Was able to dead hang and adjust position to do rows, solid pull up bar for the price.
It works perfectly and I can easily exercise with it without being scared. Also can be moved to different positions, like lower it quite a bit and do many different exercises without the risk of it falling. I weight 155 pounds right now (not for long!)
I got this pull-up bar for my son who hasn’t been able to do pull-ups in his apartment because he had the type that hooked over your molding and it was damaging the walls. Yikes. He wanted a bar that was self supporting and could be placed independently in a doorway without screws or hardware. This bar does the trick. He did say that it was “a bit of work” to get it secured in place, but once done, it supported him securely (he’s about 170 lbs). He trusts it to stay in place without damaging his doorway.
When we bought it my kids tried to attack it themselves. It wasn’t tight enough and it fell on my child leaving the open wound on her eyebrow. Even admired few stitches, it didn’t stop her from using it daily. It’s Breda a month since we own it, my kids can do pull ups at ages 6 and 7. It definitely not a waste of money. Great thing that we recommended to the best friends who purchased the same one. Very like it.
Easy to level, easy to install. Make sure you tighten it before testing, as it needs to grip the door frame. Been using mine for over a month – 205 lbs and no complaints. Sturdy. Doubles as a convenient clothesline if you need to hang no-dries.
I have wanted a pull up bar for a while. I didnt want to deal with screws but I wanted something sturdy and well made, and something that can be easily taken on the road.
This pull up bar is excellent. It comes completely assembled, just find a doorway and you’re set. It took less than 2 min to install. Just turn the bar to extend it, then lock it in. Kind of like a lot of the shower curtain bars 🙂
I’m pretty lightweight but the way this bar just sits in the doorway, I believe the product description that it can easily hold 400lbs. I tried yanking on it with all my weight and it just sits there without budging at all. I definitely feel safe and not worried when doing pull ups that the bar will slip out of it’s place.
I also love that there’s no assembly required. just take it down, throw it in a bag and take it anywhere you go.

Consider this: my neck is kind of frozen in a position that’s almost all the way forward and to the left, and I pretty much can’t look up at all. However, I had no problems installing this in just a few minutes. It sure is nice to get rid of that other big monstrosity I used to have up there, lol. I almost never used it because I wasn’t very confident that it would never fail and fall. This one is a lot better but I still worry a little sometimes. If this isn’t going to give you enough peace of mind though, I have seen other bars out there that are just the bar, that come with installation hardware so that they are screwed into the door frame. This one here should be enough for most folks though.
Easy to use and install; used for pulling, pushing and decline push ups etc. Female, 135 lbs, holds my weight fine.
I was afraid of the bar slipping once I put all my weight on it but it holds up very well. It hasn’t budged and is solidly constructed. I’ve only had it it 1 day but so far so good. Will update if anything changes.
I needed a new pull up bar that was higher than my doorframe and I came across this one, I gave it a shot and it’s honestly been my favorite piece of equipment since I’ve gotten it (couple days ago). The mechanics of the bar is really sturdy, I’ve been paying close attention to it since installing and it’s definitely been holding up with ease. I definitely recommend
J’ai fais une recheche comme vous tous sur les barres de traction ici sur Amazon et j’ai choisie cette barre Sportneer. Je me suis pas tromp car elle solide, facile installer. Les bulles niveau sont trs pratique pour bien allign la barre.
Le prix est aussi gnial pour cette barre qui tient solidement au mur. Pour la qualit et le prix , je crois que cette barre de traction deviendra la plus populaire d’Amazon. N’ayez aucune crainte d’acheter cette barre bas prix, elle est gnial.
J’avais un doute sur sa qualit car son prix est bas comparer d’autres barres mais maintenant je ne doute plus. Parfait et trs utile pour son prix !!
