I bought the ticwatch after looking at online reviews of both the galaxy watch 4 and the pixel watch. I don’t regret the decision at all.
Only gripe I have is that the strap is a bit short on my gorilla arms and it’s on the last hole.

I was surprised how light this watch feels on my wrist and a battery life of 3 days on first charge.

    Fantastic watch for the price

Great watch, the first that actually runs wear os well and I’ve tried several including the Galaxy Watch 5.

Battery lasts 2 days easily even when using it for workouts and sleeping.

I bought this watch thinking that I’d use the dual display to extend battery life but prefer the always on display and switch to essential mode automatically overnight when I’m not using the watch. I get about 3 days battery life which is better than expected using Google Wear. I mainly use the watch to record my steps and heart rate using Google Fit and Google Pay is very useful. I have a few 22mm watch straps which help to personlise the watch along with the large range of watch faces available. I’m looking forward to the Google Wear 3.0 upgrade which will hopefully improve an already good watch.

I purchased the smartwatch recently and I was impressed as soon as I opened the box. It’s a very stylish and sturdy device. The build quality is absolutely brilliant. Once you’ve put it on the weight is perfect. The setting up is as easy as it can get and it guides you through the whole process. The Mobvoi app is a very smart application which not only helps you set up the watch but continues as a very useful companion app. The battery life is brilliant. I was flying to San Francisco and the battery was running low so I turned the essential feature on and the watch continued to run throughout my journey. Without essential mode and with certain trackers turned on I can easily use the watch for 3-4 days from a single charge. The tracking apps are brilliant including the heart rate and the sleep detection as well as stress levels. I am throughly impressed with this watch and would highly recommend i

I had not heard of Mobvoi before but after doing some research and looking at other reviews I decided to purchase their Pro 3 ULTRA GPS smartwatch and I’m glad that i did. This is a stylish looking watch and comes with all the apps that you will need to get going pre installed and you can also easily download other apps onto this watch. The fitness tracking app tracks my gym sessions well and there are lots of different types of exercises that you can pick to track. I haven’t used it yet to track my sleep patterns but this is something that I will try in the future. The standard strap is very comfortable with plenty of adjustment. I get 3 days of life from one battery charge with general usage. Overall I would recommend giving this smart watch a try.

Had my Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra watch for 3 weeks now and really enjoying it. I’ve turned off some of the battery saving functions so probably get a couple of days out of it. All Wear OS functions seem to work as expected. Had a few issues setting Google Pay but sorted it eventually by deleting and reinstalling the App. Will be good to get Wear OS 3 when it’s available as some apps such as Strava aren’t available on Wear OS 2 although you can still automatically upload activities from TicExercise to Strava. Only slightly disappointing issue is that the GPS doesn’t seem particular accurate. It seems to over measure distance by about 8%. It’s not a massive issue for me but would be for serious athletes.

I decided to upgrade my Ticwatch C2 to a watch that had a better battery life as the C2 was lucky to last a day. After doing some research, I opted for the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS and I have not been disappointed!
I was already familiar with Ticwatch apps etc so it made it even easier to get it up and running.
The charger is easy to connect, the watchface is a very nice size and the battery lie is excellent. It is only down to around 70-80 % after a full days use.
Excellent watch that I would highly recommend.

Owning both the TicWatch 2020 Pro the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G/LTE the Ultra features:
    – Improved battery life.
    – Improved charger design and stronger magnetic connection.
    – Improved essential mode with backlight.
    – Sleep tracking.
    – More responsive with the new processor.
    – Speaker is loud and clear on calls.
    – Lighter and slimmer than the older Pro 2020 variant.
    – New 2-pin charger design.

Good battery life after the first couple of days; there’s were several software updates for my device.

    Other positive things to note:
    – This watch is 1 of 2 watches from the last generation that was announced to get Wear OS 3 (in the future).
Impressive build quality; whilst remaining lightweight.
    – The black bezel features numbers etched in 5-minute intervals.
    – Retains a slight inward bezel on screen.
    – The included strap is a 22mm quick-release band, made of a Hybrid Leather and Rubber combination.

The UI is responsive and applications open quickly. There is a great selection of many watch faces pre-installed and more can be download from the Play Store; Solaris watch face looks really nice on this screen.

The TicHealth application has improved significantly over the last couple of years.

I was very impressed unboxing this beautiful gadget. It does exactly what is said in the description. Battery life is excellent, even better than most of expensive smart watches. Very comfortable on the wrist. I will buy again and recommend it to buyers who are confused with other brands. I couldn’t be more happier than this purchase.

    I’ll keep this simple.
    – watch looks great
    – Strap is comfy, but is stiff straight out of the box, it softens with wear but not to the point of losing confidence in it.
    – Functionality is great, but there is alot of repeat functionality and alot of stuff you won’t use. Taking time to learn shortcuts and reorganising the app menu is time well spent. WearOS is not as intuitive as apples watch OS.
    – sporting functionality is good. GPS has let me down a couple of time, but I think this is a connection issue with my phone where the both of them fight it out to provide the signal then give up, so bluetooth off when logging routes next time maybe. Without the phone it works great, but I’m sure theres something I’m missing.
    – Heart rate counter is pretty decent and gets better the more you use it, few initial wears were way off.
    – Step tracking seems a tad high, possibly +5%. compared with same trips taken with my wife on her apple watch.
    – Battery in normal use is two days for me with bluetooth connected.
    – best feature is the low energy display and backlight.
    – Aslong as bluetooth is connected, taking calls on you watch is a doddle.

Would I recommend this watch: YES
Would I offer any advice: YES – take your time to sit down with the watch and learn the menu intricacies. Some of the menu functions aren’t quite as easy to get to or require a certain route to get to them, but once you’re there, its great.

Battery life is good, I get 2 days of continuous use, day and night. Turn the stress attacker on however, and you will get just over a day. That drains battery greatly.

The sleep tracking is not great. Which is a big disappointment of mine as I am really interested in sleep, especially since I train and I’ve been wanting to know my sleep patterns and metrics etc for a long while now. Mobvoi alerts you of ‘when you slept’ soon after rising and beginning to move in the morning. It says ‘it looks like you slept from X to X, is this correct?’ then you can click to open and view the information.

1, this info isn’t always accurate. Example, I go to bed at 11, it often shows the slept from time at 10:38-10:50 (maybe it thinks I am about to sleep when sat watching TV and my heart rate has fallen low etc, I am unsure)

2, There is no way to actually edit this if it’s incorrect.

This can be really frustrating, if, like me, you’re really interested in your sleep metrics for recovery. But maybe I am expecting sleep hospital level data, with brainwave patterns and activity from a smartwatch.

The watchface selection is good. But it would be a really nice feature if you could configure one yourself. As in, rearrange a clock view you like and be able to add in the different little quick view metrics like steps, heart rate, date, weather, activity levels etc. That would be a real nice touch, as each face has a slightly different metrics quick view. And you find a face you like with a metric you use and monitor a lot, missing from that particular face.

It does glitch from time to time. I have had to restart twice since I’ve had it due to unresponsive interface.

