my fav cam. the solar panel works perfectly. easy install, app is ok. you dont need to pay a subscription, but make sure you have an SD card. got a 64 GB one off here for under a fiver….more than ample!

Having purchased this security camera for my stepdaughter, set up was really easy,the camera images were excellent. I found it very user friendly and I would think it would be easy for most people to install. Wifi connection was achieved in seconds, pir sensor seems to work well with the added bonus of setting the area of activation. I would recommend this camera.

Quality product. Clear picture, notification every time a bird arrives on the feeding table (see photo). Easy setup can view on both our iPhones anywhere.
Got two of these for the house, it is solar run but works very well despite the Scottish weather. Easy to pair with your Wi-Fi and phone. Excellent after sales team, assured me of a replacement after one of the cameras had an accidental issue with the charging port. Can’t recommend it more.
Good camera, good day time picture night vision is a little grainy but it’s good enough, connects & maintains connection to the wifi well, as long as you fully charge it before you install the solar keeps it fully charged
ight vision could be better and the motion detection is very sensitive even when set at the least sensitive setting. It was easy to ft and set up once memory card arrived, I have not used the Cloud option as that involves a subscription. However i was able to link it to my desktop computer where i save images in a 1tb hard drive.
Purchased 2 of these Units to cover both front & rear of Property.
Installation was a breeze and the Phone application was very informative and user friendly, so much so that I purchased another 2 Units to cover my Parents & Partners properties.
Out of the 4 Camera’s I’ve purchased, 1 of the units developed a Fault. Customer Service was very prompt with their response and offered possible solutions which unfortunately didn’t work so they replaced the Unit as a whole, Free of Charge.
Cannot recommend this product enough for peace of mind with household security.
great home CCTV system, easy to set up and easy to install.
The unit operates as it is described and in trials, indoors, it is very good. I tested it indoors prior to fixing it outside as instructed. My only concern is that even though the unit is sold for outside use, it also says that the unit can have problems if left in continuous bad weather. What is considered as “continuous bad weather”, a day, a week, a month etc. Only time will tell.
Once charged via USB, although the gloomy winter days the solar charger has done well. Setting up the camera was simple. However, I haven’t figured out how to integrate with my current system, work in progress. Good, simple to use camera.
This is a reliable and good quality solar power CCTV camera. We have three of them.
These cameras do not record all the time, but when detecting movement. It is important to read the guide to get the best service when positioning the camera, configuring motion detection, the length of the recording and the position of the solar panel. You can purchase usb cable extensions to find a more convenient location for the solar panel.
These cameras run powered by a battery that it is charged by a solar panel included with the delivery box, it is important the location where you place the solar panel and the angle of the solar panel facing the sun. Please note that on raining or overcast days the solar ponel charges the battery although is likely a bit slower the charge process, that was a concerned I had when we purchased the first one, so when we noted it was okay then we purchased the other ones.
The camera’s battery is recommended to be fully charge once it is delivered to you. Even if you do not plug the solar panel to the camera (such as to test its location) the battery should last on its own for a long time.
Battery life depends on many factors such how often your review the recordings, if they are located in a location with loads of activity. Furthermore, if you get the optional cloud subscription like we did; this will also affect the battery life because instead of storing the videos in the (not included) memory card, it will send the HD (optional configuration) recording to the Yeskamo cloud. In in our case if we had to run the camera with only its battery (meaning not connected to the solar panel), it should run for almost a week.
The night recording image quality is great.
We had a fault with one of the devices, after contacting their dedicated team; we had a replacement (reconditioned) camera. Yes, we are happy with the response time and replacement.
What is not so good about the device? Two issues:
For us the fact that you must use the mobile phone app to access the features is a minor incovenience, it would be helpful to be able to access the service via a web browser.
The warranty of these cameras (like most suppliers) is for just one year, the Amazon extended warranty is for accidental damage which is no good with these devices. The first one we purchased is almost two years old (it will be in May 2022) and (I am using as I type this review because I am expecting a delivery from Amazon) it is working as good as the first day.
It would be great if you could extend the warranty to three years (Yeskamo this could be an additional option that many clients like me would be interested in having).
So, should you buy this solar based camera?
Based on our experience with three of these cameras for almost two years and having an issue with one of them that needed to be replaced by their after-sales team, yes we recommend to purchase them.
These Yeskamo solar cameras are reasonably priced, have a great app and have such reliability considering they are exposed to the elements including freezing cold winter nights and very hot summer days.
For the price a great camera and seems to charge the batteries ok.I use it for a holiday property just to keep an eye on the roof solarium. One camera manages the whole roof and you can zoom in on my phone so would recommend only down side is you cannot rotate but as it has a very wide angle lens it was not worth the extra and i guess one thing less to go wrong.
If you are looking for an outdoor camera where you don’t need to worry about battery life, drilling walls, moving electric cables, that has great quality day and night, that shows image over wifi and it is also smart to send you alerts, THIS IS THE CAMERA YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
Note that this camera is not a recording at all times type of camera, it records based on movement detection. You can set the sensibility for this feature, so that you cam catch all or just close human movement. That is great when you decide to look for something as you don’t need to stay watching the whole thing.
The installation is really easy, the solar panel works perfectly, as I always see the battery at 100%, even accessing the camera few times a day. I’ve waited couple weeks before posting this review and no problem so far.
Make sure the camera is well covered by your wifi range (above 50% signal – the app will show you) and it should be all fine.

