I particularly liked this machine as you had the windows to see inside rather than having to open the drawers. Great item, easy to use, does exactly what it says on the tin!! Heats up quickly, still experimenting with it. Very pleased with it.
I read lots of reviews before buying as I was looking at more expensive brands but thought I would take a chance on this one. I have been using for over a month and I can’t fault it – seems to be good quality and cooks perfectly! Glad I didnt spend more on another brand.
The fryer is okay but the drawers are not as big as the pictures shows. In fact they are quite small and do not seem to hold as much as shown.
Handy having two compartments with separate control but can sink to finish together. Getting used to using instead of main oven, so far things have come out great. Nice to have a three year warranty as well as necessary baskets in each compartment for cooking. Good value for money.
I bought this to replace the single rack version of this and it’s great. I like that you can have different things in different baskets and trays at diff temps and not like the drawer ones as you have shelves and can get more in.
Works well but i wish the baskets were bigger, For how big the actual air fryer is ot comes with 2 small baskets. Cooks effecently, I love the match cooking button.
Good product, touch screen is a bit fiddly, getting used to using it, successfully cooked a number of foods. Need to perfect timings. Smart cook is great so everything finishes at same time. Can’t complain does what it says it can do.
The drawers which are meant to be non-stick failed early and the trays that sit inside the drawers did too. I contacted the supplier but they would not help. The 12 month warrantee had jut run out by 4 weeks and they do not have spares and won’t for the foreseeable future. The drawers on the Vision system are useless too. Very difficult to clean. If you are buying, get the one without the glass fronted drawers. Not happy with this product or the help from Tower. Next air fryer will not be a Tower one.
Really happy with this Airfryer. Good size dual baskets. Not sure it would feed 8 people as the shelf doesn’t stay in place very well. However, cooks food evenly & quickly. Not too bulky for a Kitchen side. Overall impressed!
My old tower single basket airfryer stopped working so I decided to upgrade to a double basket & went with this model as it was a good price. I wasn’t expecting it to be just as big & have had to rearrange kitchen worktops to keep it on. It would be heavy to lift in & out of a cupboard if you had space. So far pleased with the product just getting used to the settings. Only thing I’ve noticed is sometimes when using it sets off my smoke detector? I have to open kitchen window
Got this as a Christmas present and find it’s great for roasting veggies and meat. However, it became apparent that drawer 1 was not cooking at the same temp/speed as drawer 2. I tried it on Match Cook with multiple things – best example was a chicken drumstick in each drawer, but didn’t take a photo. It was very obvious that drawer 2 the food was done faster. Tried on dehydrate too for kale crisps and you’ll just about see that right hand side is way ahead of the posse! So I contacted Tower as I’d registered the guarantee, but they referred me back to Amazon who sent me out returns labels. I will buy it again though.
My wife is a chef and like all of us we are looking to save money on energy bills.
As a large family we bought this hoping it would save money and maybe enable us to look at healthy recipes.
We have used these for over 4 months now and all I can say is ‘Wow’, much lower energy bills compared to our oven and the versatility and food recipes we can use in this a superb. We eat healthier and even my daughter who hated cooking is producing cakes and assorted family meals.
The programmes are easy to understand and cleaning is very easy.
Compared to some of the other ‘recommended’ air fryers this has to be rated number 1 and would recommend to anyone looking for an air fryer which is a good allrounder for larger families.
This is the second air fryer we bought. Our first one was just one big drawer but having two drawers is a game changer!
It is so easy to use and easy to clean. I bought the silicone liners and this has made the cleaning even easier.
I love that I can cook two different things at the same time. It has definitely made things faster and easier in my kitchen.
I love the digital screen, and the book that helps guide you on how to cook certain foods.
It isn’t too loud when on and the beeping when it’s finished is not annoying.
Definitely recommend!
Instruction manual is pathetic and you needs binoculars to read it – very poor very few basic cooking tips and the Tower book supposed to accompany the fryer is just full of fancy recipes very few people will use. No real clear advice on how to use the functions you need to trial and error – frustrating
I like the size of the drawers on the air fryer as it allows me to either cook the same thing in both with the match cook, or different things but they can be set to finish at the same time.
My main issue with it is that you have to do the presets and then change them to the time or temperature to what you want it seems. Either that or I’ve not found another way to do it.
Otherwise you just use the presets to cook what you are cooking which saves having to set the temperature and time.
Cleans really well and easy to assemble.
This dryer was going very cheaply in a Black Friday sale and I liked the idea of different size baskets. (I did discover Lakeland sell an identical model with their brand but about 20 more than I paid – but with their 3-year no-quibble guarantee.) Construction is better than I hoped and feels solid. It doesn’t get very hot in use and is much quieter than my friends’ units. The small basket is just right for chips for two or for some veggies while cooking fish or chicken in the big basket. I bought some small silicone cake tins which fit the big basket and baking a cake (and scones) worked OK. I also got square silicone inserts when at Lakeland which fit really well and keep the cleaning to a minimum. I’m still learning how to use it to best effect but so far I’m very pleased.
I purchased the dual oven after lots of research and consideration of what I would find most useful. I love that the machine has two ovens that can be controlled separately, the sync finish is invaluable, meals are cooked to perfection in on average 2/3rds of the time they would take in my conventional oven, it easily fits enough food to feed a family of four, or three adults, and being able to control the light and check on the foods progress makes it super easy to keep an eye on it. The machine is very easy to clean, and I have had no need for any other racks, tins or trays. It is well made and feels very sturdy, and after a couple of months of near daily use it is still as new, and because of all of these things I am still happy with my purchase. However the machine can be a little temperamental. It requires a lot of ventilation space, so I wouldn’t recommend it if needing it to fit in a tight space where room to “let it breathe” would be an issue. At times, even with a lot of room it’ll still shut down with an error code coming up. This is easily sorted by opening the oven doors for a few seconds, but is still a nuisance while you’re trying to cook. On the whole, I am very happy with this little piece of time saving awesomeness, but when the time comes to replace it I will look for something a little less moody.
This is the second airfryer we’ve had. It’s OK but the control panel is over complicated and fussy. It doesn’t cook food as quickly as our previous air fryer. It takes longer to cook. OK but not the best.