One big thing is the fact it doesn’t support OS3. It currently runs on 2.38. Not sure why there is no update, I can only assume Mobvoi’s pockets were not deep enough for Google demands for OS3. Considering it supports the latest Snapdragon Qualcomm 4100 platform, one of very few smartwatches to do so, it’s even more baffling it’s not on Wear OS 3 yet.

Overall it’s a great watch for the price, considering Samsung and Apple come in at 2-3 times the price. I’m mostly happy with it, with only a few bug bears and annoyances but nothing that can’t be fixed with updates, should Mobvoi listen to its users and implement changes to their gripes.

Great overall watch. Needs Wear OS3 update though.

I got this watch after having the Garmin vivoactive 4 and I see this ticwatch as a huge improvement in terms of technology. The screen is really nice to look at with vivid colours, the watch itself is very snappy and feels like it has plenty of RAM so it’s not sluggish etc. To finalise my thoughts I would say I’m super happy.

Battery life: The first true 2 day battery life wearOS watch. I’m upgrading from the TicWatch Pro 2020 and it’s great to have the flexibility of the extended battery life when I have to spend more time away from the charger.

Performance: the new SoC provides unmatched performance. Where there were stutters and hangups on my old watch are smooth as butter. The 8gb of storage is great for storing playlists offline with Spotify or YouTube music.

Essential mode/2nd screen: the 2nd screen is fantastic. I have tilt to wake turned on but can still see the time and date at a glance and the date is now in the correct format for UK customers. The battery life in essential mode is great too, I haven’t used it intensely but I can believe the quotation of 30+ days on a charge.

Software: while wearOS is good, there are still some flaws and bugs here and there. There’s nothing mobvoi can do to correct this – we just have to hope wearOS 3.0 will patch these and that the update comes soon.

Overall: a great all around watch for anyone who must have the most premium wearOS experience, with a feature set to match the price tag. I would wholeheartedly recommend this watch, on the condition that it is still pending an update to wearOS 3.

    Best battery life on wearOS

Overall thoughts: I’m totally satisfied with the watch. The battery life is somewhere between 2-3 days with 24h pulse-, spo2- and sleep monitoring turned on, the displays look nice, the strap is comfortable, the system speed is good, it does its job excellently. Google pay works too with Revolut, which is really comfortable to use.

Formerly I had the first gen TicWatch Pro, which had the hybrid leather-silicone straps, I preferred that a bit better, but this one is fine too, I like the little notch on the strap loop which fits in the hole on the strap and secures the loop. Compared to the first gen, the speed is increased significantly: entering the menu doesn’t takes 3-5 seconds anymore, there are no lags or glitches at all, I am very pleased with this. I also love that this watch is now indeed water resistant, the first one had a note that I shouldn’t swim in it.

After the first gen TicWatch Pro I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm, which was also beaten by this watch. It had only 0.5-1 day battery life, this has 2-3 days. I prefer the wear os much better than the tizen os, it’s more extendable, customizable and with this hardware it works on similar speed too. Additionally the wear os doesn’t require a Samsung phone to have all features, it works with any android phones. The Samsung also had a full silicone strap, which got torn after a year or two, I hope this won’t. I will miss the rotating bezel and the wireless charging station which also was a stand for the watch, but the magnetic charger cable works also fine and it’s not needed that often.

There is only a few minor inconveniences, like the energy efficient LCD’s backlight cannot be turned off for the night and when it turns on when I sleep, it sometimes disturbs my fiance. I also miss the rotating bezel from the Samsung watch, but the wear os gestures are easy to use, so I got used to it quickly. The wireless charging would be nice in a later model, but considering the charging time and regularity of this watch, the wired charging is totally acceptable. I love this watch and would recommend it anytime.

    Best on the marke

I have used Ticwatch since their first iteration, I was amazed by that, as I am now amazed by the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. It has come a long way indeed, this is a truly mature watch, with an updated processor and plenty of memory – the response to touch or commands are smooth and instant. I love the new bezel, which is delicately etched, while very smooth to the touch.

The strap on this watch is lovely, soft and comfortable, and it has caused no itches in even the hottest weather.

While I do not regularly used the sleep function, I have tried it, and it works perfectly, and seems to be very accurate.

Battery life is good, in normal use I get at least three days between charges, this of course can be greatly extended by using the essential mode if required.

The watch works well for making and taking calls, the microphone and speaker are more than adequate for this purpose.

After a month’s usage I have yet to find any problems with this watch, all the apps, both default and the ones that I have installed, work perfectly. My only, very small, niggle is that the vibration notifications could be a bit stronger. I must add that I love the voice memo feature!

All in all, this is a great watch, stylish, comfortable, and accurate. I do look forward to the upcoming wear 3 update, but that said, wear 2 works seamlessly on the watch. Well done Mobvoi!

Last year I bought the Ticwatch E3 — Mobvoi’s entry level mode, it is a very well priced Android WearOS smartwatch and overall good value. I recently spotted the release of this Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra (and spotted the discount price on amazon) so thought I’d upgrade. I’m really glad I did.

The Pro3 ultra has a thinner profile and sits very tight to your wrist. To the point that it doesn’t look like a smartwatch hiding a chunky battery. However, the best feature in my opinion is the dual-layer display and the slick integration with their ‘essentials mode’ for low-power use and giving a longer battery life. This makes a big difference in the charging cycles for the smartwatch — I’m consistently getting 3 days of use between charges (including light exercise use). The display is always on showing the ‘essentials mode’ low power screen; then if I flick my wrist or touch the screen I get the nice bright and full colour display.

The other benefit of my upgrading from the E3 has been the health monitoring sensors. While these were on the E3, they were not 24/7 (i guess for battery reasons) but the Pro 3 ultra runs them round the clock and the values seem to be reliable. Again like the E3, this watch works with the Mobvoi health monitoring app on my android phone, providing really detailed access to my sleep data (REM, light and deep sleep) and bloody oxygen measurements.

finally the onboard GPS sensor –this works well, no issues with the signal and the tracking looks smooth as you would expect from your smartphone. Hand if you are running and don’t want to carry your phone. This will drain the battery a little quicker, but that is to be expected.

I ordered the bluetooth version which only came with the rubber straps (which are fine) but I really liked the look of the brown leather ones on the 4G/LTE version –so I just ordered a set of brown leather straps (22mm) and swapped them out easy.

Really nice watch, and at the time of writing this review it is still sitting at the discounted price which is very good value for what you get. This device will also get the new update to WearOS 3.0 later this year which should bring some nice new features and functionality.

I previously had the Tic Watch E3 which I was very happy with but thought I’d give this a go mainly for the extended battery life. I’ve been seriously impressed. I can get 3-4 days of decent use before charging. The second always on screen is a great idea and works extremely well. I was a little dubious of the size but it sits very comfortably on the wrist and is very lightweight. The processor is quick enough to cope with all the features of Wear OS and I have found the the ticwatch fitness software to be very accurate and responsive. Being able to change the function of the 2 buttons is also a great help. I use the top button to open my apps list and have the bottom trigger spotify and gpay with a double tap. Overall, extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend as a reasonably priced watch with features to match much more expensive devices.

    Wow, just wow !

