Ce petit adaptateur est tout juste ce qu’il me fallait.
Rien de plus simple, il suffit de le brancher sur le port USB de l’ordinateur puis d’y brancher un cble ethernet reli au modem / routeur / switch ou autre pour LAN et le tour est jou.
Dans de rares cas une configuration rseau sera faire mais dans la majorit des cas ce sera du plug&play
J’utilise uniquement une Mibox pour regarder l’intgralit de mes contenu vido sur ma tv 4k, que ce soit Molotov, Netflix ou amazon vido. Le problme de la Miboox c’est qu’elle ne dispose que d’un port usb et d’une connexion WiFiet le sans-fil est parfois un peu limite en bande passante pour du contenu 4K.
C’est dans ces conditions que cet adaptateur USB vers RJ45 toute son utilit ! Il est parfaitement reconnu et a me permet de me connecter mon Lan Mibox en gigabit ! Gros point positif c’est que les finitions de ces adaptateurs sont exemplaires et les extrmit RJ45 et USB e sont en acier.
A l’utilisation tout est plus rapide, le chargement des vidos est beaucoup plus rapide et la navigation beaucoup plus fluide !
Je recommande sans hsiter !
Adapteur reconnu immdiatement sous Windows 10 et reconnu sous Android condition d’utiliser un adaptateur ou cble OTG. Pour atteindre le dbit annonc il faudra tre obligatoirement connect en USB 3 minimum. Les commentaires qui disent qu’en USB 2 c’est pas terrible, c’est normal l’USB 2 est limite 480 MB/s thoriques (moins si matriel ou connexion limitants). Pour moi cet adaptateur fonctionne bien, je n’ai pas la fibre donc je ne peux pas tester celui-ci avec dbit de 1 GB/s.
L’adaptateur qui est reconnu sans installation de driver peut dpanner tel ou tel utilisateur, condition de ne pas en attendre un dbit Gb/s comme celui annonc. Le matriel est cependant bien construit mais assez cher. Utile uniquement en cas de besoin impratif.

This is a very simple little device to connect an Ethernet cable to your laptop, so long as your laptop has a spare USB 3 port (which I imagine all recent laptop models do). The device just acts as a middle man; the Ethernet cable goes in one end, and a braided cord carries the signal to the USB connector. There are lights to indicate that you the connection is working properly and data is being transferred. I personally prefer an Ethernet connection to a wi-fi connection when possible, as it gives a completely stable signal which isn’t subject to outside electrical interference etc.
I got this to use with my work laptop primarily as it doesn’t come with an ethernet port anymore. The plug-n-play function means no additional drivers or software downloads are required to use this with any device. It is compact, lightweight and durable. It works great with my work laptop with speeds as expected and no noticeable stability or performance issues. I have not experienced any drops in connectivity so far and speed has stayed consistent.
It could be used with most devices with wide compatibility in terms of operating systems. It is a handy bit of equipment to have and would recommend it.

Sur les notebook, PC portable ou autre drivs qui sont certes dots d’une carte WIFI souffrent souvent d’un dbit variable et c’est dommage surtout quand on a la fibre et qu’on a un cble RJ45 disposition.
C’est un bon produit, en aluminium, on branche, on connecte le cble et c’est tout.
Aucun driver aucune prise de tte.
Attention brancher sur un port USB 3.0 minimum (languette bleue) sinon vous allez souffrir d’une perte importante de dbit.

Je l’ai test en LAN pour mon ultraportable qui n’a pas de port ethernet. Aucun souci de dbit ou de fonctionnement, a march immdiatement, reconnu sans souci sur un PC windows 10. Donc ce n’est pas que pour Switch. Compact et lger, je n’ai eu aucun problme.

Habe solche Teile schon mehr in Verwendung da ich die W Lan Verbindung entlasten will und mehr mit Kabel arbeiten will. Habe so die PC der Kinder ins Netz eingefgt und auch die Switch. Vorteil Internetverbindung ist flssiger

This adapter has allowed me to link my laptop to my wi-fi hub through ethernet, as otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to as there is no ethernet connection on my laptop.
It’s been ideal and has allowed me to do this, so I’d definitely recommend at the current price of just under 16.

I discovered the brand Uni back in July 2020 and purchased a USB Cable. I liked what they offered and the cable has worked very well for me and was made extremely well (and is still working great as of April 2022). Since then I’ve purchased several more cables and USB hubs/adapters. I feel their products are excellent quality and work flawlessly.
I needed another USB Ethernet Adapter for a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W i recently purchased. This USB Ethernet Adapter works great! Nothing additional was needed. Plugged it and it just worked without any effort other than plugging it it.
Before connecting it to my Raspberry Pi, i tried it on several devices to test it out. Works great with a Dell Laptop & a Desktop PC both running Windows 10.
Its very compact and has a metal outer shell. The cable is short but braided and thick. Excellent quality.
I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend any of Uni brands to anyone needing a cable. They are not expensive and well worth the price. They stand behind their products with their warranty. I purchased an older USB adapter in 2021 that stopped working. Contacted their customer service and was sent a replacement very quickly. They have very friendly customer service that is prompt to resolve any issues.