I initially bought this with the idea that it would save me money on my electricity bills because traditionally I use my fan oven quite a lot (ie every day). However, I have started with the simple stuff, ie frozen oven fish & chips (yummy), heating croissants etc and I have to say, so far, it has exceeded my expectations. It is easy to use the preset buttons, but equally easy to adjust those presets to your own requirements. It is quite quiet and the alarm is loud enough but not too loud. I am more than happy with this air fryer and I am sure that the more proficient I become, it will be more enjoyable and economical. Love it!!!
The Tower Air Fryer is a well built item of kit no problem, unfortunately the person who wrote the instruction book was not the greatest at this task and difficult to follow! There are too many people who have written reviews on this Fryer and they complain bitterly about “Instruction” perhaps Tower might look at this! Apparently the best instruction for the this Fryer is on Y Tube
The first meal I cooked was chicken breast in one side and halved baby potatoes in the other. I used the smart finish function and the meal turned out perfectly! I don’t know WHAT some of the one star reviewers are talking about! Burns food? Nonsense. I can only assume that those who experience this are not bothering to take the time to read the instructions and get to know the various settings. As for it being difficult to clean – rubbish! Just wash the pans as you would any other type of pan. I have no hesitation in recommending this air fryer. Just take the time to get to know it. Of course there are going to be some failures along the way – but you get that with any cooking method you use. I’m really glad I went for this model.
I love this air fry and would recomend to anyone. Even as a novice to air fryers, I found this Tower vortx really easy to come to terms with. In fact I now use this rather than my oven.
It’s fab first air fryer its big and does loads of things has two drawers but can sync your cooking would highly recommend this cooks really quick and the stuff comes out tasting lush easy to clean don’t have any down side great for the money
We are a lover of chips and wedges and so this resource gives us what we were looking for. However, I am disappointed that the range for cooking suggested by other brands as their selling point, is not made more of a focus. I am struggling with working individual temperatures and timing but probably need to read the instructions again. Hubby resists using it – ‘it’s like flying a jumbo’ he says. I also wish the trays were deeper and could carry more quantity. So far it’s OK – but when I have more time to cook I may be looking to upgrade.
First air fryer arrived badly damaged (looked like it had been dropped) Amazon customer services were excellent in arranging replacement for me which arrived before lunchtime next day. The air fryer looks good and seems easy to use. Tried cooking bacon first and can’t believe how this turned out on first attempt FANTASTIC. Don’t hesitate to purchase GREAT BUY
I was a bit duvious about using air fryer, but I brought this one and am so happy that I did.
I’m so impressed on the cooking time that it saves me,when I do Sunday roast I’m normally cooking for 90 minutes, but using the air fryer it only took 45 minutes, i also used it to do my frozen oven chips and it only took 16 minutes, and they were cooked really well.
So I’m very pleased with it and I would highly recommend this air fryer.
This is my 3rd Air Fryer and ‘so far’ it appears to be very good. On par with the much more expensive competitors model. Which a friend has. I never usually give 5 stars as there is always a chance of some improvement. But there is no facility to rate this item 4.5 Stars. I will recommend produce.
we believe it has revolutionised the various different foods that we like to provide our palates with on our culinary journey through the world of foods and flavours. On some occasions both me and my wife stand at a slight distance just to admire the pure brilliance of this device and sleek sexy look.
In a nut shell we love it and it’s now a member of our family
I finally caved and bought an Air Fryer. Don’t regret it one bit! So much simpler and quicker than using an oven. The baskets are the perfect size and having the two means you can easily cook 2 different things at once. There’s loads of preset options which makes things a lot quicker.
Have marked down 1 star as it was a little complicated to use at first and the instructions weren’t the best.
Tip: if you want to set your own temperature/time turn the air fryer, press either 1 or 2 (depending on the basket you want to use, select a preset option and then press the up or down arrows on the left to change the temp and on the right to change the time!
This was bought to replace a Tefal Actifry. The quality of the Tower is so much better than the Tefal, and it’s much easier to clean than the Tefal.
Having 2 drawers and a function to get food with different times to finish together is so useful. The over simplified instructions are a little confusing. Being able to set different temperatures is another big improvement over the Tefal. At 9 litres capacity (2 x 4.5 litre trays), it’s pretty hefty, but it can cope with a sizeable amount of food.
Note though that some of the temperatures on the pre-select controls can be too high – it’s a case of trying a few foods and see what gives the results you wa
Arrived within 2 days free delivery. Packaging looked a bit previously opened but product inside looked fine.
The instructions are ok and not as bad as some reviews say, however there are YouTube videos available, which I watched.
A really nice looking fryer and has a quality feel about build.
Decided to try fish and chips first using the preset buttons and smart finish. Chips were perfection but frozen fish had not cooked in middle. So preset must be for fresh fish. It’s going to be a learning process obviously.
A twin drawer air fryer of this quality for 99 is a bargin, don’t spend 100’s on a Ninja for name only. This one is grea
I never thought I would get an air fryer but was impressed with the size, style and looks of this one. The preset programmes are good and you can also change times and temperatures within those programmes as well as using your own times and temperatures outside the pre-sets.
The baskets can be set independently of each other which is great for cooking different goods at the same time.
Chips will never be the same as if cooked in oil nut results are still impressive. You need to experiment until you get a result you are happy with.
Early days yet and still lots of foods to try out but I am really impressed with this air fryer. The added bonuses…. use much less oil so healthier cooking, some items cook much quicker without spoiling and there’s no mess with oily, greasy worktops and cables. An excellent product at good price.
This was bought as a replacement for a single-drawer air fryer that had aged badly and was becoming hard to clean. I do not regret this purchase – the Tower T17088 was an excellent choice. With two drawers, it expanded the ability to cook larger portions for more people or to cook at two different temperatures. It’s fairly easy to use – it does take a little getting used to the process, but once you have the hang of it, it’s quick and easy to get going.
The fully non-stick drawers work brilliantly, being easy to clean off – unlike the wire basket of our previous Air Fryer. Easy to put the base plates in the dishwasher and clean off the drawers every time.
It’s a hot and fast fryer, too. We were used to our more sedate version, and it’s easy to burn food when you have that expectation. You have to adjust to the cooking times being shorter, and the fryer being hotter. When you do, the food comes out better than ever. Best chips I’ve cooked at home in a long long time.
Using both drawers is quite an energy pull, though with the faster cook time, it’s still a saver over using the oven. Single draw uses about half that energy, and is definitely an economy choice vs oven cooking.
Each of the drawers is roomy enough that you can cook for one, or just at a pinch two people. Using both drawers together, two people have plenty of cooking space and you can manage three meals comfortably, or as tight squeeze four meals at once.
