cooler surface than our Latex mat, really impressed. Lots of ave matts have limited lofts this enhances the surface.
I sound like a salesman for silent night I’m not, just over the moon.
This has made it easier to get to sleep and to get back to sleep when I wake in the night.
I put it on top of my memory foam which has helped not get too hot.
I didnt expect much from this because I previously tried using a duvet with the memory foam, but it is better.
The only downside is the sheet looks a bit bumpy with this underneath.
I’m suffering with piriformis syndrome and wanted some extra padding to go over my memory foam mattress. It’s really helped and my bed is so much more comfortable. You can notice the fact that it’s airy when lying on it which is quite novel at first – could never revert back to the mattress alone now. The other plus is the washable aspect – comes out of a spin in a decent state – the elastic straps allow you to hang it on a long radiator to dry and doesn’t take too long eithe
A great mattress topper alternative to memory foam. Good level of padding and the airmax system really seems to work.
What I like:
I bought this over other toppers that seem to be more like a mattress protector (too thin) or memory foam (too hot and sweaty).
I was expecting the Airmax technology to be a bit of a gimmick. This is a venting system through the topper that allows air to flow promoting your thermal comfort. The topper is like a firm duvet type material which provides a good level of extra padding and comfort. It works well to even out a lumpy mattress and makes the bed more comfortable. I was worried that this quilted type of material would be too hot but it isn’t – the airmax works really well allowing air to flow around the body.
What I don’t like:
Nothing of note.
Final verdict:
Fits really well and the Airmax really works so much more comfortable (temperature wise) than a memory foam topper.
Initially I thought it was a bit too thin and wouldn’t give an extra softening to the mattress. But upon using it I found it to be a good addition. Sure, more expensive toppers would probably give better support, but I found this to be a good addition and gave an extra level of comfort. Not a drastic change but enough to keep using it.
Having used this for over a week, I can 100% confirm me and my partner are sleeping better, and waking “well rested”.
My partner is heavily pregnant and this has worked wonders for her back and her general well being (which is a thumbs up from me).
If you are looking for a decent mattress topper for a great price, I would definitely recommend!
