I like the set, however 24cm pan is small. It is top size is 23.5, and the hight is lower than my previous 24cm pan. My standard lid for 24cm does not fit. I usually cook for 2 person, however this pan is smaller.

My main goal was to replace my old pan, but I will have to order one more pan separately. A bit disappointed with the size, quality seems good though.

They are cheap but not nasty. Really lightweight and easy to clean. So far we didn’t have any problems with them. Good value for money.

I have to admit, was a little worried at first when I saw on box Made in China. Preferred option would be made in France because many reviews seem to have a problem with Tefal pans made in China. However, I have been using mine for a few weeks now and they do the job beautifully and wash really well. Always used Tefal, only the second set of pans I have bought in last 20 yrs. Hope these will last me another 20 yrs!

The 5 piece Pan Collection from Tefal is seriously good. The weight, design and functionality makes cooking a joy. In particular the heat distribution is very even and the conduction of heat very fast, which assists in saving energy which means meals cost less to make. The surfaces of the pans are very good quality. No sticking, even without oil. They are elegant despite being part of the ‘essentials’ range. This product is excellent value for money. The five pieces are all you need for every day cooking. One negative to do with my gas job: I have raised metal grids (pan holders) over the gas rings. The lightweight cooking pans slide off sometimes when they have no ingredients in. It means I have to be very careful with the frying pans on my hob whilst, for example, I am heating up oil. This could be quite hazardous if I had toddlers or small children around me. Apart from that, overall the product is excellent.

Handle a little heavy for pan so can tip when empty/nearly empty.
    Smaller than expect
Easy to clean and do the job though

Great value for money, I replaced my old set with another Tefal set as I had my old set for over 10years and knew I could rely on them.

Hands down for the money the best starter set I have ever bought.

You get everything you need for even a small family. They are the easiest set to clean and maintain. Food is cooked really well and they absorb heat really well.

Classic Tefal at an amazingly low price. We bought these as a new married couple with not alot of cash starting out.

A decent starter pack of pans.

I’ve used them daily over the past few weeks and they are still going strong.

Obviously, if you use metal utensils you run the risk of damaging the coating but so far so good for me.

Non-stick works well and they are all easy to clean.

These pans are brilliant. They are sturdy and really quite light. they have well-fitting lids and are very easy to keep clean.
They are great to cook with. The red target inside the pan changes when they are heated which is a great indicator of when to add your food. They really are excellent value for money.

Love this light weight set of Tefal pans. Bought my 1st set over 10 years ago so definitely value for money. Couldn’t find anything else light weight that looked as good as my old set so decided to buy them again and I’m not disappointed.

I love t-fal products. The pans are a bit small. My partner said he can use them for making one scrambled egg. But I think they’re nice for making smaller amounts of sauces.

Good solid quality set of pans. Have a very good feel to them, having arthritis, having good solid feeeling handles is a must. Very easy to clean. Cooking is very good, heat is dispersed evenly and having the lids also helps keep the fuel costs down, as not as much heat from the hob is needed. So in time they could technicly pay for themselves.

Used these frequently for months now and they’re in great condition. I did read the users manual (for first time in my 39 years) and have been ensuring I follow the advice given to ensure I take care of the non-stick coating which I’ve found makes a huge difference surprisingly enough haha.

My only criticism is I’d like a lid for the larger frying pan that’s it. I had bought these to replace my previous set of tefal pans that I had in excess of 7 years so if these ones last the same amount of time I will be very happy. I just unboxed them washed them coated them in oil to help with the non stick coating and ready to go. Easy to clean. This set I’d say pan size wise is better than previous set so value for money is also better as u have 2 fry pans. But yeah a lid for the larger fry pan would be awesome other than that no issues. Pans aren’t very heavy when draining easy to keep in cupboard I use on induction/ ceramic hob.

Bought this for a first home. We haven’t needed anything else! (except a larger frying pan) Non stick is true to its word. Good quality pans that last. Just make sure not to use any metal on the pans or you will damage them. Would recommend this pack to anyone and everyone.

It services well for daily use. But I guess I won’t ask for more. It is a relatively cheap price for Tefal cooking pan, so I guess it won’t so extremely tough. But it is good for working as a sauce pan and for fried eggs etc. If it could come with lids with the pan as well, then I would say it is really worth the price.

As a young couple in our first rented property, we opted for a cheap set of pans when we first moved in, 12 in Wilkos, and within a few months they rusted, and the handles were falling off…so this time we stretched a little further with out budget, and I had my heart set on Tefal. They have not disappointed. They are amazing, they heat my food up more evenly than previous pans, they are so easy to clean, and nothing sticks to them! Definitely worth the money! 🙂

I don’t move my pans around like crazy so the peeling can be avoided but they do have stains on the base already. The heat distribution isn’t great when deep frying.

