Great controller for use on either PS4 or what I use more commonly which is PC (To optimise use of controller on PC you may have to download software). However I do use the controller frequently and therefore stick drift becomes noticeable after around 6 months of use (Use from around 5hours a week) and the controller needs replacing after a year. Otherwise good solid choice and far better than fakes.
It’s no different to the original controller he has, comfortable and sync’d to his PS4 easy enough.
It turns out there was no issue with the original controller, but rather the cable, which wasn’t charging the controller properly, so now he has a spare controller.
This does what it’s says on the tin. But I am sick to the back teeth of Amazon delivery driver just leaving parcels on my door step. My property has no front garden, and this is 50+. If it wasn’t for a friend walking past my house I wouldn’t know it was there. My area unfortunately is not in a good place and crime is very prominent. A simple knock and wait would suffice

I very nearly didn’t purchase this item because of reviews but I’m so glad that I did as it is genuine and very good quality ! It’s the only official ps4 controller I could actually find as no one seems to sell them new anymore.

I really didn’t fancy spending this much for a PS4 controller but having tried 3rd party compatible versions, it was clear that it’s best to stick with the original. Primarily because the others just don’t live up to expectations and you regret saving money.
Plus these are from Amazon so the 12 months warranty is nice to have.

Please realise this isn’t a negative review towards the seller, but a negative review on the quality of the official Sony Dualshock controller itself.
Cannot fault the seller on their delivery time as it arrived promptly, factory sealed, brand new and appropriately packed.
The product itself however was faulty from the get go; thumb sticks suffering from stick drift and not springing back to their default central location and after a while it seemed the square button was constantly being pressed down though it wasn’t being touched. The controller doesn’t feel as sturdy or heavy as the original black/grey controllers, the plastic seems flimsy and in places the light from the light bar bleeds through at random places on the body of the controller. Poor craftsmanship from Sony. Got maybe 4 weeks use out of it before the square button incident made it completely unusable.
The ps4 controller arrived 3pm the next day I placed the order 7pm the night before, as advertised Brandnew boxed and sealed and I’m using it right now and very happy, spent most of the pandemic running around like a headless chicken going from store to store with all out of stock and only ones available were pre-owned and buying them pre-owned all because I wanted it the same day and not much faith in online shopping but now I’ve changed my mind thanks to this store. So thanks guys for fast delivery and quality product and I definitely recommend you guys and I will shop agai
Bought this for my daughter’s birthday. She was devastated as the triggers failed to work correctly, she’s only used it once and as it’s over the 30 days returns policy. It can’t be returned. So please avoid buying a fake controller or rebranded rubbish.
Like anything you have to pay a premium for the genuine img, no difference with this. It is a bit costly compared to others but it will last longer and work better.
This was an extra at Christmas and so far has worked great, charges quickly and the battery lasts a while.

Great controller
Slightly different from the other ones that came with my PS4, but in a good way. Adds variety as the highlights are gray instead of a fully black controller, plus with the backlight coming through the top of the touch pad, games like GTA5 that take use of the colour change really stand out more while playing.
First off in these reviews there’s a lot for the controllers purchased from different sellers. With this I purchased from the seller EVERGAME.
I was hesitant at first with a lot of the suspected fakes in reviews but I needed a controller for next day delivery. I did research and in these reviews some compare to there “legit” controllers, however from my research some would say there “legit” one is a fake.
I ate the apple and ordered since the original that came with the console broke as it was approx 6 years old. Some would say the one I received is a fake according to my research, however I did a serial number check on Sonys site and it seems legit.
I’ve had it just under a week and the quality is good, its all working as expected.
Standard DS4 controller, Great product and it’s a pity they will be replaced by the duel sense over time. Hard to find right now but the best option on the market.

