Thrustmaster T300 RS GT Force Feedback Racing Wheel with 3 Pedals set – Official Gran Tursimo licensed – for PS4 and PC – works with PS5 games
SIMPLE WHEEL CHANGING SYSTEM
All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a quick and easy wheel changing system, allowing users to enjoy racing using different Thrustmaster wheels.
The ecosystem of Thrustmaster add-on wheels, composed of wheels sold separately without a base or pedals, offers T300RS users a wide selection of products specially designed for different motorsport styles: from GT circuit racing to rally racing on rough terrain, all options are open to Thrustmaster racers.
Simply rotate the locking system on the base of the T300RS to remove the current wheel, in order to attach a new wheel to the base.
The quick release system for the wheel only requires the use of a Phillips screwdriver, for excellent long-term gaming stability.
FAST, POWERFUL BRUSHLESS SERVOMOTOR
All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a brushless servomotor with nearly 25 watts of power, for fast and precise performance and impeccable control on any racing terrain.
Realistic, accurate transmission of the different elements of each race directly to the user’s hands makes this motor a must-have. Contrary to a simple brushed motor, the brushless motor technology built into the T300RS series racing wheels also allows for an extremely quiet racing experience.
The brushless motor’s endurance allows the racing wheel to maintain constant intensity and power in terms of Force Feedback, avoiding a loss of sensations even during very long gaming sessions.
As opposed to brushed motors, this brushless motor technology provides stability and dynamic performance for the driver right through to the end of every race.
DUAL-BELT SYSTEM
All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature a dual-belt system which reduces disruptive noises and allows for smoother movements, for a more supple and flexible driving experience.
The dual-belt mechanism allows for smoothing out of the different data elements received from the race course or circuit.
Thanks to its direct link to the brushless motor, the system removes the possible presence of any dead zones and decreases uncomfortable jolting, without detracting from the power with which effects are transmitted to the user, for optimal realism in all racing environments.
Also designed for and built into Thrustmaster’sflagship racing wheel series (T-GT and TS-XW, sold separately), this system represents a significant technological evolution in terms of performance, for races where the details can make all the difference.
PROPRIETARY MAGNETIC TECHNOLOGY
All products in the T300RS series (T300RS, T300RS GT and T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition) feature Thrustmaster’sproprietary magnetic technology, for optimal wheel precision that won’t decrease over time: enjoy reliability that’s recognized as a gold standard by virtual racers worldwide.
Thrustmaster’spatented contactless H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRateTechnology) system, without any potentiometers, allows for an unlimited product lifespan and optimal precision throughout gaming sessions: up to 16-bit resolution, with 65,536 values.
An excellent investment for all gamers looking to get started racing, keep up their skills or significantly improve their racing performance, this proprietary technology also spearheads a variety of Thrustmaster’s high-end products — including the T-LCM Pedals pedal set, and its flagship T-GT and TS-XW series racing wheels (all sold separately).

Best mid-tier wheel on the market to upgrade to from an entry level wheel, i tried to think of something bad to say about it but nothing comes to mind. At a stretch the only complaint i could make is that the pedals that come with it are of a lower quality but at this price you’re really paying for the wheel and not the pedals if you’re after decent pedals you get them separately, for what they are they get the job done.
The best option you can find on the market for beginners. Just need to equip with a good stand and a chair for it 🙂
Very good wheel for getting into sim racing. Good force feedback, works well. Friend of mine has the Logitech and that is much noisier than this is. They also hold their value well so when you want to upgrade which you will if you get into this then you won’t lose much money should you decide to sell instead of keeping it as a backup.
Wheel is great to use, the force feedback is rather strong! Had a lot of fun with it so far!
Purchased this for the servo base and I must say I am very impressed with quality. I play F1 2022 and the difference between controller and wheel is massive , much easier to control corners .
Upgraded to this from a Logitech G29, much smoother than that wheel. I play mainly GT 7 and the force feedback is great, i can feel what the car is doing, pedals are good too (but worth attaching the included brake mod) overall I would highly recommend this as an upgrade.