I am not a master chef and currently reside alone. After reviewing the other comments I elected to purchase the set and am thrilled to now have this product. The Tefal 5 arrived quickly and was carefully packed ensuring no damage. The pans aren’t large but so far have served their purpose. The distribution of heat is perfect and they are easy to clean with the benefit of the Tefal bob-stick coating. I would highly recommend these products for a home not requiring an extensive set of pots and pans, and they are very well priced for a great quality product!

A really great set – very good value for money. Have tried all pans and very happy with them all – as stated in other reviews the smaller frying pan is quite small (ok for a couple of fried eggs) but check the sizes on the listing if concerned. The larger frying pan is ideal for one person omelettes or indeed pancakes! Very easy to clean and would certainly recommend this Tefal set.

A brilliant set of starter pots and pans for any new household, this definitely isn’t a set for an already established household as they lack the extra quality seen in the more expensive models but has all the features required to make cooking easy and fun when you’re getting started without any compromise.

These are never going to win a prize for the best pans, but they are definitely worth their money. We have used these daily for 18 months and they all still work. There are slight scratches due to wear but other than that I could see these being used for another couple of years before we eventually upgrade. But was perfect for buying when you are setting up a kitchen for the first time. The “big” pan could have been a little bigger, It really struggles to fit mince or chicken for two people, but we have made it work as the set was such good value.

Absolutely lovely set. Very easy to clean, non stick does not flake off like with other brands. Amazing value for the money. Only slight pointer, the two frying pans are a bit small, it would be so much better to substitute the two smaller ones for a large frying pan.
I will never buy another brand, something’s in life just need to be a brand name, tomato ketchup & Tefal are two of those very things.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat pots and pans set, brilliant value for money. The stone effect finish is really sleek and modern looking. The handles feel really good quality and don’t heat up when used on hob so safe to use. I haven’t used them in the oven yet but excited to try this functionality. Wash really well in the sink. Have popped them in the dishwasher once and they came up really well. The large frying pan is a bit on the small size but it is ok for the 2 of us. I will need to supplement the set with a larger frying pan in the future. Overall great set.

Good basic pan set. Easy to clean. Frying pans are good sizes, one is great for omelettes or a fried egg, whereas larger one is more suited to a cooked breakfast.

I use these every day. For the price, they’re fantastic and the non stick works so well. Make sure to use wooden utensils to avoid scratching. I use wooden utensils and the pans look new with no scratches. I’d definitely buy Tefal pans again, they are a little more pricey than other brands but so worth it!

Bought the products as we were moving house. I should have gotten out a measuring tape to get an idea of the size of the saucepans but that was my own fault. These are perfect basics- we ended up buying one bigger fry pan but are great to cook anything else. I was worried as I have had other pans tip when they aren’t full, these did not. They are very easy to clean and manage heat well. Definitely recommend

Once again, excellent price and quality from Tefal. Not only its easy to clean even with the most stubborn food like rice and curry sauce. The rice just glided off of pan. Excellent packaged to ensure all the pans are in good condition during transiting. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

    Excellent quality with excellent price.

These will make an amazing starter set for a student or person moving into a new place. The non stick is amazing and it makes cleaning after so much easier. These are easy to hold and a reliable brand.
    Negatives:
This may be a personal problem but I find the saucepans can be Heavy and I genuinely struggle when trying to drain food or pour food out of them. Another is that one of the saucepans was dropped on the floor and immediately bent out of shape and won’t return to its original shape (but this has not effected the use of the pan atall I’m just being picky). Lastly, I was impressed by the size selection of the saucepans but I think the frying pans need a larger variation. This is just out of preference because I like to cook my whole meals in one pan (cooking for two people) and I cannot do this in the size there is. But for a single person this shouldn’t be an issue.

Overall, I really really recommend as a starter set. Good for the price and can’t really go wrong with tefal.

I was a bit reluctant buying these looking on some of the reviews of the Teflon coming off. But I have to be honest they must be getting an egg out of the pan with a Makita 240v grinder to make some of the scratched that they have from “light use”! Stick to your wooden spoons and spatulas and you will be fine!

I’ve been happy with these pans, only used one of them so far. They do look good and unlike a few other brands I tried before, the coating does not keel off and give up. Cooking has been great with the pan and cleaning is easy too.

Only thing is, the rims are a bit sharp, so just go easy when wiping around the rim when power washing your way through the dishes.

