This is a great telescope for beginners, it is highly portable and sturdy, it comes with a light and heavy duty tripod that can be easily adjusted to height, it’s is possible to see Saturn with a 3x Barlow and 6mm eyepiece, overall great purchase
The box was slightly damaged, alarm bells rang in my head but thankfully the telescope was fine (as far as I can see) pun intended.
Now all I need is a clear dark sky.
Just what I wanted. i have a 5 inch aperture 650mm focal length equatorial mount reflector telescope but wanted something less bulky for travelling. This was just the ticket with good clear magnification, a variety of eyepieces, mobile camera mount and good carrying case for everything including the tripod.
Absolutely brilliant Barlow lens! Great clarity at x3 magnification, can see the bands on Jupiterand the rings of Saturn – can’t wait for the next clear night tomorrow at more!
The telescope was delivered within 36 hours of ordering at peak Christmas time. All intact and nicely packaged in carrying case. I have yet to calibrate and align but assembly was not difficult. Less than 30 minutes. Overall appearance very impressive.

Very good 3X Barlow , the clarity and cleanliness of the moon is fantastic, It’s got a bit of weight to it, feels much better quality that the one that was supplied with my telescope, I’ve no complaints at all.
Arrived very quickly and telescope in excellent packaging. Very easy to put together and get working in under 30 minutes. Very helpful follow up email from Slokey with tips on operation after you get started. I like the fact its lightweight and easily transportable, can’t wait to use it outside for taking photos of the moon.

Very nice telescope and very good style and easy to use. Only issue is we have poor weather conditions at the moment so not much time to use it only quick look when setting up.
This 5x Barlow is fantastic for lenses like 40mm, 25mm and 13mm, not so great for a 6mm lens as the image becomes to hard too focus through the Telescope (used on a Celestron NexStar SE 6inch) . It increases the magnification greatly for viewing and helps with astrophotography as well.
Overall very satisfied with this Barlow.
My husband has mentioned for a while his desire to have a telescope to view the stars. So this year I brought one, I was a bit nervous, as I knew nothing about telescopes. So with a bit of research I decided on this model.
My husband loves it, spent an hour setting it up and the last two evenings looking at the stars and attaching his phone. The product is well made with a handy travel case. It arrived on time and was a reasonable price. I’d recommend for anyone who wants to give astronomy a go.
I’m so pleased with this telescope. I hadn’t used a telescope since a child and straight away was able to see Jupiter and its moons and Saturn and it’s rings. It is easy to set up and the spotting scope makes it really easy find what you’re looking for. There are a few optional extras that would be really useful but there is enough included to set yourself up for observing the basics.
I Bought it because I’ve always been interested to find out what’s going on in our solar system. It my first time using a telescope. It was easy to assemble But I’m still practicing using it. But I viewed the moon for the first time through my telescope & got an awesome view. I look forward to viewing more of the night sky weather permitting

Fantastic value lens does what I wanted and such more , highly recommend this for the beginner like myself to look at the planets, was blown away to actually see Saturn’s rings last nigh
The Telescope arrived and everything seems ok. Very easy to assemble, although the red dot finder was a little confusing at first.
Really looking forward to using it but so far the skies have been overcast and we were just on a full moon.
I did get an opportunity to play with it and tried to look at Jupiter, obviously it’s not that big and I need practice but I could see a bright planet and three moons amazing.
Bought it to stargaze and it worked. Great product overall.
The tripod is sturdy, adjustable and lightweight. After experimenting with the various lenses that came with the telescope, I managed to see a decent image of Jupiter.
East to assemble and to use, wish the clouds were gone so I can start stargazing. Good built quality and the phone holder makes it easy to take photos.

The instructions are great! I’ve never had a telescope before but with the manual and YouTube guides, I’ve had a great time with it. I’m still learning but really looking forward to getting better.

The best part is…that you can dismantle the lens itself. Why? Astrocameras often cannot achieve focus on newtonians. This lens gives you the freedom to push back the focal plane immensely. As a consequence you can achieve focus without having to shorten your focuse

Bought this as a gift for our son’s 50th B/D. He was very pleased with it and has already put it to use, getting a great photo of the moon. One problem to overcome is that the angular adjustment cannot be securely locked. Even after tightening the adjustment, there’s a tendency for the scope to drop, spoiling the careful set-up. This will make it really difficult to focus on objects much smaller than the moon. Overall though the light weight and portability is impressive.

If you are like me and sceptical as to which one to go for and cautious to the quality, fear not, this telescope is amazing, the detail you can see of the moon is breathe taking. I am still in shock. Fantastic buy, took a little bit of time to get used to using it but when I finally did the views were amazing! All round great product. Would recommend. My only issue is my iPhone camera doesn’t work well with the phone holder, however that is nothing to do with the actual telescope itself. 100% would recommend!!

It’s been too cloudy for star, planet or moon gazing since I bought this telescope but it was easy to set up, is portable, and the views of distant telegraph poles have been very clear! I’m looking forward to trying it when the weather improves.

On a side note, this was delayed due to lack of stock in the UK and was supposed to be a Christmas present. However I cannot fault the communication regarding the shortage and I was informed as soon as it returned to stock.

Really good fun and simple to use. Set up and practice in daylight as per advice. Delighted with lunar photographs after a bit of experimentation on camera-phone settings (used timer to allow vibrations to settle). Every clear night I’m out looking for a planet or whatever is interesting. Very high angles are trickier to view – but possible.