I’ve given this wheel and pedals set 4/5 because I’d liked to have seen some led lights to show rev count/when to change gear… The startup test it does to me seems a bit rough as it bashes from one end of its travel to the other.. and the wheel itself feels just a tad on the small side. Other than that it’s built well, steel pedals with decent travel, none of the stuff brake pedal you hear about with other sets. It’s quiet and responsive. Also easily upgradable to add a gear stick.
Great update to my G25, quieter and better force feedback. Very smooth and works great in following games: Dirt3/4 Dirt rally 2, Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, Grid Autosport and NFS Shift 2. Ironically the biggest difference between this and my G25 is not the wheel but the brake pedal – works so much better as I can brake later and not have to “pump” the pedal so much.
This is a very very good wheel. The feedback is smooth and the built quality awesome soo far. Compared to the competition logitech g29, the feedback is smoother. Only slight downside is that I find the clamp can be hard to unscrew on removal.seems the screw wedges itself in allittle after player for long time. I have also found that the clamp won’t fit tables with large (tall) cross beams under them as the clamp is shallow. I got around this by using a wheel stand (so isn’t a huge issue for me). Overall I’m very happy with this wheel
It has stronger force feedback than I expected, I had never used a sim wheel but can definitely feel the bumps and wheels losing grip (depends on the game of course). It was really easy to set up and get working. I do recommend looking up some FFB settings videos and trying a few out until you find one you like. The wheel feels nice and quite heavy for it’s size, gives a quality feel in the hand when playing and is a very nice size for racing. The buttons are good too, feel a little bit more wobbly than a PS controller but they work fine and are in a nice location to access most of them while racing.
The pedals are ok, they look a bit cheap and plasticy but feel strong underfoot. I tried the conical brake mod that comes with it but I think that just shortens the brake travel and makes it harder to trail brake, best to stick with them the way they are out the box.
Most importantly, my lap times have dropped by about 6 seconds compared with using a controller at Monza (previous best was 1:54 in a Ferrari GT3, now it is 1:48, after a month or so of playing ACC with it). Really can’t recommend enough, it has made sim racing way more fun for me and I think I’ll get years of use of it.
I waited for the T300 RS GT to be back in stock as it seemed to be the best wheel for this price range and I’m glad I did. This is my first ever wheel so I can’t really compare it to others, so as someone new to sim racing and have been using it for 2 months now it feels great to drive with. I connect it to my PC and attach it to my desk when I want to use it.
PROS:
When I clamp it to my desk it’s really sturdy and doesn’t slip.
The wheel is easy to calibrate and the pedals have a nice spring to them.
I’ve used it for the following games and haven’t had no issue with response/input.
– assetto corsa competizione
– F1 2019 and 2020
– iRacing
– Project Cars 2
CONS:
The pedals underneath have okay grip on my wooden floor, but can easily slip so either prop it against something use put it on a more slip resistant surface. I personally have my swivel chair and pedals on a rug to stop both from sliding/rolling away. I haven’t bothered with a sim racing rig due to space.
When the cooling fans get going it can give off a smell of silicone which can be annoying.
Really good set, a big step above a Logitech G27/G29 – and easily comparable to, if not better than, an old Fanatec combo from 7 or 8 years ago.
The wheel is comfortable, the button layout is logical and easy to reach (good for VR) and the shifter paddles are solid, and have a nice click.
The Force Feedback is smooth, and strong on high settings, plenty for everyone. The foot pedals are nice, if a little basic, but with a good action, and nice resistance.
I had a G27, until inherited a Fanatec set for PC, but haven’t used it in a while. I bought it this for my PS4, to race with friends online, and was surprised how good it was – so I ran the old Fanatec again to compare and it’s very similar, if not slightly less smooth, and I know it cost over 800 when new. The T300 pedals don’t quite beat the old set, but again, they would’ve been several hundred pounds on top of the wheel. When the T300 can connect to PS4 and PC so easily, and switching with ease, for this price it’s a no brainer.
