Brill
Ps5 must have best head phones ever sound good out of box
Easy set up and ready to go out of the box
Straight out of the box into the computer no need to tweak any settings for gaming, overall quality is great. Sound quality is crisp and mic sounds grea
Great product. ❤️
It’s perfect product. My son love it. Noice cancellation, wireless, just great. Thank u.
Great buy 🌟
I purchased these headphones for gaming, the sound quality is great and the noise cancellation option is wond
Great for gaming but no Bluetooth
They do work wired and wireless with a USB-C dongle.
The sound quality is great, the option to adjust the volume chat/game is great.
Software is a bit rubbish but the beta equaliser is great thing. I’ve played COD, Borderlands 3 and Tomb Raider and other games and the spatial sound was grea
Love the headphones
These headphones are amazing. My friend had recommended this to me. So glad they told me about these, Sound quality is great in general and for gaming. Not a waste of money, will definitely recommend this to people who are looking for good headphones.
Now, I have been using the arctis 1s for a while now and I must say that from my experience, this is one of the best budget gaming headsets, sound and comfort are excellent, even if the build quality is not the best. And now for the 2 minor cons, cable is quite short, and there is no cable splitter included, but this is to be expected as it is a headset made for console’s
Work hard play hard
These headphones are amazing. I use them for work, where the switch to cut off the mic is super convenient and the mic quality is great, or so I’m told. The amazing audio quality is also great for gaming and music. Getting this was an excellent bit of consumerism.
Great stuff !
Bought these for my son. He absolutely raves about them. Nice and comfortable to wear, Very light ,expandable band ,clear sound quality foldable mic. What’s not to like ?
Pretty good!
Confortable and decent headset. This is not the best sound or mic quality I ever had but it’s quite good. And I never realised how much I needed wireless headphones!
My first gaming headset. Really impressed. Can hear things I never heard before!
Also works for music with my phone and pretty good.
Great produc
Very comfortable and easy to use only downside is the dongle blocked the USB port on ps5 so had to use USB adapter but that is included .
Good sound, good noise cancellation. Sometimes I get a buzzing noise which I don’t know why, maybe it’s a wire problem . But overall very good and comfortable headphones
Feel cheap but fantastic headset.
Plastic feels a little cheap and software is still in beta, but they’re super comfy and have great sound in my opinion. I like that I can use them with nearly all my devices and the surround sound works really well with my PS5 and with Halo Infinite on PC.
Personal Earphones
The dongle that came with the earphones was not the same one featured in the instructions and was not synced as indicated which took time to set up. Apart from this, the sound was excellent and very easy to use with its own volume control. Interference is almost eliminated making the earphones very personal.
Went through a number of cheaper options including two Xbox wireless headsets (painfully tight and had a buzzing noise in both on Xbox SX), in ear ear buds (too uncomfortable and buzzed on SX), Apple wired earbuds (buzzing and mic wouldn’t work on SX if I remember correctly) and got fed up.
Decided to spend too much (160), but these are excellent. Brilliant sound and mic quality, no buzzing on wired or wireless on SX. Work with my IPad perfectly for pubg mobile, wired and wireless. Completely comfortable (although every so often they hurt my left ear if they’re in a certain position Edit: they no longer hurt at all a couple of months later).
There’s no sound cancellation (it does block out background sound a little), but I see that as a positive because I couldn’t get used to not being able to hear my own voice when talking online with sound cancellation sets.
Brilliant headphones.
Purchased these approx a year ago now and they are holding up strong.
Footsteps are clear as day
Far away collectibles that jingle sound like they’re right next to you
Music is loud and clear, as are movies etc
Mic is perfect, picks up your voice but barely any background noise if positioned correctly
Battery lasts 4/5 days or an entire weekend which is convenie
Bought these for my daughter and she loves them. Found them easy to set up and the sound quality and noise cancelling are excelle
I have been through a few headsets and can safely say this one is the best one I have owned.
Great for gaming, but not great for listening to music. The sound quality is good but the bass does not go very low, no presence below 50hz. So for music not very good. But for gaming i find them very good for long duration gaming the do not fatigue your ears which is probably a possitive about the bass not being so strong. Mic seems good. Not had any complaints from friend, and the mute button is very useful for blocking sneezes etc. Range is reasonable and battery life is very good. Overall very happy with them
Great: Syncs with Series X effortlessly, Syncs with PC effortlessly (with Microsoft Dongle & Bluetooth), Really comfy even during long gaming sessions, The sound is great (way better than the official Microsoft headset), Great for knowing what direction an enemy is coming from, Pull out microphone is really useful when just playing SP games, being able to tune your mic monitoring through the headset is great. Also these look nice, not to gamer(y) so you won’t look like a nerd wearing on public transport etc.