    Why do I like it?
    – because in the ‘Smartwatches Family’ this watch comes with the ‘Dual screen display’ feature that makes the battery last longer. And because it works with my non-Samsung phone better than the Samsung Gear watch (Samsung turned off some features when Samsung Gear is not used with a Samsung Phone).
-because this is a watch for both casual and fitness use (many choices available for watch faces). As far I’m concerned, I have bought it because it helps me a lot at work (as a Personal Assistant) because I am asked to keep my phone on silent while with a client and it may feel inappropriate to keep on checking my phone every minute for important (job related) messages or missed calls, so I can monitor my phones notifications on my watch. Also, it comes handy when I need to set a reminder or alarm /timer using the built-in Google assistant or Alexa** (that can be installed from Google Play Store and paid for a one-time small fee to unlock the premium Alexa). I can use voice memo as well (recording on the watch and transferring the file to the phone, after synchronizing, where it can be played).
**Google assistant on TicWatch can set reminders on the connected Google account, but, due to a Google Wear software bug unrelated to Mobvoi/TicWatch, I suppose, reminders are never displayed on the watch (but on the phone and all other smart devices) so Alexa adds a plus of functionality. In all other aspects, Google Assistant on the watch works fine with voice commands (examples of what I use: switching on/off smart devices, translating words, spelling, searching for answers on the internet and others).
With my job, it’s important to monitor the SpO2 levels, because I am still required by my P&P to wear a mask and sometimes I ‘forget’ to breathe deeply, as it happened in the past when my levels dropped under 95%. The SpO2 sensor is really useful.
    Other uses:
With a 3rd party app like Stocard I store my fidelity cards or tickets (QR or bar codes) and I can use them fast when needed, for example before paying with GPay (NFC) from my watch. For this use, I noticed that one can pay with the watch even if the phone is not connected to the watch (I forgot it in the car). Need to mention it is said that the watch needs synchronizing with the phone every now and then to add more tokens to be used for future payments (while connected on bluetooth).
    Other features that I tested:
    – Multiple choice watch faces, found on Mobvoi app or Google Play Store
    – Fast processor, responsive.
    – Posh look and the interchangeable strap size is 22mm so it can be easily swapped for a leather one if you would like to use the watch as an accessory for your smart clothes and not for fitness. In the actual TicWatch version, the previous posh silicon strap looking like a leather one has been replaced by a sturdy look like fluora rubber. For whoever may want to swap it with a real leather strap (size 22mm), this is possible, like I did.
Thinner watch than TicWatch Pro 3 GPS by 1mm. Lighter than that by 0.2 g
Good 577mAh battery. With moderate use of display, sleep function use, O2, hearth 24/7, in smart mode the battery lasts 48-58 hrs. Some people claimed that it could last up to 72 hours (depending on how many active sensors, display’s brightness, and display’s waking up frequency).
(Retina LTPO OLED display should adapt to what the user is doing in terms of power consumption and variability of the refresh rate which is done dynamically to save battery.)
One could argue that the older version TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is as good as this version at a better price, however there are some improvements like:
    – Improved durability compared to the older brother TicWatch Pro 3 GPS as this watch’s case has been upgraded from metal and plastic to metal and high-strength nylon with fiberglass
    – both have been certified IP68 Waterproof and Swim Suitable however, the present version has been tested and achieved Military Standard 810G
    – Additionally, the Ultra’s LCD’s backlight has been given the option to be changed to a variety of colours to choose from the ‘Essentials’ menu (for saving the battery, though, there is an option to be set to ‘default’ white).
    – SpO2, Heart rate and heart rate variability HRV sensors can be set to 24/7, useful for monitoring one’s sleep and if you want more data than TicSleep app provides, 3rd party sleep monitor applications can be used successfully (I use ‘Sleep as Android’ paid version because I got addicted to this app and because it has a smart wake-up/alarm feature).
    – As previous versions: good speaker, crystal clear sound when used for calls or with the Smart assistants as described above.
Spotify watch app has been added extra functionality, it can play sound on the watch itself, but sometimes switching to listening on the watch it’s a temperamental thing so I recommend using the watch as a remote control for Spotify playing sound on laptop, phone (with Bluetooth earbuds connected to phone) or Google Smart Display. Hopefully Spotify will improve this feature as TicWatch cannot be blamed for 3rd party applications.
I would like to mention that I don’t have too much spare time for fitness but I noticed the automated fitness tracker TicExercise started in two instances for me: (fast) walking and treadmill (indoor run); so with my limited exercising time I did not use many workout programs, but it is stated to have more than 100+ workout modes of which I noticed some ‘interesting’ ones: Tai-Chi and Yoga that I’m going to use soon .
Overall, I am impressed with this watch and I like the previous versions as well (Ticwatch E3 – budget price – and Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS because they run with the same memory RAM: 1GB / ROM: 8GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Mobvoi dual processor system), only this got better.

Stylish Smartwatch for Both Casual and Fitness use

Let’s talk about the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS Smartwatch.

I’ve owned a TicWatch before, and the new one surprised me in a lot of different ways:

    Positive points:

    – Baterry life: I don’t know how the did it, but my watch needs recharge after 3 days only. The watch has a programmable Essential Mode with start time and end time which you can use to suit you bed time, and the best thing is, on essential mode the watch keep track of your sleep quality too. That saves a lot of battery just on its own.

    – Speed and Smoothness: this watch is super smooth, you don’t see any delays on clicking or swiping screens, I reckon this is due to the new processor. The plataform is great and the Tic Apps are as good as they ever been.

Stunning: the watch is even more stunning the the previous version. The screen is bright and the back ground light on essential mode is a great add.

    Negative Point:

The wristband is good, but I liked the old one better(Leather + Rubber) good news is, you can still buy them on their webshop.

Overall is the best WearOS you can buy on the market in my Opnion, if you are thinking about buying it, I would recommend you to have a go, I’m sure you won’t regret.

    Best Smartwatch I've ever owned

I’ve been using the Fitbit Sense for the last 6 months. There are very little apps and it feels quite restrictive. Enter the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra! The chipset is excellent. Really fast and fluid. Scrolling through menus is really fast and there’s no stuttering or lag.

I used to have the Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 and I was lucky if I was getting 2 days out of the battery. I’m getting 3 days with the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra in full smartwatch mode. Plus if the battery drops down really low it goes into essential mode and you still get the time, date, heart rate and your steps and it last for ages in essential mode. That’s because you have dual screens. The full AMOLED display is excellent. Full of colour and fluid (thanks to the Snapdragon 4100 chipset) and the LCD screen which acts like a kind of lockscreen and looks a bit like an old school watch screen. It uses less battery but still gives you all the info you need at a glance. There’s also the addition of a different coloured background on the LCD screen which is cool. Makes it look more funky. I’ve charged the watch tonight from 15% to 98% which took less than an hour. Not outrageous by any stretch of the imagination.

The watch is really comfortable to wear. The 22mm band is fluoro rubber. It’s weird! It feels really soft but is tough at the same time. The watch looks great. I like the lines that have been cut into the bezel on this model. It has a more classic look which suits me as I work in an office so it looks a bit more professional. It’s a 1.4″ screen so big enough to see most things including pictures sent via messages on WhatsApp etc.

