This indoor out door thermometer hydrometer is a really well made simple to use and set up instrument.
I now have 4 in place around our farm houses.
I am now giving them as presents to friends and family.. well done thermopro.
A very happy irish custome
A very nice little unit that sits on my desk without taking up hardly any real estate. Unit’s display is clear and easy to read. Shows inside temp constantly has the ability to either switch automatically between three external sensors or show one constantly. I have two external sensors one in my attic and one outside, the unit cycles between these two every 6 seconds and ignores channel 3 due to it not being used.
The biggest selling point of this unit for me is the lack of app, bluetooth, IoT rubbish and no need to connect to the Internet. It is simple, effective and does it’s job with no muss or fuss.
Remote sensor has a red led on it which flashes intermittently, for the unit located outside; I covered the LED with electrical tape to hide it.
Overall, a great little unit thats easy to use and read and very accurate.
I love the dual reading and humidity, so necessary in the UK! but I’d like to see high/low readings too. It may be possible, I only set it up yesterday, and didn’t read the small print cover to cover.
This is an attractve little unit and really very useful! It’s easy to install- my main difficulty was working out where to place the outside transmitter! The installed magnets are a very useful feature for placement: mine is plonked on the fridge – and the display is large and easy to read. I usually stick my hand outdoors to check humidity, but I guess a more scientific approach might be appropriate … Attractive and useful, and good value – no more shivering to check the temp. outside on a cold winter’s day. Ah! the wonders of simple modern technology. Well done all round. Amazon even managed same day delivery – must have caught what the post office used to call “the early post” way back in Edwardian Times …
If you are on the fence (for inside/outside temp/humidity) deciding between this unit and the more expensive Netatmo system, go with this. Rock solid connection, accuracy is excellent for the price and no confusing, downright stupid instructions that make no sense. The best bit, it just works. With Netatmo if you lose your internet you cannot use the equipment, the smartphone app often does not work. Also no data collection as this system is not internet enabled.
My last ThermoPro was the TP60 bought in 2017. This TP65C is much larger with a very clear screen and much simpler to set up and use, the outdoor sensor is much better than my old one, changing the batteries are much simplified. Would highly recommend.
I ordered the ThermoPro TX-2C Additional Outdoor Sensor to my existing ThermoPro TP65C station but the two does not work together reliably. The original sensor came with the TP65C (supposedly also a TX-2C) works very well for a year now. The additional one ordered just now had great difficulties syncing to TP65C. Took almost an hour and trying various channels. But eventually it lost connection in several minutes. Managed to establish connection one last time which also took lots of time and being lost very quick. It was next to or in the very near vicinity of the TP65C all the time (the original sensor is normally ca. 7m away beyond a wall).
This way it cannot be used and had to be sent back.
It is pitty I am unable to give feedback to the TP65C and the original sensor separately from the additional sensor becuse that would been 5 star.

Update:
Asking product support on their homepage about if the problem with TX-C2 is a one off thing or could be systematic ended up receiving a new full package (TP65C + TX-C2) without any further explanations or asking for such, no charge. My home tests on the new package show that the original TP65C + TX-C2 combo – purchased exactly 1 year ago – is incompatible with the newly sent ones. So old TP65C cannot see new TX-C2, new TP65C cannot see old TX-C2. If you, like me, having an old TP65C then a newly ordered TX-C2 sensor will not work with it. Visually nothing show the difference, looks the same, the labels are almost the same (except company addresses and QC label dates), the type numbers are exactly the same, but internally something is different.
Now I have two base stations and 3 sensors unwillingly, the new base station and two new sensors carrying out the function I desired, plus having the old base station + sensor as a bonus, all for the price of one base station with sensor plus one additional sensor. It is a bit of hustle having the extra sensor this way but if you have and old TP65C and want aditional sensor you will need to write to the product support complaining the incompatibility (they are quick to respond and send new device right away).
I restored my 1 star rating to 4 (only because of the hustle involved, otherwise it was 5 based on product function).
This review is for the TP65C (which is the larger screen and has a remote outdoor sensor)
I have another reviewer here to thank for the particular use-case that I’ve deployed this for.
I wanted one well-placed outdoor sensor (in the garden, but in the shade) – and *two* inside monitors. When putting in or replacing the batteries on these units, they re-set and talk to each other once again. The ‘CH’ button also forces this handshake process.
As such – by buying this product twice – I have one outdoor sensor working brilliantly with two monitors its linked to, and of course a spare outdoor sensor.