Great product. Highly recommended.
If you have not used this type of device before, they are a lot more than a fryer, they are actually an oven. They have been around for over 30 years, it is only recent tech advances and cost of energy and cost of oil which have made these trendy. They are esseentially a high power fan type oven.
They cook a lot quicker than a conventional oven because its a small space to heat and the fan creates a lot of air flow. You can also reduce the amt of oil you use.
For example, roast potatoes cook, depending on how large you cut them from 10 to 20 mins. Which is a big saving on the electric. When you by an air fryer, buy an oil sprayer as you will often use a few pumps of oil. This makes things crispy. I brought one from Amazon. When you do buy a spray make sure it is for oil, I wated money on a few which could not handle veg oil.
This actual device, has some great features, it has lots of presets which are useful guides, like other devices of this kind, I own 2 air fryer ovens, this bin style and one which is more like a normal oven and has a rotisery.
This has 2 advanced options which is match cooking, used when cooking things which need the same time and temp in both bins. Also match finish. You set the temp and time for each bin, and press this button they will finish cooking at the same time, which is really handy.
Something else about a bin style fryer, you need to take the tray out and give it a shake from time to time, which you may think is a pain. In reality its not. The cooking time is so much shorter than a normal oven its no big deal to pull out the tray and shake it. Im normally preparing and cooking other parts of the meal whilst the oven is cooking so Im in the kitchen anyway.
The build quality feels good, I did look around in shops before buying some of the cheaper ones do not feel they will last very long. This one feels good.
Something else to check is the quality of the non stick. That is key, according to a CH4 documentory I watched about air fryers. They did a test on many models and this one rated very highly. On the cheaper ones the non stick often peels off after only a short time and use. This one looks to have a good quality of non stick, thats by observation and what the test said in the documentory.
The cheapers are ok, but think about how long you want them to last and how often you use them. The mid price may be better value for money.
Another thing about air fryers is they cook so quickly and are so easy to use, I find my self using it a lot more than I would have ever used a normal oven. In many ways its taking over from the microwave. Especially when reheating things, i.e. left over pizza comes out nice and cruncy rather than the limp slice when heated in a mirco wave.
This has a preheat button which is excellent and further reduces cooking time and makes the food cook better. Preheating a normal oven is always a good idea but takes in mine, 10 mins. This air oven preheats up to 180C in 3 mins which is a lot more convienient and costs a lot less.
I cannot stress enough but the reduced cooking times and the money you save on oil and elec.
When cooking normally you would use a good glug of oil for roast veg, in this fryer a few pumps of the spray is all you need. Which also means its better for your health.
I did look at the ninja in a real shop and compared the 2. The ninja you appear to be paying a lot for the name. The quality did not feel as good as this device.
I would also reccomend, buying some liner trays, again I brough them on Amazon they are made from a type of paper and makes cleaning very easy. Ive been warned not to use normal baking or waxed paper in an air fryer as it may fly up in the air flow and is a fire risk. This warning applies to all air ovens/fryers.
I also brought a wire rack on Amazon which lets be double decker things. The one I brought was around 14 is has a stand frame and also a 2nd frame with 4 skewers. It works well for kebabs etc.
Overall this is a great device and is priced well for what it is. As I said I did look at some which cost a lot more and decided on this one.
This product is really good, it’s easy to use and clean would definitely recommend to others to buy also good value for the money compared too ok other brands in the marke
We didn’t use the item. But had friends who had recommended.
Once we got it we realised that we were not able to put a whole chicken in it. Even tho overall size was double our previous corsoi one.
Simple to use and more versatile than expected, from chips to lasagne and small pizza and for added bonus cooks quickly and can use either side or both with different timings. Much much better than I expected.
I like Tower brand for quality at a great price. Bought this as a change to cooking in the oven and it cooks food really well. The function where you can cook separate foods to finish at the same time is great.
Compact and quick but certain things like chips it can’t cook through. Good at bacon, goujons etc
I wasn’t sure about buying this as I wanted the ninja 1 and wasn’t sure I would use it to justify the price . we have used it every day and so glad we bought it . you can cook alsorts in it . love the 2 different sides so you can cook completely different things . The only negative thing I have is you cant buy the little baskets so you could cook 2 lots in each side
I was sceptical about getting an air fryer but decided to go ahead as my family and friends were really impressed with theirs. I have to say that I am really pleased with this model and have used it most days since purchasing it. The double drawers make it really versatile and it cooks food very well. It’s simple to use, easy to clean and cheaper to run than my double oven. Overall, it seems like a great buy.
I had to youtube to see how to work it .
Symbols are small and not very bright but do flash when clicked.
Ive not used the smart setting yet as ill have to youtube it.
Once you get use to how it works its easy.
I keep book near by for symbols as they are small and book says whats what.Besides all that i love this dual airfryer and it cooks food lovely .So far ive done chips chicken sausages yorkshire roast and jacket potatoes. All turned out great and tasty.its alot cheaper than its competitor and worth buying.Just youtube how to use instead of scratching your head.
Tower should also do a video on there product on how to use it .Im sure it would push there sales up ,just saying.
Whats next talking airfryers ?
