I really wished I bought it years ago, I really love it – sturdy, easy to move, easy to carry all my camera and lights equipment (beach locations, indoor locations). And easy to fold and pack back in the car.

We like the sturdiness and wheel width of this. Used it for off road camping and beach and worked well for both. The side flaps are difficult to fold in when storing and it’s not the easiest to wheel when packed up, the wheels move about a lot!

Used it for the first time the other day at an event. Got lots of enquiries from other people that thought it was good. It’s well made and easy to pack/unpack and use. Now able to cart much more stuff on a picnic. The wide wheels worked well on grass and gravel.

Great to have if you like to pack more stuff for the beach than you ever need.

Only negative that it takes a lot of space when unfolded but it’s easy to manoeuvre and looks sturdy. (Although handle could be made of better metal not just aluminium.)

Very well made, packed and easy to deploy. This truck was essential in a recent house move. Big enough yet compact when folded and stored. Very happy with the quality, big chunky wheels are very good

Recently went to a festival and this trolley was dragged through the mud loaded up with gear with no problems. Where other trolleys had wheels fall off this one kept going. Don’t scrimp, it’s worth the extra money.

Did us well for a festival where it got quite muddy on the way back after camping. Wheels at the back clogged a bit but that was due to wood chips getting stuck in there with the mud and grass. Would recommend. Folds nicely to go in the car and carried a lot.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was hopefully this would be worth the price – so far looks good.
We’ve purchased for beach days to help with all the family junk
Took seconds to set up . Looks robust
Light to lift in and out of the car.
Large – will be big enough to hold beach chairs, blankets, bags etc
And compact to store when not in use
Good design with storage cover and straps to secure.

A sturdy apparently well put together trolley . We got this for our older dog so he can enjoy longer walks with us and can have a rest while we walk. The material is tough and the handle works well . We haven’t tried it on a walk yet but he fits in there fine.
I’m a little concerned about the wheels. They look and feel plasticky and cheap and I think a better option would have been a solid rubber treaded wheel. Lost a star for the wheels. Apart from that it looks and works great. It folds up well to go in the car. It’s expensive but if it helps our dog enjoy his walks then it will have been worth it.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersMe and my partner took this to Glasto and it was fantastic. We were worried that it wouldn’t be sturdy enough, but how wrong we were! It carried all of our camping gear, booze and more across a good few hours of walking on rocky, muddy and grassy terrain and it did not faulter! Both the journey to the tent and back to the car was made so much easier with this. To top it all off, it collapses down very easily and could be stored in the front of our two man tent for 5 days. Reccomending to all of our friends for festivals!

5.0 out of 5 stars Survived Glastonbury!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was hoping having the wider wheels, it might be OK to use on sand. Maybe it had too much stuff in it, including two inflatable kayaks and a heavy picnic box, a small tent and sundry items but we had to unload a lot of it once we hit sand. Saying that is was very easy indeed to use on a gravel track.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is an amazing trolley, I use mine for dog shows and it takes up little to no room when in car and very robust. Big wheels great across grassed areas. Can fit loads in.
I was a little worried that when it came out of the neat carrier it prob wouldn’t go back in as easy, but I couldn’t have been more wrong, so easy to re pack away and not heavy to lump around when loading and unloading.
    Excellent produc

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersFirstly, I would like to praise Timber Ridge as a company. Their customer service is by far the best and most personal that I’ve ever received on Amazon from a seller. I really couldn’t praise them enough in that regard. The trolley is also highly recommended. This is a super heavy duty trolley which I use regularly to cart my toddler and a lot of other things around. Manoeuvrability wise, it is great, and the wide wheels are fantastic to go across sand and grass and it doesn’t feel like you’re hauling anything at all on pathways. I love the way it looks, and would say it is the best looking trolley of its ilk. It’s easy to put up and put down, fits in to the car like a dream and just a fantastic product.

I am delighted with this product. It was put to the test over half terms. Performed very well on lots of unstable surfaces. (Gravel, Mud, Grass, Wet Sand) Soft sand it was harder to pull but was still achieved with my husband pulling, although you wont want to go it for too long if its heavy. Get down onto the wetter sand and it pulls like a dream. Steering was great, no tipping. Great quality for a reasonable price. I’d very much recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsing this trolley to carry watering cans back and forth from the water trough to my plot, on my allotment to water my veg/ plants.
It was a good buy, it’s strong, yet not too heavy. It is larger than I thought and has good manoeuvrability.
The only thing is that when it is folded up it is still quite large, so it is not as compact as I would have liked. Could have many uses, depends what you want to carry.
All in all, a good product.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis cart is heavier and more sturdy than I thought. But this turned out to be an advantage. I use it for hauling equipment for my job. Recently I have really put it through its paces. It’s been through mud and snow, and along narrow footpaths over roots and rocky bumps. Its wide wheels provide plenty of surface area, and its bulk gives it a sturdiness needed for the job. Unfolding is easy. Once you have unzipped the cover and slipped it off, just open it out and place the bottom stiff mat into it and you are off. The extendable handle is a good length for pulling (I am tall) and there is plenty of room for all your bits and pieces. This would be good for getting to and from a beach, for instance. My only criticism is that getting the cover back on once you have folded the cart up is rather tricky. I am sure there’s a knack to it. Fits in the car boot nicely once folded. Recommended.