Notes:
Too early to talk about battery life; I’m using Energizer lithiums – but my sense is that they will last well
The outdoor unit pings the inside monitors every 50 seconds – a red flash on the outdoor monitor, and a ‘radio’ icon flashes on on the indoor monitor screen – and the parameters duly update
These units use 868MhZ – which seems to be definitely living up to its reputation for being able to penetrate walls and the like. It’s easily and reliably reaching from our garden well into the bowels of the house, and the loft room
The display is lovely and ‘solid’ (good contrast) – and big.
Accuracy seems to be awesome! I’ve been comparing using lab mercury thermometers (you can’t get those any more)
The touch-screen buttons along the bottom of the screen are a nice – touch
Read the instructions – as you can set the Min/Max record to show either ‘All-time’, or ’24 hours’
This indoor/outdoor thermometer is useful and easy to read.
Easy to install
Seems like a good thermometer
Small white box for outside readings that sends info to digital reader
And digital display unit for indoor and out door readings
Not the range for the old satellite of the Oregon model it has replaced. I had to relocate it closer. Nice clear base figures. Easily read. As with so many electronic items, to early to give a fully picture..
ested it against my brothers much more exspensive one and it read the same, so im very pleased with it.
Easy to install and value for money. Be patient with setting this up. The outside monitor was reading a little higher than the indoor monitor to begin with and I thought like other reviewers this was faulty but no – I realised that it was reading higher because I’d been handling it putting the batteries in so it was logical when you think about it to be reading higher!! It soon settled down when I put it outside. Helped us loads during this hot spell to monitor when the outside temp was cooler than the inside so we could then throw open the doors and windows to cool the house down.
I bought this after the recent heatwaves we have been having. It is so easy to set up. I am seriously considering buying a second sensor to put in my home.
This is such a good purchase
It all worked well from the start. Nice display which can be read in the dark by pressing the backlight button. The remote sensor connects well with the main unit. Batteries included which is nice.
I think the temperature accuracy is just about within the +-1% in the specification.
Compared with my existing small monitors and it is spot on.
Now easier to know the real outdoor temp and humidity without having to check with small monitor being moved outside each time to check
Did as advertised and helped us manage the temperature in the house.
Seems very accurate comparing it to the other digital thermometers I have. The sensor range is very impressive and at the moment is working about 40metres away from the base right at the end of the garden. Blue light can’t be set to always on but I understand why. Display is clear though and the max high/low info is useful.
Easy to set up, put the sensor in the shade outside.
Bought this indoor outdoor thermometer in advance of the UK heatwave. It gives the impression of a good quality item at a nice price. Has worked well so far. Instruction manual was well written. Can’t comment on the durability as yet, but the construction seems solid – hopefully the electronics are similar.
I’ve had this installed in the campervan for over six months and it seems to work great.
Easy to use clear display. Would be nice if it was more customisable but does what it’s meant to.
The devices are Great. I have a meaco dehumidifier and the readings were comparable with that (within the permissable variation). I have the device with the outdoor sensor. Extremely useful to know when to open doors/window or not.
After a period of time the device began to show LL.L (as shown on the pic). I messaged the company through amazon. I have rarely been so impressed with customer service. They responded each time within hours and are currently sending out a new device for me. I was so impressed I came straight here to write this review! I have full trust in the company and the device now so won’t hesitate to buy from them again.
Working fine , link between outside and in drops out now and then , could see no reason for that , if left alone it springs back ok for me
This is a good product and great value. Would buy again.
Easy to setup and install, this has helped us to understand and deal with high humidity issues in our home. This had been causing mould and allergy issues but now we can look to reduce this through heating and ventilation. I would recommend this device.
Bought this to replace an old Ascot unit. Just gives inside/outside temperature and humidity with min/max facility. Large display so easy to read. Outside sensor about 10m from Main unit and works perfectly. Very happy with this but.
Worked fine for years, remote sensor started malfunctioning after 2+ years, ThermoPro refunded me.
Does exactly what we want. Tells the temperature outdoors and i
Very easy to set up. Only says in and outside temp and humidity but does so effectively and can be read from 3 m away
Bought as a gift for our Son-in-Law who says ” it’s fantastic, great “
Bought it to monitor the humidity in house easy to use and read really happy with i
I have two thermopros in different rooms which work perfectly.
I purchased my 3rd for outdoor temp, works great. Very handy to have.
