Trs bon appareil je l’emploie avec une carte SD de 128 Go, qualit professionnelle, rien redire.
J’ai hsit entre plusieurs enregistreurs TASCAM, avant l’achat j’ai tlcharg les divers modes d’emploi, pour obtenir plus d’informations et j’ai fini par acheter le DX-40X qui avait mon sens le meilleur rapport qualit prix.
The Tascam is capable of high quality recordings either via the internal condenser microphones or via the TRS line inputs connected directly from a mixing desk. It is really easy to start recording high quality audio straight out of the box and the more complex features can be learned as you go along. When connected to a mixing desk you can record multiple mixed inputs directly to the Tascam. The Tascam is capable of producing CD quality audio and is great value for money. Recommended.

I’m really happy with this recorder as it does everything I need plus lots more. I’ve been using recording equipment since the 1960s up to professional equipment level. When I think back to humping around Revox open reel tape machines and all the usual ancillary gear that went with them then using this is a breeze!
I’ve had an Edirol RO9 since 2007 which has never put a foot wrong and still delivers perfectly but the OLED display screen is quite small. I did buy a Tascam DR05 a few years ago which has also been excellent. However, I wanted a machine which had a larger screen, as one gets older it’s so much easier to see what is going on when the screen is a tad bigger. I also wanted a recorder with quarter inch jack sockets and the Tascam DR40X fulfills all those requirements. I use wav and MP3 settings on some files and find the quality is excellent for my usage which is piano, keyboards etc. Indeed musical instruments with a big dynamic range. Obviously the sound quality does begin to suffer when using low bitrates as all digital recorders do. However in wav or high bit rates it is fabulous.
All in all, I really like this unit, for what I use it for it is well designed and built. Highly recommended!
Trs satisfait de ce Tascam DR-40x. Je l’ai branch avec 2 jacks 6,3 mm provenant de la table de mixage (elle mme relie quelques synths). Ca fait trs bien le boulot d’enregistrement en live.
Pas de bruit parasite. Par contre, je n’ai pas essay encore le mode overdub ni de switcher entre les diffrents kHz possibles en sortie wav. Mais avec le paramtrage standard, le son enregistr est dj bien clean (enfin pour moi ^^).
Sensation de prise en main, un peu “plastique” et pas trs lourd.
J’avais hsit avec d’autres enregistreurs Zoom plus chers mais pour le prix, je recommande ! 5/5

Me ha encantado la calidad global por el rango de precio. Es verdad que es un poco incmodo de usar, con una usabilidad nicamente basada en botones, pero permite grabar 4 pistas a la vez, o hacer un playback de 2 de ellas y grabar otras 2 nuevas encima (overdub). Est justo en lo ms alto de las grabadoras simples, y en la ms baja de las grabadoras porttiles de alta gama.
Adems se puede usar como interface de audio en el ordenador, teniendo as un par de micros estreo de alta calidad.
Great device. I use it to record band practices and record videos. If you use it a lot, you’ll be changing the batteries regularly so calculate the price of AAs into the cost.
There is a lot that the tech can do and to be honest the instruction is not overly clear, so like me when recording a production. Practice well in advance. Basic start up was easy and instant, but any more than that you really need to play firs

Having put this DR-40X through a few tests I’m more than happy with it. The built-in mics give as clean a signal as I will ever need off them, with the safety track option a likely godsend when rushed. Recording off an SM58 straight into an XLR is good (and acceptable for most purposes) but, as others have noted, the noise floor is audible on high gain. However, use an inline booster (a Klark Teknik CT1 in my case) and it sounds as clean as anything else I’ve used (including the DR-100). My main use (or has been, with the DR-100) is either with the internal mics or line input to the XLRs, so this limitation is fine for me.
I’m using Eneloop batteries and no evidence of any problem cutting out when phantom power engaged (reported by others). If I had one wish for it, it would be able to recharge the batteries in-situ.
Comments about it having a cheap, plastic feel don’t align with my impression. Yes, it’s a plastic body and lighter than my DR-100, but it feels solid and well constructed. All hand-held recorders I’ve used suffer with handling noise – this one seems no worse. If/when I need to hold it whilst recording off the internal mics I’ll use my Rycote mount – it worked with my DR-100 and I see no reason it won’t work with the DR-40X (and the dead-cat also fits).
Overall, so far, recommended for anyone looking for an inexpensive portable recorder that is straightforward to use in its main function: recording audio.
I have been borrowing so many super swanky recorders in the past but decided to get my own now. This one matched my budget and I feel this is the best thing I have ever used. The sound quality is lovely and the device very easy to use. It took m ten minutes to test and figure it out. So pleased! Every time i mention this to my sound geek friends they all nod with approval, so i guess this a grandma’s best kept secret.

