I really like this flashlight . It works great. I have not had it for long so can not comment on the durability yet. However, it is a very powerful light.
Good spread when walking and poweful pinpoint when focusued with great distance
Unbelievably powerful for such a small size. Incredible. The only downside is that after about 20 minutes use it gets increasingly hot. We once left it on by mistake for about an hour. It was so hot, we literally couldn’t hold it.
There are so many torches to choose from I spent ages choosing one – I wanted a sturdy chunky one – this is excellent – It is really bright and like others say it’s to locate the dog when he goes into the field at night – I bought another T6 torch from elsewhere that too is good very bright but neater 5 inches and smaller but somehow it doesn’t give the width of field that this one does. I love it. Definitely recommend.

Very sturdy, compact and manageable to handle. Wrist strap is quite strong and useful. Extremely bright. Do NOT shine into anyone’s eyes or you’ll blind them. The wide beam to spot beam is easy to operate as a 1 handed zoom action.
I can’t say about the battery life yet as I haven’t had it all that long but frrom previous experience of other LED torches I expect a good battery life.
Hands down the best torch I have bought for years , I have a 3 D cell maglite and this is much brighter. For the money you can’t go wrong , I have put some rechargeable batteries in the torch to save money too it takes 3 AAA batteries.

Brilliant torch best one ive ever owned!! The brightness of this torch is amazing!! It’s a sturdy torch but is slightly heavy but I can live with that as a brilliant torch. Highly recommend 5 star. I will be purchasing another one for my partner.
Used to take the dog out at night. The brightness is excellent and the ability to focus the light on and object is fantastic. The build quality is sturdy and handles really well. Overall well pleased with the torch. The battery life seems reasonable I use duracell and they have lasted quite well.
We’ve had several electricity blackouts in the last 4 months. I’d got fed up of old, faint, torches & got this LED one. I can’t comment on the battery life as we’ve hardly used it. However, having bought it after the 3rd blackout it was absolutely brilliant during the 4th. Really nice, bright beam. However, it is a bit heavy.
Like this torch , super bright when in concentrated mode, but it does not produce as bright as it advertises when in open mode , you lose depth and brightness, all you get is a low light illumination with no definition..

Really impressive and powerful hand sized torch, use it fir night time dog walking all the time. Excellent and easy to use with one hand sliding zoom mechanism. Like other comments, I’d prefer not to start with strobe, but two clicks is not that much harder than one. If anything, I’d like the wrist string to be adjustable as it’s a bit big for me.
Purchased this torch a couple of weeks ago and I say it was a good decision. It’s quite heavy but it is well-made which is what I was wanting. Good bright variable beam and works on normal or rechargeable batteries. A little irritating when you press the on button and let go to quickly it goes into high speed flash mode. Summing up I would recommend.

This torch arrived today, and I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
I loaded it with my 3 AA batteries and was almost blinded by how bright it is. I didn’t shine it into my eyes, this was the ‘reflection’ from my front room wall !!!
It has a great feel. Sturdy and really well balanced.
I have no idea what the battery life is like, but so far so good.
And as an added incentive, the company offers a year long customer support service. That means that if anything happens to your torch in that time, you don’t need to post it back. All you do is contact them via their Gmail account, and they will either offer a replacement or FULL refund.
The one thing that puzzles me is…..What are the 2 battery tube’s for ??? They aren’t needed inside the torch and I tried to put spare AA’s in but they wouldn’t fit.

Appears well made out of quality materials with a good weight .Mine has a faulty switch which requires to be pushed twice otherwise it flashes. But I can live with that as the torch is faultless and has a great field of adjustable beam.
Torch has a very bright beam. It came with 3 types of battery holder (No batteries supplied). I used the holder which takes 1 bigger battery. It gives off a great light. When switched off and on again it does sometimes start in flashing mode as others have said but that’s not a big issue, just push the button again.

I was very impressed with this product. It is very sturdy and feel solid in your hand but not too heavy. The beam is fantastic. The wide beam covers a very large area and the narrow beam goes very far. I have a driveway 100m long and at the entrance to the drive I can hit the house no problem with the beam. I am using normal batteries at the moment which have lasted a fair while, although I don’t use the torch an awful lot but have bought a rechargeable one. I would recommend this torch based on my own experience.
Depending what you need this for it is a very good torch however not as bright as depicted on the advertisement, although in my experience NON of them are and the images on every torch I have bought (3) never produce the level of brightness or distance that is advertised therefore this torch is no different.
I keep it in my car as it is compact enough to fit in the door pocket even with the larger head it has and it is perfect for this requirement as I know I have a good solid torch to hand anytime I need it that I can rely on. So unless you want a torch that has the power of the sun it is ideal for everyday requirements
Fantastic torch really bright and easily adjustable very useful while out walking in the evening. The batteries last Quite well but when they do run out it isn’t really gradual it’s a bit sudden. This isn’t a problem as long you have a stock of batteries at home
I bought these for my grandsons who go camping with the Cubs. The wide angle light is extraordinary, and it can be gradually decreased until it is a pin point. The torch is light enough for little hands and the batteries are easily inserted.
Excellent for checking wall cavities. Recommend to all site agents or NHBC inspectors that need to inspect wall cavities or lofts etc. Bright control-able light just where it is needed. Robust metal bodied torch. Not too big or heavy to fit in jacket packet. My colleagues were so impressed with this torch that since I bought mine two other site managers and an NHBC Inspector have bought the same torch.
What a brilliant torch! It’s solidly built from what appear to be good quality materials and is very, very bright. It has an excellent focus mechanism that has a nice feel to it. This enables the beam to be changed from a broad (but still bright) pool of light into a pencil beam with an incredible range. I’m very impressed. I bought it to replace an aged LED torch that was intermittently failing. It’s a bit bigger and quite a lot heavier than my old torch, but it’s more powerful, more versatile (due to the beam adjustment feature), and better built.