This is pretty sensible to have in your cable bag. Especially if you suffer from slow wifi and need a wired connection but don’t have a cabled connector in your device.
Useful for me when I move about school and wifi drops – I can simply switch into this cable and plug into the more reliable wired network.
This USB Ethernet Adapter works on the Nintendo Switch, but it didn’t really improve my download speeds due to the USB 2.0 limitation on the console. I guess it’s not worth bothering with this if you were looking for better download speeds on your Switch console. The only benefit to running one of these is it will clear one device from your plethora of wireless devices on your WiFi network. That only really matters if you are already struggling with device count on older WiFi5 routers.
That said, it does provide gig speeds if used on a USB 3.0 port on a computer. So the product does as advertised. I also like the rugged feel of the metal casing on this USB adapter.
L ou je rpte avec mon groupe de musique, nous avons une table de mixage qu’il est prfrable de contrler l’aide d’un ordinateur via Ethernet, mais j’ai galement besoin que cet ordinateur soit connect Internet. Ce petit adaptateur est la solution parfaite, me permettant de brancher la fois la table de mixage et le routeur.
C’est de trs haute qualit, avec la courte longueur de cble pais et tress. De plus, le cble est rond et non plat (ce qui semble tre courant de nos jours, mme si cela peut introduire plus d’interfrences).
J’ai effectu un test de vitesse avec cet adaptateur et le port Ethernet de la carte mre et les deux vitesses taient identiques. Je pense qu’ moins que vous n’ayez des vitesses internet hyper rapides, votre goulot d’tranglement ne sera pas cet adaptateur.

I can say the device is rather well made, with a short nylon sheathed cable to the USB A plug, there’s also lights around the Ethernet connector, a little more effort has gone into this, which perhaps doesn’t impact the functionality but suggests quality and attention to detail.
I plugged one end into my PCs and the other into the network by the standard RJ45 connector, and in both Windows and Linux the device was recognised and a connection made.
The device can deliver up to 2.5G but the actual speed will be dependent on your device and available network speed.

I was looking for a high-speed, USB3.0 Ethernet adapter which worked with Linux and this adapter seemed to fit the bill, according to the description. The product arrived in a nice little box, with the instructions inside. The case of the device is somewhat sturdy Aluminum and the USB cable is nicely braided.
I plugged the adapter into a USB3.0 port on my laptop running Ubuntu 20.04, and it properly enumerated. The syslog did show some errors setting some registers, but the device was properly identified and generated an eth1 device. After attaching a network cable, NetworkManager DHCPed the device and I received a valid IP address.

The adapter seems to function at a decent speed, and it has link and activity LEDs on it. I did a speed test to the outside world and it performed as well as my laptop’s built-in Ethernet port. I didn’t try any local device network speed testing, but for a USB adapter, it will do well enough, especially for machines without a built-in Ethernet port. The instructions said that it might get warm, but it has stayed cool so far for my usage, and I’m using it right now when typing this review.
I did not try it with our Nintendo Switch yet, but it is advertised to work, so I assume that it will work if we need to use it there. And it should work with Windows if it works with Linux.
All-in-all, I’m happy with the design, appearance and functionality of this device, and think that I made a good choice.
First impression:
The adapter is compact and has a dark grey metallic finish and a short USB-A trailing lead. Its small size is not going to drag at your USB port. I was testing this for the Switch compatibility with Pokemon Unite running. Obviously, this is not needed on the newer model, unless you have broken the ethernet port somehow.
Login to the game was quicker as was the connection to the remote players. Combat was faster too, which can sometimes lag. Performance increases are hard to quantify and are somewhat subjective when marginal — my internet could just have been having a good day. The improvement seemed to be worth it.
Packaging and delivery:
The adapter arrived quickly, and is supplied in a small cardboard box and does not have any wasted plastic to throw away.
Installation:
This is really easy. Just plug the USB-A into the beck of your Switch port, and a RJ-45 ethernet wite into the other end. There are connectivity and network traffic indicator LEDs that show activity if all is well. The Nintendo Switch will automatically change to wired mode instead of WIFI.
Pros:
In-game performance boost. Hard to evaluate. Adding ethernet capability means that you won’t be fighting over contended WIFI bandwidth in the household and possibly signal bandwidth with your neighbours.
Plug and play operation.
Saw evidence of a smoother game experience in some areas.
Cons:
None really. The Switch USB runs only at USB 2.0 speed so does not quite take advantage of the USB 3.0 of this adapter. UBS 3.0 is nevertheless better even in a 2.0 port.
Conclusion:
This is a good way to add a small performance gain to the slightly older Switch consoles, as the new OLED models now have an ethernet port. I won’t go into the reasons for this, but the inclusion of the port on the newer model is a nod to the possible necessity. Recommended.
Je voulais installer un Firewall sous Linux mais il fallait ajouter un second port ethernet sur le Raspberry Pi qui en est dpourvu.
J’ai donc choisi cette prise en me disant que celle ci serait compatible.
J’ai install la dernire distribution IpFire et j’ai directement pu configurer l’adaptateur Ethernet, il a t reconnu ds le dpart je n’ai rien eu modifier.
J’ai tester a aussi sur une tour PC de rcupration, dtect immdiatement par IpFire.
J’imagine que le driver est prsent dans les derniers Kernels Linux, alors vous n’aurez pas de soucis avec une autre distribution (Ubuntu/Mint/Debian etc …).
Cot perfs, on est bien au niveau d’un port 1 Gigabit traditionnel condition d’tre connect une prise USB3.
Bought for my LG C1 which ethernet port is capped at 100mbps, if you add this to the USB 3 port in the back you get can get 1Gbps and makes the tv much better for apps especially for 4k streaming ! Great quality product !

