A bit fiddly at first the lock is fairly well made and solid enough. What I don’t like is how much give there is when it is almost fully extended and in place with one end around the steering wheel and the other around the brake pedal. I honestly think a good kick or karate chop would see it break in half. Comes with 3 keys, and hopefully the thieves aren’t reading this review. 4 stars because of th price.
I’m of a vintage that I remember having a car with no real immobiliser (it had a short bit of circuit board that had to be inserted into a hole in the dashboard – never seen anything like it since), and no alarm, so I had something like this steering lock on my first car. The difference is my old one just went across the steering wheel and probably could have been opened by someone with skills and a hairpin. This one is much more robust and locks around the brake pedal and the steering wheel.
True, someone with lockpicking experience would probably be able to get past the keylock, but they’d be noticed doing it, and it would cost them a bit of time, which could be better spent looking for a car without a steering lock.
It makes me feel safer and that’s the main thing. Really pleased with it. The lock works really well. Recommended.
This is one sturdy stainless steel wheel lock. It comes with key lock system. And has extra keys too. so, if you loose or misplace one key. You will have a backup. It takes a while to get used to putting the key. As it was a bit tricky for me in the start to unlock the key system. But it is very safe and a peace of mind to have in my car.
The built quality is excellent. It is quite heavy-duty and strong. Using it was simple and straightforward. Will easily fit most car as the bar is extendable. It is durable and sturdy, I expect it to last longer.
Came with 3 keys. Take just a second to lock and unlock. My only concern is that it is aluminum alloy steel and over time it may rip the steering wheel leather (however, I will know better after using for couple of years).
Arrived well-packaged as shown in the attached photos.
The price is reasonable in my opinion.
Overall, I am happy to own it and will recommend.
This car wheel lock comes in a plain cardboard box and inside you’ll find the lock and 3x keys.
The wheel lock is a simple design idea, it hooks under one of your pedals on one end and the other hooks onto your steering wheel. This prevents one of your pedal from being used so essentially disables the car.
It is made from stainless steel, and it does have a mirror finish, but some parts of the hook are pitted but still looks ok. One of the hooks has a plastic coating bit is still stainless steel on the inside. The lock is telescopic and slides out into three parts. The first part, with the plastic hook, can be pulled out and pushed back in without needing the key. This sounds a bit dodgy but it’s not long enough to be used like this, so the key is needed. Turning the key allows the ringed section to come out which then makes the lock long enough to be hooked around your brake pedal. This section is ribbed and it’s this that the lock grips onto when you lock and remove the key. When you first turn the key to the unlock position, a spring pushes the rubbed section out a bit and then allows you to pull it all the way out. You then push the steel hook through your steering wheel from behind and extend the lock to hook the other end under your brake pedal. You can then remove the key and close the lock to clamp around your steering wheel and this holds your brake pedal up, so it can’t be pressed down and used.
In use, I found it quick to put on after a few tries and it stops a thief from starting my car. I have keyless entry and push button start and I have to depress the brake to be able to start the car. This would stop any thief with their usual electronic hacks to starting the car as they can’t depress the brake pedal. I’ve not seen this type of key before, but it slides in the lock easily and works as any key should. I find this easy to store in the boot for when it’s needed, and I’ll continue to use it for peace of mind

I put it on the steering wheel and take out the key.
When I have to take my hands off the steering wheel, it gives me peace of mind when I park the car.

