This is a good game to kill some time at home or on the travel with tge family.
Each game is short so good for younger children. The rules are simple colours or numbers. With some command cards like reverse pick up miss a go etc. This has the added element of turning the cards around to the dark side. Where the penalties are more severe.
If you have played uno before this will be a breeze to pick up.

If you like normal UNO & want a change to spice it up a lot! This is for you! We’ve been loving the original UNO for years but once you’ve tried this, your never go back! Such fun! Such a laugh! Certainly keeps you on your toes! One side the cards are normal ish UNO (the light side) then all of a sudden you get cards that mean ‘flip’ & everything gets turned over. The opposite side of the cards are (the dark side) and everything is new & different (cards are orange, turquoise, pink & purple) One card means you could could end up picking up like 13 cards in one go or just a few! That was just when you thought you were on UNO ha ha. It’s really is good & of course quality cards you would expect from the maker Mattel. A game for all ages! Excellent! 100% reccomend! Even my sister has gone out and bought one now since she tried our set as so good!
I’ve grown up playing Uno and it’s a much loved game in our family, so when I saw this version I had to buy it for my parents for Christmas!
We have loved playing this game, it was extremely easy to learn and so much fun playing. We have all laughed so much we had tears streaming down our face.
I would highly recommend this game to absolutely everyone even those of who have played Uno before!
This is fantastic great normal fun with average uno with a great twist to add a burst of energy to the game. It comes with new cards to learn and easy instructions I love the original and I highly recommend this, it doesn’t taint it at all.
These are fake. Cards are smaller, thinner and flimsy. Not of a quality make. Questionable print quality. The colours are very dull. This is on both the light side and dark side which didn’t even have the right colours. Pink, two shades of purple and a blue. The box the came in shows the correct colours. I know these are fake as I had owned a genuine set. These are an embarrassment they are no fun to play with. So disappointed to be ripped off.
For the price I paid for this I pretty much guessed the tin was a lie and it sadly was.
Uno’s a great family/group game that can be quick or long depending on whether you tweak some rules here and there
Not reviewing the game itself. Mine looks like an original, the cards are good quality and not paper thin so I’m happy with this.
But don’t advertise a tin and not supply one. Knocked a star off for that.

I purchased UNO flip for a trip away and have taken them away with me on every trip since – also I keep them to hand near the coffee table at home to allow me to instigate a game of UNO flip at a moments’ notice. The cards are of good quality, the additional rules are easy to grasp and really add a new dimension to the game. I have played a LOT of UNO and so I had high hopes for these cards and they have exceeded expectations. Absolute must-have for UNO lovers, great to play with friends and family.

So we have a few different uno games now we enjoy playing as a family youngest is 7 and loves it all age groups join in. Nice sized pack cards are good quality the only reason I say its hard to learn and it doesn’t get 5 stars is there is no instructions in English didn’t realise there wasn’t even any English on the pack which I did not realise until after I’d given to son on his birthday it’s easily fixed you can download a UK version of the instructions and print yourself which is what we ended up doing we like to learn the different rules and different variations of the game.
For the UNO enthusiast this is a great gift to the standard pack of cards.
Great had so much fun with the parent the only problem is the dark side colours because for people for have trouble with colours the look similar will have slight trouble as i realised some of the blue look green and some of the pink looked red
Other then that they were sealed just slight colour difference in some of the cards
My family loves uno and so this was the perfect way to change up our game! We loved it and it was so easy to learn and get the hang off! We got it within the first round! The print quality is amazing and the cards look great!
Fantastic twist to a game that is truly loved as a family game in our house. Being able to see other players cards when someone plays a switchflip is great we have had many hours of fun playing with these cards and held up great with three children , even took them camping this summer great to pass time when it’s raining.
Very easy to learn if you have basic idea how to play uno. .
Having played this new version at relatives we decided to order our own. As we also play on holidays, the description of the game cards coming in a “strong tin” to contain the cards when travelling appealed to us.
Very disappointed to find that this isn’t the case,the cards arrived in a cardboard outer and I think that will fall apart after continuing use. Please correct your description Amazon or is it the fault of Mattel?
We love UNO and didn’t think anything could beat it, that was until we discovered UNO Flip. This game is so much more fun, keeps us entertained for hours.
We have enjoyed several UNO versions over the years and this one went down just as well with our now grown up family. Seems to me the flipping takes away the effeciveness of good tacics and luck comes more into play making it a good choice for a mixed group where you want everyone to have a good chance of winning.

The kids have enjoyed it so far. They like the classic so thought to give this a go. Only downside so far has been the ‘draw until you get the right colour’ black card as it can take a lot of cards and they only have small hands!