I haven’t had any drop outs and it starts working straight away with windows. I assume it utilises a generic ethernet driver in Windows
As a quick update (and still 5 STARs)…
I saw a couple of reviews saying they couldn’t get 1G speeds and so I thought I would retest as I only tested to my broadband speed using one pc on my original review.
I managed to get a second PCs connected to my router and switch, so could test the full interface speed between the 2 pcs.
Using a 3G file to transfer to and from both PCs, the interface speed reach 981Mbps – not really expecting to 1000Mbps, but 981Mbps is effectively 1Gbps.
So definitely still 5 STAR

Not a lot to say about this USB-A to Gig Ethernet adapter, other than it works flawlessly at a fantastic price (15.99 at time of review).
Plugged it in, both USB-A and Ethernet physical connections felt nice and snug, and then an additional Ethernet Interface appeared under my network adapters, interface 10.
No problems at all when ethernet plugged in, recognised the cable being inserted and a quick SpeedNet test and exact same results as from my native ethernet port on my laptop. The small TX/RX LEDs work as expected when transmitting or receiving data.
Also tested connected via a USB-A hub, and again no problems at all.
Using a USB-A to USB-C adapter, I also tested to my native in-built USB-C interface, and as expected, no problems at all.
At 15.99 (without the current 20% discount voucher, at the time of review), this is fantastic value, to either give you an additional IP wired ethernet interface, or perhaps to replace a dodgy or broken native in-built ethernet interface – a definite 5 rating for me.
The adapter is totally plug and play if usb on a laptop or Nintendo Switch
The speed test were very impressive with virtually non existant difference in speed tests on inbuilt ethernet or the adapter
Also the improvement on ethernet is quite marked on the switch if used over the inbuilt wifi, although being brutally honest my switch is near my 5G router and I get pretty good speeds anyway.
LEDs are on the device to indicate data throughput which is always reassuring to see.
Cannot really fault the device and just as one last piece of mind for a buyer there is an 18 month warranty on the device.
Ce petit boitier contient une carte rseau , il suffit de le connecter un port USB3 et on se retrouve avec un port rseau avec prise RJ45 .
Il est plug’n’play sur Windows 10 , mais je viens de l’installer sur un port USB3 avec Windows 7 , mme constatation .
Il peut s’avrer bien utile pour dtecter d’ventuels problmes rseaux sur son ordinateurs puisque c’est un moyen de dtourner la connexion rseau de sa carte mre donc un bon outil de diagnostique .
Ou il permet plus simplement de disposer d’un deuxime port .
Il est de catgorie 7 ce qui veut dire qu’il prend un charge une connexion d’1 Gbps , ce qui est 10 fois plus que la vitesse de ma connexion en fibre optique . Il prendra donc mme en charge l’offre la + rapide 10 fois plus performante que la mienne .
Physiquement c’est un boitier en ABS ressemblant fortement de l’aluminium , , gris fonc mtallis de belle qualit avec un finition soigne , il est en plus quip d’un cble de 15 cm revtu d’une tresse en nylon tres rsistante .
Il fonctionne parfaitement avec mon pc dell.
Il se branche facilement et la reconnaissance est immdiate.
Je le recommande sans hsiter.