Buona qualit audio. Era quello che cercavo per aggiungere un ottimo audio ai miei video quando sono in viaggio.
Die Bedienung ist ein bichen fummelig, aber ansonsten empfinde ich alles als Spitze.

Las tomas me han sorprendido para bien por la cantidad de detalles que captan los micrfonos internos

El material de construccin es de plstico, es delicada y hay que manipular con ciudado
Hubiera estado bien un estuche de transporte
Ansonsten luft das Gert etliche Stunden mit 3 AA-Akkus, die Bedienung wirft keine greren Fragen auf, und die Aufnahmen passen fr mich auch (wobei ich nicht im schalldichten Studio aufnehme). Der Dual-Mode erlaubt auch Situationen mit unvorhersehbarer Dynamik zu beherrschen, was mir auch schon einige Aufnahmen gerettet hat.
Das Gehuse ist Hartplastik und nicht gummiert, was ich gut finde, da Gummierungen sich nach ein paar Jahren in einen klebrigen Schlatz auflsen, der das Gert unbrauchbar macht. Kehrseite der Medaille ist natrlich, dass man Bediengerusche hrt, wenn man whrend der Aufnahme am Gert herumfummelt.
Die Bedienung ist eher etwas altbacken, und etwas kleiner drfte das Teil auch sein, aber als Arbeitstier gerade richtig.
Fazit: Unkomplizierter und robuster Recoder mit schneller Bereitschaft und langer Laufzeit.
Bien entendu il faut s’habituer aux commandes et aux procdures. Mais une fois cette priode d’apprentissage passe, un appareil de qualit.
Ottima la risposta dei microfoni, la presa di registrazione molto soddisfacente, pratico ma non istantaneamente intuitivo, occorre praticarci un po’.
Migliorabile il display e la sua visibilit.
Ero indecisa tra questa versione pi “light” e il dr40 solito. Ho pensato di investire in questo, dopo aver comparato le caratteristiche, ma non nego che ho un po’ di ripensamenti. Le componenti sembrano di plastica scarsa ed estremamente fragili, usando il windscreen non posso attaccare le cuffie o registrare il panoramico, la qualit ottima (ovviamente), ma facile alle interferenze. Insomma, va bene, ma mi aspettavo di pi.
Qualit registrazione audio eccellente, fruscii e rumori di fondo praticamente nulli. Con i giusti settaggi a livello professionale.
Preis-Leistungsverhltnis ist sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist eine echte Herausforderung. Hatte das Musikhaus Korn kontaktiert. Der Service ist berragend!
Using it for Sound Design purposes only. Unfortunately it hasn’t got a metal case. In a few weeks, the plastic case will probably look more ass than Kim Kardashian in a hall of mirrors.
Ich habe mit dem Gert bereits mehrere Musikstcke in Live-Ausfhrung aufgenommen und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Die gerteeigenen Mikrofone sind hervorragend und sehr rauscharm, praktisch rauschlos. Das Gert hat viele Einstellungen und Aufnahmemodi. Rundum: sehr empfehlenswert!
It’s got a lot of features, more than what I know what to do with. I think if you spend some time getting to know it, it can be worthwhile.

Menu interface initially looks scary but if you’re even remotely used to audio kit it is very intuitive. Easy to use, audio files on system mics is very good.
My first use was on a punishing industrial project with very high volume engineering audio (effectively jet engine levels). Perfect results; so impressed.

Le tascam dr-40x est un super produit, a un prix plutt correct.
Nanmoins, la bote tait dj ouverte, il faut donc s’attendre a un objet issus de retour et cela aurait d tre indiqu sur la page du produit.
Je ne regrette absolument pas cet achat, il est plus intressant que le dr-40, car il permet de le brancher a un ordinateur pour s’en servir de carte son (pour acquisition ou interview, podcast…), et fonctionne trs bien avec ardour.
Il Tascam e’ il Tascam nulla da dire!
Purtroppo il mio e’ arrivato difettoso perche’ l’ingresso USB e’ guasto e non si connette al PC.
Sicuramente acquistero’ un altro Tascam ma questo lo rendo.
Brilliant simple recording solution to broadcast quality home recording. Great for bloggers and vloggers alike attached to my mixing desk, so easy.
One of the best features I’ve found is the safety track with the dual recording. There is nothing worse than finding that the audio you recorded has peaked and isn’t useable. This way it records a second track at a lower volume and can save you.
Another great feature is the fact you can record up to four tracks. This device allows you to record using XLR and Line inputs. This is really useful at weddings when you don’t know what output the DJ is going to have for you.
Something that is reassuring but not something I’ll need is the fact you can use up to a 128GB SD card. This allows you to record so much audio without the need of deleting it from the card.
Overall, this is a device which has been very useful and works great. The fact that all of this is available for a good price is great. There are a couple of things that could be improved including the build quality and there can be a little noise heard. Yet, all in all, I’ve been really happy with this and would recommend it to others.