Have other torches that are similar to this and they call came with batteries. This torch doesn’t come with a battery.
Has a flashing mode that is activated by turning it off from solid light, then turning it back on and it’s in flashing mode.
This is surprisingly bright for its size and weight. Has an excellent and easy to operate zoom beam function, which I’ve never experienced before but quickly becomes an essential feature. A very good torch at a very good price.
Luckily it has a beam focus. At narrow beam, the Cree square can pick up things a kilometre away but is pretty useless unless you want to annoy someone. The wide beam is great for walking and the range between these give a well lit view for its size.
The XM-L came with a 18650 lithium battery and a robust charger. I bought extra batteries. This new flashlight can take this battery and also other types.
When you switch on this light, as my other one, and most others, the first setting is a flashing mode. I was told this is to dis-orientate an attacker. This is very annoying. But a slight touch on the switch brings it to normal mode. My previous flashlight now wants only to give me flashing mode. Being all these flashlights are probably made in the same Chinese factory, could someone please tell them that most of their customers are not Special Forces in combat but ordinary people who merely want to see where they are going / what they are doing at night.
Altogether I like it. I use it for dog walks, also for nocturnal animal observation. Actually the flashing strobe could be useful. In theory if I shine this on a flying owl, it should slow down the wing movement.
This is indeed a very powerful torch. I’m not sure about the battery life yet. My only issue is the weight. It is not light!
Three different modes. Bright, dim and bright strobe. Flood to spot. Really well built and sturdy.. not cheap. Have dropped it a couple of times and still works great. Can’t comment on battery life yet but still Bright after a few days usage. One of the better torches I’ve ever bought.
I don’t often write reviews unless something is really good or really bad! However, this torch is better than I expected. The brightness and power are awesome, the torch is slightly smaller than it looked on the advert but the brightness is not compromised at all.
I have always used maglite torches but this one takes it to a level above maglite. It is a sturdy torch and I cant comment on battery life or reliability as I’ve only had it a couple of days.
Very bright with a great range. Not sure about the battery life as I have only used for a short time. Feels solid and easy to use. So far very pleased with the purchase.

Well, it is no brighter than your average Cree l.e.d torch. I do not have the problem of it initially coming on in strobe mode, mine comes on at the full brightness mode. At the deal price, I suppose it is value for money, but it’s a bit pricey at full price. Seems reasonably well made. I suggest putting a little Vaseline on the threads to get smooth rotation of the end cap. I don’t think it will outshine my Nitecor (using AA batteries). A good chunky torch, which should serve its purpose.

Strong and sturdy torch. Quite bright too. A lot smaller than the pictures suggest. I ran a 2300mah 18650 battery on full beam for over four hours which was impressive. It’ll take three AA’s, one 18650 or one 22650. Good torch.
I use this with my dslr camera for my ghost hunting night vlogs outdoors & it totally lights everything up Even in vast open spaces I get decent quality video even when theres no other light Top marks I would highly recommend 🙂
Good general household torch. Only slightly annoying feature is that each time you click the power button it cycles through one of three settings so when you turn it on it might be flashing or on the lower lux setting.
We needed a good quality, strong beam torch for taking our Dog for walks late at night. This is perfect and much better than our previous one. A really good strong beam, easy to hold in the hand, good grip but not over heavy. For the money it is a quality torch, I recommend it.
It takes 18650, 26650 or three AA batteries. I use mine with AA batteries as I don’t have any of the other two.
Very pleased with the brightness. It has two different level of brightness and one strobing mode. Light press the button to switch between them or press hard to turn on or off.
For its size, it looks heavy but it is lighter than expected.
However this torch is heavy, the light beam wont reach the roofs of the houses at the bottom of my garden and across their gardens. You have to use both hands to move the bean in and out, difficult to stow in pockets or pouches for ease. Other words for the price you pay one would expect a better product with a great beam. There for all I can say is if you want a torch don’t bother with this one.
Let’s hope it lasts a long time!