The picture quality is amazing. I charged up the camera via usb and checked the WiFi worked which it did. When things went missing in my garden I was able to back track to see what happened. It goes back quite a long way (128gb SD card) so I have been very happy. I had someone install it for me. The little screw that attached to the solar panel and it’s bracket did not work so we had to improvise. Then after about 4 weeks I was notified by the camera that there was no charge. The solar panel or the connection is not working and unfortunately has to be returned. I’m quite annoyed as Amazon offered a refund rather than a swap as it was a reduced price! So it means that I need a new one and have to pay someone to fit it again (I’m scared of heights) . It’s starting to add up financially!
An edit to my first review…I moved the solar panel and it’s now charging! Not sure how well it will charge in winter. The camera is placed on the south facing wall of my home. I am happy with the camera although I appreciate it might not be everyone’s favourite especially those more technical than me. I will up my rating of stars now to 4 purely based on my concern for winter and dull days.

The installation was easy too – I installed mine to overlook back of house. With the solar panel charging during the day so know need for wiring into the house. Configuration and tweaking was as easy. All in all, this is a great product for the price, good quality video, with the ability to talk and hear from who on the premises. On standby with motion detector alerts to your phone. Night visor work great so clear. Playback very clear and can screenshot.
This camera was worth the money. Tested it in the house while I was working away in barrow in Furness, which was a 150 miles away, works fine with the app. Also got the cloud back up , which was only 22 a year.
Easy to fit & charges it self when theirs sunlight or just bright light.I use a 128g sd card no cloud contract here.The motion detec is cool & vol in or out is cool.I was impressed being 12miles away from home & could still see my home live ! And still have a chat & see cool ! And cool red lights showing at night, clever item, some pics took.
I have used the camera for a couple of months now and find it very useful indeed. The setup was very easy and, while it is a shame it uses a dedicated app, the functionality of the app is intuitive and effective. The solar panel is a bonus for keeping the battery topped up. Finally, I have been very impressed by the customer service from the Yeskamo UK office. They have dealt with a query I made by email very well indeed.