Probably my favourite controller I’ve used so far (having used the GameCube controller, Xbox Duke, Xbox Slim controller, Xbox 360 controller, Wii Controller, Steam Controller and Switch Pro Controller). Feels sturdy but light in the hands.
I don’t actually own a PS4, so I use it on my PC. Does it work? Yes, surprising well – on Linux and Windows it’s plug and play both wired and Bluetooth. It never has to interact with a PS4, it just works. On Linux, the touch pad acts like a mouse/laptop touch pad enabling 1 and 2 finger tapping as well as 2 finger scrolling. On Windows it acts as a standard gamepad (I don’t play on Windows so I can’t comment on compatability)
The only issues I have with it are: the blue light is very bright and not sure how to turn it off when in use, the shoulder buttons are too small in my opinion – controller would have been better being sightly wider and have larger shoulder buttons and the thumb sticks feel very slippy even though they’ve been designed to be grippy.
And no, it’s not a fake. I don’t see why a faker would go to the length of lifting genuine stickers or replicating them, and the Sony branding is in the right places. If it was manufactured by a fake then Sony would probably have some legal ground to stop the production of these products, and seeing as this is a pretty popular listing (controllers are frequently sold out) someone at Sony is aware of it. So, to reiterate, it’s not a fake. I’ve no reason to believe its fake. In fact, on Linux when I probed the device for its information it returned information you’d expect from a genuine controller BIOS (something along the lines of ‘Sony Interactive Entertainment Controller’, a fake would probably return ‘Generic Controller’, ‘Wired Contoller’ or something similar)
Hope this helps your purchasing decision – 50 is not a small investme
The pad I received is definitely a genuine Sony PS4 V2 pad but I made sure it was sold directly from Amazon and not a third party seller. Haven’t used it yet so can’t comment on performance or drift but I just want to reassure people that if it is sold directly from Amazon it will be genuine
Original ps pad so no complaints. I have never used an after market pad so I have no comparison. It works great every time and lasts for years, so I see it as a worthwhile expense to enjoy my gaming.
Controler is beautiful in white, delivered fast, works perfectly like the original.
Perfect. Bought 2 at separate times and both are the same. Used with a pc for gaming via Steam. Plugs in with usb cable (not supplied) or can be used wirelessly with gaming adaptor (also not supplied – one required per controller) and relevant software (not part of this be available free on the internet). Works great both ways.
As I started to use this & the left analog stick is drifting upwards this is a common fault I’ve asked for a refund & after a little wait i was granted one thanks selle
From where do I start I got this on Christmas on 2020 when my parents got me a PS4 slim fifa 21 bundle when I looked at Amazon today on Boxing Day on my mums account and saw this with games for the PS4 I saw it was used and was a bit uneasy because I hadnt used it yet but when I opened it it was in terrific condition and I couldn’t believe how good this item was and looked new and worked

Great product, been using it for a month and it’s not faulty yet.
After only a few weeks I noticed a missfire from the analog sticks. It would randomly move when I was no where near the controller. Completely unusable now for gaming, can just about load the right thing on Netflix.
It works…yesssss for 30 can’t beat it…some high street retailers charge 50 for pre owned

What more can you want from a controller!!! No faults whatsoever. Brand new, nice matte colour and a version 2 model. Definitely would recommend.
This will be my first time writing a review but I felt I needed to weigh in on whether or not these controllers are fakes.
Firstly I bought mine new, with amazon prime delivery and it arrived midday the following day (impressive as I live in the middle of nowhere) and secondly if this is fake it’s such a good fake that the point is kinda moot. Some reviews state that their controller came badly packed in an unsealed box, this was not the case with mine. Other reviews state that the controller didn’t work well, again not the case with mine.
Honestly I think this is the genuine article and if it’s not it’s good enough that I’m not really bothered. As for longevity right now I’m not in a position to comment, all I can say is that if an issue does occur I will update this review accordingly.
To all the people who’s controller won’t connect, you need to connect it via the Bluetooth way, I’ve seen a lot of people saying it won’t do anything via usb plugging in. Make sure you have some sort of controller to get to the settings on PlayStation then devices then Bluetooth devices, hold down share and the on button on your controller until the light starts to flash then it should pop up on your screen saying DualShock 4 then connect that.
I bought this as a second controller and was a little worried about the “nearly new” condition it would be in. Well I shouldn’t have worried because it works perfectly, no damage or worn marks on the buttons, sticks, pad, lights and speaker.
I am now unable to tell the difference between this and my new controller. Thank you
Half the price you normally find genuine dual-shocks selling at and only 50% more than the fake ones (which don’t fit any of the charging cradles). They do not come with a USB cable and would not sync with the first three I tried and only finally when I found a thick one that came with an old controller – so do persevere if you get that issue yourself.
Really good buy since having been trying to find a good ps4 controller in white. Square button became harder to press requiring more pressure than normal over the course of sometime but very playable still