This is the best torch I have ever had. It may be heavier than you would expect, but it puts out a serious beam even on the widest setting. I cannot say how long the three AA batteries will last – perhaps best to use a high powered battery so you are not having so replace too often. A cracke

Bright enough to blind in daylight, compact enough to fit in a coat pocket and sturdy enough to bash some idiot in the face while blinding them with the item.

I have seen and used many similar torches but this one is the best performer and the best value. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and it certainly equals the USA military products that are much more expensive.
The torch on first inspection is sturdy, doesn’t look tacky and highly engineered. On inserting the batteries (3 x AA) the battery compartment is sealed with a “O” ring to keep out wet etc.
The torch doesn’t feel overweighed when in use and the mechanism to change from wide beam to narrow beam is sturdy, and not loose.

Staggering. The Wide Beam is awesome from ultra-wide to pin spot. The light shone right down the entire length of the track. For the price and build I would recommend it absolutely.
Arrived today 15/01/2020 This is a bright torch only grumble is my letmy xml t6 is just as good for a fraction of the price and comes with 24months warranty hassle free replacement so I could have saved some money thats why I gave 4 stars need to do some more testing of how far the beam of light will go I will update this review
Bought as a gift for my partner. He loves it as so bright and long distance beam…I could hardly get him in from the garden on Christmas day as he was trying it out so much in the garden! Very good quality and a great gift!
Ideal size and find the on/off switch fitted on the bottom of the handle ideal. It gives of an excellant light and I find the beam spread really good. I certianly have no hesitation in recommending as I am sure it will last for many years.
After a 10 minute “work out” it was put carefully in my car in easily accessible place, ready for quick access if need arises.
I check it now and again to ensure it is still ready for use

The torch is sturdy, bright and the range and size of beam can be adjusted by twisting and extending the body, which is a good feature. The fact that it can be used with both rechargeable or AA batteries makes it ideal for camping trips
The best thing about this torch is that it’s bomb proof. It looks as though you could drive a tank over it and it would still emerge intact. Not quite as bright as my rechargeable lantern but that’s much bigger and quite flimsy. A good piece of kit and well worth the money.
We have a long garden at the back and the sheds are at the top of it including the log shed.. This torch is exactly what I was looking for to got to the top of the garden on dark nights. I can step out of the back door and the torch illuminates the garden write to the top! It has a couple of functions for spot and for a wider beam. It isn’t heavy and it has a strap so you can put it round your hand. In the past we have had magnum torches but this little torch outdoes them! Can recommend without hesitation.
The zoom is realy good for seeing at a distance as its a tight beem of light.
The flood is good to to light up a big erea as long as its only a few feet away.

Great bit of kit has been excellent so far. Very solid construction and has a quality feel to it. The torch is extremely bright and the beam goes a very long way in ‘zoomed in’ mode. I ordered a 26650 battery when I ordered the torch which I now think was a mistake. I used three rechargeable AA batteries while I was waiting for the 26650 to arrive direct from China and the AA’s were fine for my usage.

A very handy compact torch, I needed something to light up my garden when I let my dog out a PIR light was no good as surrounding trees would set the light off so I bought this torch & so glad I did, on full beam it lights up the whole garden, there’s several settings so all in all does everything it says
It’s a good piece of kit I use it to check engines for leaks or to find any damages. I like the fact that it is sturdy allowing to have a good grip light is good too. The only thing thing it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery I mean as a lithium battery.
This torch has a wide range of focus which is easily altered, from a small intense bright light to much larger area that is well lit.Ideal for using in the garden at night.To my mind this is not a lightweight torch but it feels good in your hand and does not feel heavy.So far I would say this is a good buy, and providing the batteries don’t run out to quickly I believe will prove to be an excellent buy.
This is a very bright torch for the money, unfortunately you cannot narrow the beam and it doesn’t like high powered rechargeable batteries, I had to resort to using Duracell. Am also surprised by how heavy it is, feels very robust, will be interesting to see how long the bulb lasts. For the money a very good torch and worth buying
This torch is as good as my Lens Laser torch which cost more than 3 times as much. It’s very bright, not too heavy. It has a great feature for helping defend against potential assailants at night – it has a very bright strobing light function which would deter attackers as well entertain the kids when shined into the night sky
Only given 4 stars as some of the black paint on edges was off on arrival . But not bad enough to return it.

It can also take a single 18650 battery that it dose NOT state on box or in description!
As you get the sleeve adaptor in the box as well as the AA battery adapter and the 26650 battery sleeve adapter .

Comes in a nice box, good presentation and easy to use. Recommend to add a little grease to the threads on the battery housing as they could thread easily. I am not convinced that it is meeting the lumen rating, but certainly for the price and using AA batteries it gives off a good light.
It’s easy to open up the light or focus in for a brighter light on something smaller. Just push the end of the barrel away from or back towards you.
The torch has a good solid heavy feel to it without being too big or bulky and will just fit in my jacket pocket to walk the dog at night……and in the the well of the car door or the central console.
All in all I’m very pleased with it.