I bought these for my Mom. She says they wash great (hand wash), feel good to use, and are very durable. To be honest, if you’re knocking these all about the hob and destroying them in a week – that’s on you. Some of the reviews haven’t got a clue. I mean, please… Look after your stuff! Really great gold-standard, Tefal pans. Amazing!

I have had this set for 3 months now
It is non-sticking and good if you don’t need to cook to lots of people as the pans are not very big.
What I don’t like so much is that usually after washing a kind of white layer always stays at the bottom and this dosn’t happen with other pans I have.
Also, some of the paint outside in a few places is starting to peel off.
It is a very good value anyway for this set, good material quality for the price and non-sticking as this is very important for me.

Issue is I have with the set is the smallest pan is pointless, isn’t worth having. The rest are great. Easy to clean, heat quick and are durable. First lot easily lastest 6 years. I did find though the handles on the pans need tightening after a will (simple screwdriver job) but it gets annoying. Fine for first year but then you start tightening every day 10 washes and that increases with time.

Bought in the sale to replace my ageing Tefal saucepan set. So pleased I did. This latest incarnation is so much lighter in weight and sits more securely on my gas hob when cooking.

This is proving to be a very good buy. The coatings are holding up (bare in mind the price) and they look good. Have seen similar Tefal products in supermarkets at much higher prices, though not identical – maybe Tefal make for Amazon to maintain their high street prices. Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFantastic set for the price. I will say be aware that the frying pans are quite small, probably better for bacon and eggs, so if you cook larger portions of food, for example, a curry etc, I’d definitely purchase a larger one separately (I’ve also done this). It’s a really good set of pans. However, the frying pan could be bigger. It’s not easy to see that this set is more for 2/3 person family from the pictures.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersTefal – only the best. Well it was good timing that our old saucepans were dying on the feet – and someone give us an Amazon gift card – so off we went hunting for a new set of pans. Tefal is brand I’ve known for years and I’ve usually associated them with great cookware. And I wasn’t let down with my choice this time. They are sturdy, stylish & easy to clean. And the range of pan sizes covers most of your average cooking activities in the kitchen. As we’ve had them for a couple of months now I can safely say that if you’re looking for a new set of pans – buy this Tefal set.

My wife requested to buy these as the pots are the same ones that was in our holiday home this summer and she thought they were excellent. We already have 2 of the frying pans but they are they next sizes up from these so we have 4 rangers of sizes to pick from. The non stick claim is true to its word. The frying pans and quite small but as I said that suits us, the smallest being a good size to cook 1 or 2 eggs in at a time. All in all my wife is happy and that is the reason i bought them.

Fab set of pans at a great price. Bought because our old pans were starting to look decidedly sorry for themselves. We like other Tefal products and thought we’d give these a try. The 3 pans are good sizes, and all 5 pans are non stick (as you would expect from Tefal). My only criticisms would be that the frying pans are slightly too small, and it would be great if the pans could have a lip on for pouring liquids. However, these are minor points that we knew before purchase, and hence the 5 stars.

Bought at 35quid. Loses a star for the saucepans as they could be a bit weightier however for the price they are still a bargain. The frying pans non stick has stood up to a month of use with no issues and no loss in coating. The bases of the pans are thick enough to hold sufficient heat to brown off a decent steak. The red dot system actually works well also.

Really good set to start with. I purchased this for my first home and this is all that is really needed for practically any meal. The non stick is very good and the price of these were great, considering these are individually priced in supermarkets at between 15 – 30 each! Ideal starter se

hese sauce pans are very light but are good, they are non stick so are good for cooking quinoa, the pans are good, they dont need much oil when cooking omelettes and they just slide off the pan. the pans are smaller than i thought, the bigger pan is the one i use for omelettes as the small one would only fit on fried egg

A great set of pans for the money but after a few months the handles come unscrewed and you have to keep tightening them up, which is not easy as they used a screw with a very unusual head. (Its a kind of star shape, not a regular cross-head). No complaint other than that. Good value.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery good quality for the price! I bought this about 2 years ago and apart from having to tighten the screws every now and then they are all still in a good condition. Obviously a bit scratched in the bottom but that’s my own fault for using metal spoons etc.

Would highly recommend for students and others starting a household!

