An absolute wonderful product made by Tc electronics, I cant be enough enjoying it. And thanx to Amazon for monthly payments option. Without this i couldn’t ever afford it. Overall absolutely Magnificent.
Preso quando era a 350, uno degli acquisti migliori mai fatti. Per esigenze di live, ho diversi preset salvati e 5 effetti richiamabili fanno parecchio comodo. Ho venduto l’accordatore perch qui presente al quinto switch (triplo tap). Semplice da usare, non troppo ingombrante. Occhio, non si possono mettere 5 riverberi per farvi un esempio, io ho vibe, delay, 2 riverberi, e non posso aggiungere un altro delay o riverbero. Scelte della casa, non so. Tutti gli effetti sono soddisfacenti, i toneprint estendono parecchio la qualit. I cab sim sono un po’ scarsetti, ma onestamente se siete con scheda audio e pc, non farete fatica a usare altre simulazioni. Super consigliato a questo prezzo!
I really do love my plethora. Saves a lot of room on my pedalboard and adds some great functionality with it’s built in effects loop and stereo in/out. The latest firmware update addressed most of my complaints. The only major complaint I have now is with the Android app. It literally just doesn’t work on my OnePlus 8 or my Samsung tablet. I can get the Bluetooth to connect, but as soon as you click the boards tab it crashes. They did release an app update that supposedly addressed this issue, but I haven’t been able to try it out yet. Once I confirm it’s fixed I’ll edit my review accordingly.
I know TC blamed a lot of their software development issues on Covid, but in my opinion they should have waited to release the plethora until it was a little more polished. That being said, it truly is a fantastic unit and it has basically replaced all my digital pedals on my pedalboard. Construction seems pretty robust so we’ll see how long it holds up or of it will be repairable if it does break. I know TC doesn’t exactly have the best track record in this area, but I was impressed enough with the unit that I went ahead and pulled the trigger. So far I’m not regretting that decision and it seems well worth the money now that the software issues are a little more polished.
This was bought as a gift. The recipient is very happy with it and uses it regularly.
Fr meinen Bass die optimale Ergnzung.
Einfach wie ein pedalboard die einzelnen Effekte hintereinanderschalten.
Es befinden sich keine overdrive und equalizing effekte onboard.
ABER es gibt einen frei platzierbaren analog insert.
Somit bei mir das setup:

Equalizer-Booster (preamp)
Plethorea
Overdrive/Scrambler ist im Insert.
Great piece of kit works well and has a lot onboard for the price – I use amp’s valves for overdriven sound so lack of distortion is a non issue. Loop works great with the Various distortion pedals I have if required too
Ho acquistato questa Pedaliera in quanto mi sembrava una pensata geniale accorpare in un unico chassis compatto 5 pedali liberamente configurabili e via software, fidandomi della qualit che ho sempre riscontrato nei prodotti TC Electronic e della semplicit di manovra che avevo potuto vedere all’opera in alcuni video. Alla prova pratica sono rimasto molto contento sia del suono che della configurabilit, anche se non ho ancora utilizzato il software TonePrint. Hi aggiornato il firmware con grande semplicit e ora ho alcuni effetti in pi e un semplice looper. Utile anche il send/return per effetti esterni, anch’esso inseribile in qualsiasi punto della catena effetti attraverso il loop forward. In fondo manca solo la sezione overdrive/distortion ma basta inserire un pedale in ingresso o nel loop effetti e il gioco fatto. anche possibile un program change via midi. Alcune mancanze mi sono sembrate l’assenza di un’uscita cuffie, la latenza nei cambi fra le configurazioni di Pedaliera (se ne possono memorizzare fino a 127!) r magari un’uscita xlr, che sarebbe stata a me utile. Per il resto un ottimo prodotto, adatto sia a chitarre elettriche che acustiche “preamplificate”. Last but not least: il prezzo su Amazon era imbattibile!

Excellent tones and simple to use. The toneprints for Plethora are not as extensive as the actual stand alone pedals. But it’s excellent considering the number of boards you can set up.
Dedalera recin adquirida, ya la verdad que de momento muy contento.

It’s a digital device and almost all the TC electronic modulation device Toneprints can be downloaded to it. Exceptions are the Dreamscape and the SpectraComp bass compressor. What’s on the Dreamscape is here already in other guises and there is the Hyper Gravity compressor. I’m not sure how different the Bass compressor is?
A criticism I’ve read, “There’s no distortion”, TC electronic distortion pedals are analogue and to include one of these would require circuitry rather that software so that ain’t gonna happen any time soon! However, there is an FX insert capability where ANY pedal can be included in the chain.
A new 5 pedal board can be constructed electronically in minutes rather than physically in hours and you can try things out without wasting too much time. You can tinker with stuff you wouldn’t consider buying as a standalone pedal. Already I’ve found vibrato chained with phaser sounds quite good, two pedals I didn’t like too much and sent back. I also like the Brainwaves effects, although I’m not sure of what, or how, it’s doing it.
In Edit mode the three knobs across the top of the Plethora allow adjustment of individual effect parameters. Very familiar if you have any of the TC Mini range pedals. Once they are set turn to Play mode and the knobs do nothing, so there’s no accidental knob knocking problems.
Most Toneprints, are easily set up, a few are not! I bought a Quintessence to try and get to grips with Modes, it’s a complicated pedal and you need all 4 knobs and two toggles switches. The presentation of this on the Plethora would have been incomprehensible without the original. So the Quintessence pedal is staying.
At the moment I have the Plethora on a small board with a Spark pedal in series. I don’t use the Spark as a booster, but as an overdrive and EQ, it has active tone controls! This allows me to use all 5 slots on the Plethora as modulation effects. Another “taking up space effect” is the Sentry Noise gate. I’ve already got an Iron Curtain that sits with my amp, so the Sentry is, well, pointless.
The way I’m using the plethora is as a table top tinkering device, I had thought It would enable me sell on some of my pedals, some will go, but some will stay, the Plethora is NOT going on the floor.