For anyone upgrading from a beginner set-up, or considering spending more on a different belt-driven system, this should be near the top of your list. Unless you’re wanting hyperrealistic direct-drive feedback for a motion-sim VR rig, I would argue this is best value for money.
Works very well. Force feedback is plenty powerful. Does seem to run hot so only 4 stars — you can feel the heat coming out of the few air vents and smell it. I haven’t had it fail on extended use, but I’ve only used it for sessions up to an hour or so. I think I will mod it with extra cooling — extra air holes and possibly an additional fan.
Bought it in Feb 2020.
I was using Logitech driving force wheel. Definitely this is a huge upgrade both in how customisation this wheel is (you can set max rotation, forces, etc.) and how well FF is working with games like:
-ETS
-ATS
-Project Cars 2
– Dirt 2
– RacingRoom
etc.
Precision is great, FF great, quality superb.
Only question that probably everyone is asking, is how long this wheel will work for…
We all know that Thrustmaster has huge issues with reliability of their products, so I will make sure to update this review if ANYTHING will go wrong with it.
That is my promise to my fellow racers!.
See you at the track.
Great wheel, I shan’t bother to add any detail that you can get from other reviews.
I must draw attention to the cooling problems that these wheels have. The magnet inside the motor will – over time – start to move around the armature and this means that the unit will eventually fail after a couple of years. This is not a case of if, but when.
Anything you can do to improve the cooling should be done. The motor is mounted high up and adding a small five pound USB fan blowing upwards should help to exhaust some of that heat. Taking the lid off and replacing or adding more fans will aid cooling even more.
After spending the last year using a cheaper wheel (180) this one just takes it to another level. After only a couple of laps of the Canadian GP circuit the feeling is just so much better. For the first time I’m able to feel the limit of grip on the fast bends as well as the loss of grip when the downforce bleeds out in low speed corners. Assetto Corsa also feels so much better.
The only issue I had was not connecting the power cord well enough. It really needs a bit of force to put it in but once in it stays in.
Positives as already stated are the better feel. The level of feedback also is so much stronger to the point that I got pretty hot after a few laps.
Tested on a PS4 Pro using F1 2019, Asseto Corsa, Project Cars 2 & Nascar 3
Has been brilliant so far, feels really good, excellent with gran turismo sport, improved my times massively from controller, very smooth, and very strong if you dual up the feedback in options in GT Sport, this is simply plug and play for GT Sport, no messing around with drivers are hundreds of setting in the wheel to get it to feel right, it Just works from the box, there’s no horrible feelings of it clipping and having to dial it out, brilliant wheel.
Connecting to PC? Game not fully detecting inputs?
1) Put in PS3 Mode
2) Download & install drivers from website
3) Download & apply firmware update from website
4) Disconnect, Shut Down & Re-start
…. hope it saves you a headache!
Great seller. Very good product. Loving every minute driving with i
What a great wheel ,works brilliantly with psvr gran turino and drive club vr worth every penny it really feels like you are driving the car ,I set the level of wheel same height as on screen .
Excellent piece of kit. I bought this the day Gran Turismo Sport came back and I have not once regretted buying this.
I managed to pick this up for 264.97 which looking back is a bit if bargain. I would never go back to racing with a controller by choice.
I’ve also played on a mate’s Logitech G29 and the Thrustmaster is by far the better product. The wheel also feels great on assesto corsa on the PC.
4 stars because my mate who bought the Logitech also bought this the day after I did, from the same retailer and his had broken in 5 days. The ffb stopped working after 4 and on the 5th day the unit would not power at all. Luck of the draw with this product.
P.s. my mate who bought the g29 actually prefers the Logitech. He prefers the Logitech’s mechanical feel rather than the Thrustmaster belt system…strange guy
Bought as xmas present for lad. Not my sort of thing but his review of it is good he likes playing farm sim on it. Hes a big tall lad and it doesn’t look small with him using it. Not being my thing felt it was a bit pricey but he loves it so thumbs up.