Just wow, After using pots and pans that now look like they’ve been through 2 world wars, this set is an absolute dream, things cook so evenly and they just dont stick to the pan no matter what. Cleaning is easy although you have to do it by hand as they say they aren’t for dishwashers which is annoying as I’m the modern man and sometimes my wife just isn’t around to do it! Just kidding 😛

I bought this for use at my student accomodation its a beautiful perfectly easy to use and complete set. However I must say if you’re looking for a set specifically for student accommodation it is best to buy the induction compatible set as the bottom of my set (mostly the frying pans) have been blackened due to the direct heat straight onto the set. As most student accomodation doesn’t allow for gas stoves or stove tops that don’t have heat directly onto the metal base of your set. Otherwise I cannot fault this set at all, it’s main issues were my onnawareness of the compatibiolity of certain stove tops

This set of pans is really good value. They are light to use but appear to be well made – time will tell with use. I’m happy with the purchase for the money you can’t go wrong. Based on this purchase, I would buy other Tefal pans and products. Delivery was swift. They arrived within a day of placing the order. Would recommend if you are looking for functional pans, (the non stick is good), without spending a fortune.

Me and my housemates have been using these daily for about 18months now and apart from a few scratches to the coating (which have not got any worse since I banned the use of metal pan scourers on them) and the handle becoming a little loose on one or two (which we used a table knife to tighten back again) these are still going strong and can imagine many more years use out of them. As long as you don’t use metal scourers on them then the coating stays on. Definitely recommend as they are also very reasonably priced too!

Not had these very long but I think in time they would receive a 5, so much better than the Green Pan ones I had. the clear lid is great and the steam hole means no more balancing a lid on a wooden spoon to reduce the heat/steam build up. Also no more burnt fingers from the metal handle on the lid… They heat up fast and are so easy to wash up.

I have been a fan of Tefal cookware for a long time. Their pots and pans were of the highest quality, second to none! But now I have noticed they are what appears to be using 2 bolts through the pan to anchor the handles. Now the inner pan is no longer clean and smooth but now has 2 bumps on it. Food can get caught around them, no longer can you use a utinsal to clear the pan. You have to wash to clean. This is the only negative I can see. The pans are solid, handles are firm and very easy to hold and control.

All the pieces feel fantastic to use. The products feel solid, though perhaps not of “premium” weight but that’s not what I paid for. Highly recommend looking into some non-metal utensils for use with these to protect the non-stick.

I was a little worried the largest pot would not quite be large enough but, though it is a little shallower than our old pot, it was easily able to hold two peoples full dinner (rice and curry with chicken and veg all in the one pot) with some room to spare. If you are however cooking for more people perhaps consider a set with a larger pot.

Wow. Why didn’t I get these sooner?! Great price great quality set. Mh first ‘proper’ pan set. No more catching risotto, messy grease clean-ups or sticking omelettes. An absoloute breeze to.cook with and clean. They need conditioning with a bit of oil ever week and I’m ever so careful not to scuff them with metal spatulas ect but they are brill. Used them for a month and id highly recommend. The pans are a good size but frying pans are a little small, fine for me and my partner but not necessarily families

Had these pans a couple of months now. They are well made, sturdy and are definitely non stick. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I have been looking for pans with lockable lids with holes in so you can pour out water etc with the lid locked. The only ones I have found in the uk are very cheap and nasty, and to order from USA where you can get them, is just too expensive.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a great set of saucepans at a very good price. I wasn’t sure if for the price the metal might be a bit thin, but the pots are very solid. The glass tops make it easy to keep an eye on what’s cooking and the two frying pans have the red dot in the middle that changes when the pan is hot enough. The smaller one of these is really an omelette pan and the larger one maybe not big enough for a full fry up. You’d need a slightly larger one. Other than that the sizes are fine and the lack of a lip around the edge makes draining easier. They look smart too. I would recommend them very highly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA little story to demonstrate the efficiency of these pans.
I put a few fish fillets on the hob to poach, in a little butter
and milk wth a little added water. Waited until it started
to simmer, covered the pn and went into the lounge to
catch the ‘game’ (football) makin a mntal notet take it off
    the cooker in 15 min.
Half time came around and I realised I had left it on with just a
little liquid. Rushed in to check damage to pan…..the content
was cooked to perfection and the pan not the slightest bit burnt.
They wash easily, and are about the best pans I have had.

This is a great product, it arrived on time, SUPER easy to wash and food never sticks to the pans! the only thing I would say, is how small the pieces are. Online you can’t really see their true size, but the smallest of the frying pans is only big enough to fry one egg and the largest one is not much bigger than that. I still need to buy a couple more products to have big enough pieces to cook a bigger meal. But the actual product is really good!

These are a nice set, I’d prefer these than buying a cheap set which would probably end up breaking. They’re quite stylish not that it matters, I also like how the food won’t stick to the metal, when I am cooking eggs they easily slide off the pan just like they do on the advert, makes cooking so much easier. If you burn food onto the metal it comes off easily. Never really paid any attention the red spot in the middle, apparently it changes colour slightly when it is at the right temperature. Plus the handles are comfortable. Buy right, not twice.