Overall happy with my purchase, was trying to source the Ninja AF400UK, Dual 9.5 Litre without success
Energy Consumption:
1700 Watts, therefore electricity consumption at the current Ofgem / Gov energy price guarantee rate average of 0.34 kWh (Dec 2022) = 0.58 per hour
Which is forecast to increase by 20% in April 2023, therefore 0.41 kWh = 0.70 per hour from April 2023
Tower T17088 9 Litres Dual, 2600 watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.88 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.07 per hour
Tower T17100, 9 Litres Dual, 2600 watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.88 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.07 per hour
Ninja AF400UK, 9.5 Litres Dual, 2470 Watts, therefore going by the same rates = 0.84 per hour and from April 2023 = 1.01 per hour
Monthly Comparison using the Tower T17099 as the base price:
If using the Tower T17088 / T17100 for an average of 1 hour per day, taking 30 days in the month = 9.00 per month premium, April 2023 = 11.10 per month premium
If using the Ninja AF400UK for an average of 1 hour per day, taking 30 days in the month = 7.80 per month premium, April 2023 = 9.30 per month premium
Size:
Large basket: 5.2 Litres: 22cm x 18.5cm
Small basket: 3.3 Litres: 22cm x 11.5cm
Positive Points:
Large basket, probably the largest basket size of the dual air fryers available, good size for cooking a whole chicken, the one in the photo was 2.072kg labelled as extra large, 280mm (11″) part baked whole baguette also fits in the large basket
Whole 2kg extra large roast chicken and roasties in the small basket suitable for 4 adults, 200 degrees for 1 hour
Able to Sync / Smart finish the timing of both baskets
It’s reasonably quite, I have tried to catch the sound on the video uploaded
Warranty:
3 Year Warranty, when you register on the Tower website (Tower Housewares)
Ninja AF400UK: 1 year warranty
Negative Points:
Chips in the small basket take Approx 45 mins
Temperature maximum of 200 degrees, unlike the Ninja AF400UK 9.5 which has a maximum of 240 degrees
Cannot put the grill plates & baskets in a dishwasher (not sure if you can with other manufacturers)
Accessories such as silicone liners & racks suitable for the size of baskets are hard to find (well almost suitable fit going by the small basket silicone liner photo) – I would also advise my experience of using the silicone liner is, that it adds to the cooking time, therefore I only use for food products that produce a lot of juices / fat, so you can wash it out & put it in the dishwasher
Capacity, Dimensions & Weight:
The weight and dimensions are incorrect under Product details:
Capacity: 8.5 Litres (total)
Dimensions: Height: 310mm , Width: 420mm, Depth: 360mm (from the User Manual)
Dimensions: Height: 310mm, Width: 395mm, Depth: 340mm (when actually measured)
Weight: 7.75kg (from the User Manual)
I also considered the following 2 prior to purchasing the Tower T17099:
Lakeland Dual Air Fryer, Model 26920 and the QVC, Cook’s Essential Dual 7.7 Litre, which look near on identical to this one (but claims to be 9 Litre with Lakeland and 7.7 litre with the QVC Cook’s Essentials, strange that that calculate the volumes differently! ), likely to have them manufactured by the same provider somewhere in Asia and all 3 rebrand, however no Sync / Smart option going by the reviews on the Lakeland and QVC options
Used this for roast chicken, chips, roasted veg. All came out good.
It’s so quick and your food does in no time saves on electricity
I went from the tefal actifry xl to this one. I first thought Will I miss that turning bit in the middle of the actifry as these are just deep draws me it’s no turning but no I don’t infact I prefer this one now. I’ve used it a few times and I like the fact you can cook 2 things at once in nice size draws. I’ve cooked sausage in one bacon in other. Chips in one side and then fish fingers in the other. Done burgers also . It’s ideal especially for my fussy child who tends to want something different for tea I’ll pop ours in one side and hers in the other. Cooking times to match so we all eat together 🙂 it’s really quiet too! I was surprised by how quiet it is. Also it’s super easy to clean seems v non stick. Going to get the book out soon and have read up , as I’m not sure how to add time while it’s cooking.
I hardly use my oven now, great piece of kit.
Absolutely brilliant. Cooks tea in no time and taste is bette
Wasn’t sure about getting a air fryer but we are so glad we did ! Saved on cooking time and energy , we’ve hardly used the oven since the air fryer came! Very easy to clean we brought some liners so that help with the cleaning .
Air fryers are just awesome, this twin one is twice as good!! it cooks food perfectly and the ability to have two different items both finish at the same time is amazing, i would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
My 2nd air fryer, and this one is tops. 3 mesh trays to put your food on, and also a rotisserie for chickens up to 1.4 kg. Easy to clean and idiot proof preset food options
I have to say this airfryer is perfect. I don’t have any negative comments. We are family of 4 and most of the time I cook food in 1 batch.
I use this airfryer 3 – 4 times a week for main meal and every morning to make breakfast (cooked sandwiches are the best!)
Very easy to clean and vmsuoer easy to use.
I have bought some extras, such as skewers, tray for the cake etc.
Love it. Use it every day. It’s very easy to clean. Only one thing wrong with it is they not enough room between the shelf’s .
It does the job just as good as the ninja
he item looks really good but is too much for a couple suitable for a family of 4
Very easy to use and so economical by comparison to using a standard oven.
Use this now for most things from joints of beef to tinned Roe,, wished I’d av bought one earlie
All good, easy to clean & operate. Use it for everyday cooking.
A good sturdy item which we are looking forward to using on a regular basis
I add a touch of oil or water to keep potatoes fluffy, or fish or meats moist, certainly a must have tool in any kitche
Good for fish, but to small for the small chicken bought in a supermarke
Is a nice device but will take a lot of trial and error before I am used to it and what it is capable of. Keep the instructions handy, and use them at the start.
This is a great oven when used within its limitations. The first being that the heat must be able to circulate to be effective, so if you’re mainly cooking for two at most then the rotisserie is fine as a medium chicken is all your need, but it will fit up to 20cm so a 2 litre casserole dish fits and is sufficient for a stew or curry for four if boiling the spuds or rice. The results are excellent. I have also baked several cakes and sponges, but would advise adding 20 minutes to the cake setting and preheating the oven as per standard procedure. For myself the best part is it fits my 4lb loaf tin so I can bake a family sized loaf easily and again adding 20 or so extra minutes to preheat this oven will give you great results. Very pleased indeed.
I’ve owned a number of these ovens as I just love the rotisserie function as well as it’s other options having a 14 litre capacity makes this model a plus, it’s more economical than using the main oven. if there’s just one or two to cook for this is a must highly recommend. This is a genuine review as I’ve used this now for the past 6 weeks
Excellent small oven & rotisserie cooks food so fast because of heating elements top & bottom I have no need of my full size oven now.
Bought after last tower air fryer broke = This is alot bigger – Love I
bought this air fryer because my oven broke, now I have my oven fixed I still use the air fryer. it is much better than my oven and lot faster at cooking. Now my son wants one for Christmas present for him and his wife. best thing ever I love it, would not go back to using my oven unless I need to cook something big that wont fit in the air fryer save time and money buy a Tower T17051BLK Vortex XL 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven with Rapid Air Circulation, 14.5 Litre you wont be sorry very happy customer.
THANK YOU TOWER
Love the capacity. Cooks good food is cooked through & crispy but may have to turn food 3/4 way through for best results. Spaces on trays not big enough. Remove any trays not loaded when cooking. Takes a while to work out what settings work best for non specified foods & note what times work best for you for non regular stuff you cook. Reduce suggested cooking times by a couple of minutes for best results. Vents allow thin cloud of smoke out so open window & shut door or fire alarm goes off. Not as easy to clean as they make out. Drip tray not coated enough bubbles & peels but difficult to replace due to lower heating rods.
brilliant oven for small items like individual pies. The rotisserie feature is brilliant.