Mobvoi have pre-installed a series of apps which are called TicZen, TicSleep, TicExercise, TicBreathe, TicHealth etc. These are excellent. I’ve actually found myself using these instead of Google Fit and other Google apps, although I love having Google Pay on my phone! It works really well with this chipset and Google Pay is one of the few payment systems to have my bank on it.

There’s also a voicememo app built into the watch which is really cool. Works well and the quality is excellent.

This is one of only a few watched to have the Snapdragon 4100 chipset which will get the Google WearOS 3 upgrade. You look at what you are paying for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and how much this watch is and there’s no comparison.

You can also make and receive calls direct from the watch. You can also use Google assistant via the mic/speaker which is brilliant. I use this all the time. My 9 year old asks questions constantly! You can respond to text messages and view messages and photos sent via messages directly on the watch.

All in all I’m very impressed with this watch and would definitely recommend it. For the money you won’t get a more feature packed watch that’s WearOS 3 proof!

    Great WearOS Watch

I own a TicWatch Pro 3 GPS for more than a year and I decided to upgrade to the newer version in anticipation of the new Wear OS 3.0. TicWatch Pro 3 GPS Ultra continues the legacy of TicWatch Pro 3 GPS and is probably one of the best options for Android/Wear OS users.

    – Design and Comfort
The watch has a very similar design as its predecessor. However, the outside ring looks thinner in TicWatch Pro 3 GPS Ultra which is a nice change. The strap is a standard 22mm strap made of soft plastic. While I wear it during exercising, I noticed it does not keep any dirt or sweat and remains clean. Overall, the design is very comfortable even when I wear it the whole day, including during the night.

    – Hardware
The watch has the same processor as its predecessor, which is not a bad choice at all. Snapdragon 4100 is great for Wear OS. The watch is very responsive, and I did not have any issue navigating through various applications.

One of the great features of TicWatch Pro 3 GPS Ultra is the dual displays. The LCD screen shows basic information, like time, steps, date etc. Through the OLED display you can access all the smartwatch functionalities. This dual display setup is what makes TicWatch Pro 3 GPS Ultra having a great battery performance. I was able to go 3 days with a full charge while tracking various exercises every day. You can set Always On display which will disable the LCD display, but as expected this will impact the battery life.

    – Wear OS and Apps
You can load Wear OS apps as normal, including changing watch faces etc. The Mobvoi applications which are coming pre-installed are a great addition. I normally use TicExercise to track my gym sessions and it syncs flawlessly with the mobile App. The TicSleep app offers a great view of you sleep quality.

The watch can track your oxygen level 24/7 or take ad-hoc measurements via the TicOxygen app.

A great addition in TicWatch Pro 3 GPS Ultra is that you can monitor your 24h physical and mental status.

    – Verdict
I am very happy with this TicWatch upgrade, and I think that this may be the best option for Android users.

A great upgrade from TicWatch Pro 3 GPS

I bought this watch as a replacement for my lost Ticwatch Pro 3, which I absolutely loved.

I went to buy an exact replacement, since I was more than happy with the Pro 3, but noticed that for a similar price there is now an Ultra option, so I went with that.

The watch arrived on time from Amazon, protected by a one time passcode which was required for delivery. As is usual with Mobvoi, it came in a nice box, along with the charger cable.

This new model retains all the great features of the previous one (duel display for long battery life, modern chipset, promised upgrade to WearOS 3 this year), and adds some new nice-to-haves for 2022.

Firstly, after having used it for a week or so, the already impressive battery life seems even better – i usually have 85-90% left at the end of a day, with moderate usage (reading tons of notifications etc), whereas the older Pro 3 model seemed to end up more like 70-75%.

This might be because apparently there is a new custom Mobvoi secondary processor which handles some of the I/O.

The strap is more comfortable than the previous one too, the old one tended to retain moisture after a shower, but the new one seems to dry more quickly.

One new feature (which seems trivial, but I like it) is that we can now change the backlight colour on the LCD secondary display backlight, although the setting for this is hidden under the essential mode setting, so could be made easier to find.

It also seems to wake up almost instantly from LCD mode to smart screen mode – the previous model had a slight but annoying delay.

I believe the new model is also more highly rated against physical stress, although I cannot really comment on that, since none of my previous Ticwatches have ever suffered any damage.

As per last time, this watch still has a load of Mobvoi apps that duplicate the functionality of Google Fit, but again, I can just ignore them, and they stay out of my way. At least they are all called TicSomething so unlike Samsung’s pointless duplicate apps on their phones, there is no danger of getting them confused with Google’s offerings.

If I had to complain about something, it would be that this model still doesn’t support Qi charging. If this was added, I wouldn’t have to carry the custom charging cable around with me, and I wouldn’t have to worry about losing it.

Overall, I am very happy with this watch – if I lost this one, I would certainly be replacing it with exactly the same model again.

Incremental improvements to an already near-perfect smartwatch.

The interface is buttery smooth, the design is spot on for my taste and the battery lasts 3+ days with moderate to heavy use.

Dual screen FSTN + AMOLED is what every watch should have. All the essential you need, like date and time are there at a glance on the always on FSTN display (uses a lot less power) and the rest of the “heavy stuff” is handled by the gorgeous AMOLED display. The FSTN also lights up when you tilt the watch so there is no need to “wake up” the AMOLED display if you only need to check the time/date in dark environments. You have the option to change the backlight colour (18 to choose from) for the FSTN display. I keep mine on the default white but change it to green sometimes because I find the black text on green background interesting.

It has over 100 different exercise tracking options but only 3 have auto-detect — walking, running and cycling. I enabled auto-detect for walking and running which, I find quite accurate at knowing when I had started and stopped. Did not have a chance to test swimming tracking but I will soon.

Sleep tracking can detect REM, deep sleep, light sleep and awake. You have the option to enable continuous heart rate and SpO2 monitoring. The Pro 3 Ultra also has AFib alert and Tachycardia / Bradycardia alert.

One important thing I love about Tic apps (pulse, SpO2, sleep, exercise…) is the option to check all the logged data straight on the watch in detail.

The performance has been wonderful thanks to the Snapdragon Wear 4100 and 1GB of RAM. I have not had any hiccups or interface stutter regardless of using 3rd party apps or built-in ones. The specs will also help when the watch will receive Wear OS 3.0 later this year. If not having Wear OS 3.0 yet is a deal-breaker for you, it should not. Some of the apps that were only on Wear OS 3.0 have made it to Wear OS 2.0 anyway .

Build quality is another important aspect to mention. The watch looks and feels like the premium watch that it is. The MIL-STD-810G durability standard plus IP68 rating will help it keep that for a long time.

I am struggling to find a fault with this watch and the only thing I would probably change is a stronger vibration motor but that is only to help if you wear your watch not snug enough.

This is not my first Mobvoi watch, and I am absolutely convinced it is not going to be my last.