Clear display and accurate read out
Max / Min recall not so easy, but I worked it out eventually
Very easy to install and device sets itself up to pair with remote sensor. Easy to read display. I cannot really comment on its accuracy as I have nothing definitive to measure it against but it appears to be accurate. The main unit can be freestanding using a built in support but it also has two magnets on the back for attaching to anything metal and an aperture to wall mount via a small screw (not supplied). Very pleased with this instrument so far.
Bought for an un-usual use, which I thought it may not work for…..but it does. My outdoor Hot Tubs ambient temperature beneath it’s protective cover, as the temperatures dropped towards freezing, was of some concern. I put the Transmitter in a small food storage box and tested it on the rim of the Tub, down the side wall, and the outside temperature too. I could see what the minimum temperature fell to over-night, which was so handy. So, for me, this is a brilliant Thermometer. Gold Star operation.
Takes a vary long time at first then it will equalise out. Very useful bit of equipment. So impressed I bought 2 would highly recommend
Large, clear numerals are easy to read, with the outdoor figures a little larger than the indoor. Appears to be accurate for both temperature and humidity. The only negative is that the default for max and min is for all time, rather than the last 24hrs. An extra button press is required for readings for last 24hrs.
Wasn’t too sure about ordering this product but thought I would give it a go due to the reviews posted. I am very impressed with its accuracy and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for an easy to read outdoor temperature facility from indoors. I know the inside temperature is working accurately so assume the outdoor one is doing the same as it seems to agree with weather app suggested temperatures! No problem at all setting up and hope it continues to prove reliable.
Arrived next day, had to discard the batteries for the ext.sender unit, the instructions on opening the door on battery compartment a bit poor, it opens from the very bottom of the unit. To initialise the two units was straight forward, quite happy with the results, save me going out and looking at a thermometer, I can add two more sender units if required, a good purchase.
This device is so easy to set-up and use. I have standalone digital thermometers, and its reassuring they all agree within 0.5 degrees.
I would also add, if you handle the indoor/device with screen, it is easily influenced by the heat from you hands, showing an inflated temperature. Hence its best to either have it attached to a metal surface with the magnets on the back of the device, or just use the in built stand.
A great little unit with wireless outdoor temp senso
it tells me temp and moisture indoors and out and the highs and lows. That’s what I wanted and it was just over twenty quid which is way cheaper than buying one of those oregon weather station things.
I wanted something unfussy that just gave me the basics. This does the job and is value for money. My only complaint is that I seem to need to press the sync button quite a lot to get the outside reading. It doesn’t have a clock either but that’s a minor quibble.
I can’t testify to longevity but I got this to complement 4 indoor-only equivalents from the same manufacturer. After leaving them sitting in a room next to eachother for several hours all devices registered the same humidity give or take 1%. I am happy to trust these are accurate. But they do seem to take a while to adjust. They also hover close to what my MECO dehumidifier registers at least when its fan is not on.
It was ok to start with. Th in house gauge uses batteries quite quickly. But out side sender unit lost its accuracy with in 18 months. Wife had to buy replacement..
Used to keep a remote eye on temp & humidity in a plant storage area.
Super big bright screen, easy to read all the data.
I needed a few clicks only to set it up and the metrics are very accurate. Very helpful for someone who wants to compare indoor vs outdoor humidity and temperature. The historic data available is also a plus.
I ordered this to replace an electronic indoor / outdoor thermometer dating back to the ’90s that still worked but had an unreliable radio link. This met my requirements for a simple uncluttered screen and a good radio link. Arrived the following day and was up and running withi 10 minutes. An excellent product and excellent service.
Bought this for use in my caravan to replace a different model that had failed. Wireless communication works well. Outdoor sensor mounted to a small piece of wood which clips onto jockey wheel post outside. Have to remove to hook up caravan -so will not be forgotten about!
Works well. Very pleased with it ,and readings compare with my home weather station. It is ideal for a domestic temp/humidity monitor.
I bought the product to provide a reasonably accurate measure of temperature and humidity outside. I wanted it to be comparable with records from nearby stations. I house the temperature sensor in a “Stevenson” type screen.
1) I am not a fan of touch screens and it took me a week to operate it properly to bring up max and min temperature and to write them down before the display disappears!
2) There is no mention of the frequency of registering temperature and humidity. I found this to be every 50 sec approximately.
3) I found the explanation of the flashing RF icon rather confusing, Sometimes it flashes a lot, but not at all most of the time. I cannot find the reason from the booklet.
