Purchased a pack of these generic brand cables for my Garmin Forerunner 245, so one for by the bedside, one for the PC and one kept in my travel backpack for anywhere else. Now, obviously the Forerunner 245 has an excellent battery life and charges very quickly, so being caught on the hop after running out of juice is going to be a rarity.
However, it’s good to be prepared.
I did think the proprietary Garmin plug was a bit naff compared to the magnetic cradle of my old Samsung, but it works fine. The other end of the cable is a standard USB-A plug, so you can charge pretty much anywhere (planes, trains and automobiles, etc).
Have plugged them all in and they all work.

I have just come back to the office after a few days break and Ray has stolen my cable along with my USB
C plug and lightning cable with a USB C – A little fixing. I will now be buying another one and replacing all my other charger bits… he is the worst, really the worst!
Absolutely gutted when my Garmin Forerunner 245 would not charge up with the Garmin charger. Was it the watch? Was it the charger? Purchased the Tusita charger to arrive ASAP. Fingers crossed! Very impressed with the charging speed, as full charge was achieved within a few minutes. Phew! Can definitely recommend. All boxes ticked for me. Many thanks.

Well made, quality cable for charging/connecting my Garmin Fenix 6X (or any other Garmin with their standard fitting) from/to my MacBook. Decent thick cable with good quality plugs. Works as expected.
Only used once so far but it has charged by Garmin Vivomove 3 with no problems. Longer wire than the original. Good to keep as a spare at work.
I lost my original charger. This one is great! Much longer and works perfectly. Really pleased with it.
Good positive connection to watch and charges as quickly as the original lead supplied. Is longer than lead supplied with the watch which makes charging bit more convenient. Only 4 stars as lead is thinner and less sturdy than garmin supplied one.

Not an official Garmin charger but a very good alternative. The cable feels a lot thinner then the original Garmin charger and the connections feel a fair bit looser. However, it is a lot cheaper and does the job. Sometimes the connections become a little loose so so just have to wiggle it a little bit it works perfectly fine and charges just as quick.
Item looks good but unfortunately did not last. Bought it in October 2021 and seemed to work fine. Recently stopped working for some reason. Tried another cable to the watch (Garmin Fenix 6X Pro) and all good with the watch so looks like it’s just the item itself that’s no longer working after such a short life. Not going to advise any one not to get it but will advise that its not a Garmin branded device so you get what you pay for.
It holds my Garmin Venu Sq very well, would definitely recommend it.
My existing charger had started to misbehave and it was difficult to charge my Garmin unless in a certain position. This new charger has solved that issue so must have been a poor connection/break in the wire. Works fine so far. I hope it lasts.

Just needed a Garmin charger lead that was longer than the One supplied in box.
I ordered a charger cable for a watch and that’s what I got. It was in a plastic bag, no instructions and no plug – but I used a phone plug and it worked.
Seems to function well. Received today and charged Forerunner immediately. I think it actually fits better in the watch than the original cable and nice to have a 1 m cable rather than the short originally supplied.

My original charging wire wouldn’t charge my fenix 5x at all but this has saved my life. If your watch isn’t charging, then try changing cables first of all, it really works considering how poor the design of the charging cable is by Garmi
After another stand that was similar to this stopped working, I decided to try this stand because it was slightly cheaper. It is a solid stand and it is very easy to turn the charging point to the correct orientation for my vivoactive 4s. It also fits my partner’s venu. The only gripe I have is that it is very light and can be a bit of a fiddle getting the watch off without lifting the stand off the nightstand. Otherwise, a great little stand that works well and as an added bonus the little lip is perfect to hold your phone too.

You need to be careful which why you plug the connector into the Garmin watch as one way up it only charges the other it correctly syncs and charges as intended. Not a major issue but I can’t see what you shouldn’t be able to plug is in any way up as per the Garmin original, it’s shame Garmin doesn’t make a USB-C lead available by defaul

This works well with my garmin 6 pro and holds the watch facing the correct way so looks like a clock at night. However wife’s 6s pro, the smaller version of mine, has the charge point the other side. So charges OK but the watch is upside down. Very odd from garmin the charge point being different sides.
I’ve knocked a star off as the cable could be routed and hidden better on the unit itself. It just hangs out the back.
Really solid stand, which had worked well so far. Connector works well for my Garmin S60 and the lead is much longer than the Garmin supplied charger. Rated 4 stars as I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks but really impressed with it and will rate it 5 stars if performance remains the same.
The stand is nice, I like the colour. It has a blueish hue to it. It’s very lightweight… I think I’ll need some kind of double sided tape to stop it moving around.
The connection feels a little loose but it does connect and charge which is the important bit.
I like how it has space for the watch strap to tidy away.
I purchased this cable for use with my Fenix 5, as I misplaced the original cable. I like that the cable enables the same charging speed as the original cable and that the extra length provides more flexibility with where I can use it.
The cable fits my Approach S10 watch perfectly but the cable is not as rigid as the one supplied with the watch by Garmin and does not feel of such good quality. Unsure how durable it will prove.

This is so light that you need to use 2 hands – one on the watch, one on the stand when mounting/releasing the watch, however…
The foot is long enough to put it under something to stabilise/fix it in place
I use my PC monitor foot, one handed operation is now possible

Much better than a standalone charger base (same design, but without stand) as the watch straps meant the watch didn’t stay secure on the base. This product with the aluminium stand appears much better. Only just set up, though pleased with product. Alan.