The latest iteration of the Ticwatch pro is far and away the best WearOS watch currently on the market. The design has been refined and it looks less chunky on the wrist than the previous versions which was pretty much my only complaint of the watch. Dont get me wrong it’s still quite big but then this means it has a large and clear screen. It is feature packed with all the functions you would expect of a premium watch and the added value of Ticwatches own app suite. The icing on the cake is the 2 layer screen which helps conserve battery and ensures you never have a brick strapped to your wrist as can happen with some other watches that run out of battery half way through the day. This Ticwatch will last up to the specified 3 days on one charge with all features switched on. A very impressive device. I recommend.

I’m a fan of Mobvoi watches and have enthusiastically introduced friends and family to their products. I was naturally excited to acquire this new product which promised to continue in the same vein as their other products: feature packed, fast, robust and affordable.

In short, this watch did not disappoint on those fronts. As their flaghsip watch I had high expectations, my daily watch is the older Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS, and was intrigued to see how this measured up.

My first impression was how vibrant the colours from the AMOLED screen were and how snappy and responsive the watch was. Mobvoi have installed the snapdragon wear 4100 chipset with dual processors and is a real powerhouse when using the watch for exercise and navigation.

The TicExercise software remains excellent with user-friendly interface and synchronisation to the mobvoi app with a good array of analytics to track your workouts. The watch is able to auto-detect when you start and stop exercise and determine the type of exercise too fairly accurately which is an elegant touch although personally a feature I could take or leave.

I particularly enjoy the sleep tracking feature which is fascinating. I regularly have issues with my sleep and being able to analyse different periods of sleep e.g. REM and awake times has been intriguing and insightful. I am unsure yet how this will help me sleep better but its intriguing nonetheless!

Battery is decent with moderate use lasting around 3 days. Mobvoi claim ludicrously long battery life on essential mode but I don’t envisage this being used much in essential mode because you will want to use the watch to its full powerful potential daily!

The watch has an accurate heart rate and Sp02 sensor which is helpful in tracking cardiovascular fitness/goals

I would recommend this watch to someone who wants a sturdy and powerful companion particularly if they like to track their exercise goals as an affordable alternative to more expensive models such as Samsung and Apple.

Solid yet refined with a beautiful scree

Really like the size of the watch. Perfect for a large mans wrist like mine. Build quality is the best I’ve had in a watch for a long time.

Lasts 72 hours without charging on general usage which again is really long for a watch with so much functionality.

The ability to download Spotify songs to the watch itself is great for me as a runner who doesn’t like to take a phone.

Packed with functionality, great watch. Highly recommended.

Great watch, long battery life, perfect size, spotify integration!

I decided to upgrade my Ticwatch Pro 3 to the Pro 3 zz `Ultra GPS. One might say that there isn’t much difference between two and why upgrade. Looking into it there is more about the Ultra than you may think.

While they are similar looking the Ultra has small details which in my opinion make it look and feel more premium. The bezel is knurled along with the buttons which add a nice bit of texture. The bezel doesn’t have such big protrusions top and bottom and is more defined as round than the Pro 3 which I prefer.
This design carries over to the strap which is much better than the one on the Pro 3 which lost its surface over time. It also looks more contemporary than the Pro 3 which looks more like a classic strap copy.
The whole thing feels more refined.
One thing that stands out for me is the ability to have different coloured screens in essential mode. It is inevitable that you will use essential mode and having a screen colour to match the watch face you are using just gives a sense of coherence which I like, and it pops more on the wrist.

MIL-STD-810G spec rating is added on The Pro 3 Ultra which means to me that it is more durable than the Pro 3 and that can only be a good thing. Along with a Gorilla glass screen no worries about knocks and bangs!

The Pro 3 Ultra comes with “24 physical and mental status monitoring” under TicHealth which I have yet to have a play with but in this day and age of mental health wellbeing, anything that can give insights is a plus.
TicPulse has been updated to monitor heart health. Have not had any alerts since wearing it but the watch is looking out for you, and I like that!

Battery life is 72 hours as stated in smart mode. I normally charge overnight so this is roughly 2 a week. More than good enough and if I can’t charge there is always essential mode.

Other than what I have mentioned it comes with the usual suite of apps you will find on a Wear OS device plus the excellent “Tic” apps which I prefer to use over the Google Fit apps. They seem easier to use and better tuned to the watch in my opinion.

Ticwatch seem to have struck a nice balance between price, features and fit & finish. All in all, I think it is a worthy upgrade even if on the face if it the changes are minimal.

The same but better than the Pro 3

The Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS is a great looking android wear smartwatch with the best battery in its class. The watch looks great, is well built and feels good on the wrist and is very comfortable. The battery on this watch gives me nearly 3 days before it needed charging, so no daily trip to the charger needed.
The screen is excellent and has a nice bezel. It also has a second LCD screen so instead of your watch going to a black screen to save power, like other smartwatches, this watch activates the LCD screen which stays on and provides time, steps, battery life, and heartrate. It also has a backlight function to help when it’s darker. According to the manufacturer it can last up to 45 days when using this mode.
The watch runs Android Wear OS 2 and is compatible with all the apps including whatsapp, google pay, and google fit. Whilst using this over the past week there has been zero lag with menus and apps quick and fluid to use.
You can make and receive calls through the watch if paired with your phone due to it’s built-in microphone and speaker. I found the calls easy to hear and had no problems with the other person hearing me.
Overall one of the best Wear OS watches and with regard to battery life it has no competition.

So this is the first review I have put time and effort into, as I think this is something that everyone is who looking into this watch needs to know! What a watch! Everything just works, exactly how it should with no issues!

I bought this Ticwatch as an upgrade from my last Ticwatch – Wanted to stay within the Mobvoi product range due to my experience with previous watches. And I am so glad I didn’t move to another brand.

So, from the beginning. The Ticwatch arrived, nicely packaged and secure. Inside the box I received the TicWatch, USB charger and manual along with a quick start guide. The watch turned up with 89% battery, more than enough to get started!

Powered the watch on and was greeted with the Google WearOS setup page, followed the simple instructions and continued the rest of the setup on my phone. Added my Google Account, Mobvoi App (optional, but increases the usability of the fitness tracking) and for me, the most important part, my Google Pay account.

Went through the settings on the watch and customised to my liking. I ensured that the lift to wake and always on settings were disabled for optimal “smart watch” battery life – And this works perfectly. I have managed to get almost 3 and a half working days out of the watch before it automatically went into “essential mode”. Speaking of essential mode it works flawlessly ensuring the basic functions of a watch are available when the battery is low. The marketing material says that this iteration of Ticwatch will last 45 days in Essential Mode and while I haven’t tried this I do not doubt this at all.

The performance this Ticwatch is something I have never experienced before. No lagging, no slowness no freezing. It’s responsive at a moments notice and that has been greatly improved since my first Ticwatch. Scrolling through the app drawer and the options is just simply pleasant and responsive. The GPS is spot on and worked without issues during a walk out with the family. No drifting experienced.