Great game for 2 or more players. Just when you think you’re on track to win someone flips the cards and your game plan goes out the window.
We have had this game for a while now and it’s still the go to choice for after dinner games most evenings. My daughters (aged 8 and 12) are hooked and don’t even care about technology when we are playing! Well worth it if you have enjoyed the original uno!

If Uno has become a bit easy then try this version. Two-sided cards where a flip card means you turn all the cards over – brilliant idea. My 5-year-old nephew loves it as a change from ordinary Uno.
I actually got these for the children I work with at a secondary school during lockdown to keep them occupied and they loved it! Adds a little something extra to the game!

This is better than original Uno, but takes a while to understand. Once you “get it” it is fun to play (for all us geeks anyway)

Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter as she loves playing Uno. It’s a great variation on the classic game and has provided us with entertainment during lockdown.
My only criticism is the packaging. Trying to get 104 cards into the thin cardboard box is a pain, one I remember from my own childhood. The boxes don’t hold up to travel and general bashing about that happens with kids things, and the instruction leaflet gets destroyed. You would have thought the manufacturer would have come up with something sturdier by now.

A hugely enjoyable variant of the UNO franchise. Love the new colours, cards and penalties. Even more enjoyable than the original (and DOS which was a big fail for us). We’ve had loads of games already since Christmas. Highly recommend.

We have played UNO as a family for years now, and my 17 year old used to take our set to school for common room games between lessons. A versatile game, so when younger son asked for a new set, I saw this and was intrigued with a slight twist on the usual UNO. Very easy to master and has provided hours of fun! It’s like playing two games in one, and just when you think you’re winning the pack gets flipped and your luck changes in a instant. The whole family loves this new variation, and it’s caused havoc, mayhem, fun and memorable family outbursts during lockdown. Thank you!
Love Uno, so Uno Flip seemed like a good idea. Was out of the packet and out with us the day after it arrived. Great fun. The perfect way to pass time whilst waiting for food to arrive – much more fun than everyone just playing on their own mobile devices.

Uno is a great game and this Uno Flip looks like a great variation. Feeling rather negative as item took over 2 weeks to be delivered and then the box and instructions are not in English. Found the instructions on the Mattel website, but a bit annoying, as it doesn’t say this in the item description. Have played a few times now and love getting to flip all the cards from the light to the dark side and don’t like the new +5 cards! Easy to get and am sure it will be as addictive as the original.
I bought this to use in teaching.
It does reinforce numeracy and it is more tricky that the normal UNO game.
The only drawback is that the cards are very slippery and harder to handle.
This is not the original version. Original game by Mattel only 3 more. This set is smaller, poor quality and no rules with it. Can buy in Turkey for 2 euros. Don’t buy it, spent the extra 3. Very disappointed Amazon.
Brilliant game. Uno is played lots in our home (and school as a LSA for KS4) this is brilliant and really brings put the competitive side.

Being family of uno fans we decided to give this a try. It’s a great twist in the classic game. Easy enough to pick up the new rules which in turn make this different enough from the original to be a whole new game.
A niggle rather than complaint, it only comes in a card sleeve, would be better if it had more durable package for travelling.

A bit confusing at first but wow when you get the hang of it be prepared….
We love uno but lost our cards. Great addition. 6 and 8 year old loves it but the cards are so slippery so they often go everywhere!

Learnt this from my grandson needed to be on the ball.
We actually needed to you tube the rules as they weren’t clear but this new uno makes for an interesting twist on the original….. loved it…and lost to my son!!!!
Flip cards are for all the family from 8 up 99.. it’s for the hole family. From the age of knowing numbers up to10.. it’s quite easy to follow. Love the bright colours.
Flipping the pack over to the ‘Dark side’ is a great way of giving any player a chance to shake things up. Of course, the dark side of the pack is meant to be more severe. Pick up 2 becomes Pick up 5. Pick up 4 becomes a case of picking up as many as you need to until a particular colour comes up. Overall this severity is negated because all players are still playing by the same rules. It does mean that if you’re winning, and your game-plan is paying off, then this might put a huge spanner in the works. Then again, if you’re getting lots of cards you cant lay then maybe the opposite side of the pack will be more forgiving.
The one tiny tiny potential issue is that if you’re the sort of players who like to mix packs then this wont be able to be incorporated into others. Still well worth a buy though.
I bought this because I had fond memories of Uno as a kid and was going for a long trip now as an adult. Having a dark side is ultimately what elevates this game to one that is fun and entertaining for grown-ups.
The only downside is that in darker settings the dark side colours look very similar and led to some players incorrectly putting down cards.
The other downside is the dark side was a bit difficult to get the hang off, but once we watched a YouTube video we had it locked down.
My friends and I really enjoy UNO as a classic game to lean back on as fun starter game to kill time but this game is really competitive and mixes up what we knew about UNO as a franchise.
I would recommend it to anyone.