Tie strap did come unstitched after 1 use so glued it instead and is fine now. Is light and wheels are good for grass terrain, not tried it at a beach yet though. Got it for carrying tent and sup board etc. So watch this space next year….

Genau, was ich gesucht habe.

Doing alot of camping/ beach hols with 2 children under 3 and a dog we ha e so much stuff. This is amazing!! Easy to pull and good wheels as some are too small and get stuck in sand. We had the kids sat in it sometimes with bags aswell and pulled them along. Made our holiday so much easier and so many people commented and asked for details. Always looking to make life easier and this is a must have woth children. Even if they weren’t in it the amount of stuff we needed was so easy and folded up great. Family had a diff one and was huge even when folded. Great quality. Well worth the money. Perfect size

I was impressed with this trolley – it took a lot of punishment at the festival we went too – rough, rocky tracks, lots of trips to and from the car laden with stuff, carrying 2 children (7 and 4) around the festival site – but looks like it is ready to do it all again. Will be great for beach trips etc too.

    Would recommend it without hesitation.

Loaded it up with an insane amount of weight because I’m lazy and didn’t want to walk miles back to the car.
It held the weight no problem. Even pulled my 11 year old around the festival in it.
It folds really easily and it has a little case you can put over it.
It was definitely worth the money I paid for i

Negatives first – some of the outer pockets are partially blocked by the frame limiting their usefulness and the wheels feel like hollow plastic leaving me wondering how long they’ll last.

That being said the trolley was incredibly useful on holiday, especially when needing to take lots of equipment and provisions onto the beach for two kids and a dog! The capacity was sufficient for everything we needed and it took the weight fine.

Be warned though, although this has wider wheels than some other trolleys making it easier for beach use, it’s still fairly hard to pull on loose sand once it’s fully loaded. But I’d rather this than a thin wheeled model, or none at all!

We bought the wagon for our holiday in Cornwall to transport all our bits & pieces to the beach. Really easy to put up & down, sturdy, a good size to fit lots in. We went for the all terrain option & I’m so glad we did as it was no issue across the sand. We saw many others with similar type trolleys but often with the thinner wheels & you could see that manoeuvring theirs was not as easy.
Highly recommend this product to all others.

Well built, easy to fold up and fold down. We used it at Download to take our stuff from the car park to the camp site. I used bungees to secure the gear (and food & drink). My advice is that although it’s well built don’t overload it! I saw folk with there barrows literally bending with the ‘lazy man’s burden’. I did two trips with ease and it handled the (not unsubstantial) loads with ease.

Shopping for provisions on a narrowboat holiday has always been a balance between buying what is wanted and what can be carried back to the boat. Problem solved with a trolley.

This Timber Ridge wagon was a great choice: plenty of room for food and drink, no problem with the weight of boxes of cans and bottles of drink, easy to maneuver, the large wheels were a boon on the towpath (and undropped kerbs), and it was easy to fold up and stow on the boat.

I wish I’d thought of it for holidays past.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTook this out for its first outing to a pebble beach. It was fantastic, think this is due to the width of the wheels. My life has been changed by buying this item! No seriously!
I originally bought it as I like to go on long walks with the kids and sometimes they get tired along the way making the walk unbearable. The day after we got it we took a walk and inevitably legs were getting tired so in they went one by one. All 3 kids fit in well (oldest 7, youngest 3) and it was a bit heavy to pull but after 10min they were all wanting to push/pull it along. They ended up walking the whole 2 hours with no complaints other than who’s turn it was to push or pull it. I was amazed!
It’s also had many other uses that I wouldn’t have thought of such as getting the shopping delivered it can all be chucked in the wagon and then wheeled to the kitchen. I took it on holiday and unpacked the car to the accommodation with one trip instead of several.
Going to the beach on the train has become a breeze instead of a nightmare!
It folds up nice and easy too, smaller than the stroller I use for my youngest.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this enough, just buy it!