My laptop is 8 yes old and the Lan port pins are bent inside so cannot be used.
This small usb 3 adapter was instantly recognised on windows 11 and worked at full speed with no further changes made.

This adapter definitely works with the Nintendo Switch, I have tried so many others that just never worked but this one worked straight away.
Installation was simple you just simply connect the usb connector to one of the usb ports on the dock of the Switch and plug your ethernet cable into the other and check your settings on the Switch to make sure it is using wired rather than WI-FI and your good to go.
I saw an increase in speed immediately compared to my 5ghz WI-FI connection which even though only 10ft from the router is through a solid wall, my speeds went from roughly 2Mbps to an average of 20Mbps which may not look amazing to everyone but getting your eshop games almost 10 times faster is still great.
The adapter is well built and looks nice and is still small enough to hide behind the Switch dock if you want to keep it off show, if your Wi-Fi just isn’t up to the job this is a great fix and reasonably well priced to.
L’interface rseau de mon ordinateur portable rendu l’me. Le WiFi n’tant pas stable chez moi, j’ai du racheter un nouveau portable.
J’ai achet cet adaptateur usb ethernet quelques jours plus tard et oh miracle mon 1er ordinateur refonctionne en rseau filaire. Pas de problme de compatibilit et la connexion est bien stable. a fait maintenant le bonheur de mes enfants
C’est un adaptateur Ethernet Fast & Gigabit vers USB-C.
Sous Windows, il est immdiatement reconnu. Il n’y a pas de drivers installer.
La puce est de marque ASIX dont nativement reconnue par les consoles Nintendo (Wii U et Switch). Mais pour ces consoles, visez plutt la version USB-A. Le boitier est en alu et le cble est tress. Il sera plus solide que vos connecteurs Ethernet, d’ailleurs, je le laisse demeure sur le cble rseau. Les branchements/dbranchements d’une connexion rseau sont plus simples et sans surprise en USB qu’en Ethernet !

Cet adaptateur USB -A 3.0 est reu dans une petite boite dans laquelle nous trouverons galement une petite notice traduite notamment en Franais. Cet adaptateur ajoute une connexion filaire aux appareils qui ne possdent pas de port Ethernet et qui sont connects uniquement en Wi-Fi. Il est galement compatible Thunderbolt 3. La connexion sera plus stable, avec un dbit pouvant atteindre 1000 Mbps. Son cble est en nylon tress, il parait vraiment solide et sa longueur est de 13 cm environ. C’est pour cette dernire utilisation que j’ai choisi cet adaptateur. Je l’ai branch sur une Xiaomi Mi Box TV v1 qui ne possde pas de port Ethernet. Et l’adaptateur fonctionne parfaitement ! la connexion Ethernet est bien plus rapide et plus stable avec l’adapteur qu’elle ne l’tait avant.
En conclusion, je recommande vraiment cet adaptateur dont le design est trs russi. Il est trs compact et pourra tre install dans un espace restreint. Il permet une connexion rapide et stable. Que du positif dans l’utilisation que j’ai choisie.
Un adaptateur Ethernet Giga vers USB-A en 3.0 qui fonctionne impeccablement.
Il est livr sans aucun driver, ni CD, mais ce n’est gure utile, notamment sous Windows 10 qui l’installe directement.
A connecter sur un port USB v3 si on ne veut pas avoir des limitations notamment en Giga (mme si ce n’est pas parce qu’on est en Giga qu’on exploite un trafic rel au Giga, c’est en souvent loin et non ncessaire, cela dpend de ce que l’on utilise en terme logiciel).
C’est un modle un peu plus cher que la moyenne, mais son chipset ASIX AX88179A supporte toutes les fonctions de base et avances (IPv6, VLAN, QoS, trames jumbo, etc…). C’est donc un adaptateur complet, classique, et sans mauvaise surprise compatible 10/100 et Giga.
Je l’ai utilis sur plusieurs PC titre pro et contrairement certains, je n’ai jamais eu aucun problme, ni de driver, ni de fonctionnement, trs utile pour ceux qui ont besoin d’un port Ethernet supplmentaire.
Sa construction est robuste avec un bloc en alu, un cble en nylon tress, tout est solide et impeccable.
Un achat sr et sans mauvaise surprise.
Cet adaptateur est ncessaire sur de plus en plus de machines rcentes ne comportant aucun port Ethernet.
Il fonctionne sans problme et sans installation.
I have a 2.5 Gb USB network dongle, but that didn’t work with my Chuwi. This does work with my Chuwi and the speed is great.

It’s very well made, supports upto 1 Gbps speeds via ethernet and is widely compatible – no driver needed, plug and play support. I had mine up and being used with Retropie in minutes – which was great!
It’s a nice little design too, I feel like it’s durable enough to travel if required and the casing feels strong. Very impressed!