I love this since I’ve got it haven’t use my oven at all and I’ve done all my roast dinners on the spit roast and they have been delicious this is a brilliant produc
Great product, works well, easy to clean the trays in the dishwasher.
Just be aware you might need to swap trays halfway through cooking as there can be differences between bottom, middle and top trays. Also some recipes need to be adapted to work in air dryers, for us we had to spend some time testing various ways to do chicken wings as our deep fat fryer way wasnt really working in the air fryer. Numerous resources on Youtube to help adapt but you do need to spend the time relearning in some recipe cases.
Took a while to fully understand but it has plenty of scope to cook many different things.
My family and I like the occasional fried food, but deep fryers seemed so wasteful to me and dirty as well. We don’t like to fry our food in oceans of oil either.
At first, I was skeptical about air fryers – I just didn’t believe you can fry anything without using lots of oil.
I never expected to love this Tower air fryer!
So easy to use that once I did my first item in it, I haven’t looked at the manual since. You pick it up pretty quick – preheat, put the food in, set the timer and then give it a little shake a couple of times during the cooking time. Fries come out golden brown and crisp outside, white and fluffy inside completely free of oil. My kids love them! And I don’t feel guilty feeding them with fries anymore – they are not oily!
It’s also faster than the normal oven and more efficient too.
It is great not just for fries, but all kinds of fried food. I’ve used it to warm up take out egg rolls and they come out like fresh ones. I’ve cooked sausages and hot dogs in mine and they taste as they came off a grill! Hamburgers too!
Cleaning is so easy that you find yourself using it a lot more often. We are using it at least once a week. No more scrubbing the hub and tiles around.
Definitely recommended !
Amazing product. Haven’t had to put my main oven on now for over a month due to using this oven every meal, for everything. The best things are jacket potatoes which are the best I’ve tasted (microwave first then put in oven on preset baked potato ) . I also did an amazing roast pork with crackling on the rotisserie, my meat to be fair is usually tough and chewy but I just put it on the rotisserie and pressed the chicken button which started the rotisserie automatically . Kept checking and added a little extra time as it was a big joint and the crackling was amazing and the meat tender. Couldn’t be more pleased.
For negatives the only thing I think would be handy is some sort of tong to slot on trays to get the trays out safely (I just use my kitchen tongs which work well if what I’m cooking isn’t too heavy).
This Tower Air Fryer Vortx is AMAZING PRODUCT. I am so happy to have it!!!! It is so easy to use, just need to press menu button and choose a program what you want to cook. And very easy to clean. It has large capacity providing 14.5 litres of cooking space. No more oily food. Highly recommend it!!!
So much quicker than using the big oven. We use it everyday.
I just want to start off saying that if you get this air fryer please be very careful with the box it comes in. Do not under any circumstances hold it by the handle. I picked it up via the handle to carry downstairs to the kitchen to set it up, but as soon as I started walking down the stairs, the handle came off and the box went flying and rolling down the stairs. Thankfully the box and foam padding took the brunt of the fall and the air fryer itself was undamaged. Not sure why they stuck a handle on the box when it’s not fit for purpose but whatever, just be careful and hold it from underneath.
The air fryer itself is great, it looks really smart and was easy to sort out and use. It has massive internal capacity and for most dishes it has replaced the oven as the main cooking appliance as it’s cheaper to run and works much faster. It also crisps up the food amazingly well, oven chips taste extra delicious. When using multiple trays you do still have to move them around every now and the to get an even cook but it cooks food really well. I’ve used it for all sorts of foods, it really is so versatile. It is a bit of a pain to clean so you will have to have some patience but overall it’s a good unit.
This is my second air fryer after a truly excellent Air Fryer which I have been using for a couple of months. I really liked that but it is a bit small in size and instead of a single compartment, it has dual compartments, because of which it was not possible to cook larger things in it like a pizza. When I saw this one, it looked really good and perfect for our family.
When it arrived, I was really surprised by the size of it and I had not realised that it would actually be so big. It is even bigger than the integrated oven I already have. It takes up a lot of space on the kitchen counter.
I still have decided to continue using this and in the last couple of weeks, this has been so much helpful in the kitchen. It has loads of useful features which were missing from the other Air Fryer that I have used. I can cook a large pizza inside this air fryer which would not even fit in my oven. This literally blew my mind at first because it was hard to believe.
We have a small family with 2 adults and 2 small kids so the size is perfect for us. The instructions are pretty easy to understand and I have tried all of the different cooking modes available on this like air fry, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate. It has performed quite well in all of these modes and I have really noticed that the cooking required has reduced by almost half than the traditional oven. I am really happy with the way in which it handles the food which normally needs to be deep fried like the chips, etc which I have tried with this and they have all turned out great. Crispy on the outside and soft inside.
It’s better than other air fryer as I can cook multiple items in one go as it has trays inside to support these items at different levels. I have seen that the cooking is pretty even on all levels.
The digital panel is very easy to understand and use. The trays are easy to clean and also dishwasher safe although it would hard to fit these in the dishwasher.
It comes with instruction booklet and recipe book indicating the cooking time required by each category of foods. Overall it’s really an all purpose cooking machine and I am thinking about replacing my integrated oven with this to make some more cupboard space in my kitchen. Great product – 5 Stars
The Tower Air Fryer is fantastic for chicken, fish and chips, pizzas (cut in half and cooked on 2 shelves), lasagne, and most surprisingly it’s perfect for burgers! I use it nearly every day now.
We absolutely love this air fryer and its seriously improved my enjoyment of food, everything we put in it gets cooked to perfection and I am genuinely amazed by it! The air fryer came delivered in a very premium looking and well-presented box along with an oil drip tray, rotisserie fork and handle, three mesh racks, spacing fixture for the rear, and the user guide. The mains cable is approx. 1.2m long.
I have only ever used a normal oven, so I was interested to try this air fryer out and now I cannot stop using it for everything. The way it cooks the food is amazing as everything comes out piping hot and very evenly cooked, if you have food like pasties they come out in one piece rather than being all squishy and oozing, thanks to the bottom heating only option pies comes out with the most delicate and perfectly cooked pastry, fish cooks so succulently and I love the way it cooks the batter, and bacon doesn’t shrivel up or go hard in places.