We used this for camping at a festival where we used it to transport all our stuff from the car to the field. 5 trips later it had survived the uneven terrain. It pulled the weight of a full camping fridge, tent, bags etc up hill with no trouble. Very impressed with its sturdiness.
Would just have liked it to be a bit bigger with some straps to secure the load.
Recommend packing bungy cords so you can stack everything up and secure it.

  55. BridgetHunger says:

Well built, good size and easy to manoeuvre. Other recent reviews have talked about handle issues but mine works just fine and as expected. I would just say that it’s quite a bit heavier than I was expecting, which isn’t a problem for me, but may be if you’re less able and trying to get it in and out of a car, for example.

I brought this as my 15 year old staffy really struggles walking for any periods longer then 10 mins. I brought two different cushion pads as seen in pics that sit perfectly inside so it is more comfortable for him. My dog has taken well to it (will still try and jump out occasionally when a new sniff comes his way) and a lot of people have commented on his new wheels lol

The only thing I need to get for it now is a sun canopy to give him some shade but other then that, this is so easy to unfold and get going with. I love the pocket compartments as his water bottle/throw etc can fit in perfectly with lots of space still left!

I do struggle to get the outer cover back on it once folded up again but this is no big deal for daily walks as it can be left off to save having to mess around with putting it on and off each time.

Manoeuvring is very easy and not super loud. I can not fault it! So if you have an elderly dog who struggles to walk but is insistent on going still (you know which one I mean, the you will not hear the end of it stare!) like my baby boy does then you will not go wrong with this!!!

My boy thinks he is a puppy mentally and wants to keep going and going but his body unfortunately does not agree so this helps him take the rest he very much needs, yet still allowing him to look around with his nose in the air breathing in all the fresh air and taking in all the new smells that come his way and tail wagging

Amazing quality and one very happy owner and very happy Thank you

    Perfect for my dog!!!

I needed something to carry two lots of fishing tackle for transport from car to fishing peg. This does that and so long as treated with a little care should continue to do so.

I don’t think I’d get a job demonstrating how simple it is to fold and unfold but that’s probably more me being a bit of crumbly that the fault of the unit.

Don’t try to push it or you’ll soon be cursing. Probably not easy to maneuver indoors either but for dragging your stuff from your car for a few hundred yards is easy enough and a lot easier than carrying it.

Carried all the beach kit for four adults and 2 children – big cool box and chairs and the usual towels etc .j
Used a couple of bunjy ropes to keep contents secure over pebbles – it was stacked above capacity to be fair.
With the wide wheels, it just trundles over pebbles and sand without stalling or sinking..

Expensive bit of kit but well worth it. Perfect for the beach in Cornwall with all the windbreaks, tent and chairs along with water etc. Even ideal for sitting two tired small dogs in, they loved it. Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSo useful – spending the day at the beach with small children seems to require a lot of stuff (to do it comfortably and everyone have a nice time anyway!) – and when they’re little they can’t really help carry much on the way down, and are often asleep on the way back.. but this wagon fits all the stuff we need (pop-up tent, blankets, chairs, coolbox, buckets & spades, changes of clothes etc), and can easily be steered one-handed across the sand while carrying a child with the other arm.

No longer feels like a mission having a day at the beach, simply repack the wagon after getting home and you’re all ready for next time – just chuck in a picnic and go!

If the kids don’t want to leave the beach at the end of the day, the novelty of sitting in the wagon and riding across the beach to the car park seems to help avoid tantrums too!

It feels really sturdy so I’m hoping it will last a few years. We’ve used it 10+ times already since getting it this summer, and it still looks pristine. It’s a bit expensive but I think it’s worth the investment as it has made beach days significantly easier.

We would have got quite far but were stopped by people who were keen to give the passenger a pat. Although not what it was produced for, this cart is really well made and collapsed neatly. The big wheels were perfect for the beach. Lots of comparable ones had thin wheels.

Sturdy and easy to store ca

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersOur children have outgrown the buggy so we needed an alternative to carrying the equipment for a day out and them when they get tied.

We took it to the beach. It fitted all we needed for a family of 4. It was easy enough to pull along sand. The handle is sturdy and has a good turn.
It is more simple than a buggy to collapse and takes up less room.
It holds a good weight and could fit both my children in (3 and 5) to be pulled down the prom when they got too tired to walk.

A couple of people asked about it and said it was such a good idea for the beach.

    Definitely worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally happy with this purchase, it’s bigger than I thought and heavy duty frame / wheels. Will be able to fit all our beach stuff, as well as chairs tent / food etc. Haven’t tried on sand yet but seems like it will be absolutely fine. Didn’t come with lid but that’s a minor detail. Going to make going to the beach with kids and all the stuff so much easier. Loads of side pocket storage too! Good value.

