Great Lamp with all below qualities.
A good solar camp lamp should be highly portable and easy to carry around, so you can take it with you on camping trips or other outdoor activities.

The lamp should be able to operate for several hours on a single charge, so you don’t have to worry about it running out of power when you need it most.

The lamp should be able to provide enough light to illuminate your campsite or tent, but not be so bright that it disturbs other campers or wildlife.

A good solar camp lamp should be durable and able to withstand the rigors of outdoor use, including exposure to rain, wind, and other elements. It should also be easy to set up and use, so you can get it going quickly and without any hassle.

This is a rather impressive and well made portable camping light. It’s certainly a lot better than I was expecting it to be and has been put together really rather well. Here’s a quick summary of my findings.

The portable camping light has been constructed using predominantly high quality and tough ABS plastics. It feels durable and solid, and to be fair, I actually dropped this unit after around just a week of use onto a tiled floor from a height of around 6ft. I am pleased to say the light just bounced and kept on working without a single scratch, dent or ding showing. I was genuinely expecting the fitting to at least crack or for something to be rattling around inside at least, but nope, it still looked and worked like a brand new light. That was pretty impressive for an unplanned and impromptu test (don’t deliberately try it yourself at home though).

The light has two power options for you. The first and most likely one that will be used is it’s rechargeable internal battery system. It comes with an inbuilt 1200mAh lithium battery that is charged by micro-USB. I would have preferred a more up to date USB-C charging option but it’s not a deal breaker. You do receive a micro USB cable in the box to get you going. Now, an added feature of this light is that the internal battery also doubles as a power bank meaning you can top up the charge on your phone with this lamp whilst simultaneously using it as a light. That’s pretty neat. Probably not a feature I will utilise much but it’s helpful to have for an emergency backup should the need ever arise.

This tent light has 5 different lighting modes to choose from. Three of the modes cycle through different output intensities: strong light, medium light and lower power lighting. The remaining 2 are flash options of which one is the ever obligatory SOS mode. I personally don’t like these options included on just about everything nowadays and I do find myself wishing more and more that manufacturers included these as a separate switch option to avoid you having to cycle to rough them. Fortunately in this case the manufacturers have circumvented this by providing you with a remote control. The remote has a range of approximately 5 metres and has a good suite of buttons for you to be able to control all aspects of your light. It’s basic but does the job well.

The light features some small solar panels which sit neatly on the backside of the light (the side that would naturally expose to the sun if you are to hang it). Having this additional charging option is highly convenient should USB power not be available. This gives the light a lot more versatility and means it would be one of the first lights I pack on camping holidays going forward. There are 4 indicator lights adjacent to the solar panel which show you the power remaining power levels left in the unit. They indicate 25% 50% 75% 100% power remaining. It’s a simple and useful quick visual guide. The manufacturers claim their light will run for anywhere between 6 and 48 hours of use (depending on which brightness setting being used). So far this seems to be about right based on around a good solid month of use for me.

The light is IP65 waterproof so you could leave it outside should you wish to and rubber grommets keep the USB and other connecting points nice and watertight. A small hanging hook sits neatly on top to allow you to site the lantern pretty much anywhere you need light. It’s a great light and highly portable being ideal for camping trips, fishing trips, use in the garden or patio or even as an emergency light in the home. There really isn’t anything to dislike about this light and I really can’t find fault with it all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone and genuinely feel that it’s a good quality product presented at a very reasonable price. Perfect!

Highly portable and versatile and a superb off grid lighting option.

Charges up even at the slightest bit of light. Gives a really good bright light. The hook is handy so you can hang it where you need it. It is lightweight but well made. Does the job perfectly. Very pleased with it.

This light is amazing as it can be solar charged or USB charged. It is waterproof and has a remote control. An led light indicator will tell you power level and it has 5 light modes from low to flash. It can also be used to charge your cel phone or other devices and comes with cable. Very lightweight but durable. Amazing product and great quality.

Ideal light for camping or an outdoor area that needs a good injection of light without needing electricity.

The light is solar powered and has a good sized solar panel on top for good charging. It also has a usb point so it can be used to charge your phone in emergency cases.

The unit is sealed and even the usb has a good sealing cover so it can be used in the rain if necessary.

It has a little hook on top so it can be hung up if required.

The light itself is very bright and does light up a room or outdoor area really well, the light can be put in to different modes so full on or flashing etc.

This item is nice and light so can be used in the middle of a tent to light it up while camping.

    Definitely recommend for camping

The light is bright and has a hook so it can be hung above you. The spread is pretty good — it would fill a small to medium sized tent.

It would be handy at home for emergencies and power outages.

You can control it with the remote control — I liked the ability to reduce the brightness. It also has strobe and SOS mode — you can decide for yourself how useful that is!

You can charge it with the supplied cable but it also has a solar charging feature.

However it is described as a powerbank; my phone has 4700mA battery so it won’t get near a full charge from the mere 1200mAh this has. The best you can hope is to be able to get enough charge to make a call in emergency if your phone is flat.

A little unfairly perhaps, it loses a star for the poor utility as powerbank, if it was not described as such it would have received 5.

I love a good light for camping. This was easy to charge and had a really good brightness to it. I like the remote, which means no more getting out of bed to turn the light off or keeping it by your side.

Very lightweight camping light but it gives off fantastic light at night
Remote control a bit of hit and a miss but apart from that this is perfect for camping

Good portable size, lightweight, easy to charge through solar or USB or powered by a powerbank. Good battery life. Easy to operate and with remote for convenience. Great for camping or to have on standby in the garage, house or car for emergency use as it if it’s charged, it can also charge a device so handy when you need your phone charged or a usb device powered in times when electricity source is not available. Good source of light with adjustable brightness. Good value for money.

    Portable

This is such a great and highly portable solar light. It can be charged in 2 ways- from main by usb cable or via sun light. It can be remote controlled for comfort or the light modes can be changed by pressing the button on the light itself.
This light has a bonus feature-it can be used as back up power bank when phone gets low on battery.
The light modes offer range if brightness plus sos flash light in emergency situations.
Light is well designed and can be hung on somewhere like inside the tent, on the slim branch on the hook in shed, and many more places depends on needs and situations.
Solar powered light gives us piece of mind that even when there is no electricity around, we still have some chance to charge this light by sun light. This is veey helpful during camping or when electricity gets cut off. Obviously the charging time is much longer then from the main socket, but still this is better than nothing. Sometimes this small amount of power I’m this light can get from sun, it can charge our phone and help save life if something happens..
Overall, I’m a big enthusiast of solar powered lights and I think this light is worth having.

This is pretty impressive camp light. It’s bigger than I expected and very bright. It has few light modes -bright, medium, low light, strobe and sos white light. We can see battery level by the blue lights visible near the switch button.
It can be charged by sun light when hanged on tree branch or simply displayed to the sun light. It also can be charged by micro usb cable (provided). I like this light because we can charge our phone in emergency situations. That’s big bonus too, but if we have different phone connection, we should get suitable charging cable to fit our phone.
Light looks great and is well made. It comes with remote control which is handy thing to have.
I can recommend this light, it’s great and works at least 6 hours on full brightness.

Great light to have when camping
