Owned for 6 months and it’s fantastic, comes with solid mounting pad and the actual mount is very well built and sturdy. I’ve transferred it between cars a few times and both the suction mount and air vent mount are brilliant. Well priced and I wish I got one sooner.

Suction power good to begin with but once heating is in it drops off plus when phone in holder and car moves it tilts dies not stay in place
It is supplied with a sticky pad, an airvent adaptor and suction pad. I used the suction pad and attached to the window so cannot comment on the other options. It works well with flexible adjustment options. Also found the little video of how to install useful – although in reality very easy!
i’m blown away at how helpful customer service was. this model didn’t fit my car dash, so customer service sent me a replacement which is fab fits amazingly well and not obstructing the rest of the display. full communication and follow up emails to make sure i was happy with the product and it fit correctly. Despite following the instructions to the letter, this would absolutely not stick to the dashboard using the sticky pad. Using the suction pad on the window was great however, in fact it was very difficult to remove the suction was that strong. I’m currently using the clamp that attaches to the air vents and it’s been brilliant. It’s a strong grip on the phone, releases easily, can be rotated so it’s landscape or portrait and the gap in the clamp allows you to charge your phone whilst on the move. Very happy.
Good product, release button was in wrong place for where I positioned it so sent it back. Marbella at Vanmass customer service is really amazing and sent me a replacement on her with the release button at the back. How awesome is that! This is a study holder. Easy to install. I can use it in 3 ways which is useful, depending on how long a distance I’m going. Easy to install my phone with the opening holder frame.

This is by far the best car phone holder I have ever used, the mechanism is so secure that you feel reassured the phone will not drop off the holder or the holder will come undone in case of bumpy roads. Moreover, you are backed by an excellent customer service team who will go out of their way to solve your problem if in the rare case you face any issue. In my case, the initial item I received from Amazon was somewhat faulty but I was contacted by the customer care team and a brand new replacement was sent to me. Happy to report that the item performed as it should and exceeded expectations.

I ordered this product and when it arrived I hadn’t realised that it had a vent clip and I returned it. I have been looking at these products for a while now..gave bought another make in the past and it lasted less than a week..however been really impressed with VANMASS..the product has held very well..and the support is excellent..would rec to anyone looking for a superior product.
I’ve been using this product for a few months now and it is by far the best phone holder I have ever used. I tend to use it using the vent mount and it holds reasonably well but after a while it tends the need to be readjusted but still holds the phone well non the less.
So handy a our car has nowhere to place your phone. Now I can see when using the GPS etc.

I’ve had this phone holder about a year now and it has never once slipped or fallen off. The suction pad works brilliantly and the holder is adjustable so I can get the phone at the right angle to see it properly. It holds the phone securely and the instant release function is really useful. Highly recommended. (It has been used in my Nissan Qashqai and my son’s Suzuki Swift).
Use this in a tipper truck so it gets plenty of abuse and shaking with the off road driving. Solid as a rock. Bought it to replace the previous version which only broke when I caught it on my bag getting out of the cab.
My only gripe is they’ve switched the release button from behind in the middle to a position on one side. Much preferred the old button release to be honest.
For a long time I have been trying to find a phone holder for my car but cant seem to find anything that fits. I ordered this particular item from Vanmass which came in really good condition, you could tell straight away this was good quality.
Sadly this didnt fit in my car and I had to return, and then within a few days I got contacted by Lausanne to understand why this had been returned. I explained my situation and he requested more information about my car and asked for photos of my dashboard so he can further investigate.

Originally I received a broken box with the fixing disc missing, hence why I attatched it to the window.

Holder is good. Holds the phone well and has good easy release. Not a problem with the suction to the dashboard of my car either. The adjustability is good as well. However, there is some wobble when driving and I don’t think it does anything other holders don’t do when it is at the higher end of pricing.
Great phone holder for my iPhone 13 pro max. Didn’t need to remove the phone case. Can’t review the suction power or adhesion because I’m using the clip for the vent in a courtesy car. My phone didn’t slide out and was held nice and tight. holder didn’t wobble or drop and I was going over plenty of speed bumps today. So good I’ve just ordered one for my son for a trip he’s going on on Friday. Highly recommend this produc
This carphone holder is so much better than anything else I have found.
The suction is superb and the product is extremely versatile; it can be attached to a dashboard or mounted on the air vents.
Although I have only been using it for 10 days, it has not fallen off or even appeared to be likely to do so.
It may cost slightly more than other carphone holders, but the product is so much better and others that I have tried.
The customer support from Vanmass has also been excellent.
I’m editing this review beacuse of the excellent back up service I received. I was initially disappointed as my purchase didn’t stick to the dash. This turned out to be my fault as I hadn’t read the bit about not sticking to leather dashes. Vanmass followed up and to make sure I was happy sent me a selection of possibly more appropriate units for my car. I chose a long necked item with a separate support which sticks immediately before the end and supports perfectly. So very satisfied in a roundabout way. Service can’t be faulted