    Great purchase

This is perfect! It folds up pretty small and very easy to put up and down. Fits lots of stuff inside. Seems very sturdy and the wheels performed perfectly when on part grass and part path. So happy with it. I would recommend.

Wonderful trolley. Husband uses it for all his fishing equipment. Fits in nicely. Folds down for ease, pulls along well. Does what we need it to. Well worth the money. Now I have piece and quiet, as he doesn’t need me to carry anything now.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersDelivered next day. Hubby ordered this for his fishing gear. Not used it yet but he’s really impressed how sturdy it is. Its easy to unfold & quite compact when folded. Bottom base sheet folds in half & slides into a compartment. Zipped side pocket is the length of the trolley & also has several net pockets for accessories, flask etc. The handle is height adjustable too.

    Sturdy trolley

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI used my trolley for the first time today. Once the outer cover has been removed. it is so quick and easy to assemble. It is a perfect size and I could put loads of things in it. The trolley is sturdy, and I love the swivelling front wheels. Ticks all the boxes for me. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 36 From Our UsersI spent ages researching for trolleys, needing something suitable for sand for beach trips and the majority of carts had narrow wheels. I eventually went for this Timber Ridge unit because it had large, wide wheels and must admit, it was an incredibly good purchase.

The wheels are large, with a rubberised tread in the middle for grip on hard surfaces. Due to British weather I did (sadly) need to test whether it could go up a very steep tarmac slope full to the brim with heavy beach/camping gear and it was incredibly sure-footed.

It’s well made and very sturdy indeed. The handle and steering system seems very robust and easy to use. The many pockets and zipped compartments on the outside of the load space make it really easy to sort and organise your stuff.

We took it to the beach and it pulled really well on both hard and soft sand. Obviously, it’s harder on soft sand but the wheels still moved pretty well and at no point did I feel it became “a sledge”, it continued to behave like a trolley.

It folds into a fairly compact unit, but is quite heavy so frail or elderly individuals would perhaps struggle to load it in-and-out of the car. But use is really easy and I’m very pleased I went for this option.

My only criticism is that it would be great to have push handles on one end, in addition to the pulling/steering handle at the other. Because when taking heavy loads up steep slopes, it’s hard for others to help without a control surface to push. Equally, when taking heavy loads down steep slopes, having a solid push-bar would certainly help.

But it’s deserving of 5 stars in this difficult product category.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSo I’ve waited until I’ve used this a number of times before rating. We mainly wanted something that we could pile all our stuff in for beach trips. For us this would mean heavy but not too regular use. In the few months since we purchased it’s been dragged through sand, over dunes, through shingle & bounced over larger pebbles (poor thing!) with quite heavy loads. Typically – 2 wind breaks, 2 sun loungers, 1 parasol, large cool box & other bits & bobs! Obviously some of these terrains have meant some huff & puff and an extra push from behind but you would find that with anything heavy on wheels. We’ve found it sturdy & easy to assemble & pack away. We didn’t buy cheap looking at it as hopefully an investment for years of use and so far we think it will do the job.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased and used for carrying beach equipment. We needed a robust and capacious trolley to carry weighty inflatable paddle boards, plus bulky windbreaks, belly boards etc. The Timber Ridge wagon was perfect for this. We even used it to carry tired (grand)children back at the end of the day. The wide wheels allowed us to pull our cargo over soft sand where other trolleys were getting bogged down. The side pockets were useful for storing flasks and drinks away from the sand. The unit folds down into a compact shape for transport to and from the beach car park. It is easy to imagine broader use – as advertised – for camping, garden activities etc.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersSuper easy to fold and unfold , turns on a sixpence and feels solid

When we got this our 2 year old took a Kiki g to it and considers it now his personal transport

The folding is simple, it’s strong and the wheels work as well as can be expected so fine on most ground but will struggle a bit on soft sand with a heavier load

It’s on the larger side for a wagon which is what we wanted but if you want a regular sized wagon double check the dimensions

Big capacity, solid, easy to fold and nimble

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this wagon. Have loaded it up with all our beach gear and a 4 year old and I can easily wheel it to the beach. Have had lots of compliments and made many recommendations so expecting to see a few more people with these on the beach soon! Also the outer pocket is perfect loads of space for all your little bits and pieces like suncream and phones.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI purchased this wagon after much research and
After many trips to the beach with family loaded up I had had enough!
You can buy cheaper versions but this is sturdy, well made, and I wanted something that could be pulled on sand so looked at the wheels.
It’s been a great help and has useful side pockets.
All in all very well thought out and very well made. I’m very pleased with it and would recommend it.
If there are any negatives it would be that once it’s folded up it’s a little on the heavy side to lift but that’s because of the quality of the product.
    Definitely not flimsy!