However these are minor moans since it worked as soon as it was set up and gives me quite good results including a max and min for a reasonable price.
Good that it is compact and also has a magnet so is easy to put in suitable visible place. I have the outside one under a rain guard to save it from the worst bad weather – it’s designed to prevent water getting in – only time will tell how effective that is – but the units seem well made. The inside display has a feature that indicates the trend of temperature (rising arrow or falling arrow) which is also useful. The set up directions were good provided you used a magnifying glass!
It’s nice looking, I think it’s reasonable accurate, I put the remote sensor and the room device next to each other, there was 1 degre difference in the reading and about 5 points difference in humidity.
I have put them about 14 meters apart, one at patio the other in the garage, 2 closed doors/2 walls between them they were still connected.
I’ve only had it for 3, 4 days but so far am please with.
I bought this indoor / outdoor thermometer over six months ago and it still performs faultlessly. I had a slight issue when the batteries ran flat and had a quick response from customer service that sorted it out.
Highly recommended product and customer service.
An easy to read and accurate gauge of both temperature and humidity ( had another gadget to make comparisons). Took a little bit of time to set up but simple once you get going.
Good little device, loses the signal once in a while but overall good.
I am using 1 additional sensor, so 1 external sensor and 1 to check the temperature in an outside room as well as the indoor temp. All checked and recording accurate temps. My only tiny niggle is that I have to put my glasses on to see which sensor is showing the temp at any particular moment, as the 2 remote sensor display on the base unit alternately.
I bought this to monitor the temp and humidity in my garage, which is next to but not joined to the house. It was easy to set up, seems accurate, hasn’t lost the connection at any point. It’s easy to read and set. I may buy another sensor for the greenhouse.
I’ve only had this device for a few days but it’s a this great little device I found the outdoor transmitter is strong enough to send the signal back to the base unit at approximately 20 m.
It is quite small and compact but the screen is very easy to read and the display is very clear the backlight is unbelievably helpful to when you don’t want to wake anyone else up if you’re going to work early.
As it stands now I would highly recommended I’ve also so considered buying a second sensor and adding to the the system
It’s great, now have accurate outside temp and humidity and also indoors, measures in increments of 0.1, so you get a very precise reading. Helped me understand and control the humidity levels in my house. So far, so good. Easy to setup, just turn it in, automatically recognised the external sensor.
Good range of the “outside” station; good update frequency; data agrees well with other temperature/humidity sensors.
Very useful. I have the master unit in the living room and one sensor outside, another in the bedroom and the last in the bathroom. Now I know just when to open a window to lower the humidity. I can move any part to another room easily and I haven’t found the limit of the wireless range yet.
A little trial and error in the set up with the outside piece. Needs to be close to the device (Mine is about 8 feet away). And what I learned, get good fresh batteries! When they do start to run out the temperature stays the same for inside and out and doesn’t reset. Also the outside signal will fail. So when this happens, change the batteries.
Bought this and am very happy with it, very easy to set up and pretty straight forward to use. I have since bought an additional receiver which in itself works fine, the only nag I have is that when using more than one receiver the display changes approx every 7 seconds but will also display the 3rd receiver which reads blank (you can connect a max of 3 receivers per unit) As I am a bit OCD I have now bought another receiver so I won’t have any blank displays.
I have compared the outcomes with the TP55 which I bought earlier and the temperature shows a minor difference of 0.1 degrees and humidity is about 2% lower. That is within specified tolerances. The outdoor sensor results in similar values in case you place it very close to the device and wait some hours. After placing it outside the connection works fine (about 15m).
Easy set up, simply install the batteries and press to connect. Indoor display is large and easy to read, outdoor sensor more compact than I was expecting. Purchased to place near front door to show outside temperature, which is the most prominent number, temperature reported matches well with other units / car sensors. Don’t really use the humidity reading but matches well with an Oregon Scientific Weatherstation. Battery operated so no worries about locating near a plug, backlight button for night use. Tempted to buy another for the conservatory temperature. Rcommended
Very easy to use, clear to read.
Temperature accuracy is =/- 1.1 degrees C. With the two sensors side by side they read 1 degree different. I don’t know which if either was correct. The relative humidity readings were very close together.
Every morning when we dress the kids for school we find ourselves wondering “how cold is outside”. Then we might take out the phones for the weather report etc. The external sensor helps to resolve this much faster since the answer is now immediately available, great to save time during those hectic mornings.