The fitness tracking is something that I only started becoming interested in over the last few months and I am so glad Mobvoi have spent time developing their own feature set as I am not only able to monitor and track my heart rate 24/7, but also track my own mental fatigue and energy levels. Something which really stands out in my face paced job. There is a way to link the proproaty apps with Google’s version of Apps too, but I do prefer TicHealth and TicPulse. Google Pay and offline Spotify have been perfect too. The ability to be able to leave home to pop to the shops with nothing other than my watch is amazing. First transaction failed but the TicWatch asked me to confirm my watch= PIN (security feature, makes sense) but then has worked seamlessly since and being an avid music fan having Spotify available on my wrist without any effort has been epic. Simple things like answering calls on my Ticwatch have been

The only one downfall, literally, the only ONE is that I would have like to have purchased the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G version however it’s tied to Vodafone OneNumber and my preferred network is EE. If there were more options available on that side I would have upgraded to the 4G version without doubt.

Overall, the best Smartwatch I have ever purchased. I do wonder how Mobvoi will bring a new model out as this watch genuinely ticks all the boxes I have ever needed.

    What a Watch!

This is to replace my three year old Ticwatch pro.

The battery easily lasts 2 to three days depending on use and charging is very quick. The backlight for essential node is brilliant.

The menu is simple to use and the buttons have a nice positive click.
I’ve used Google pay, sleep tracking and cycling exercise mode and all are accurate and responsive.

Initially I didn’t like the strap compared to the original which seems better quality but after a week I find the new strap more comfortable when exercising.

The partnering app is useful and informative too

First time user of TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra and I never regret buying it, so many features to suit lifestyle. It quickly connects with eSIM and easy to make call. [Review Caveat: I have not rated sleep tracking as I do not sleep with the watch on.]
[Picture shows LEFT Ticwatch Pro (2018) beside RIGHT Ticwatch Pro 3 (2021) Reviewed Product]
I have been a fan of wearable computing since my first smartwatch purchase 8 years ago. Surfacing information and interaction from a mobile phone without needing to draw it is incredibly useful in a busy life. My previous watch was the Ticwatch Pro and the new refresh of the Ticwatch 3 Pro exceeded my expectations in every way.
The standout feature of the Ticwatch line is the secondary screen. The primary 1.4″ 455×455 AMOLED turns off and a more energy efficient LCD display comes online to show time, date and step count and battery level while reducing power consumption. This is what allows it to boast its impressive 45 day battery life. When you aren’t actively using it, or just want to quickly check the time, the watch is draining minimal charge on its low power screen. The Ticwatch 3’s Snapdragon processor has a great deal of processing power so the watch is incredibly responsive. It spins up to the full power screen at a touch and all of the menus are snappy and fluid to navigate (as demonstrated in videos featured in other reviews on this page). The Ultra model does not support its own 4G connection and requires a blutooth link to a smartphone for handling telephony, though it can connect to WiFi networks.
Contrasting the watch against its predecessor reveals a great number of improvements, the reduced bevel size makes the watch feel less bulky when worn under a shirt cuff. The secondary screen has been greatly enhanced allowing the date to be presented in US or UK format. My personal favourite feature is the full colour backlight allowing the low power screen to be clearly visible even in broad daylight, something which the original Ticwatch struggled with.
The Android Wear feature set is broad and covers a wide range of vital interactions, voice assistant, calendar, timing, etc. These core functions are enhanced by Mobvoi’s suite of TicHealth applications which make great use of the biometric sensors built into the watch. Heartrate, blood oxygen, physical movement and barometer are all sampled to allow the watch to review and offer critique of your workout on the wrist. These sensors are all gated by privacy settings and can be turned off at will if one does not wish to be monitored at all times.
At present the watch runs Wear2.0 while 3.0 is exclusively distributed to another manufacturer, but in time the upgrade will be issued for the Ticwatch and I am confident that the powerhouse Snapdragon will be able to handle the increased functionality.
I have been using the watch since its delivery and the power claim is holding true, it will need its first full recharge tonight having provided 3 days of me using it excessively while experimenting with all its features. I am confident that it will manage a full workweek once I calm down and stop fidgeting with it every few seconds.
In conclusion, the Ticwatch 3 is a powerful and featureful portable terminal with fantastic uptime and a well supported software ecosystem. I do not have the luxury of comparing it against competitors but I have no regrets with my purchase at all and have reaffirmed my conviction that Mobvoi are my first brand to check when looking for my next watch.

Snappy, smooth functioning smartwatch with great battery life. Extremely happy with my purchase.
I have had a Huawei watch 2 since it’s release and always liked the watch but the laggy functionality and limited battery life limited the enjoyment.
This watch resolves both of those issues and the bigger screen is also much easier to use with less precision required on some of the more cluttered apps. There is a calculator app that I thought would be unusable on a watch but it is easy to use accurately (basic functions only). The watch is also more comfortable to wear despite being bigger and heavier. The strap is reasonably soft and if you are worried about the monitors protruding from the back (I was concerned coming from a smooth back), it is not noticeable and I find the strap can be less tight to get a good reading so actually improves comfort.

Use case. I am an active sports person so I do use HR and GPS tracking regularly. I already own a dedicated sports watch and I had considered replacing that rather than buying the Ticwatch. However, I also use wear OS shopping apps and other day to day apps just as frequently that the sport watches don’t cater for as well. I decided the Ticwatch was the best of both worlds. It has not disappointed.
A 3 hour mountain bike ride with HR and GPS on and even after a full days usage, I went to bed with 70% battery remaining. I could easily do a full day ride with this battery.

The second screen (essentials mode) works great and shows the necessary data when active. HR, time elapsed, pace and a scrolling height and calories measure. My activities are set to auto sync to Strava. I have turned off auto detect activities though as it is very generous on what it considers a run.

Note that the second screen does impact the functionality of some apps that display over other apps. E.g. I use a shopping list app that sits on the top screen on my Huawei so you don’t need to keep reopening it each time you check your list. The essential screen does take precedence on this watch although a simple tap wakes it up to show the app again.

HR accuracy seems good enough. I haven’t done extensive comparison tests to a chest strap but I have been training with HR for years and the readings are where I would expect them to be for given effort across easy, tempo and hard efforts. Background tracking is giving higher readings than expected but I have not had the strap tight enough. Not an issue for me as I only have continuous tracking turned on for novelty but if I were interested, I would need the strap snug at all times.

I like wear OS but was reticent to re-invest until Samsung and Google teamed up to breathe new life into the platform. This watch is still on wear OS 2 and the update to 3 seems to be getting delayed but this watch is due to get the update. I am perfectly happy with OS 2 but it was important to get a watch that will update to 3 as app support for Wear OS 2 is dying. To be honest, the wear platform is my biggest concern with this purchase. It works well but Google have blown hot and cold with investment and support.

I use the watch with an iPhone. Everything works apart from the inability to send texts or take calls on the watch as apple lock that out.

I paid 245 with a voucher code and consider this a great buy.

Great little watch. Does what it says.

Reason why i have given this 4 stars is that the app is not great. Very clunky. I have come from the Fitbit Eco System so maybe i am expecting too much but will give it time.

I am also confused about the essential mode. I use it alot as im no good at making sure the battery is topped up. However, when i am in Essential Mode and i charge the battery up it seems to reboot and goes back to normal mode. This is even when i put the watch in to essential mode myself rather than have it switch when the battery level drops.