As described a perfect PS4 controller brand new! I’m the price is a tad expensive so just the 4 stars, but I suppose lockdown has resulted in a higher demand hence higher prices!

so my old controller got stick drift (your character moves at a direction without even moving the analogue stick) and it got annoying.
feature i notice is that the controller i got was less glossy and had a more of a matt finish

Not much to say really. If you’re familiar with a PS4 controller, this is it in a sexy pink colour.
Its a genuine Sony controller and works great as expected and the rose gold is a nice change from the black controllers everyone else seems to have. Colour is exactly how it looks in the pictures.

I ordered this controller after a few other places were unable to come through on their orders due to everyone else wanting a controller for the long weekend it seemed. Came upon this beauty, and with an expected delivery date that meant getting the controller in time for the long weekend. What do you know, it came on top and it looks great and in a colour you don’t often see on PS4 controllers.
It does exactly what it says on the box. The DualShock 4 is a great controller so there’s not much to review.
Cheaper than most retail stores and very fast shipping. Even during COVID-19, an absolute lifesaver that I got quick delivery before the lockdown started!
Great addition to son’s Christmas bundle. He needed a new controller and this colour just really pops out and looks classy. Works well and feels good ergonomically.
Very good product overall, has the premium quality of the dual shock 4 which is amazing. The only problem i found was that the buttons were slightly less clicky compared to my original DS4 controller that came w/ the PS4. This might change after i start using it.

This is exactly the same as the one which came with my PS4 Pro kit, so very pleased.
Only use genuine ps4 controllers and these were on for around 30 which I thought was very cheap. You don’t get the cable (I don’t think you ever do which is a bit poor) but I have a multi charger so not needed anyway. Not a lot more you can say really. Arrived on time, in good condition and as expected.
Does what it says on the tin, can’t complain! The controller feels a little heavier than the last gen one and I do notice a longer battery life
After the death of the controller that came with my ps4 I had to lay it to rest and search for another. This controller works perfectly and has allowed me to return to smooth gameplay, instead of hitting what look like invisible walls every few steps and crying lots of tears the analogue stick keeps getting me killed which I was previously stuck with. I’m no controller pro but from what I can tell the product is legit and works perfectly for my ps4 gaming and video binging needs.
The quality of PlayStation controllers gets better with every new model and release. These latest v2 controllers are fantastic. A bit pricey, but fantastic.
This product is well built and efficient.
However I do have one complaint.
No USB charge cable, you’ll have to purchase one separately.
Otherwise the Dualshock 4 is an excellent controller for the PS4.

You can tell this is an official charger and not some cheap copy off the internet. The buttons n joypad sticks are smooth as butter. Plus it looks Awesome in white…
deadzones are terrific and no problems what so ever unlike the first product i exchanged this for (Xbox one pad).
I will update the review if any problems occur in the future.

Fantastic controller that works as intended. I have used it for a decent amount of time now and have had no issues as you would with most controllers such as thumb sticks wearing out or buttons not working as designed.
No complaints at all and a fairly reasonable price.