Depending on the portion size the auto cook mode works great for some foods like bacon, fish, pizza, and steak. If I don’t use this mode then I normally take about 25% off the cooking time and reduce the heat a bit according to the label as this air fryer cooks things a lot faster than a traditional oven to the point where its actually saving me a considerable amount of money from my electricity bill as I’m cooking all the time, and this is one of my favourite things about it; speed and money saving!
The whole unit is well made and high quality, the noise level it emits is very acceptable, and its easy to clean with most of the surfaces inside being flat and smooth. The display lights and LED’s are very bright and its hard to see the text when you’re in a dark room, and the beeps it makes when its finished cooking are too quiet but these are minor things as it’s hard to find anything I don’t like about this oven.
I could waffle on an awful lot about this air fryer, its truly brilliant and I really could not be without now, I wish I had looked into one a lot sooner. Its worth every penny in my opinion and it can really save you some money on your bills. It’s a 100% easy recommendation from me and if you have not owned an air fryer like this before then I highly recommend you try one, I’m so confident you will love it! I have always been a fan of Tower products and this is another great product from them and deserving of the full five stars!
I have been using this Tower oven and mini fryer duo daily for the last 2 weeks. I honestly have mixed feelings and thoughts, and in this review I will cover my experiences and what I feel needs to be improved in order for this Tower product to hit a 5 star review.
Let me start off with what I liked. Firstly, this product offers a wide range of functionality, from cooking, air frying and even rotisserie, which for 180 (currently) is great! I also love the various preset settings as if you’re a cooking newbie like me, it removes the element of risk when cooking as well as automating your busy life. I did various things from your English breakfast to cookies. In about 10 minutes on the cookie preset setting I was able to cook two trays to perfection. The cookies was crispy on the outsides but light, fluffy and gooey in the inside! 🙂
I would say though, that this product is more suitable for cooking for 1-2 people, rather than a family simply just to the capacity being rather compact and limited. If you’re after one for the whole family of let’s say 3-5 people, the larger 22L option would probably be tailored more for you and your family.
Now for the things I didn’t like so much. Firstly, the aesthetics of the product is very odd, and at first I thought I ordered a mini washing machine. Regardless, the touch interface was responsive, however trying to select a specific preset option wasn’t as quick and convenient as I would’ve hoped as it required me tapping away at the ‘menu’ button several times before finally getting to the preset that I wanted. I am also a little confused to why a frying bucket and/or baking tray was included that would perfectly fit into the product. This would mean purchasing additional accessories to be able to fully utilise the product…
The instruction manual that came with the product was great, featuring what settings you would need to cook certain fresh/frozen produce, however, I feel that it lacks some substance such as more Recipes and possibly even an online community (that can be joined via a QR code) where other Tower users could submit and share their recipes.
Overall this product is good, but not great. It performs well however I feel that it could do with some improvements (as explained in this review) in order to make it a 5 star product.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.
Can make a variety of dishes in this and they come out well cooked especially baked food such as pasties and even pizzas are great and evenly cooked as the top heats and the bottom also heats up making sure the food is done all the way through. Love the rotisserie function can fit a small chicken into it and it takes around 40 mins to cook comes out lovely highly reccomend this product.
It seems to be okay, I haven’t cooked much with it yet, just bacon it took about ten minutes, also chicken steaks no complaints there either, I’m looking forward to using the rotisserie on Sunday. The only negative for me is the menu when you are selecting which preset food you want to cook doesn’t light up, what I do is I keep a torch next to the cooker, that’s okay. I am happy with what I have seen so far and I would recommend this cooker to anyone.
This Tower air fryer looks the part and feels premium in a matte black finish. I’ve included a number of photos and a video of it in operation which I hope you find helpful.
You do have to screw on the “air outlet wall spacer guard” before use so you will need a Phillips Screwdriver but that’s it and once in place, and having given it all a wipe down, you are good to start cooking.
The included instructions could do with some pictures as it’s pretty much entirely text but the touch buttons on the oven are great and everything is quite clear and functional.
The door has a good three stage hinge and the glass area and internal light make it easy to see how cooking is going. I have used air fryers before but never one with a rotisserie function so this is what I was desperate to try so I cooked a rotisserie chicken, in fact I cooked two.
Chicken Number One: The first chicken was fractionally too big at around 1.7 Kg whereas the manual says chickens no bigger than 1.4 Kg should be used but I figured “that must be on the conservative side, right?”. Wrong.
Even though I used string to tie the legs and wings to the body, a thigh would touch the top heating element on every rotation causing some smoke and eventually (as the bird was too heavy) the rotisserie action broke! The oven still cooked the now non rotating chicken, and it was very still very tasty, but I had the bad aftertaste of my own stupidity to deal with for desert.
Chicken Number Two: This time round I stuck to a small 1.25 KG chicken and after fixing the rotisserie belt mechanism (do not attempt or it will void any warranty), I tied the wings and legs again and placed the rotisserie bar into position in the oven (it is quite a tight fit and I was worried about scratching the inside of the oven). Power on…. and this time….. perfect rotations!
Honestly the chicken at the end of cooking was so moist and tasty with a lovely crispy skin. Any fat and juices drip into the provided drip tray and I then used that to make a tasty gravy.
To conclude this is a great air fryer and the rotisserie function is fantastic. You definitely do need to stick to small chickens and the overall internal space is quite small but it does come with three mesh trays so you can stack food to cook. I do have a concern that the rotisserie mechanism is a potentially weak point in the air fryer but time will tell. Otherwise I’m really pleased with this.
I really love this product – it’s definitely more than just an air fryer, it’s basically a healthy oven! You can do so many different things in it, and I especially cannot wait to try and roast a chicken in there.
It is really easy to set up and you get three shelves plus a oil tray included. There are so many different preset options including dough, cake, wings etc. You have to pick a preset before you do anything, you cannot just pick a temp and a time which is slightly weird. I love the fact that it is easy to open and that the oven pauses when you open the door.
I have cooked cakes and bread in this so far, with mixed results but as with any oven, practice makes perfect.
This is quite a big air fryer so it takes up a lot of room especially as it has to be at least 10cm away from a wall due to the hot air vents at the back. It is good if you are cooking a lot of food and need a spare oven. Also, it is quite loud compared to normal cookers, but it definitely has many more benefits including the health benefits of less oil!
This is a really versatile mini oven with plenty of features and plus points, and only a handful of minor limitations that aren’t enough to justify giving it less than five stars.