Neutral: Can edit equaliser settings, though it has to be done through the PC app.
Bad: Sometimes pics up my breathing, even when mic isn’t close to mouth. Having to plug into PC and modifying equaliser with Steelseries Engine, Micro-USB.
Here is a list of headsets I have gone through before finding these and loving them.
Logitech G Pro X Wireless
Hyper X Cloud 2
Steel Series Arctris Pro and dac (wired)
After using all these headsets I always found something that I didn’t like from the sound to the comfort.
This headset for me has everything, the sound quality in game is very nice and seems very balanced.
This headset also comes with a USB C charging port and beta access to Sonar which is the new EQ software which is very good in my opinion although it can bug out sometimes.
If you are looking for a headset I would suggest trying out this one.
Positives
– Sound quality is very good
– Very comfy compared to others I’ve tried
– Sonar software is very good (comes with the headset and works with the Arctis Engine)
– Better wireless length then others (I can go in the kitchen and still hear)
– I don’t charge this headset as much as I did the g pro x wireless which is nice
– USB C Charging port
Cons
– The Mic doesn’t sound the best but it’s passable (I don’t use the mic anyway)
– Sonar software at first was buggy but it seems to have settled down for me
I admit these are not exactly ‘cheap’ headphones, but I wanted a set of headphones that I could use on my XBOX as well as PC, and to be honest, 99% PC use is how it is.
Previously I owned a pair of TB Stealth 600’s which were good but unfortunately decided one day to just not power on ever again, and so thinking the Stealth 700’s would be a good upgrade, I got those – but they were too ‘tight’ on the head if that makes sense!
This review is about 3 months after purchase, so it’s given a bit of time to get used to them.
I went with these along with a Microsoft Windows dongle so I can bluetooth it to the PC, and have been impressed ever since! I haven’t tinkered with any settings, just tend to use it for COD:MW online custom games with friends, and the sound is fantastic, I keep looking over my shoulder to see if my partner is in the room, as the sounds just come from all angles!
Battery life has been fine, stability fine, I can’t say I use these constantly, they are used 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of hours at a time, but they have been solid.
Would recommend!
Great for gaming, amazing sound and really easy to set up
Simply exceptional
I was exceptionally lucky to pick these up from Amazon Warehouse, unused with minor box damage while the was 20% off, so got them for a pittance really
My luck aside, I’d happily have paid far more for them, comfort and quality are superb
No active noise cancelling, but how many truly have?
I know there are better, newer Arctis headsets, but these really do the job very well indeed, sound stage and mic quality are ‘on point’ and genuinely assist my gaming
It’s likely always cost dependent against quality for many, so if you spot a deal, don’t hesitate to snap them up
Hope this helps someone
What’s not to like? They are possibly the best headphones I have had to date. Brilliant crisp sound quality for ever use. I haven’t had any problems setting up or using them. I charge overnight and they run all the next day for me (not constantly, around 6-10 hours)
I use the headset everyday and the wireless feature lets me get stuff done while chatting and listening to music.
The mic quality is also really good, i use it for streaming as i dont want a big boom mic and the quality is grea
Very comfortable audio is perfect in FPS without a amp or mixer mic is really good for a headset mic battery is unreal
Owned many mic’s before for gaming but my last 2 have been this mic (dog chewed my last one) don’t think I’d ever own another mic now would deffo recommend
Great headset not a clue were the noise cancellation comes into play though as i would love to cancel out my girlfriends moaning!
Comfy headset light and doesn’t heat your head up to 100 after long hours gaming.
Mic seems great i don’t even have to pull the mic out of the headset for it to sound great.
Send me free stuff thanks.
This is perhaps one of the most versatile headsets I have ever owned. Not only does it use lossless wireless, it also supports a bluetooth connection so you can connect directly to your phone or laptop without needing the transmitter base.
It is very comfortable thanks to the strap that at first I almost did not want to buy it due to the strap. However, strap was easy to adjust (far easier than I expected) and it only took me two attempts to get it just right. The strap also makes the headset feel a lot lighter on the head as you do not have anything hard pressing resting on the top of your head. The earpads bend all sorts of ways so you can get that perfect angle you want to have it on your ears to suit the shape of anyone’s head.
