Not used yet to know who efficient it is; but thermostat in my experience is the best. Appearance wise I would defo recommend although a bit pricey because of appearance as other different colours cheaper – which I Dont understand why.
Brilliant. It will fit quite a large amount of food in and keeps it warm for lunch. I can make hot soups at the weekend, warm them up in the microwave before work and have hot soup at lunchtime at work.
I went for this as I knew the brand. It was slightly more expensive but I wanted something for my kids for school lunches over the winter. They suggest to fill it with boiling water to warm up the inside before putting yoir food in so I did that and it kept the food warm for hours! Certainly more than long enough to last until lunchtime. At first I thought they were too small but they store enough for lunch.
Perfect for work. Keeps my food warm from when I prep it in the morning to lunch time
Having the spoon come with it is an added bonus as one less thing for me to forge
This is our second purchase as older son was so happy, I bought one for the younger one too. They take hot lunches to school and it’s just perfect for keeping the meal nice and warm until then.
Only niggle: the mouth of the canister is so small, I always spill food when trying to fill it. Stay away from the fiddly spaghettis and other kinds of big or long shaped food. The canister is best for small pastas and small diced meat etc.
I wish it was a tiny bit bigger in volume. The next level up is just too big which we have also.
It worths every penny . Has saved my trips at night in the kitchen to boil the water . Keeps the water hot more than 12 h You just need to proper boil the water first and then close properly the lid .
Already have the 0.7 L version but not always convenient to carry the bigger brother. That’s the reason for getting this 0.47 litre model; smaller and cant fit into the shoulder bag when out and about. The reason for only giving it 4 stars is the lid which doubles as a cup is too shallow. Thermos could have designed it deeper.
However there is one redeeming feature compared to its big brother is that this model has a folded spoon buried in its stopper lid. I should have waited 6 months by which time would have found Prime Horizon Food Flask – 500ml which has better design and additional insulating carry bag for less price !
I bought it last year but only yesterday tried it. I put them inside ice cubes and wanted to see if they will melt. Apparently, I forgot that I had them when we went to the beach. So today I opened the thermos and they a little bit melted but it’s after 16 hours. It’s unbelievable!!!
I use it all the time, make soup piping hot at 7.45 and by 1pm it is still warm/hot… not hot hot but enough you can still enjoy it. Make sure you do the pre-heat before you fill
Keeps food warmer for longer than others we had. Just size is small. There needs to be one in between this the next size up. Would be better it it was wider for pasta, etc..
Bought for my teen daughter for school lunch. Wasn’t sure she’d like or use it, but she does. Great colour and shape. There’s a spoon in the lid and fits well. Food or soup stays hot and my daughter says she loves having a hot school lunch with this flask.
Even when pre heating the thermos it does not seem to keep the food as hot as I would expect.
That being said. It may have something to do with the delivery driver using my fence as a putting target father than bothering to open the gate and place items nicely
If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality thermos to keep your lunch warm for more than 8 hours, I highly recommend this one. This thermos is a game-changer for anyone who wants to enjoy a hot meal at work, on a hike, or while traveling.
A great feature of this thermos is the foldable spoon, because its very easy to forget the cutlery when you are in a hurry, and this thermos has it on the lid.
It is large enough to hold a full meal, including soup, stews, and casseroles, yet compact enough to fit into a backpack or tote bag. This makes it a great option for anyone who wants to enjoy a hot meal on the go.
Needed a flask for my lunchtime soup that wouldn’t leak when jostled around in my backpack and this thermos flask is perfect. Great portion size and keeps it piping hot – I fill it at 5am and eat at 1pm and often have to let the soup cook slightly as it’s too hot still. Great integrated spoon for easy lunch on the go.
My primary school aged son uses this for taking hot food in for his packed lunches.
We warm the food flask 1st with hot water.
The food is still warm 4 ish hours later.
He’s not had a problem opening the flask.
It’s never leaked.
It has saved me a fortune & given him more variety of food to eat for his lunches.
Keeps food hot from 6am till 4pm when I check my sons hot food he’s taken to school and check if any leftovers and food is still steaming hot. Highly recommend
Good product, holds a lot and keeps food hot from brekkie to lunch at least. Haven’t tried for cold food yet. Useful foldable spoon too. Has saved us buying wooden cutlery.
No leaks. Would by again.
We bought this Food flask as my daughter is a player and she has to travel a lot for tournaments and in scotland and since the weather is quite cold. So we needed something which can keep food hot for atleast for few hours.
But I must say it does more what is says and keep anything hot for atleast 10-12 hours. We normally start travelling in early morning at 6 am and and are back by late 7-8 pm and still the food is hot and refreshhing.
Even the taste of the food remains quite good. My daughter quite liked the color of the flask.
She just loves it. And wants to take it everywhere she goes as it gives her assurity of warm food in this cold weather.
In fact this is our third flask. And all are working very well. We are thermos user from last 3-4 years.
I bought this to take a bit lunch to work where there’s no microwave. I hear my food at about 7.30am and have lunch at 1pm and the food is warm but not hot. Good enough though. The folding spoon it comes with is very handy too.