Looking for a quick, simple security addition to your home with a fit and forget approach – then this camera could be it. Out of the box, set up and installed in minutes. Has worked brilliantly since with great image quality both day and night, early indication of approaching people and timely alerts. Only downside is it does affect other PIR devices like security sensor lights sited nearby – not a fault of the camera just how the IR technology works – overall very happy
In Oct 2020 I ordered a Yesmako Solar powered security camera. Pleased with the performance I ordered a second one in NOV 2020. Both were working fine with very good picture quality. The Cloudegde App which connects to the cameras is also excellent.
In March 2021 one of the cameras stopped working. I contacted Yesmako customer service and they immediately replaced it with minimum fuss.
I therefore feel I have had an excellent experience with the cameras and after sales service. I highly recommend this product.
This worked well and was a purchase recommended by a friend after we had reports of intruders in gardens and trying car doors. However the only issue I have with it is that the microphone is sensitive to wind noise, not a problem for us as we just use it to keep an eye on the cars in the street and to monitor who comes to the door. If you were using this for 2 way communication such as a door viewer I would put it where wind noise is not going to affect it. The app for Android phones works well, but what is lacking (hence the 4 stars) is a decent PC programme that allows downloads.
This camera worked perfectly for about 7 months. As it is in the open air in a coastal area the mountings and screws started to show signs of corrosion. I demounted it and cleaned up the rusty parts, greased them and then remounted the camera. From being a fully functional camera it wouldn’t restart. After trying various things YesKamo recommended, they are now sending me a new unit. When working this camera was excellent. The after sales, Julie at Yeskamo Uk has been extremely helpful and hopefully a box will arrive in day or two to resolve the issue. Not sure what “sheerness” in the features means so left that blank.

Brill bit of kit. Picture quality in daylight was brilliant,was expecting a quality drop for the night vision but I’m pleasently surprised…very sharp pictures. The ‘intercom’ is a nice addition, even if the speaker is pretty quiet but the mic on the camera is very sensitive. Definitely buying some more to replace my hard wired kit.
I bought this camera mainly because i live in a neighbourhood where criminality rate is high but i recommend to everyone,no matter how safe their area is. This camera is nice and easy to install. It is wireless and comes with a good size solar panel. Great quality images both in daytime and nighttime. Installed on the front of my house,gives me peace of mind as it “keeps and eye” both on my house and my car. I would have loved it in a different colour to be less noticeable but this is not an inconvenience,is just preference.

