Safety wise it will not fire unless pressed up against a hard surface
Easey to use. You can unblock it very quickly and easily.
You have to tap the large nails in a bit but still very good for the price.
Pretty good for the price. Used it to fit a load of architrave and did a good job. just make sure you put plenty of weight behind it if you want the pins to go in flushpractice a couple of times first. If they dont, don’t attempt to hammer them in, they are pins so will just bend, i just used a pair of snips to clip off a couple of protruding heads
Great product easy to handle, use it to nail edging on laminate flooring did great job. You have to apply pressure to get the nail fully in but a small nail punch solves the issue. Having used very expensive nail guns that have the same problem
Good solid carry case
No jams so far
Will use this for shiplap fencing so pleased I purchased this gu
Bought this for assembling bee frames etc. it’s great for the flat edges but you really have to pay attention to the kick back on any surface that is not fully flat ie: Hoffman frames. Often it will not work on corners / edges which is a safety feature but pretty annoying if it’s touching the wood where you want the pin to go.
Lots of size pins work with it (see specs for sizes)
Great time saving device but watch your wood as it will follow the grain and knots can cause pins to divert from where you wanted it to go or worse they can fly out.
safety feature, so as you cannot fire nails unless the item is completely on and pressed down on the item
Good nail gun for the price, the cord is a bit too short and the locking pin kept falling out falling out, a dab of locktight sorted that though
A bit temperamental regarding position to actually fire too
I have never used a nail gun before but watched builders with them. I purchased this product to enable me to pin oak edging to a nearly laid oak floor. In he past I have hammerd pins in and glued, which proved very difficult. The nail gun worked and saved me a vast amount of time and grief. I used pins bu the gun did not insert them fully by a couple of mills, but two taps of a hammer and they are in and flush. For this purposed for me it was a great product and will use again for other pinning and tacking jobs.
Nice little DIY tool. Struggles a bit with 30mm nails and the rubber tip for non impressions does fall off a lot. Jams occasionally when used at different angles, however easy to clear. It’s still quicker than manually tacking or using screws. I had 10 x 6mm and 12 x 12mm ply boards to fix in my summer house and it worked well.
Should have purchased it ages ago.
It great but be patient with it.
There was another disconcerting item within the package namely an official printed note from you
stating that “We hope you enjoy your gift”.
What gift I’ve only received what I have duly paid for, no more,no less!
Despondently yours ModelMa
I have been using this product for about a year now to put up 1/2 boards for ceilings and walls in a renovation that I am doing in our home. The product works fine but be aware of the length of the cord. It is sufficiently short that it has limited my ability to complete the work. All of my other tools (drills, etc) are long enough to work well but this one, at just six feet is way too short to function efficiently. The rubber tip also fell off right immediately meaning that I leave dents on all the boards. On one hand, it works well enough to want to work with it but so badly handicapping that I would not repurchase this model. If you don’t need a long cord or care about small dents, then this is fine but otherwise…..
Great for tacking, much better than panel pins and a hammer.
Lightweight but sturdy, easy to use, makes doing jobs a lot quicker and easier one handed.
Being Christmas , I deserved a nice gift. So the gun. It’s been caressed but no dirty handling yet. Nicely boxed and solidly made it comes with a warning . Don’t put the wrong nails in the gun. So I did…at least the ones that came with the gun… 16 gauge. After some sparks, jamming etc I got the message…..ONLY 18g nails for feeding this baby.
The safety feature ; a sprung nose is good. Tac…ing things before nailing them with screws is my new diy motto. Roll on Spring jobs and “rock a my baby”…!
Not a bad nail gun. You have to apply a considerable pressure to sink the nail flush which can be difficult in certain positions. Also the gun has fired when held in free air which is alarming. There is a handy on/off switch on the handle. The cable is far too short in my opinion unless you only work less than 2 meters from a socket and the case is very cheap and a bit small to fit the cable in easily.
Have never use one before but did a brilliant job I just have to remember to keep a good pressure on the wood when using it as I let it bounce a few times before I got used to it but I’m all good now
A good DIY nail gun, easy to load nails and easy to use
Made my job a lot easier when building the home ba
The product is brilliant easy to use. I use it for my hobbyin making things from pallets.
It was my first nailer so including a few nails would of been ideal. No complaints about the product it’s all good.
Good safety features and effective for what I need it to do.
I do not like the way this started to clog nails in its mechanism after few minutes. It did stop my project for a while to sort out the problem which was the nail that stuck due to rapid fire. Overall, good to home use not professionally.
Only used it to do my fence so far but so far so good. Quick, Easy and effective to use.