I have been racing on the PS4 with the Logitech G29 for several months now but it just felt like it was missing something. After reading lots of reviews and looking at several videos I decided to take the plunge and get the T300RS GT. It seems to have slightly shorter USB cables than the G29 but everything else feels far superior. Firstly, you can interchange the wheel for different models just by unlocking a collar. The wheel itself feels heavy and sturdy and the buttons have a very solid feel to them, especially the paddle shifters, although the T300 has a rubber coating and the G29 has a slightly nicer feeling soft-faux-perforated leather in the hand. The base is very solid on the T300 and can be secured with a slightly awkward screw bar or, as i have done, hard-mount it to my playseat using two bolts – not supplied (but the G29 comes with 4 when it only needs 2, which was handy). After playing with the T300 for a short while it quickly became apparent that the wheel had a much heavier feel to the driving and the belt-driven force feedback is much stiffer, without the clunkiness of the gear-driven G29. Although the GT pedals in the T300 look terrible at first sight compared with the G29’s, they are actually much more accurate and are more adjustable for your preferred feel, plus they have a rubber conical insert which helps with the stiffness of the brake – while this sounds ridiculous it really makes quite a difference and my braking was more progressive with fewer lock-ups and less need to keep messing with the brake balance.
Overall, although slightly more expensive, the T300RS GT is the superior product and you really notice a difference in your lap times when you play. The G29 is still an excellent wheel though and will suit most hobby racers to a T, but for me the T300 RS GT is a much better wheel set.
Few setup problems, but once sorted the wheel and pedals have performed perfectly. Build quality seems very good. The rubber wheel covering marks quite easily though.
I have had this wheel before but I wasn’t overly impressed. After hearing they had improved this one and also included the rubber cone mod, I decided to get another one. To be honest, the cone mod aint that great but the resistance for the brake pedal does seem better than before. For me, the cone mod needs to be a bigger cone but a slightly softer material as it’s stumpy and solid so only really reduces the travel of the pedal without giving that true feeling of a brake pedal in a car.
The buttons and Dpad are really hard to see and not overly ergonomic while tearing round a racetrack in a game but overall it’s a good wheel.
Tip I found was if you can, set the clutch to the handbrake so you know you can easily press it.
Good quality and well built steering wheel. Works perfectly on the PS4.
Pedals are ok, just a shame there wasn’t a third (clutch) pedal.
However, this set up, like most other gaming wheels, really benefits from a proper stand / mount.
At just under 70, this is decent value for money. To get anything better you would be looking to fork out at least twice as much, or more than 4x as much for the Thrustmaster T500 RS Force Wheel.
This was a birthday present I bought for my 13 year old son and ever since I bought it he has never stopped using it it makes the car games for the ps4 a whole lot bette
I think for the price its a great wheel
A bit plasticky in places but for 60 notes its a steal
Works great on ps4 driveclub.project cars and need for speed
True test will be when dirt rally comes out in April
So far so good
I like i
If you are thinking of getting a wheel and can afford this, I would highly recommend. I have used it with the 3 pedal set as an upgrade addition and it is fantastic!i
Enough lock to use however slight corrections are hard on the straights due to the lack of 1080 degrees of lock. 180 degrees is still a decent amount.
The wheel is great for its compatibility with ps3 and ps4 which is a really handy feature and good value for money
Very happy with the product it works perfect for f1 2015 it could do with a headphone jack maybe something for the manufacturer to think about on a newer model one day. But apart from that it worth a buy.
Incredible quality product for the price. well built and easy to set up. Sturdy build with rubber hand grips. works excellent with project cars, just needs a quick calibration to get going. Expected a light plastic feel for its cost but was pleasantly surprised. If you don’t mind living without force feedback and just need a well for your driving games, this is the one without too much of a cost.