Bought this after getting sick of my old one falling off all the time. I installed it before a long trip away from home, in which I did quite a lot of driving there and back, and lots during the week, so needed my satnav a lot. It stayed put and never moved once. The adjustable arms allowed me to place exactly where I wanted it too, in a comfortable position for viewing while driving. Price was a lot higher than the last one, but well worth it. I’d definitely recommend this phone holder to anyone.
Very nice item and certainly does what you want it to.
However, after installing I realised that when a phone is not in this, it rattles. Rattles are a no no for me so I cannot give this a full 5 stars. Works well, but I like silence when driving.
The phone holder is great, if a little fiddly to get in the perfect position with both the arm position and phone bracket section. But has never moved on dash even slightly.
Just over a year old and the screw broke that tightens the swivel joint. Emailed them and they sent out a replacement immediately free of charge

I installed the product using suction on the windshield. It has stuck there for more than a month now and didn’t give any issues. Hold phone really well.
I liked how easy it was to install and having additional option to install it on AC vents was very handy.

Be sure when you stick this holder to your screen that it’s in the right place. Once it’s stuck it’s difficult to remove although I’ve now sussed it out. It certainly won’t come off accidentally! I do remove mine regularly because I don’t use the same work truck everyday. If it becomes slightly less sticky then a quick rinse under cold water refreshes the gel and it’s good as new.
About a year after purchase the locking nut split and I contacted the company. Three days later a brand new replacement mount arrived FOC.

I’ve since purchased a different style of mount from this company for both my wife’s car and for my car. The suction type wasn’t suitable for either. And the new mounts are excellent.

Its a good quality product however the clip that meant to go in between the air vent bit too big to fit in which leaves me with no choice but to use the suction bracket. I can’t relally comment on the suction quality as I just put on and never took it out. Only time will tell how good it is after few removal and stick on. The bracket hold the phone very well.
The goods arrived on time, they are very robust and light in weight, the parts are very easy to assemble and come with straightforward instructions. The company sent out an email advising that due to the pandemic, the logistics had been affected, the wrong product may have been sent or the products were defective.
I had to send my product back as the suction would not stick to the dashboard, I dealt with Krista, who was fantastic, the product was replaced and arrived within a couple of days, the communications were second to none, I was valued as a customer, and entailed an extremely professional service. This is an updated review, I sent the origin phone holder back to VANMASS as it would not stick on the dashboard of my Corsa. Krista at Vanmass got in touch with me and sent me two different holders free of charge after she had refunded my money and asked if I would try them. One of the holders has a bendy arm so I attached the suction cup to my quarter light window (see attached photo) and it has not moved, it is in exactly the correct position for me. I asked Krista if she wanted me to return the one I was not using but she said no as she didn’t want to put me to any more trouble. I have to say that I have never encountered such good customer service and that Krista is a credit to Vanmass, I certainly would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again. Thank you Krista

This company is trying hard (and succeeding) to become a “go to” brand name in a universe of far eastern nameless sellers. It is clear they think hard about their product and their customers.
I initially gave this product one star but the company reached out to me to ask why I gave such a poor product review and, after explaining, they sent out a replacement item with full fitting instructions for me to try.
I decided to revise my review when I realised that my initial complaint regarding the security pad for the dash not sticking, was because I had not cleaned the surface sufficiently and therefore the suction cup would stick firmly to the secure dash pad but, because I hadn’t cleaned the dash properly, it fell off.
This product is very well made using quality materials and comes with both a dash/screen mount and a vent mount all of which are very well made.
The suction cup material for the windscreen is superior to any of the many other phone mounts I’ve bought in the past and stick very well to either the screen or handy metal base plate provided for fitting to dash, centre consul or even a door because they are so good and strong.
If your looking for a quality product at a good price then this product will not disappoint.
Finally, their customer service is incredible and they respond very quickly and politely to every email so I have no hesitation in recommending Vanmass to everyone.
Give them the chance and you wont be disappointed.
The phone holder works well for smartphones. Adheres really well to glass and has remained in place for a few weeks without a problem, it wasn’t great when tried on the less smooth dashboard top, lasting only a day or so before losing suction.
Military grade is somewhat misleading. The actual phone clamp feels like a well made, heavy grade quality plastic but the extension arm between suction pad and the phone mount is less robust – hardly military grade, but nevertheless, with the base of the phone mount resting on the dashboard top rather than hanging free in the air, it has worked well and remained in position to date. I have purchased several cheaper (sub GBP10) similar items previously and been disappointed every time, so this unit gets my vote so fa
Anyway, it was easy to put it together and even easier to stick it in the right place as low as possible on the windscreen so I can still see the road. I love it, it’s sturdy, it holds my phone perfect and I can adapt the angle as I need it.