Have found this a great recording device to create .wav or .mp3 files. As well as the stereo internal mics, the two XLR/jack sockets make it ideal for recording from an external mic or amplified instruments. Have used it to record parts to be mixed with other ‘part’ recordings to create “socially distant” tracks! Thoroughly recommend

Ottimo prodotto per chi desidera un Tascam professionale a 4 canali,..lo consiglio vivamente, solo un p delusa per via della pubblicit su altri link dove all’interno della confezione originale si evidenziavano una scheda da 2 gb un paravento e un cavetto. In questa confezione troverete solo il Tascam.
Fantastic quality recorder. I haven’t even scratched the surface of all the features, but it seems to be a superb piece of kit.
Good recording. Does what its supposed to. Far from intuitive.
A decent video tutorial would allow you to get the best out of it.
Good value with nice features including tripod mount and choice of integrated mic positions. Takes both jack and XLR input. Easy to transfer files via USB to laptop.
I am not tech savvy and managed to figure it out. Not much to it really. I’m happy with it.
I use this for electric guitar practice, the sound quality is great, I like the tripod mount making it easy to position near my amp.
The tuner is a major plus.
However the UI takes some getting used to.
Battery life is good too.

It performs its job very successfully and the keys are very easy to use, only the subject that needs attention should be moved precisely.

Lo peor: carcasa de plstico y no llevar batera recargable como los mviles.
Pero contento con la compra.
Excellent little device. Super easy to set up and use, sound quality is great and audio quality can be easily changed according to the situation, eh, high for voiceovers etc, or lower if you were just recording some lecture notes or something. I’ve not tried it for music recording, but have no reason to think it wouldn’t perform well in that situation too. Only criticism is that I think it should come with a wind muff which you have to buy separately.
Wie erwartet funktioniert alles richtig gut. Ich nutze es auch als externes Mikrofon. Die Phantom Funktion fr mich sehr wichtig.
Nachtrag: 07.01.2020
Nach einigen Wochen verwendung ein paar kleinigkeiten die mir aufgefallen sind.
– Im Freien ollte man Mikrofon Windschutz verwenden.
– bei den Aufnahmen aus der Hand ist bei leisen aufnahmen daruf zu achten nicht am Gehse zu “reiben” oder hand zu bewegen, Ich hatte Handschuh an, und man hrt jede bewegung.
– Sehr positiv bin ich vom Stereo-Klang berascht. Testweise vorbeifahrene S-Bahn aufgenommen.
– mit e AAA Batterien komm ich gut 20 Stunden ohne probleme durch.
Fazit: Wer berwiegend mit externen Mikrofonen arbeitet fr den ist der DR-40X ein muss in dieser Preisklasse. Die Mikrofon-Vorverstrker lassen den Preis kaum erahnen und sind qualitativ ziemlich gut. Die internen Mikros sind gut, viel Bass, viel hhen, wenig Mitten. Fr Musik OK, fr Atmo und Stimmen braucht man eventuell nachtrglich einen EQ. Ein geiles Teil zum Kampfpreis, volle Kaufempfehlung!

Wer etwas mehr Geld ausgeben kann sollte sich den DR-44WL kaufen. Die XLR-Vorverstrker sind zwar nicht besser, eigentlich sind sie klanglich identisch, aber die internen Mikros sind um Welten besser! Sie klingen deutlich knuspriger, klarer, neutraler, bessere Mitten, bessere Hhen und Bsse. Sie klingen einfach natrlicher. Aus meiner Sicht ist der DR-44WL absolut der Hammer, auch im Vergleich zum Zoom H4n Pro, oder H5… Deshalb ziehe ich einen Stern ab, aber nur in Relation.

Usato per registrazione in un teatro, risultato fantastico. Registrazione stereo con voci chiare e ben distinguibili. Nessun rumore di sottofondo registrato dalla platea.
Zum Gert an sich: Sehr gut zu handhaben. Die Anleitung ist nicht immer sofort verstndlich abgefasst. Die Batterielebensdauer ist wahrscheinlich sehr gut. Die technischen Mglichkeiten sind weitreichend und von mir wohl nicht ausreizbar.
Meine Empfehlungen: Ein kleines Dreibeinstativ ist oft sehr hilfreich und so ein Windschutzdings ist definitiv ntig!
