Gravity fed hot water system
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is usually low. To give a higher pressure and flow rate from a mixer shower a booster pump can be installed.
Gravity fed hot water system with Booster Pump
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is increased due to the addition of a Booster Pump.
Unvented System
An unvented system has a hot water cylinder that is connected directly to the mains cold water supply and there is no need for a cold water tank in the home. The water is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater. As everything is under the pressure of mains water, the flow rates from taps and showers are much better and a pump is not needed to get a powerful shower. An unvented cylinder can be installed virtually anywhere e.g. in an airing cupboard or garage.
Combination Boiler
A combi – boiler can be located anywhere within the home. More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home.

Only brought this in July 2022 and it sprung a leak. Trying to get intouch with the people that sold it to us. Hopeless

It’s a great looking modern and responsive shower. I’ve bought to replace a 10-year old California Redring.
I was expecting this to be more powerful, infact it’s weaker. Good enough, but wished I’d chosen another.
We love this shower, great water pressure and temp controls. Also looks far more expensive than it is. Really compliments the bathroom.

I have had instant electric showers this is the best.
Make sure the screw misses the plastic film as you screw the front on and also ajust the dial or the water will be tepid.
This was advertised as used but other than not having the original box was like brand new.
Great item just dont like when you switch of it takes few seconds to do so ,so water comes out cold and have to turn shower head away or jump out before freezing water hits you
Bought this shower to replace one that had become faulty having been used twice a day/every other day for 9 years. Old shower was faulty 8pm Sunday, new one fitted by 6pm Monday and as it was a like for like swap it only took me about an hour and a half from start to finish. Can’t understand why people complain about poor flow etc so can only assume they don’t understand that an electric shower has to warm the water ‘on the fly’.
We have had this shower installed for a number of years and have been really pleased with it. It is used regularly and we have had no issues with a lack of heat (and I like a good, hot shower). I would definitely recommend it.
We purchased this to replace one that was 6 years old. Same model. Easy 10 minute installation, everything matched up.
Looks fab, works perfectly. Fitted by local plumber without any issues. Replaced older model Aspirante fitted approximately 15 years ago but needed new holes drilled to fit shower and shower rail.
Brilliant shower, it was also alot cheaper than on the bathroom site’s. We’ve had this one before and it is a really good shower.
Bought to replace the same model 5+ years old.
The shower head as supplied is 3 position. No setting gives you a particularly strong flow. I fitted the older 5 position head head which gives you 2 more concentrated flow positions, which use fewer holes in the head, therefore more pressure. The Triton 5 position is available as an alternative part and can be supplied separately or you could obtain another brand head with fewer holes with research.
Otherwise, good, aesthetically pleasing, straightforward, value for money shower. Recommended.

Bpught this shower when our old one broke. So we fitted it ourselves. I took the old one off and replaced it myself with my husband instructing me ,(he was ill ) it was easy enough to do, I’m deffo no plummer, and I was so.proud I’d done it myself and saved us a few Bob in the process. It works perfectly better than the old one and looks stylish too.

Bought this to replace our old one (same model), our old one had issues from about 2.5 years old, and finally after about 3.5 years it just kept tripping the mains switch. I could find nothing wrong, but decided it was time for a new one. I’m hoping that this time round I might get more than 3.5 years out of it before it fails.
Love it! It looks very expensive. Easy to install, large shower head with different water sprays available. Easy on and off switch. Very pleased.
Bought this shower as we wanted a white one to match our bathroom and this one looks more stylish and modern that most white electric showers. Had it installed professionally so can’t comment on installation but it is very easy to use.

The shower could be a bit more powerful but it’s still pretty decent and does the job. Plus the water pressure in my house isn’t the greatest anyways.
It could have been a bit cheaper but then again there are some very expensive showers our there, so no complaints really.
This unit replaced a 9.5 kw shower of the same make and was a simple change but this unit reforms much better.

Easy to fit to replace an existing broken unit.
Buttons are easy to press and obvious as to what they do (good for house visitors). The dial is a little tough to rotate when wet. The unit in white looks nice, much nicer than the sandstone version we had previously.
It’s been installed for 4 weeks now and we’ve enjoyed using it with out any problems. The plumber fitted it for me as he was fitting the ready of the bathroom but I reckon it could be fitted by most diy’ers.
We really enjoy the one touch operation, as our temperature is already set.

– The included shower head holder bar is a bit small
– The included shower pipe is a bit short
Overall I would recommend it especially at its current price point but once you get it, perhaps consider getting a better separate shower head bar holder as I found the one included a bit too short and for our bathroom we’re used to a much longer holder bar with wider adjustments in height.

Really nice looking shower. We found most electric showers looked old fashioned but this is sleek and has an easy to clean surface. Decent output as well for an 8.5kw.
Really simple to attach (if you are handy, the plumber told me this). He did say it was very easy for him as some other showers can be a nightmare. It looks really good as well.

We’ve found the ‘ECO’ setting pretty pointless as it just seems to reduce the temperature, meaning you have to turn it up even higher and the water flow rate drops even more.
We’ve also found that the power light (a red LED) is constantly on, we have our isolation valve in the loft, so its impractical to turn it on and off overtime we want to use it/ finished with it. It’s a minor thing but it just seems so pointless and wasteful.
Also said and done, this was an easy to fit and great looking shower, the water flow is ‘adequate’ nothing exceptional but thats what a power shower offers, so if thats what you want, don’t get an electric one. It’s easy to clean, the shower head is a lovely light and curvy shape t hold and have plenty of useful settings. We’re really happy with ours and would be happy to recommend it to others. If the flow rate were better and it should be considering the technology available now, this would be a great looking 5 star worthy electric shower.