As you can see we were using the smaller interior only model, I have always found that one to underestimate the temperature by 0.5 to 1 degree. I found pleasing that this model is more accurate and the internal and external sensors agree precisely with each other.
Some care needs to be taken regarding using batteries that can handle low temperature in the external sensor. I found the range quite sufficient in a normal sized house.
The backlight in the unit is a great addition, however we find the touch controls with the dual functionality a bit hard to use and that could be improved if replaced with normal / haptic controls.
A good clear display. Instructions are simple to follow. I don’t know how accurate this display is as I do not have a reference. All I need is to view any big changes.
This was to put the external transmitter in my caravan which is parked up on the drive, and covered, for winter and to keep an eye on the temperature and humidity from inside the house.
I have recently purchased another TP65 to keep an eye on my homebrew in my shed and the difference between the units is negligeable.
The reason I bought another TP65 is that the external transmitter is not that cheap so it seemed a good idea to buy the whole unit.
I use this along with three outdoor sensors. This unit sits in the bedroom where I also have the older thermopro model which doesn’t connect to the outdoor sensors. The indoor temperatures between the two devices are always nearly a whole degree different. I don’t think that’s very good tbh but they’re still useable.
After three years it is still working. One outdoor temperature unit I had connected fell down in the wind and got wet which broke it so I had to buy a replacement but this main unit has been okay. Now the new thermostats have a rechargeable option (they’re also waterproof which would have been useful a few months ago!) but the main unit cannot be mains powered. It’s the main unit that drains batteries the fastest. It’s also the unit most likely to be by a plug socket so I have absolutely no idea why there is no option to buy a rechargeable version or to run it from a power adaptor. Even if they told you to buy your own 3v adaptor and just put a socket in the back that costs pennies it would solve the problem. Please update thermopro as I’m fed up with changing batteries every couple of months!
So far I am liking the device.
It was very easy to set up, easy to understand and looks good. I had no problem connecting the outside sensor to the hub.
However I am a little worried about the accuracy of the device. I have another thermopro that I use to monitor my houseplant corner and it’s got a different reading to this newer item and even though the sensor is in the same place, the sensor is giving a different humidity reading.
I’m not sure which one I can trust as accurate.
Easy to set up. I have sjogrens (autoimmune disease) I have Dyson humidifiers in each room as part of the disease means I have dry eyes, mouth, skin, throat and need moisture. I have the base station in the kitchen then a monitor in the bedroom and one in the lounge. I can then see the humidity reading in each room and will know I need to set the humidifiers running before I go to bed or in the lounge if the humidity drops too low. Which in winter it drops very low with the heating on in the house.
Excellent Indoor/Outdoor Unit and very good value for money. Out of the many such units available on Amazon I selected this one on the basis of design and functionality and have not been disappointed. It’s accurate (values are within 1% of my professional weather station, which this unit was bought to supplement), reliable, well designed and easy to read. The magnets on the back of the main display unit are a great feature and allow it to be mounted on a fridge or any steel faced appliance or stainless steel cupboard door. The backlighting feature is also useful in dark areas – it will reduce battery life if used frequently however. The RH readings are an additional bonus as are the Max/Min readings although there doesn’t seem to be a distinction between All Time and 24 Hr. Fitting the remote sensor outdoors in a sheltered but secure position is tricky and fiddly – finding a dome headed screw of the right size was a challenge – it would have been great if one had been supplied. Care needs to be taken to keep the remote sensor(s) in range too – I bought an additional one for location in an Orangery – if there are too many walls between it and the base station it will lose contact. Overall a great purchase, outstanding delivery (it came within 18 hours even on free delivery service) and excellent value for money.
I bought the ThermoPro TP65 together with an extra remote sensor primarily to monitor conditions in a new conservatory. I have been most impressed with this well made piece of kit, which is simplicity itself to set up and operate. With the main unit in the hallway in the house I can see in particular what the relative humidity is in the conservatory at a glance, and it’s so easy to page through the readings from the other remote sensors as well. With the main unit and up to three remotes, you can monitor four different zones in the house. Checking the readings against known values has shown this kit to be very accurate for the price too.
Can’t comment yet on battery life, hence the 4 stars in that category, but overall this is an excellent piece of kit and I would recommend it without hesitation.
My application is possibly a little unusual, in that I only wanted one transmitter (outside) but more than one receiver indoors (most people seem to want to go the other way, and have multiple external transmitters). I had achieved this with a number of Technoline units but was looking for a change after one failed and was now an obsolete design.