I’ve trashed my car’s suspension a tiny bit, so other than bopping along with that (to be expected, it can’t perform miracles and it definitely could have been worse) it was perfect – stayed in place, easy to install, easy to adjust and easy to release and input phone (Samsung S21 with Spigen case). I’ve had others where my phone’s gone flying half way round a roundabout whilst I had Google Maps on, and I’ve had to wing it the rest of my journey or pull over, but this didn’t budge at all, at least on the 8hr journey I tested it on.

I did what was instructed…
I cleaned and stuck the black disk on my dashboard…left it to adhere… stuck the suction cup phone holder onto the disk. But the whole lot fell off a day later and I couldn’t remove the black disk from the suction cup!! Useless and went in the bin!
I can only use the phone holder part that connects to a vent.

All the other drivers have moaned they could never find something that would stick to the inside of our Scanias because of the texture of the plastic… this stuck right too it.
3 months later and it’s still stuck where I plonked it and it hasn’t moved an inch. Brilliant product and like that it’s extendable in length too.

I had high hopes for this product after seeing good reviews and thought for the price it would be good quality. Packaging was great and it was easy to set up. As soon as I mounted my phone it rattles, even with music on I can still hear it. I don’t need to be going fast either, in the video I am taking a turn so would be going about 10mph. I tried my girlfriends phone which is smaller and it was also rattling. Really disappointed.
Love the fact that it has lots of different ways to connect your phone so I could try various things. It’s got lots of little levers to move it in all sorts of directions. I used the dashboard one in the end and then have the phone come down from that. Have used it on a couple of longer journeys and it had stayed in place well with just the suction pad. Pleased with it so far!
This works really well. Not difficult to put together. I did not use the adhesive supplied as I may want to move it around depending on whether I am driving or a passenger. I like the multi position adjustments for the angle of view, and the quick-release button is a good touch. My iPhone XR fitted easily, and it’s replacement 12 even more so. There was a small rattle initially until I realised it needed tightening up – no problem. Pleased with this purchase.
So, what do I like?
The air vent system. Easy to apply and once closed, it fixes the holder securely. Big plus IMO.
The size of the holder itself. I have a large iPhone and it holds it securely. Again a plus.
The holding system secures the phone securely to the holder. You simply squeeze the grips until it holds the phone tight. To release, you press a release button. Simple, elegant. Love it. And I’ve purchased at least 4 of these gadgets before this one, three of which failed within a short period of time. IMO, this is the best I’ve seen.
And some attention to detail. The power attachment on phones goes in the bottom. So for the cradle, the designers have put a groove for the cable to run smoothly into the phone. OK, obvious detail. But the point is, the phone rests on the base and is held tightly at the sides so is very securely fixed to the dashboard. While I don’t want this to happen to me, I suspect the phone would remain attached even in a collision, it’s that secure. But I don’t aim to test this.
I was able to position my phone exactly where I needed it with ease
The vent fitting is one of the best I have seen, it has a locking mechanism to grip the vent very securely, although will continue to use the screen mount that has GREAT adhesion,
The movement of the phone is limited despite the arm being at it’s full extended position
The locking mechanism to hold the phone is secure and quickly releases without any problems
Bought a second one as a gift for a family member, would certainly recommend

My only criticism is that if your like me, right handed, driving a RHD car and mounting this on the right side of your steering wheel, then releasing the phone is not as easy as it could be because the only release button is on the left….which is where your steering wheel is. If it had 2 release buttons then it would be perfect. I personally can’t easily release my phone, if it had two release buttons it would be so much better and cater for all drivers regardless.

So I thought I would update my review following contact from Krista at VANMASS about my experience.
I posted my review originally to allow people to make an informed decision on what they are buying and also to help VANMASS in making a product that would better please everyone.
I have to say, that the customer support I have received is 2nd to none, 1st class and totally unexpected, Krista thanked me for my review and offered to replace my product with something she felt would solve my issue, sent to me without charge! I have now installed my new cradle (serial no. F4BC21) which has a central release button on the back at the bottom, Perfect!! If, like me, you are unsure about which product to buy then let me say this, you wont go wrong with one of these!!
I am now 100% satisfied and very pleased with my purchase, the central release button version makes it perfect regardless of where you place it and which hand you use.
The customer service has been fantastic, Krista has been brilliant, polite, courteous and efficient and I would have no hesitation in recommending VANMASS products to anyone. Service like this is hard to find but when you do its worth every penny.