Opened up the telescope this morning which comes in a sturdy portable carry bag 80 x 25 x 10 cms is comfortable to carry and is protective of the equipment.
Follow the advice in the user manual set the telescope up in daylight and take your time. I attached my Apple i6 mobile and focused it on to a tree just under 800 metres away using the lowest magnification. First impressions are most impressive and exactly what I am looking for – an adaptable day/night telescope for observing the planets and country life. All I need now is a clear night sky, can’t wait.

Product turned up as expected. Sky has been very cloudy so not had a chance to use but excited to see results. Also ordered 2x Barlow which arrived yesterday as well. Let’s see what happens.
I bought this for my 9 year old son. The assembly was very easy with clear instructions meaning he was able to use it almost immediately. The product feels solid and the diagonal lens makes it easy for him to view when on the tripod. The phone adapter is also a good addition for him giving him instant access to the image as well as the opportunity to put them straight onto his device. Very pleased.
The Slokey 2x Barlow lens arrived quickly from Amazon. I haven’t used the lens yet but it looks very well made and is solid. It looks good value. and I am pleased with this purchase.

As you can see in the attached picture, this lens provides a 5x increase in resolution compared to prime focus and this also matches with what Stelarium simulates for my scope and camera with a 5x Barlow. There is a bit of chromatic aberration visible, but that could be partly caused by this being a rough focus for a test. Will update once I’ve used it with precise focusing.

My first astroscope I have owned after years of wanting one. After looking at the recent comet with binoculars I decided to get one. After much research I decided this was the one. Great mag, and portable. Tried it on a clear night and could make out the band’s on Jupiter and a good from mars. Unfortunately cloud came in and haven’t used since but so far very happy.
Arrived promptly and looks great. Haven’t tried it yet though.

Everything is clearly explained in the instructions, so that it is very easy to understand how to operate, how it works and what you are looking at. After a couple of uses, I got a lot better at finding tiny objects and can fairly easily visualise Saturn’s rings or Jupiter’s moons. The moon is stunning.
The eyepieces and barlows that come with it offer enough magnification to see Jupiter and Saturn. You can buy extra barlows or eyepieces off of Slokey’s website.
One thing that I really liked is customer support. One of the eyepieces that I got came with dust and an imperfection. I contacted the company and they sent their apologies and shipped a new piece right away.

I bought this for my husband who was delighted. We’ve both enjoyed looking at the moon, unfortunately our night skies have been overcast the last few nights but after 1st experience know we will both enjoy using this telescope. It was easy to set up and gives great clarity. Bonus, it is portable and light weight with a carry case. We’re looking forward to taking it with us on holiday in France next year. Can strongly recommend this telescope to amateur star gazers.
Brought the 5x and 2x lenses to use with celestron telescope and eyepieces. These two barlow lenses worked a treat! Mars, saturn anf Jupiter looked great, clear and sharp focus. Customer service is also very good. Would recommend and buy again.

Love this telescope, it’s a perfect size. Big enough to do the job but not soo big that it’s awkward and not easily moved. Now if could just make the weather better….!

With this being my first telescope I’m still figuring it out but the process it a lot of fun, unfortunately I have yet to view the moon (Here’s almy first photo of venus instead), and I only figured out how to improve the view of the planet venus after the photo I posted was taken.
As for the telescope, while I have nothing to compare it to, I’m still beyond impressed, it does everything it has set out to do and then some. My only complaint is that it wobbles quite a bit when touched or knocked but thats probably due to the tripod being rather lightweight since it’s probably more of a travel scope. Still, it’s easy enough to work around and doesn’t bother me too much, weights can be added for more stability after all.
I love how the telescope comes in a carry bag, even the bag is really good quality material, just like everything else and makes it so easy to pack and store away or transport around.
I can’t think of any issues that would put a negative on anything, it comes with a 2 year warrenty so any slights out of the box can be worked around.
Overall whether you’re new to telescopes like I am or have more experience, this Telescope with well worth the money!

Bought this item specifically for use with my Bresser electronic eyepiece.
A barlow lens is the only way to change the magnification as the Bresser eyepiece replaces the standard telescope eyepiece.
The Bresser eyepiece can get warm with prolonged use and the metal construction and close tolerances result in a snug fit which conducts the heat away nicely.
Nicely made piece of equipment for a beginners telescope at a reasonable price. Assembly instructions nice and clear but images for mounting findescope confusing – bracket reversed. Setting finderscope up can be fiddly and time consuming but end result worthwhile. Some form of additional height adjustment on the tripod would be useful but realise not possible with the pricing. Now hoping for some clear skies to do some observations.
Bought this to give a little more on my celestron astromaster 76eq looking at Jupiter and Saturn and wasn’t disappointed.

So I mainly bought this just for the tiny end lenses to transform my current Barlow lens from x2 to x5. I knew from the length of this Barlow that my telescope would not focus properly as the barrel is much longer. I’ve got to say my clarity of the magnification is much better than my 40 Celestron x2 lens. The images are clear where as with my celestron I suffer with pixilation distortion of glare from some coating that’s on there. Nice handy thing is the screw in barrel end straight into my camera prime lenses that my current Barlow does not have. Fantastic product and fast delivery, now I have 2 of these and i stack them to be able to see things closer, even on their own, (used between your own lens and telescope), they are great. They also have a 1.25 thread where you can add your own filters (not included). I viewed Saturn and jupiter last night and it was aclear and picture perfect view