The point I’d want to make first is about the size. On a kitchen worktop it’s got a slightly smaller footprint than a standard microwave, but it’s a little bit taller. It has vents on each side, and it’s important that you leave these vents clear so that the air can circulate around it (there’s a piece of plastic at the back to ensure this happens at the rear). Overall this means it can account for quite a lot of space, and can certainly dominate a small kitchen.
Despite this outer size though, its interior capacity is not as big as is subtly implied by some of the product photos. In the main product photo, they have clearly managed to find one of the smallest chickens they could buy, to make the oven itself look bigger. In truth, a supermarket medium-sized chicken (just about enough to feed our family in one sitting, but with no leftovers), will squeeze into this oven but with no room to spare. It’s too small for a 12″ pizza. You couldn’t feed a full Sunday roast to a large family from this thing- but for a meal like a Christmas dinner, with multiple meats on the go, it’s absolutely ideal as a second oven that you could run at a different temperature or on a different schedule.
It isn’t too heavy either- only as heavy as a microwave, give or take. This means that you can store it away easily between uses if you want to, or if space is tight. It’s too tall to fit in any of our kitchen cupboards though.
While many ovens have black on the inside and silver outside, that’s inverted here. On the outside it makes it look a bit oppressive, but silver inside the oven really shows up how much fat and grease is getting caked onto the side of the device. In a way that’s a great thing, and shows up all the fats and oils that have come out of the food and which aren’t heading for your stomach, but it’s also a pretty ugly thing because it certainly looks less than appealing whilst cooking. Being able to really see the grease does make it easier to clean afterwards though.
Other aspects of the cleaning are very easy too, the interior is nice and simple and the various trays and pans can all be removed and cleaned in the standard ways, in a dishwasher (if it can handle the grease) and so on.
There are no raised edges on the trays, which aren’t proper baking trays. This feels like a little bit of an oversight to me, as it means there are situations where grease or oil can pour off, and it’s important to put the pan at the bottom to collect it all- not always ideal if cooking on multiple levels. The trays that are provided aren’t the kind of trays you would pick up using an oven glove and carry to the table to serve directly from, like I would normally do with something like chips, meaning that you might need to use more trays as a result.
It’s not a sealed oven, and moisture and smoke do end up coming out of the vents, so compared to a regular oven it does end up steaming up your kitchen quite a lot more. If you leave this device cooking and return to your kitchen later on, you can expect steamy windows.
The range of possibilities with this oven is really good, and the number of available presets (combinations of cooking temperature and cooking time) is very convenient, and seems sensible and accurate as well- the “chicken” button does a good medium chicken, consistently cooked through without being crispy. There is even a preset for cake, which I’m looking forward to trying! You can also custom set the temperature and time, as well as controlling the top and bottom elements separately, for whenever the existing presets don’t match what you’re after. Setting these items manually is straightforward enough.
The button panel is a little unusual, because they aren’t ‘real’ buttons and instead you’re pressing on glass. You do have to press a little harder, it’s not like a posh touchscreen, and it takes a few presses to get used to, but with large and clearly marked buttons, there’s no problem with it being difficult to control.
For families that need to keep food warm because of offset eating times due to shift work etc., it is potentially much more convenient than a regular oven thanks to its timer functions. The fact each of the presets has a built-in stop time is a big plus for me. Anyone who’s forgetful or busy, or who’s ever overcooked something because they lost track of time, will appreciate the value of that. You can set it to run for a very long time until you stop it if you choose, but by default it’s a timed run, which is a very good idea.
Whether it’s as a main cooker (in student life maybe), or as a healthier alternative to the big oven (for reducing fat etc.), or as a second oven for bigger cooking jobs (e.g. large families), I think there are a lot of cases where his air fryer would be a really good idea.
This isn’t just and air fryer, but a fully fledged countertop oven. This Christmas it will prove a huge asset, as the sides and trimming no longer have to fight for space in an oven already stressed and bursting at the seams, with the rigours of the holidays and coping with a busy, foodie family.
Though the box that arrived looks massive, I almost fell over in surprise. The oven inside is compact but still able to cope with a huge 14.5 litre load. It’s sitting snugly in the corner, on the kitchen counter, hidden slightly by the Sage stand mixer. It doesn’t stand out too much as we have dark worktops.
* What Can You Get in There?
It can comfortably hold a large 2kg chicken, it won’t hold the seasonal turkey though. A 9 inch pizza isn’t any trouble either. I can bake six bread rolls in there from scratch. There’s three sets of meshed baking sheets. So you will need to invest in some plain sheets for more standard, oven type baking.
* Cleaning:
Though there isn’t a quick way to clean it. You might choose to line the base with an oven proof nonstick liner so that you can swiftly bung it in the dishwasher for a wash. Or find an adequately sized baking sheet. But as this is designed to be an air fryer, there is a fair amount of runoff from the mesh trays and the accompanying rotisserie unit.
The drippings never escape the oven floor though, as long as you clean after each use. Otherwise the scent of the drippings as they’re heated on the oven floor can quickly overpower the room.
Moving onto the rotisserie, this is definitely the star of the show. The dripping fat, as the bird turns, renders the meat as it rotates and keeps it moist and tender. The results are deliciously succulent, which I wouldn’t have expected from an air fryer. It crisps up the skin perfectly too.
A unit im very pleased with owning. It does more than a standard counter top oven. It air fries, thereby, ensuring healthier eating.
5 stars
So when this arrives I thought it would only do rotisserie chicken but it does loads more. Chips. Steak. Jackets. Chips. The list is endless and you can even defrost food in it. It’s quite big and bulky so probably won’t fit in a cupboard but being so versatile you probably could use this daily so have it out on the worktop.
It’s easy to use. Lots of pre set buttons for different foods or manual if you prefer. Cooked a whole chicken in 55 minutes and it tasted amazing.
Not really any negatives apart from the elements are exposed so the chicken sometimes touched it. There manual was basic and had no recipe ideas.
Found it mostly easy to clean. The tray came out. The display was clear so you knew when the food was cooked. No guessing work with the timings. You can see the food through the transparent door. The rotisserie was great. It worked just like the ones you see in the shops.
Brilliant kitchen gadget that does it all.
It is a pleasure cooking with this little versatile and high quality oven. It is little in size that you can easily put on your kitchen counter but offers ample space for cooking.
I made (well actually the oven made) such nice juicy crispy roast chicken and drumsticks. Very easy and fast!
It has many different preset programs for making different foods. You just need to prepare the raw material put them inside select what you’re cooking and voila! Food is ready!