These units pair with their transmitter(s) each time the batteries are replaced so in my case it was a simple task to put the batteries in several units one after the other and then the single transmitter, resulting in that one transmitter serving several receivers. This unit syncs more easily than the Technoline devices I was using in that they sometimes took several attempts to sync in the first place. These have so far worked first time, every time.
It is too early to judge on battery life, however I used the supplied batteries elsewhere in favor of lithium batteries which should last longer than alkaline. The remote senders transmit their temperature and humidity data at approx 30s intervals so should be fairly frugal in their demands on the battery. Finally, the instruction manual for this item is available from the manufacturer’s website and is worth a look at before purchase.
I liked the fact that as soon as put batteries in, it synchronised with the two external senders. I have one in my garage and one in my greenhouse. The greenhouse is about 60 metres away and the signal passes through two walls and a door, but is received and displayed with no problem.
I have compared the temperature reading on the indoor sensor with some other thermometers and it seems to be about half a degree C higher than the mean – but knowing that, I can live with it. The touch screen works well too – very intuitive. Good value and recommended.
I have to be honest, I really like this.
I have the sensor in a grow tent and the receiver on my desk. It just works really well, took a couple of minutes to setup and sync, but then your good to go. I have another one of these without the separate sensor which also works great.
The screen is very bright, easy to use, clear and the batteries seem to last for ever.
I could not find a fault with this device, and the price is a bargain !!
This is in comparison to model tp55 (left).Difference in humidity readings 7%, temperature difference 0.4 degree. Compared to proper thermometer the diffrence is about 1.8 degree. Overal this is good product which gives you some indication about themperature and humidity. Minus one star becouse it could have been spot on with readings.
Good clear backlit display and works well with remote sensor which I have in garden summerhouse 25m from house/main display. Options for wall hanging or table top mounting of main display. It took a few hours for the remote and main to read the same when next to each other (slow response time), but after that has worked without problem. A potentially useful feature is the possibility of adding an extra two remote sensors in different locations – the main display can then cycle around each in turn automatically or be fixed on any one (plus the main display).
Summarising, very pleased with this device and consider it good value for money, although I did replace the included batteries with Duracell long life type. Cannot verify accuracy, but the specification states +/-1.1degC, +/-2% from RH 30% to 80%, +/-3% below 30% and above 80% which is as good as you can expect at this price point. Displays current temperature and humidity, plus max and min and trending. Cannot comment on reliability yet as only a week old, but there is a one year warrantee.
Works well so far. Better display than the TP60. Larger, and with back-light,
And unlike the TP60, the TP65 receiver is both free-standing and it has twin magnetic back mounts.
What is worth noting is that the outdoor sender unit will work with BOTH the TP60 and TP65.
And that ANY NUMBER of receiver units can pick up the signal from ONE SENDER.
Keep the unused outdoor senders as maintenance spares.
Although these items are made in Chinaland, and branded in Germany, they look better, and
seem better made, than cheapo versions which are available.
I hope my extra investment proves to be worth it in the long run.
.
Nice looking product with easy to set up and easy to use functions… complete with all batteries… so what’s wrong with it… the fixing screw slots… perhaps they should either, provide screws or make the slots bigger. I’ve a ton of screws in my 35 year collection but not one of them had a head small enough to fit the slots whilst remaining good enough to screw into wood (choice of fitting location)…
I work for a company that specialises in temperature measurement to a pharmaceutical standard so i know how to verify readings on this type of device. Although putting sensors close together is not technically accurate enough, its the best we can do for these and gives satisfactory results. Firstly, the remote sensor tracked the main unit very closely within 0.3 or 0.4 degrees and sometimes better. I used a third device from work to verify the accuracy and they were close to 0.3 or 0.4 to that equipment meaning it would have passed a test to monitor health and medicine products. The spec is quite wide which i can understand as these are only for the home but the spec was greatly exceeded. I think i will actually use the remote sensor in another part of the house, one upstairs, one downstairs to help balance the heating and keep a more constant temperature around the house. The devices seem well constructed and do not feel or look cheap and setup was easy, i just put the batteries in and they found each other. Three remote sensors can be added and their readings scrolled through CH1, CH2, CH3 etc. Lastly, the humidity readings also appeared accurate to the environment and again, remote and main unit tracked each other when sat together either exactly or only one percent different which is very good.