The car steering wheel lock by Auspicious is well-built and looks quite sturdy. It is simple to use and operate.
The lock comes with a double hook system. One end fits on the pedal and the other on the wheel. Comes with spare keys as well. Fits most cars/ trucks.
This steering wheel lock resembles the old Krooklock and works in the same way, going around the brake pedal and steering wheel to help prevent the car being driven away. As with any alarm or lock, a determined thief will find a way to defeat it but a visual deterrent like this could be enough for them to look for easier pickings.
It is supplied with three keys and is simple to fix. You hook the lock around the steering wheel and extend it around the brake pedal and lock it in place. It is quite heavy but feels a bit wobbly until firmly fixed in place. I doubt it will stop the professional thief but does offer an extra deterrent and for less than 22 it is good value.
As with any alarm or lock, if a thief is that determined, nothing will stop them. But a visual deterrent like a flashing alarm or this obvious steering wheel and brake lock could well be enough, as it would be noisy and time consuming to try to remove this without keys.
It’s a perfectly simple premise – hook the lock around the steering wheel (you might want to add a bit of extra protection as it could scuff with constant use) then unlock and extend the device, hook round the clutch or brake pedal and lock again. Job done. Three keys so one can be with you, a spare at home etc.
it’s not the sturdiest of locks which is reflected in the price, and I know you can get full on immovable, unbreakable ones but who can tell from a distance? This is a great deterrent and currently only 22 so a very good buy for extra security.
Unfortunately like most places, car theft has been on the rise where I live and in order to try and protect the car, steering wheel locks are ideal. They’re easy to set up and put on, this one you hook over the steering wheel and over one of the pedals. It also comes with spare keys.
It does take a little bit of practice to ensure you don’t pinch your fingers in it but price wise it’s reasonable and if it protects your vehicle from theft it’s worth it.
First impressions are a good well made lock, I like the silver finish, makes it stand out when fitted.
It’s adjustable, and when north being used, goes to a good size for storage.
One end secure to the steering wheel, and the other to the pedal, lock seems secure, but I’m sure a determined thief would find away to break it, but this is a good way to slow or stop a thief.

Pretty good. Not the most secure – someone with an angle grinder and enough intention will get it off, but it’s a good deterrent, for something small and lightweight that can easily live in the footwell when it’s not in use.
It dents the steering wheel material with consistent use, but they all do to be honest.
In any other circumstance I would recommend the Disklok, it’s Police rated and impossible to get off without a key, however – it’s 130. For the 30 that this costs, it’s worth what you pay. It secures the steering wheel and is a cheap deterrent. I wouldn’t use it on an expensive car, but it’s good for the price.
Decent enough lock for your vehicle
Easy to operate turn the key hook under a pedal in the car adjust the length hook into the steering wheel and turn the key to lock.
The lock seems of a good quality and the bar seems substantial the inclusion of three keys make it useful to have on your keys with you and spares in a safe place.
This is a nice shiny lock that’s really compact when fully collapsed.
The plastic coated end is on a slider that has no lock, so it just moves in and out. Only when you use the key does the larger inner section release. It means you have to fully extend the thinner end first before locking it in place, but is easy enough to use.
Both ends fit thick steering wheels and most pedal shapes, and don’t leave marks. Ideal for cars with keyless entry which are more prone to theft. It’s compact and easy to store away, but well made and very tough. You get three half-moon shaped keys which are quite unique and probably just as hard to pick as they are to get replacements for.

Arrivato nei tempi previsti, si presenta con una scatola di medie dimensioni e al suo interno doppio involucro di polistirolo e due chiavi per il prodotto. Seppur possa sembrare ingombrante in realt molto maneggevole e si adatta a tutti gli sterzi. L’ho provato con le mie auto e anche con quella del mio vicino, suscitato dalla curiosit ed rimasto convinto anche lui ad acquistare il prodotto.

Nel tatto e nell’apparenza pu fare il suo lavoro..la serratura nonostante il nottolino con chiavi piatte lascia a volte sperare nel riaprirlo..la chiave non gira sempre regolare bisogna giocarci..si consiglia di dare una spruzzata di Svitol all’interno
Aunque no es la ms cmoda del mundo, si parece de buena calidad, robusta y segura. La llave es aceptablemente buena y compleja. No es imposible de quitar para los cacos, pero a buen seguro les complicar bastante.
Tra i modelli di questo tipo il migliore in quanto non rimangono parte esposte del volante all’interno del blocco e che potrebbero permettere un gioco eccessivo. Fondamentale la tipologia di serratura con chiave piatta e non la solita a bussolotto.