I needed a nail gun quickly as my old battery one finally died. I have to say that the nail gun has exceeded all of my expectations and works really well. I have been using 10mm and 20mm nails and have not had a sing failure. whilst fitting the beading around two rooms as well as making some fitted furniture. Can highly recommend. The only issue is the length of the mains lead which could do with being about 1m longer but its not a big issue.
Bought this for a specific job, lining my summerhouse during the present crisis.Worked a treat.Dont imagine I would have been able to physically hammer in a couple of thousand nails by myself.Nail length perfect.Would recommend this tool.
The but is that My machine stopped working after 4 months and that was outside the guarantee period. An expensive too at this rate. Very disappointing
Bought for my other half and he loves it, made the latest diy job so much easie
I bought this to do a little job for a customer of ours. I didn’t expect much for the price but it’s definitely proved itself invaluable and we use it regularly. Downsides are the length of cable and that if you haven’t got enough force behind it it doesn’t sink the nails. But other than that can’t complain.
This is a must for the D.I.Y enthusiast -this is so simple to use and saves hours just the quick press of a trigger -rather than hammering small nails or panel pins into D.I.Y projects or repairing items around the house!
I used this to put a fence up and it did it perfectly.
Loved it!!!!!
I read the reviews that said the nails didn’t go all the way in, press it flush to the wood and it’s all the way in.
Nail guns rock.
Nice easy to use bit of kit
But disappointed it didn’t come with just a couple of strips of nails to get you started…
I read in a few reviews left by other customers who purchased this nail gun that the nails don’t drive home. This happens if you don’t press the gun hard against against the wood being fixed.
Used for making red cedar wood fence panels. It did the job but you have to push hard to ensure the nail goes right in or the recoil pushes back on the nail gun and you are left using a hammer to tap the nail in. Once this is mastered it is quick and easy. Make sure you buy the right nails 180 type as it doesn’t work with anything else! I bought the stainless steel nails. Overall a great cheap nail gun and made my job much easier!
Used this product for small diy Job and done the job with ease very good would recommend to anyone
Exactly what I expected – job completed. Really prompt service from the friendly supplier (who, admittedly, I didn’t have a great deal of contact with – but they seem a friendly bunch!).
Bought it to nail beading for flooring. Makes the job so much easier once you get the hang of it.You need to put a lot of weight behind it for the nail to fully enter the skirting.
Works as it should excellent for fitting beading after laying laminate flooring
Having read the mixed reviews on this item and looking on YouTube to see how it all works, I decided to go for it.
The gun arrived quickly and with a quick look on the instructions fitted the nails (nails do not come with the gun) and I was ready to go.
It makes a difference how you hold the gun when nailing , by using both hands if you can the nail drives straight into the wood without having to go in after to tap in.
I have only used this on soft wood, so far so good.
Like a lot of other reviews the wood protector came off occasionally which is why I have given it 4 stars.
It has saved me a lot of time for the job I am doing .
I originally purchased Tacwise nail gun to nail mouldings around laminate flooring which it did quite well but only after many attempts on some scrap material first, I found it better if I removed the plastic nail head protector and pushed quite hard on to the trim with the gun, but still be prepared to tap each nail home to get the head flush, I think my problem was due to the shape of the scotia moulding. I have used the Tacwise since on flat softwood and it worked fine with no problems nailing flush, The Tacwise corded nail gun performs well and feels robust
I would recommend using Tacwise nails and brads to prevent the gun from jamming, I tried using my old stock of 3rd party nails resulting in the gun jamming regularly, with Tacwise nails this was not a problem.
A minor issue with this Tacwise corded nail gun is the electrical cord being too short in length to use without an extension cable for most jobs. Overall the Tacwise for me was a good choice when considering both overall functionality and price.
Saved me a lot of time when placing my trims. Need to put your weight on the black of the gun for it nail in fully.
Great product – nails are large tacks. Good for first fixing on big jobs
I’ve never owned a nail gun and this is a bit lightweight for most diy jobs. Eg longest nail 35mm doesn’t go all the way through a 12mm skirting board. So have to hammer the rest of the nail.
Love this, is easy to use and fits different size nails
Bought this to make a bespoke feather edge fence. I used it yesterday for the first time to make up all the panels. I put about 400, 30mm nails through it. No jams. The gun has quite a recoil so both hands have to be used to ensure the nail are driven fully home. Overall an excellent piece of ki
excellent quality arrived when it said it would has been put to good use
Fantastic product and brilliant service. Great price to.
Thanks to all involved.
Be back soon.
Ordered wrong one but did not notice as my wife broke her hip and put away so had to order other one
Absolutely fantastic tool! Fixed several fence panels in the garden in just a few minutes – saved me a good few hours of work. Should have bought one years ago. Really well made. Buy one even if you don’t need one now as you will start looking for jobs to use it for!
Excellent product. Does exactly what it says on the tin!