Sturdy and sensible design, ideal for soups and stews. The inner lid can sometimes jam, and the joints of the folding spoon are tricky to clean. But, the contents don’t stay hot long enough. I’ve brought soup and stews to a good rolling boil, put boiling water in the flask to pre-heat it, and screwed the lid tight. After just a few hours the contents are nicely warm, but not really hot. It’s better than nothing, but I was really hoping for a piping hot meal!
I absolutely LOVE the thermos brand as I really rate how long they retain heat. I have tried countless non-branded food flasks (esp ones designed for babies/children) and they’ve always been rubbish, food would be stone-cold only 2 hours later. I’ve thrown away so many, so decided to risk buying a thermos food flask even though I wasn’t keen on the price. But once I got it, I wish I had bought it sooner! I’ve definitely saved money using these flasks as it stops me and my husband from buying lunch out. I have 3 food flasks now, 2x 470ml flask (this purchase) and 1x 710ml flask.
TIPS: I always fill the flask with boiling water and put the lid on for a few minutes whilst I heat up the food. Once food is ready to go in, I tip out the boiling water and fill immediately with food. I also always dice and mix the dish before putting it in, I’ve tried layering before (I.e: meat on top of mash Potatoes) and it’s just a pain. Always dice the meat and mix with the carb. Looks awful but tastes better.
I use the 470ml REGULARLY, I send my husband to work with a food flask everyday as he works outdoors and really appreciates a hot lunch in the winter. He leaves the house in between 6.30-7.30am and eats lunch around 1pm and his food is always hot. Not hot enough to blow, but hotter than “warm”. He declares it perfect eating temperature, and has to leave the lid off to let the food cool if he eats lunch before 1pm. He normally has a pasta dish of some sort, which I layer with mozzarella/cheddar cheese straight from the fridge – this is melted and stringy by the time he eats it. No, I’m not an oppressed wife. Just a feeder.
I also use this food flask for my 3 year old daughter as the selection at most softplays, suck ass. I also despise buying her a lunch for her to refuse it so I find the flask is an excellent alternative, I can fill it with food I know she’ll eat, it is (usually) healthier, and it’s cheaper! (Also if she doesn’t eat right away she can eat later and it’s still warm). We normally have leftovers (rice, noodles or pasta dishes). I tend to make her lunch 2-3 hours before she eats it, and it’s always too hot to serve straight from the flask. I once made her a pasta dish for lunch around 10am, but the softplay was dead quiet and I felt awkward next to a massive “only you only eat food purchased from [softplayname]”; unfortunately, my daughter goes to nursery with the softplay owner. So, I didn’t take out the flask there, but I was still out by 5pm (daughters dinner time) and decided to see how the pasta was and it was still warm! Warm enough for both of us to eat but I didn’t have to blow on the fork or anything.
Cons:
1: With any metal food flask, getting the odour out is always a pain. To combat this I use 1x tsp of bicarbonate and pour in white vinegar until it bubbles up and fills the whole flask. Once this calms down I fill it up with boiling hot water and leave for a few hours or overnight, then empty and clean as normal. Bit of a faff but it works. I have put mine in the dishwasher and the flask is perfectly fine but it does pick up a soapy odour which also annoys me so I hand wash it.
2: THE SPOON! If you only plan on eating soup then this won’t be an issue for you, but I never use my flask for soup, I wish it came with a spork! I always have to bring a fork with me which is a pain if I forget it, and putting dirty and used forks back in my bag is not ideal. Plus husband keeps leaving forks in his van. Annoying.
Not used yet to know who efficient it is; but thermostat in my experience is the best. Appearance wise I would defo recommend although a bit pricey because of appearance as other different colours cheaper – which I Dont understand why.
Great colour – great size – keeps food very hot for a long time – fantastic brand
Brilliant. It will fit quite a large amount of food in and keeps it warm for lunch. I can make hot soups at the weekend, warm them up in the microwave before work and have hot soup at lunchtime at work.
Amazing quality. Keeps the food warm, which is perfect for my little one.

Ideal for the packed lunch. Always sure that my kid has warm food like meatballs, spaghetti or sausages.

It can keep food and water hot for a long time.I use it to keep water hot and it usually lasts for a day. Really value for goods.

Just the right size for kids. Can keep warm for several hours. It’s good that a spoon is attached.

Keeps food warm, looks very smart and helpful to have a built in spoon. As it has a large opening can put in stews and larger items, not just soups.
Keeps food warmer for longer than others we had. Just size is small. There needs to be one in between this the next size up. Would be better it it was wider for pasta, etc..
Just the job for what I needed it for ample portion keeps things hot.
Food stays warm for hours, especially when prewarmed with hot water. Capacity is pretty good rather than perfect but I do eat a lot!
Nice wee flask does great for keeping stuff hot in winter months
My Grandchikd loves her flask. Pasta, and rice dishes in particular. A real change from sandwiches.
This is great. It keeps the hot food very hot and keeps cold food really cold. I just don’t know how it knows what to do.
Trust and believe this is the BEST it will keep your food very ho
Very good for keeping things hot or cold for long periods, my daughter uses it for her school lunch and is very happy with it.
Would highly recommend

The best thermos I had, highly recommend.