Still waiting for Wear OS 3 which was why i got this over the other 2 Wear OS 3 watches on the market. The Wear OS 3 update was supposed to happen in the early part of the year so i would have expected it by now.

All in all a great watch,, collects alot of data and then the software doesnt know what to do with it.

Excellent product, good battery life, excellent Bluetooth connection. It’s limited to Vodafone in the UK but that’s an issue with the carriers more than anything else. I would have preferred an actual sim card instead of e sim but the issue is you would have had to pay for a sperate sim card anyways. With e sim you an extra small fee instead of a full fee for data. It’s a hit and miss your choice. Because there’s a 4G radio, the GPS is excellent.

    Excellent device.

I am very happy with my purchase! I was looking for a watch that I could answer my calls and not running around the house to find the phone. On top of that, the fact that you can set the watch when to go to essential mode and when to go to smart mode was the cherry on the top of the cake. I have set the watch to go to essential mode at 20:00 and return to smart mode at 08:00. This way, I got a full weak of power, only charging the watch once a week which is perfect for me. Also, I used the outdoor walking function with the GPS enabled and I was thrilled to see all the data that were recorded: time, distance, calories, steps, GPS route…
All in all, extremely happy with my purchase!

Fr unterwegs sehr interessant…

Also das klingt jetzt sehr verliebt aber mir fallen gerade keine Nachteile an.

    ++ Sehr gute Akkulaufzeit
    + Sehr gute Helligkeit
    + Lautsprecher Qualitt ist gut

    – Bei ‘always on’ (watchface ultimate) Verbrauch 2% pro Stunde

    – Heartrate: gleich
    – Stresslevel: Tendenz gleich
    – Blutsauerstoff: 1-2% hher (da schwchelt aber bekanntermaen Garmin)
    – Schrittzhler: eilt 5-10% voraus (motivierender als anders herum ).
    – Kalorienverbrauch beim Training: fast gleich

    Optisch ansprechender Begleite

I had the ticwatch Pro 3 upgraded to the new model.. what another fantastic watch by mobvoi battery is super especially for a wear os last up to 3 4 days depending on usage.. other models only last up to 24 hours max… had all the fitness/health apps you could ask for very accurate and recordings giving on watch and there apps for greater detail… you can also go swimming and record which is great… the dual screen comes in handy which saves on battery consumption.. highly recommended

Excellent wear os smartwatch best out there 👌

I have been using Ticwatches now since 2018. What got me using Ticwatches is their incredible battery life which keeps getting better.
I started off with the Ticwatch Pro then the Ticwatch Pro 4G/LTE, Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS, Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS ( you can see a picture of the last 3).
So why do I keep using them, I will go by my experience and I am not going to get into tech details as you can get that information from the product description.

    Pros:
Battery life: Gives me up 3 – 3.5 days . I actually got 4 days when I scheduled the Auto switch to essential mode between 9 pm and 6 am. That did mean that I couldn’t track my sleep.

Look and feel: this model feels a lot more premium than the earlier models, it’s definitely thinner and feels lighter and more comfortable on my wrist. It’s very smooth scrolling through the apps compared to the much earlier Ticwatch Pro. The AMOLED screen is very bright, and setting it to auto-adjust also saves on battery. I like how the strap fits around my wrist, it also doesn’t flap about

Durability: The Screen is tougher than the previous model ( managed to scratch that one in the first month I got it) This one has already taken a few knocks and has not been scratched yet.
It is also waterproof, unlike the previous model.

    Cons,

I would’ve preferred the watch casing to be metal, but it still looks great though.

Would’ve liked a rotating bezel or at least give the buttons scrolling functionality when they are turned.

On the whole, it’s a great watch and I will probably keep buying the new versions as they continuously improve

    Absolutamente recomendado.

This is the 3rd wear is watch I’ve tried. The Samsung GW4 wasn’t fully compatible with my pixel 6 phone & the battery life wasn’t great, so sent it back. A friend has the fossil Gen 6 & he despairs at the awful battery life. So I tried this. 3 days is no problem & the pairing was easy. Everything is compatible with my pixel & the software works perfectly. I’ve heard people complain about wear OS 2, but it works very well & does everything you want it to. I have no complaints. It’s a great watch!

I have a fossil Carlyle wear OS watch but got the Ticwatch 3 as I wanted good battery life and this watch is amazing in comparison.

I can easily go three days without charging it even with 24 heart monitoring, Bluetooth nfc and WiFi on, it makes using a wear os watch fun again as you can use all the features without worrying that your watch will need a recharge daily.

Sometimes the heart rate says a low rate like 52 when walking but very rarely and it could be that the watch moved slightly during while it was taking the reading.

NFC for Google pay is okay, seems to be weaker than on my other smart watch but it does always work although some shops contactless readers sometimes require two tries to succeed.

The power saving watch screen is actually so handy I don’t use the watch face in always on mood. The light on the second screen makes it easy to read and the main screen is clear and easy to read as well, the only niggle is that the spO2 reader is very temperamental, takes a lot of tries. And yet if you have 24 hour health monitoring on instead of heart monitoring then the blood oxygen reader seems to work much better so maybe there’s a bug in the software or they affect each other.

The mobvoi app let’s you share your data with google fit so it can see your heart rate records, the mobvoi android app shows the same data but not as effectively as using google fit where you can see the heart rate records as a series of points on a scale and also choose to see the results sorted by time and so see exactly what time a recorded heart rate was actually recorded at.

Overall a very good watch, and the best wear os watch I have seen or at least that I have used.

Really happy with my purchase of this watch.

The battery life is excellent. Lasts me 2 full days without charge, with moderate use and heart rate monitoring turned on.

I haven’t experienced any stuttering or jittering when moving between screens on the watch or opening apps. The fancy processor must be doing its job because it’s by far the smoothest experience I’ve had of any smartwatch.

The screen is very high quality. Everything looks sharp

The design of the watch body itself is very nice. Looks like a professional watch with a nice leather strap. It’s very comfortable and you’ll easily forget that it’s on after a while because it doesn’t feel too heavy.

Sleep tracking seems pretty good although I’ve only used this feature a handful of times.

If anyone reading this has lots of smart lights or smart devices in their house, just being able to hold down one of the buttons on the watch to activate Google Assitant makes life very easy.

Would recommend this watch to anyone 10/10

    Very pleased with this watch.
The battery easily last for two days with screen selected to always on, this included my regularly gym work outs.
When ‘always on’ is deselected it lasts for several days.
When the screen is off it uses the low power screen, which looks like a smart digital watch.
The watch uses android Wear, which is very intuitive, I have bought this to replace my Samsung galaxy watch, I find it easier to use.
Good selection of watch faces are included, more can be download.
The watch face looks as good as any other I have seen, it makes my old Samsung look dated.
The Black bezel is very smart.
It came with a brown leather strap, which looks good with a shirt, I have bought a black rubber strap, which gives it a sports watch look, which I prefer for day to day wear.
The screen is very reactive, to touch and swipe commands.
Overall I am really eased with this watch, it feels and looks smart.
I have no problem in recommending this watch.