Cleaning is easy!
Offers 3 years warranty which you should register online to activate.
Cooking time is faster than conventional ovens probably because of the vortex technology they have implemented in this oven.
There is a wall spacer that you should install at the back before the first use!
It is a very nice and modern looking machine.
I highly recommend it!
When this arrived I was surprised how big it is, it is brilliant for a family like ourselves as we can manage to cook lots in this. so far we have cooked sausages, sausage rolls, chips, a whole chicken plus roast potatoes and everything has cooked perfectly.
I am not sure why this does not come with a chip basket as I think this would have made it even better, we was lucky to have one from our old power air fry that fits perfectly so if you can manage to find one it is a great addition.
This comes with 3 shelves, drip tray, cage tong and rotisserie fork, all of the dial is touch screen and very easy to use, when cooking the food the light stays on so you can keep an eye on it and the door has a hinge which stops it from just falling down when opening.
I personally think this is a great air fryer as it can be used to cook so many different food’s and there is room to fit quite a lot in.
First impressions are a you receive a very square rather boring looking air fryer, for me it resembled a mini washing machine on top of our kitchen worktop.
However, how it looks is not how it performs.
The air fryer is a very clever oven, it can cook pretty much cook everything, 2kgs Chicken, to poached eggs
Comes with 3 mesh trays and also includes a drip tray
The display is clear and fairly easy to follow, you have presets which are straight forward, select defrost, and it does that, select dehydrate and again it does that.
Cooking takes a little while to get things right, it’s the same as any new oven, a bit of try and error to get the best position in the oven, and how much cooking things need.
We are very chuffed with this, not using it enough at the moment, I’m sure in time our habits will change and it will become something we use all the time.
I had long wanted to try an air fryer, and I did once own a cheaper brand that I found in my local b and m bargains. However, it was really quite bad and was returned with haste. This air fryer however, is on a different level. I was surprised by how big this air fryer is, and also by how great it looks. Straight out of the box, it is ready to use. I plugged it in and some of the brightest white led lights I had ever seen switched on. The menu is easy to navigate and within no time you can start cooking your food. There are options for a wide variety of foods on the light up menu, ranging from French fries to toast. The door of this frier feels as though it is on a hydraulic hinge, and it opens slowly in stages, to prevent you smashing the glass. It really is a superb machine, and it looks great in my kitchen. So far I have used the pre programmed settings to cook French fries, toast bread and also brown an apple crumble. All three of these foods turned out fantastic. The toast was only cooked on one side, but the bread was crunchy, and I was amazed that an air fryer had done it. As for the apple crumble, it turned out just as well, if not better, than ones cooked in my gas cooker. The timings are different however, to timings on a conventional oven. The apple crumble only took 15 minutes rather than the usual half an hour. I think the preprogrammed times on the fryer menu are a little too long for some foods, and you may need to set the time yourself. I googled air fryer recipes, and they gave far more accurate timings. Overall, this Air fryer is brilliant. It looks great, and it works far better than I thought it would. It also comes with three mesh trays, and a rotisserie pole. It has many uses, and it will surely be a mainstay in my kitchen.
Having tried to eat healthier during the lockdown, I wanted to try an air fryer that could allow us to eat healthier versions of our favourites. Then this Tower Vortx became available to try and I couldn’t resist.
I have to say I was shocked at just how big it was upon arrival, I hadn’t even seen the capacity! But this bad boy has a 14+ L capacity which is more than enough for a family and excellent for cooking multiple portions at once. It is a large unit but it has replaced an old fat fryer on our worktop, luckily we had a whole corner free and whilst it is big I don’t think it looks too out of place.
So far I’ve managed to roast a whole chicken (so moist!) and some jacket potatoes along with some BBQ chicken wings and all have managed to cook rather well. It does take some getting used to and a bit of trial/error but when it’s done right, the food is heavenly.
My only gripes so far is that it is a bit of a hassle to clean & I think there should have been a basket included to make chips as I can’t find a Tower one suitable so need to shop around for one that fits.
It does come with 3 racks however which if I’m honest will be a God send come the festive season when I never quite have enough room for all my veg/Yorkshire puddings, it basically doubles up as a little oven so for those pushed on space it could be a good option to cook your everyday items. The best feature is the rotisserie function as the meat cooks evenly and is absolutely delicious.
Unlike most kitchen devices that tend to become a bit of a novelty & put away, I can see myself and my family using this to make healthy meals most days. A bit pricey if you only want a standard air fryer but if you’re looking for that big extra, it’s a great value option.
This made the most crispiest roast chicken the meat was so tender and moist it was so nice, the oven itself is a bit of a blag to clean as the fat bubbled everywhere but no real horrible nooks and crannies to clean in, sprayed anti crease cleaner inside and wiped inside with hot water and cloth, the programme was easy to set and the rotissorie was such a unique pleasure to both watch cooking and to eat the chicken after, the noise from the oven was minimal and the smell was pushed out quite a lot, but tolerable, no fat escaped under the cooker.
Great little oven. I’m in the middle of building work as so have no kitchen as such. I’m really pleased with this and cooks most things great. Sausages bacon pies all come out really well. Pizzas do better in this than in a previous similar oven that I had before this because this has a bottom heating element too which crisps up the base. My previous small oven didn’t have that and the pizza top got done on top before the underneath. I tend to bring the temp down a little to what it suggests on packets of things. I’ve evan mastered fried eggs see pic using a 4 pudding tin get the oil hot then popping in the egg. I make Yorkshire Pudding see pic. I’ve found one thing at a time in there is better than filling all the shelves and the middle or lower shelf is better. It heats up really quick and cooks fast. It’s great if u want a quick pie pizza or sausage or bacon but tie and although I am missing my usual large oven I will still keep this in use when my new kitchen is complete for individual or small items needed quick. It’s easy to clean too. I love it.
Have had this large airfryer for a week now seems to function well but cooking is uneven. The top shelf cooks brown before the other shelves. So to get a even browning I have to rearrange the selves. The instructions manual is poorly produced with only a few recipes. It is not listed on Tower’s web site I think is must be a new product, but I was able to extend the warranty on their web site. I wanted to get a rotary basket but on contacting Tower they told me that they did not have a basket for this airfryer, which is disappointing as many of these larger airfryers on the market come with a basket.
If you are thinking of buying this airfryer look carefully at the price I got it for 100 cheaper on Amazon that another supplier wanted.
So if you are in the market for a large airfryer I would recommend this one.
