An integral part of any household, office and workshop, the Silverline High Pressure Washer 1400W makes light work of domestic cleaning tasks. The two sturdy wheels allow easy manoeuvring around small spaces and awkward areas, and the long power cable provides plenty of reach.
The 5m high-pressure hose, lance extension and trigger gun with adjustable spray pattern means you can reach higher areas and use the washer for a variety of surfaces and objects. The lance features a variable high/low pressure nozzle and a detergent dispenser nozzle for different types of cleaning tasks.
The maximum pressure of 105bar and 408ltr/hr flow rate means this pressure washer is ideal for washing vehicles, windows and doors, and outside areas such as decking, patios, driveways, paving, and outbuildings and other external structures. It powers through debris, dirt, moss and leaves, with the air-cooled induction motor providing reliability and energy efficiency.
An auto stop/start feature automatically activates and deactivates the high pressure cleaner every time the trigger is operated, making it easy to use and handle. The self-priming pump allows the pressure washer to operate with low-pressure water sources such as water butts, as well as standard mains supply such as water taps.

I wasnt expecting a lot, buying a cheap pressure washer. the last cheap one I bought worked once, then started to dribble like a teething child. i tried holding a baby I borrowed from the street, and wouldn’t you know it, my car was cleaner so I thought it time to replace it.
Silverline is a brand i have bought many diy goodies from, so I thought at the minimum, would get a minimum pressure of a dog peeing against my wheel and I was impressed. It cleans with a force that actually removes dirt and grime, im fairly certain it could put out a fire. depending how my next MOT goes, I might end up re-reviewing this with an update!
now the bad bits… expectations of volume weren’t high, it is a bit loud in use, but to be honest, for the price, I can’t complain too much, my ears dont bleed but there is certainly a bit of ringing afterwards if I stand too close.
And the snow foam lance, is quite simply useless. i tried 100% down to 10%, hot warm and cold water but in the end, all that came out was water that shined like it had tiny pieces of hail coming down with the rain. I resorted to mixing it up and then pouring it over the car with a microfibre glove.
I have however discovered that the dimensions of this nozzle are the same as the Nilfisk bayonet fixture as used with the Nilfisk Alto washer, so I have purchased a snow foam lance with a Nilfisk bayonet, which I am hoping will shower my car with foam like the scene from Scary Movie where Bobby becomes nothing short of a volcano in the bedroom.
That said, despite the voluminous explosion of scary movie and the hope of repeating this on my car, I feel reassured that by swapping the lance, its entirely possible that I could not only clear the eruption from my car my new snow foam lance makes, but that it will be cleared off with a shining car that gleams so brightly that I can park it next to a cliff and use it as a lighthouse, and all that snow foam will be blown all the way back to that fateful bedroom back into 2001.
…OK so it wont time travel, but, it will do a good job for less than a handful of trips to the local overpriced hand car wash.
Now, I am off to watch scary movie again and see just what a snow foam lance output should look like.

I have a 4000psi petrol pressure washer that was bought for cleaning a lot of concrete flags. Trouble is starting it up to wash the car annoys the neighbours and its a pain to use for this purpose.
Enter this cheap pressure washer which is perfect for this purpose and as long as you’re patient it’ll clean flags just fine too. Very very quiet in comparison to my petrol one also so as long as I get a good few years use out of it this review will stay 5 stars

I can’t truly rate it yet because I can’t fit it to my tap. I bought two different connectors but they don’t fit. It’s my tap that seems to be the problem so, I’m waiting to get an outdoor tap fitted.

Very good machine I use to work cleaning and I have no problem by the moments I’m using it for a bout 2 months already and I’m loving it !

Did the job well enough on out patio, and steps. Also cleaned the plastic patio set.
Cheaper than getting the man in to do the job, and good fun once set-up.. Bleed the water through before powering up.
Useful for the car as well, especially the wheels. Easy enough to set up. Reasonable length outlet hose and mains cable. Good warranty.

I was faced with a blocked paving drive that had not been cleaned in over ten years – grim, dirt, weeds and although the cars are well kept there might have been a smattering of oil – the Silverline 1400w pressure washer was more than a match, the drive way spans about 10m wide and is 5m deep.
The first chore was to jet out the old weeds. sand, earth and dust that had collected between the bricks, then was each brick, it took about 5 seconds to absolutely clean each brick – I spent 2.5hrs on the first day and 5hrs on the second day. On completion of the cleaning I sprayed weed killer left for a day and then calmly swept 80kg (4 bags) of kiln dried sand to fill the gaps – the result – a clean driveway which was capably renovated by this small compact Silverline washer – I was surprised and happy with the results. It was hard work but cost a lot less than the 500 {10 per sq m) i was quoted locally.

It’s a power washer, it does the job. One thing why it’s not 5 is how flimsy it all looks and feels, like it’s going to break apart, but with care I think it’s going to do its job. The foam gun works fine.