    Positives I’ve found:
+ The leather style strap looks stylish and feels premium. I think it will last a long time and be a good investment.
+ Adequate adjustment on the strap.
+ Light enough on the wrist but enough to feel well made.
+ Metal body is really nice.
+ It has passed durability and waterproof standards.
+ Would look stylish wearing for any occasion.
+ Twisting buttons feel good and are tactile.
+ Google Wear OS makes setup very easy.
+ Works with Android or iOS phones.
+ Encountered no software bugs or issues.
+ More watch face display customisation than Apple Watch.
+ Low power AMOLED always on display works very well at conserving battery.
+ I could wear in bed for sleep tracking without worrying about battery life for days.
+ Battery life is excellent. It will differ for everyone but for most it will last many days. Wow!
    + Embedded microphone for recording.
+ Quick launch programmed app by pressing the lower button.
+ I’ve had no connection issues to Wi-Fi or 4G.
+ Notifications are reliable and very fast.
+ Snapdragon processor is one of the latest and greatest. I’ve had no issues with speed.
+ GPS was as accurate as my iPhone.
+ Access to all the brilliant Google apps designed for Wear OS.
+ Ticwatch’s own apps are good on the whole, you may prefer some of these over Google ones and for others, you may prefer Google.

    Areas for improvement:
    – Strap may not be ideal enough for heavy sport activity, but you may be able to use a different strap.
    – If you’re looking for a small watch this probably isn’t for you.
    – Rotating the watch crown doesn’t do anything, perhaps a missed opportunity here.
    – You will have to wait a bit longer for Wear OS 3 update.

Elegant, Feature Packed with Excellent Battery Life

I don’t review on Amazon very often. I buy loads of stuff from Amazon and haven’t got the time to review the hundred or so things I purchase a year… but now and again I make an exception.

The last review I made was for the Ticwatch Pro in November 2019 and here we are 2 years and 2 months later and I’ve upgraded to the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G/LTE.

As I was so impressed with my original Ticwatch I opted for the upgrade against the “supposed” better (& more expensive) options from more well known brands.

I have been wearing this new watch for a week now and it is just amazing. Its so comfortable that you don’t even realise your wearing it. In comparison, the 2019 Pro was a bit chunky to wear.

The battery lasts for 2-3 days constant use compared to 1-2 days with the Pro.

The new screens and apps are alot more varied and very useful.

I also love the fact that I can use the watch independent from my phone. I’m a Vodafone customer and the watch allows you to piggyback onto your mobile contract. It makes you feel a bit like James Bond, using your watch to make and receive calls.

Overall, this watch is everything you could want in a watch and then you have the additional features which make this watch special.

If you want to spend more money on the “named brand” watch then more fool you.

The wise buy quality no matter the cost.....It just makes sense when its cheaper.

The Ticwatch Pro 3 is a great looking android wear smartwatch. I’ve included some pictures of when I first set it up, which was very straightforward.
The watch is very well built with a lovely leather band. It feels good on the wrist and is very comfortable. It has a number of standout features but the two that really appeal to me are:
Battery Life — begone battery anxiety! The battery on this watch has given me nearly 3 days before it needed charging. It also gives up to 45 days when using essential mode, which I haven’t tried as I’m too busy playing with it. This is a marked change on my previous smartwatch that barely gets over a day and that’s with turning off its monitoring features (which I had bought it for — Catch 22 or what?).
With the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra I don’t have these daily battery worries any more.
Screen — The AMOLED screen is excellent but this watch has a trick in that it also has a second LCD screen. Instead of your watch going to a black screen to save power, like other smartwatches, this watch activates the LCD screen which stays on and provides time, steps, battery life, and heartrate. It also has a backlight function to help when it’s darker.
It also has all the benefits of Wear OS and is compatible with all the apps including whatsapp, google pay, and google fit. Plus it has google assistant which is a brilliant function with the builtin microphone and speaker.
Also it’s soon getting the new Wear OS 3 update which will only improve it further.
Performance wise I found that it had zero lag and menus and apps were quick and fluid to use.
Overall one of the best Wear OS watches. With regard to battery life it has no competition.

I’ve previously owned a few smartwatches/fitness trackers and my last watch (the 1st edition Ticwatch Pro 3) was the best watch I had owned by far. Until now.

Mobvoi have just taken that watch and made it better, quite simple. The battery life is extended to the point where I forget I need to charge it up! Annoyingly due to my mobile contract I haven’t been able to use the 4G aspect of it but everything else connects fine and the watch is super fast.

The ability to change the blacklight colour on the always on display is a great touch. The white on the previous watch was nice enough but the new colours really make the watch glow in the dark when it’s needed and they look great.

The additional health/fitness aspects of the watch seem to work really well. I use a Garmin Fenix 6 for my activities but it’s good to see my steps/HR/stress etc on the ticwatch when I’m not exercising.

Overall its definitely the best watch on the market if you aren’t an apple user… and maybe even better than those.

This is the 3rd TicWatch I have owned, and with each new edition they improve.

The packing felt premium, much like the product and taking it out of the box the watch was surprisingly light. Initially I thought the battery had to be put on separately due to the weight.

I’ve , enclosed some photos. The watch with the brown strap is this new edition and the black strap is the older edition. They are similar in size, but the new watch is noticeably thinner. Despite this the performance is enhanced and there is nothing lost from the watch.

I’ve used the watch at the Gym, and the tracking is good, I liked the breakdown of the warm up, fat burning times it gives you. This will be helpful in tracking your workouts.

Battery life – One of the biggest frustrations of the first tic watch for me was the need to put on charge every night. I used this all weekend and still had 65% battery at the end of two days with me being away and using the maps function. This is vast improvement on the first version of the pro I had.

The strap this comes with does look a little more formal, I will wear this for work. I’m not sure how well the brown goes with the Black but overall I’m pleased with how it looks. The strap is a little Rigid, however I feel like the previous watch this will soften. In any event the straps can be changed so if this is not to personal taste then this can change.

The watch charger – this is a small point, but a fairly important one. When I upgraded from my 1st TicWatch to my 2nd. The change in charger was frustrating because i’d purchased chargers for different rooms (i.e. work and home) so when I had the new watch it meant I had to get additional chargers. As I intend to keep my current watch and have 2 watches, I was very grateful to see the same charger design maintained. Lots of cables around can be frustrating so I’m glad they’ve maintained consistency.

    Android Pay – works flawlessly

Whataspp / SMS – Come through and easy to view from wrist

Blood Oxygen – This is an interesting add on- checking mine as ‘normal’ is always good to see.

Heart rate monitor – useful for not only workouts but more generally to track health.

Sleep monitor – I havent used this so cannot comment. I cant sleep with a watch on, so this is not a function i’d use.

Vodaphone One number: I’m sure this is outside the control of TicWatch – but this seemed like it would be a great add on with the virtual sim. I was expecting vodaphone’s one number to operate like my Amazon Echo. however there is a fee of 7.50 a month added on. ‘For the few times I’ll be without my mobile i decided not to add this. It would be good if an agreement to have this lower priced or free like the Amzon echo could be achieved.

Overall, an excellent smart watch which i’m very impressed with and is 100% an improvement on previous versions.
