Beware the ”Rear View Mirror” as a mix of ”Rear View” and the ”Front Camera View. This is caused by the mirror like surface of the display device. It is very disconcerting in normal driving. I have tried reducing the brightness of the picture in normal driving but this does not really help. Then brightness has to be increased manually when reversing. There need to be an automatic turning OFF of display from Forward Camera after initial set up. This appears to be LACKING. Sorry.
The rear camera when situated above rear number plate may get water damage.
Our rear camera picture was looking blank for periods of time after it snowed recently. Hopefully it will dry out so it can be used efficiently.
Good device clear footage and cameras, I would recommend that you measure your rear view mirror and order the correct size as the camera might not pull out enough to go besides your original mirror. I found this out but luckily I managed to force it out further but also meant breaking it a bit. But overall product is brill!
The whole thing is very easy to use and install. The front camera is excellent during the day and night. the rear camera works well during the day but at night the camera loses definition drastically, the cars behind me appear blurred with their lights dazzling the screen. i turn off the screen and use it as a normal mirror at night and the good thing is it carries on recording the front and rea

Dash cam . Not happy about camera is full screen and has no rear view mirro
Can’t really find any dislikes, all positive, compare to other models which can be a lot more expensive. Easy to wire up, if you have a multi voltage meter you could even hardwire it yourself. Overall 10 out of 10.

I’m quietly impressed by this camera. It seems to have an excellent field of vision, is clear and easy to operate. I’ve installed it in my old Bongo and gives much more confidence while reversing. A simple wiring modification means that it’s activated by selecting reverse gear and it shows some distance markers. Seems to be really good quality. I’m not sure about long-term longevity or reliability yet as I’ve only had it a few weeks, but it does seem to be excellent quality. I would recommend and would buy another if I had another vehicle without a reversing camera. Even when it reverts to a mirror, that looks great too.
Easy to fit and does the job well!
I use it as a rear view camera which you can set to come straight onto in the settings menu.
Only reason for the 4* is that the rear camera has to be positioned the right way around which limits where you can fit it, ive had cameras before where you can rotate the orientation on the rear view.
Other than that would recommend
The mirror fits well enough over the existing one (MG ZS EV) and the front camera is in a good position. The power lead is long enough that I’ve run it round the window and down to the 12v socket below the centre console.
The rear view camera cable is stupidly long!! If you have a motor home, there’s no need to buy an extension – this will reach. With the cable hidden behind the internal panels (simple job – just push the wire behind the rubber seal) I decided to mount the rear camera internally and I’ve not noticed any reflections or drop in picture quality from this.
The cameras both have a really wide field of view and the rear camera is now my main rear view mirror replacement.
All in all I’m delighted with this.
We’ve had this in use for a couple of trips now and really impressed with usability and picture quality. We have no rear view ‘through’ the motorhome so this gives a rear view instead. Due to the wide angle lens, vehicles seem way further back than they really are. This takes some getting used to. Also, as with any rear view mirror video player, you have to change your eye focus. Looking in a real mirror you focus at the same distance as the object i.e. a long distance, but of course when looking at these devices you have to focus on the sceeen. It takes some getting used to. It’s great as a reversing cam as long as you angle the rear camera correctly to start with. Just swipe down on the mirror. You WON’T be able to see straight down so cannot use it for bumper to bumper checking when reversing into a tight spot.
When touring, if something interesting happens or, for example, you want to review your drive onto a great suspension bridge then saving is just one tap. Taking photos is just as easy.
Overall VERY happy with the device – and at an amazing price.
Note: Our unit did go wrong. However, the dealer was incredibly responsive through Amazon messaging and Amazon turned up a couple of days later with a replacement – hence still gets 5*. Well done and thank you JMTech.

Can’t get it to set rear view permanently. Each time I start the car, it goes to front view, which I don’t need obviously, as I can look through the windscreen. I know it’s only a couple of swipes, but a bit annoying especially if you forget, then have to do while driving. Seems to work well otherwise, hopefully it will last?

Wiring into the reversing light was simple and gives guidelines when reversing. The rest of the time it is like looking in a mirror – really clear picture of what is behind you – very happy with the quality. I haven’t really used the dash cam yet and there are a load of settings I’ve not looked at as it has just been installed but my first impressions are that it is a great piece of kit for the price. Nice bonus that if you don’t turn it on, it is actually a mirror. It does everything I could hope for in an item like this. Very happy customer!

The cameras are excellent quality, plenty of lead wire to run where required. The image quality is so good, I keep the unit set to Rear and use as a normal rearview mirror.
The user manual is lacking on the dash cam features, nothing about how to use the features Having had other dashcams, I’ve made an educated guess what they do.

Looks well made but would not fit my Honda Jazz due to the sensor panel in centre of windscreen blocking camera view. Gave it to my daughter.
Camera provides excellent quality, the night vision quality is perfectly clear, easy to install although the rear camera is a little tricky
Fitted this without to many issues and I was surprised by the overall quality of the product and software. I have been using it for a few weeks now and find it very useful for watching traffic behind me as well as in front as you get a much better image of things from the camera angle as you do looking out your rear view mirror.

Great for my LWB Ford Transit custom. It’s like having a rear mirror as I mainly use it during normal driving. Just need to buy a smartphone holder mount to attach it to the glass if you don’t have a mirror there. Brilliant customer service too!