This wire free solar camera is designed perfectly. It looks very neat when installed. And the video and pictures are very clear. . The night vision is really clear. I am very impressed with the overall quality and performance of the camera
Recently went on holiday to Portugal and was able to check on my garden and front garden.
It is important to remember that this device is only as good as the permanent home WiFi network you pair it with, and also, you need to purchase and install a micro SD card or pay extra for the cloud storage function to meaningfully record video. That said, the web-based philosophy makes viewing and control easy world wide via the YESKAMO CloudEdge “app” for smartphones. Having tailored it’s motion trigger threshold and recording times to my needs, I find it an excellent addition to my home security for minimal cost.
The wide angle lens gives astonishing coverage and the colour imagery is of outstanding definition and colour contrast. The monochrome low light imagery mode at night is less impressive and so the 4 star image rating. But don’t expect everything for nothing; only a few years ago high end military systems offered less low light ability for 100x the price. What this camera system does for the money is quite outstanding.
I’m so impressed that I intend to buy another – that’s the best recommendation I can make.
This is an easy to install camera.. Only 4 stars as you have to use it’s own cloud storage or your SD card. All my other cameras I use send pictures to my ftp server to be stored, I can not do this on this camera so will not be buying anymore until the software is updated.
The camera is well made and sturdy. The solar panel is OK and seems to work well enough. The lens is very wide angle, which makes detail a bit vague. I have it looking at a small pond to see comings and goings. A less wide angle lens would be better, but it is Ok.
APP is really easy to install and easy to share with others
My drive gate is a good 100m away from the nearest router. I have a TP-Link M series Mesh Wi-Fi system but even with 6 routers its a struggle to get signal through when the house is basically a Faraday Cage with foil backed insulation everywhere. I have one router in the garage to connect two static cameras to, but I really wanted a camera at the gate where there is no power supply.
I saw this camera, it apparently ticked all the boxes, boasting two antennas for improved Wi-Fi performance. However, I had my doubts a battery powered camera could connect to a router 100m away, at least not without some form of help by way of an external repeater.
I was wrong! Walking with my phone connected to the camera showed decent Wi-Fi all the way to the gate, very impressive. But my luck would surely change when I mounted it on the post, that’s how my luck usually goes. Again, I was wrong, I ended up with 55% Wi-Fi connection which was rather unexpected.
The camera arrived with one bar down on the charge scale. Since then we’ve seen only brief sunny periods but mainly overcast. Since fitting 48 hours about, the charge scale is at full. That bodes well to how it will perform in the winter months, and even if it needs the occasional boost I can charge it using the USB cable supplied from my 10,000mAh power bank.
As for function, I’m still not entirely sure. Sometimes I tap the app to show the camera and it shows disconnected, but that might be how it works. What it does seem to do is “wake up” when it senses movement, so that’s actually perfectly fine so long as the movement sensor works well, which it seems to do.
There seems to be lots of functions available, auto save to SD card and the Cloud, though the Cloud service is a payable service that maxes out at $160 for a year saving 30 days at a time, there are cheaper options available saving just a few days if that’s what you need. Remember if you choose the SD card route and the camera gets stolen, you end up with nothing. There’s a 7 day free Cloud trial so you can see what you think.
The instructions recommend mounting under cover even thought its rated IP65 which means “Protection against low-pressure jets (6.3 mm) of directed water from any angle (limited ingress permitted with no harmful effects).” so I would be disappointed if it gave up the ghost through water ingress. Only time will tell on this one and I will report back if indeed it does pack up due to water ingress, but for now, it gets rated positively.
The app for iPhone works fine, no glitches. Sadly you can’t connect to Alexa, this would be the icing on the cake if the camera’s movement sensor would push to the Echo Show range, any chance of this happening Mr Manufacturer?
So it’s so far so good. I can’t fault it at this moment in time and hope it stays that way because if it does, its an utter bargain and you should buy one!

Connectivity with my phone works lovely! I can monitor, or just check when there was motion detected and see pre-recorded footage of what was happening.
Definition is high! The quality of the footage is pretty good. I can clearly recognise my workers. I bet that would work well for thieves and the police. I also noticed that during the night it has little red lights that make you look at the camera. This way you can fully see the face of someone. Plus the nightvision helps tons!

So far the camera works well and feels well built. Battery life will be the important test.
Setting up the camera is simple enough and it does come with the mounting hardware you will need to do so. There is an APP you can download to view the footage from your phone. It is easy to use and make sure to get your camera connected to your WIFI. As this is battery and solar-powered, you won’t need to keep it plugged into the mains. The advantage is, you can place it in much better places. Battery life should last for quite a bit and as you got the solar feature, that should top it up as well. The footage looks decent and I been viewing it live from my phone. I have got motion set up most of the time and it sends me alerts when detected.
This camera feels sturdy and well built, the power is provided by a modern type solar panel and the main unit has a much greater battery back up than most of the competitor.
The image quality is pretty good and surely more than adequate for my needs. The App installation is really straightforward and the instruction provided are really easy to follow and very clear. From start to finish it toke me about 5 minutes to have the software running and the camera showing up on my phone.
All App options are also easy to control and the camera appear to have a very strong and reliable WiFi signal.
I will monitor the reliability with regards of the amount of power provided by the panel and I shall update the review if I ever have any issue but so far I am truly impressed!
So, I would highly recommend to get one solar pedal wireless cctv to protect your home, also, I will remind anybody make sure you have valid storage card insert in the camera otherwise it will record nothing after disconnect.