Comfort aside, the hot swap batteries work so well, shockingly I do get the advertised +-10 to 9 hours of usage per charge per battery. The batteries charge very fast in the transmitter base and tend to be fully charged long before your current charge is empty on the battery you are using (fun fact: the design of the batteries is pretty much identical to that of the much loved G7 Logitech gaming mouse, so if you have used that then this will feel all too familiar!)
In terms of sound quality this is far better than any headset I have ever owned and I think you actually will not be able to find a headset that can beat the sound quality on this device!
The reason I say that is that the drivers in this headset are clearly designed to perform well regardless what you toss at them – music, movies or games it just can take it and then some!
Using the official SteelSeries software you can get the most out of it though and can setup mutiple set sound profiles so if you prefer it one way for one game or for music and then another way for a different game or for movies for example you can just rightclick on the SteelSeries app and select the profile you have setup in advance.
The sound really changes drastically depending on the settings you put in the app but regardless of settings you can really hear how well these drivers perform. The output is just such a high fidelity regardless of what you are listening to that nothing can outperform this headset.
There is also a clear distinction when you enable and disable the surround sound not just in games but also even in music. If you are listening to any music that has an orchestral background for example the surround really helps you hear the depth of the orchestra versus the surround off it will sound a lot more bland.
This is also why this headset shines in that any audiophile headset a- will not have a built in microphone (which all my friends on Discord say sounds extremely clear) and b- will not perform equally good on all sound usage. Audiophile headsets tend to perform best at music but then if you give them a game or a movie their performance just is not as good as a gaming headset.
But where previous gaming headsets failed at music, this one really shines especially with the simulated surround sound using DTS X v2.0 it just somehow processes the stereo sound in such a way that your ears perceive it as being far deeper than a regular stereo headset.
I have used other surround headsets but DTS-X v2.0 just is a massive improvement in the technology over previous surround headsets.
The specs speak for themselves if you compare them to audiophile headsets you really see how great the drivers are in this headset added on to this what DTS X v2.0 can get out of them is why so many people rave about this product.
Very easy to setup, great sound, fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Overall a great headset!
Exceptional headphones: eliminates unwanted noise and excellent for team/zoom meetings
Brilliant headset, so comfy on your head and doesnt give you sore ears like some headsets after prolonged use. The mic pulls out of the cup sort of like a wheel based mechanism which is just so cool. And the mic glows red when muted so you are aware, which is also pretty cool
The sound is that sharp I have had a few hacking accusations due to hearing one faint footstep, suddenly turning round and chasing the kill (honest!) Worth it.
The only 2 complaints I have however – The main one is if there is too much wifi interference your headset will keep connecting and disconnecting which is really frustrating.
Example being visiting my parents and my room has the house CCTV in, as well as my xbox, the headset kept periodically disconnecting due to all the wifi interference.
No issue in my living room however.
So not ideal if there is a lot of that or if you have a box room
2nd the volume wheels are located on the back of the headset. If you are leaning back and playing the wheel will move which can result in a nasty loud (or quiet) shock, having to re adjust the wheel mid game is also not ideal.
However after a few adaptations no problems whatsoever. Fantastic headphones for sound and comfort. Totally recommend them from a gamer myself. The bluetooth feature is also.cool as you can hook.your.phone up simultaneously and play music or take a phone call.
But yeah I’m happy
Great headset for long use comfortable well worth the price.
The Mike is not brilliant, we bought a Mike with boom as well
The wireless range on these is incredible.
These were recommended to me by like 5 different people and I definitely do not regret spending a little over my original budget.
I love this headset the only thing I didn’t like is that you can connect it to your phone via Bluetooth, besides that it’s great can’t say anything bad about it you get everything you need in the box and a cable to connect it to your phone.
Right lets begin…
Depending on what sort of game your are using these for i found they where best suited for solo story driven games as multiplayer games i could get used to them, however saying that you can customises the sound for more multiplayer use but i personally struggled to get used to it but besides that brilliant headphones comfy, amazing sound quality, long battery life , easy to set up and all round amazing headset brillaint for solo storyline games.
Headphone are super comfortable, I upgraded from the official Sony headset and I can wear these all day with no discomfort, sound is great, mic is so much clearer and they look great.
Had this headset for a few months now and I can say it’s amazing, using it for minimum 8 hours a day and it’s comfortable, wireless is amazing and I use the microphone as my main mic instead of my fifine t669, great quality build, great features