This controller was just what I needed.
My old controller (that I got with my ps4 in 2013) was not working properly. The left joy stick would get stuck or move on its own and the rubber on the joy sticks was falling off.
This new controller looks and feel better made. The material on the joy sticks feels tougher. This makes it so your thumbs don’t slip off the joy sticks so easy, and less likely for this material to peal off.
If there is a bad thing about this product, it is that the controller was not fully secure in the box. It was not held to the plastic sheet with wire, so it would tilt forward and backwards. But it did no damage to the controller so it’s not a big deal.
Purchased of the warehouse so a little cheaper. It arrived in a good looking box without a manual hence the cheaper price. The O button was a bit sticky though but got that sorted in 20 mins with a youtube video. Amazon was great offering support. My little boy is really happy with his red new controller. It’s a genuine one so don’t be put of by other buyers. They’re not all fake 🙂
This controller is a gorgeous colour. Just so nice to use and to look at. Bought it as an extra controller for my black PS4 and it’s so nice.
My son goes through more controllers than he does hot dinners. This was bought to replace one that was thrown at the wall during a game of FIFA. Excellent quality. Fast delivery!
I bought this when it was the same price as a black controller. They are exactly the same except for the colour. I have no idea why white paint is so much more expensive than black paint. I assumed it was magical white paint, but sadly not. The gaming experience is identical to any other Sony controller. Looks different, but really not worth the additional cost.
These are clearly not built to last, any PS controller I am referring to, they all seem to break nowadays whereas the old PS2 ones are still working like new
This was bought as a present for my brother and he thoroughly enjoyed it as it was black and grey with a light at the top of that square pad in the centre of the controller, it works fine however the outer box was damaged (Not due to seller) however seller kindly rectified the situation.

Works well on PC via a micro usb cable and some free software.
Controller itself feels extremely good in the hand and the buttons feel premium, much better than the Xbox equivalent in my opinion.
The white is lovely and delivery was exceptionally fast for me. Cant comment further as its identical compared to other controllers of different colours. So if you like it. You’ll like this.
I needed a second remote but they were always too pricey, thankfully this came down a lot so I took the plunge. I’ve always loved the white ones. I really love the light bar you can see from the front now. It’s only a small detail but makes a lot of difference, my older remote doesn’t have that. Love it and works excellently.
Needed a replacement controller and bought this charming princess.
No more will i push my thumbstick in to run just to end up doing a hop,skip and jump then leave match. I can now run with confidence.

It’s a relief then that for this new generation the Dualshock controller has become perhaps the most ergonomically pleasing and comfortable controllers I have ever used. Every issue I had, from the triggers, proportions and grip have all been fixed and perfected in this controller. It is that good.
There are two downsides though. The first is the touchpad, it’s a gimmick and awkward to use. Thankfully it’s use isn’t mandatory in most of the games I’ve played. The other? The lightbar. Even though software updates have allowed you to dim the brightness it is still too bright and frequently is visible reflecting off my T.V. when a dark image is displayed, thus ruining immersion. Hopefully these issues will be resolved with the Dualshock 5 when the Playstation 5 is released.
Overall, this is a wonderful controller that has put Playstation on top of the mountain for console controller ergonomics and usability.
Some people find the light on the touchpad for these new style controllers annoying but I don’t mind it at all. I really like the camo pattern, something different. Didn’t realize how desperately in need of a new controller I was until I got a new one and used it side by side with the old ones! I really like buying stuff like this from Amazon. Sure you might save a couple of quid going elsewhere but the aftercare from Amazon is too good, any time I’ve had issues with something electronic they’ve been really quick to replace it or sort out my issue.
Bought it so we could play Borderlands split screen. I like the new edition of the light bar coming through the touch pad and it works fine.
Definitely better than a cheap controller from a cheap company.

I have to admit, the light bar on the front is such a nice little feature. Has a better feel than the older model, but I’m not sure if they’ve made any major changes. Regardless, who doesn’t like a new DualShock?
Quality item but had large scratches on the top of the pad. Not too bothered though