This is a brilliant, well-designed pedalboard I bought to replace the four individual TC Electronic pedals I bought prior to discovering this product. It is so easy and intuitive to navigate and use, the build quality is solid, and it looks great. With so many different effects available, it is a bargain compared to buying multiple individual pedals and so much neater. I could not be happier!
Das Gehuse ist sehr robust. Die Drehregler und Schalter wirken stabil.
Die Effekte selber sind klanglich mittelfeld bis gut. Bei der Effektstrke heit es meist, weniger ist mehr.
Meine lieblinge sind Hall of Fame, Compressor und Octaver.
In die Bedienung und die Mglichkeiten mu man sich leider mhevoll einarbeiten. Da mu man sich leider aus diversen Youtube-Videos wichtige Infos zur Benienung raus ziehn. Meist sind diese in englischer Sprache.
Eine Vernnftige Anleitung fehlt leider. Die ersten Schritte sind jedoch recht einfach zu verstehen.
It is an amazing bit of kit for sure… well built and for someone who prefers switches to menus I managed to sort things out fairly quickly with little frustration… I gave it four stars because I thought for the price there was something lacking…it needed a little more… though I am appreciating it more each day. Would I have purchased it knowing what I now know. Yes.
Je suis un guitariste country et les multieffets c’est trs peu pour moi. Celui-ci est simple manipuler et me permet d’apporter des modifications sur diffrents pedalboards. C’est utile et cela me sauve beaucoup d’argent. Les TonePrint sont gniaux.
Once again, TC Electronics knocked it out of the park! Worth every penny.

Qualit del suono alta, oltre ogni pi rosea aspettativa.
Utilizzo Plethora con il basso elettrico 6 corde e anche alle frequenze pi basse il suono non risulta artefatto.
La qualit degli effetti TC Electronic resa ancora pi fruibile da un sistema semplicissimo da programmare e senza la necessit di utilizzare alimentatori e cavi. Super consigliato!
il software presente su questa macchina ancora in evoluzione, alcuni suoni mancano (ad es. auto-swell) ma alla tc electronic sono molto attenti alle richieste dei clienti. i suoni presenti sono di alto livello: riverberi, delay, chorus sono eccellenti.
Premetto che uso effetti TC Electronic da anni e non mi hanno mai deluso, questa nuova pedalboard per me fantastica. Innanzitutto uno dei pochi multieffetto che mi permette di avere il kill-dry, poi col software posso creare tutti i TonePrint che voglio e contiene un gran numero di effetti.
Il fatto che non abbia effetti drive per me non un problema in quanto uso un Treble Booster, ma comunque una cosa che uno sa in anticipo
Mi piaciuto il suono e la comodit che tutti gli effetti stiano dentro un’unica pedaliera. Quello che proprio non mi piace la totale assenza di un manuale inglese/italiano che mostri tutte le funzioni della pedaliera. TC Electronic non fa manuale guida, Solo una Quick Guide in inglese.
Migliore pedaliera sul mercato per l'”effettistica” (delay, chorus, reverb…) da abbinare alla testata valvolare e non ha bisogno di pedali overdrive/distorsori.
Pedale eccezionale! La qualit del suono che esce top level. Facile da usare e dimensioni contenute. Se si aggiunge un pedale overdrive hai tutto quello che serve per suonare.
Non c’ di meglio sul mercato a mio avviso tra i multieffetti. Punto. Qualit eccezionale.
La verdad es que en cuanto vi este producto, no dud en que tena que hacerme con l. Llevaba tiempo usando la puerta de ruido Sentry, la reverb Hall of Fame 2 y el delay Fashback 2 de TC electronics. Adems, le met un tap tempo mxr y un multiefectos de mooer,… He conseguido mantener todos los efectos de TC que tena y aadirle muchos ms, ganando en calidad y espacio. Lleno de opciones y de fcil uso.
Muy recomendable, es justo lo que necesitaba.
Furthermore there is the possibility of further capabilities, as this is a software driven box and updates are on the pipeline. It’s a tinkerers delight, but if you don’t like menu diving then maybe five individual pedals would be better. But you would be missing out
If you buy one of these, buy an expression pedal as well…
I am a fan of TC Electronics to begin with & believe that they’ve created the perfect pedal. The X5 has allowed me to downsize my pedalboard, eliminating several pedals & I’ve actually moved back to an old, smaller board because I don’t use as many pedals as I used to.
