There are loads of cheap versions now so I ordered a few for comparison. None were up to the quality of TRX so this is the one I opted for. The manufacturing is solid and it feels like there’s no risk of it coming apart, the cheaper ones all seemed like they’d only last 5 minutes. I travel with this and it’s been brilliant, easy to hang it anywhere and it’s remained solid to date. Happy customer.

I lost my trx tactical so chose this for the price. It’s no where near as heavy duty but half the weight so much better for travel

Really useful piece of kit when you haven’t got a gym. With no equipment the back tends to get neglected, but not when using the TRX. Really pleased with it. Only thing is I wish I could fit, more easily, the TRX in to the bag it comes with.

A very sturdy piece of equipment. I use it via the attachment to my garage, internal door. I weigh 92kg and have had no problems at all in it supporting my weight. The garage door seems to be OK too.
There are a lot of workouts for this on the YouTube. So there’s plenty of options to explore.
You are provided with an access card to a TRX website for a series of training videos, provided with the purchase. Haven’t tried these yet.
The equipment is easy to pick up and is easy to learn. However start with the basics. Build up to things like the Pike. I tried it for a laugh but don’t bend in the middle very well. It didn’t end well for me. Positively it wasn’t too far to fall and it hasn’t put me off at all.
Down point don’t pull too hard on the way up as meeting the anchor point, or in my case the door is possible.
I was used mainly to free weights and cardio. I can confirm TRX lives up to its promises. Some of the videos can give you quite a workout in 25-35 minutes. I recommend you try these as the trainers are in general excellent at helping and guiding you what to do. That way you’ll get the most out of the TRX. If it helps you can burn up to 400 kcals in a more vigorous workouts and no less than 200. For fans of calorie counting.
It really works you core as promised. You can feel it tense under the exercises. Even doing the basic stuff as a beginner like me.
Overall it’s really good fun. It’s a bit like being on a swing as kid, well that’s what I think.
Another top tip, learning the hard way as per usual. Best not to use every day. I got a bit carried away and ended up with brachial radial strain, after a 7 days worth of sessions. Maybe that’s an age thing.

Decided to buy my own and delighted with the newer lighter version. Great for both indoor and outdoor use, can be packed in a suitcase and used when travelling.
Very happy with my purchase. This TRX GO version has thinner straps and smaller, lighter components than the more expensive model, it’s a little less heavy duty. Being very small makes is easy to throw in a bag and take anywhere with you especially when travelling. It’s been especially useful to use in parks during lockdown, it’s nice to have a gym in a tiny bag!

Do TRX in the gym but loving having my trx straps at home. Have straps hanging fro skylight and gives me the height I need for all exercises. Sturdy and great quality.
Bought as a Xmas gift to keep my partner motivated when working away. Small enough to pack in your overnight bag.
Will buy the wall bracket so we can use the TRX outside at home.
Comes with a membership card so you can watch demo video clips for the different exercises you can do.

Having used another brand of suspension trainer and needing to travel for work with it, I realised the other whilst good was just not compact enough and quite heavy.
Whilst rather pricy, this lightweight TRX version Really is that. Much more compact to fold up and very light weight, I would guess this weighs less than a kilo when packed up., where as my old one weighed double that. This TRX Feels sturdy enough and well made, I am not a small lass.
I found the TRX team very helpful when I used chat to ask for help when I could not sign up to their web site (you get a free start up membership in the TRX).
The only thing missing in my view is the ‘Do not disturb TRX training in progress’ door knob card, that would be very handy for when I am in hotels using my TRX and trying not to scare the house keeping folks!
Unless you’re a trainer or have a commercial gym, this is plenty. I’m a bit of a brand snob, I know there are other cheaper options, but this one seemed ideal to me. It’s as well made as other TRX bands and the price I paid (44ish) made it a no brainer. It’s small enough to wrap up and throw in the cupboard or a bag. I don’t plan on using it outdoors, but I believe it would be fine.

I’ve picked this up for myself and my son who uses it during his physio.
The system is essentially a lighter weight version of the full TRX system and comes well packaged and presented. It all goes into a handy bag for transport and would be ideal in a gym bag, travel bag or around the house.
So inside the box is the mesh carry bag to house the straps, indoor/outdoor anchor, training poser and a card that gives you access to two digital workouts. You dont need this, head on over to the most popular video sharing tube int he world and you can find something to suit your needs, from Army sessions to personal trainer and everything inbetween.
Once you have found your workout get stuck in! Its surprising how much of a workout you get from bodyweight and to be honest a lot of functional gains.
based on short use only: doesn’t look as if it will fall apart any time soon. I like the light weight/portability of the unit- I take it into my works gym and attach it to a suitable fitting- others want to use it!! Excellent sheet of exercises with it, a voucher for you to go online and download more exercises. I’m happy.
You can have some serious fun with these. Hooked them onto a hotel room door a couple of times for a mobile workout. Use them at home from a chin-up bar. Hard not to be impressed as part of a mini home gym.

I was surprised at how sturdy this is, even when attached to a door. It’s very similar to the strength of the gym TRX. I either use it attached to a door which is fine, or also I have some overhead grills in my hall which I can also use, which are definitely preferable as you can move both sides of the anchor point.
The TRX app is not great for exercises, as it is quite limited. however, there are many great YouTube videos available which are good for all levels of fitness.
I’d definitely recommend this TRX gear as an alternate to expensive classes. I haven’t taken it on trips away as yet, however, it is very light so would work well for those who are regularly on the road.
I have always used TRX suspension training products and have been very pleased with the. However on this occasion both of the handles arrived damaged due to the overly-tight cable tie that they arrive packaged in. This has left me disappointed as they now have lasting indents. This is a definite flaw in the packaging system used for this.
I have used other brands similar to this product but the TRX Trainer Kit is far superior in design and finish. The exercises are easier to manage particularly when you get older and are less flexible. There is less stress on the joints as the exercise action is smooth and easier to do but continues to allow all muscle groups to be used. Excellent.
I can’t fault this equipment and would have given it five stars had it not been for the price, which is quite hefty. However, you are buying the brand leader so you pays your money and gets your choice.
Outstanding product, superbly made, durable and easy to set up. Started training as soon as it arrived and its exactly the same as the gym quality. Will be easy to take on travels and I’m delighted.
Product as expected. Good quality and comes with nice features and a wall poster with some excercises. The only drawback is the TRX register code that suppose to give you access to the TRX app for programmes etc is very poor and these guys don’t actually offer anything but some small few minutes videos and that’s it.
As a personal trainer this is a must have! Personally and considering the price I think this model is enough to engage in suspension training workouts.

Although you can use TRX indoors by attaching it to a door, I prefer to use mine outside, around a thick tree branch.
I travel a lot, and these combined with the Trx or youtube workouts are great. light weight and simple to use. A quality product.
Only used once so far but very impressed. Can’t wait to try it outdoors!
Sometimes the strap can be uncomfortable on the top of foot or heel.
Changing length depending on exercise gets annoying but once you know what you are doing it’s all good.