Better than I imagined.
I bought this as I drive a van and have limited view behind me. Installation was simple and I set it to start up on the rear view. It’s actually better than a standard rear view mirror due to the night vision giving greater clarity to your surroundings at night.
It comes well packaged in a sturdy, well presented box. Camera quality seems great.
Had a bit of a problem with the rear camera, that was sorted by Amazon and the manufacturer who sent me a replacement. they have also just sent me an updated wiring loom for the reversing part of the kit. very good service and a nice bit of kit.

Bought for motorhome and makes such a difference. I can see curb to curb and keep an eye on the bikes as well. Super quality picture but needs at least street lighting at night. Easy to use as dashcam. Just clips on to existing mirror and front camera pops out to peer around the mirror. Fully recommend.
I made a small polystyrene block for the rear camera as my ECOSPORT has a rear opening door rather than a conventional hatch and it works better as the camera is inside and invisible from the outside.
I love the choice of camera views, ie front camera, rear camera, both simultaneously or dark when you can use the rear view mirror while the cameras record in the background. The field of view is adjustable on both cameras from the mirror and provides excellent visibility.
My only concern is leaving it plugged into the power port for parking mode, will it drain the battery if I don’t drive for a while so at the moment I’m unplugging it.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering the value of such a purchase, it’s easy to use, easy to install, gives peace of mind on todays overcrowded roads. It might even lower your insurance or give evidence if the worst happens.
Absolutely fantastic bit of kit, I’ve owned loads but the picture quality is first class, and there customers service is second to none, highly recommend.
Best thing I have purchased for my van, makes seeing behind me so easy and clear.
Even at night you can still see a smooth video from the camera.
Also I feel more secure now I have footage recorded of both in front and behind.
Great buy and very good value for money. During the day the image is crystal clear and perfect viewing angle, very helpful for cars with poor rear visibility. Night vision works great too. Only thing i would say could be better is the camera fps. When on the move, the rear camera has a noticeable slow refresh rate which causes a slight blur but still very manageable to use.

When I first got this I had a problem with the power keep going off to it. Turned out it was the socket in my car. Easely remmedid by buying a hardwire kit. No more power cuts to it now.
I have an Mercedes SLK and with the wind blocker in you can’t see very clearly out the back. I already had a dash cam in my car but did not like the fact it was stuck in the middle of the windscreen and was always nerviouse when leaving it either out or on drive/work ect. So I got this and I am so glad I did.
It looks good in my car and from the outside with wires hid looks just like a rear view mirror imo.
Cammera was very easy to to install on my boot lid just over the number plate and don’t look to bad. Not too large and gives a good picture even in the dark.
Playback is also easy as the screen is very good and it being touch sensative also makes it easier to use as your not fidling about on the bottom or sides trying to find little buttons.
Soud on playback not so good. Lots and lots of background noise but you can still be heard talking if nessasery. I,e if need to read a number plate out or road name in the event of.
My car is a drop top so when weather nice roof down. That is a problem as you cant see picture if there is too mutch light near it. A known problem for this type of screen apprently.
Not sure how long it will last but so far I am very impressed with it.
Will update when it’s been in for a bit longer.

Have had the camera installed for over a week now and I’m really in pressed with the quality of the images both front and back. The rear camera cable is really long even for my vw sharan, night time images are really good as well & I love the guide lines when reversing they are a great help, would recommend to all. 5 stars can’t fault it it’s grea
i will recommend the possibility if adjusting the dynamic lines left or right as sometimes you cannot fit camera straight in the middle of the car boot
or maybe is on the menu and I missed completely
I am very impressed with it all and also the customer service when the rear camera developed a fault, a replacement was sent with ease to get it all back up and running.
I also bought from somewhere else a VW rain sensor adaptor arm that allows the original windscreen bracket to be used to connect to this mirror (instead of the stretchy bands) when the original one is removed, to give an even cleaner install.
Overall very happy with the kit and service received……..highly recommended.
1. I’ve used 3 micro SD cards on it, 16GB, 32GB & 64GB. Each time it tells me that the card is full. It’s not. Formatting it via the device or via windows doesn’t make any difference. Just keeps saying card is full. I’m using ex-fat.
2. The rear view camera has some kind of interferance lines on the screen when running. Annoying & as I’ve installed this in a van where I can’t see my rear I want this camera on when driving.
I have emailed the seller regarding both these issues & if a solution is forthcoming I’ll update this review.

The seller kindly sent me a replacement camera and all was fine. For the money this isn’t a bad bit of kit.
i liked the fact both cameras record in 1080 HD excellent picture/video clarity, however use mine mainly for rear view headlight glare at night until they get closer. Nice bit of kit for price, also purchased 64GB card and Power magic pro hardwiring kit to prevent battery discharge. (highly recommend this package)
As soon as the back camera (installed inside the car not outside) was on, it shows lines of what i can call interference. I have tried to re-install it to the outside but it does the same.
EDIT: i have been contacted by the seller and they are sending me a new camera. I must admit, i appreciate that they do support the customer and very quick to react so for that i give them 5 stars.
Good value for the money not to mech different to more expensive ones.
Fairly easy to install and set up.
Tested over a few journeys and the recorder works very well, and the images are clear. The rear view camera can get a bit of glare which is avoided with a higher position on the vehicle.
The standard mirror works well, but doesn’t have a ‘dipped’ option. The screen can be a bit bright for night time motorway driving.
Recordings are easily accessed and it’s very quick to snap a picture without interrupting the recording.
A night vision rear camera is great when you’re reversing down un-lit roads.
Better then expected and would recommend. A few tweaks for night driving and this system would be perfect all round.
