Ne ho acquistati 2, questo per la bici Gravel e un altro di tipo diverso della stessa marca per la MTB, sono perfetti, resistenti e mi permettono di caricare la bici sull’auto senza sporcare niente. (nel mio caso riesco a far entrare la bici sull’auto senza smontare la ruota, per non tutte le auto hanno un vano di carico posteriore cos capiente).
Li uso anche a casa per conservare la bici che uso di meno al riparo dalla polvere.
se utilizzato con un porta bici da gancio traino consiglio di fare qualche prova prima perche’ in base agli attacchi bisogna gia’ fin dal montaggio sulla bici posizionare le cerniere in modo corretto.

In general, it’s great. Quality product.
Few notes though: size – I have followed instructions and measured my bicycle carefully. Should have fit with some extra space, but was quite tight anyway. Please, do measure bicycle before you buy it. There are also instructions on their web site.
Position of openings – I use small bag on the frame and therefore have to fix bicycle on holder by seat post or frame below. Opening is too small for that. However velosock is stretchy enough to handle this issue.
Ein hochwertiges Rennrad ist nicht gerade gnstig. Daher war es mir sehr wichtig, ihm einen schtzenden berzieher zu verpassen.
Er sollte so konzipiert sein, dass ich das Rennrad allein damit umhllen kann.
Nach einigen Versuchen anderer Hersteller habe ich diese vollstndige Fahrradabdeckung gefunden und auch als praktisch und gleichzeitig als modern und innovativ gekauft.
Ich kann die Fahrad-ABDECKUNG allein dem Fahrrad berziehen.
Sie ist sehr dehnbar, und die Reiverschlsse machen keinen rger.
Fr mich die perfekte Fahrradabdeckung.
Nach meiner Vatterrundan wird sich zeigen, ob sie allen Widrigkeiten standgehalten hat.
Verarbeitung und Passform sind gut, den Outdoortesr muss es noch bestehen; nicht ganz gnstig.
Hochwertige Rennrder sind teuer, der Weg in den Urlaub ist lang, daher habe ich mich bisher immer schwer getan, das beste Rennrad mit in den Urlaub zu nehmen. Beim Transport auf der Wohnwagen-Deichsel war der Straendreck danach in den kleinste Ritzen und ein adquater Schutz, der nicht flattert, ist schwer zu finden.
Die Hlle von Velosock ist hier die perfekte Lsung. Vorab, ich bin relativ gro und fahre einen 61er Rahmen, fr das extrem dehnbare Material aber kein Problem. Auch kann ich die Probleme mit dem berziehen nicht nachvollziehen, wobei zu zweit geht es schon einfacher, das stimmt. Aber nach dem ersten Mal komplett problemlos auch allein zu schaffen.
Es gibt auf beiden (!) Seiten einen kurzen 2-Wege-Reiverschlus,s um den Haltearm des Trgers durchzufhren und dann wieder zu schlieen, und unter beiden Reifen Reiverschlsse fr die Riemen des Trgers. Maximaler Schutz bei maximaler Stabilitt, auch wenn 2 Rder versetzt transportiert werden.
Die Version hier von Amazon ist nicht wasserdicht. Dafr gibt es vom Hersteller eine deutlich teurere Version, die aber m.E. unntig ist. Es sollen Dreck und Salz abgehalten werden, reine Feuchtigkeit ist meistens kein Problem. Beim Transport bis 110 km/h nur minimales Flattern am Lenker (bei mir 44cm), das wird lange halten. Danach ab in die Waschmaschine und das Cover sieht aus wie neu.
Schn, dass ein Aufbewahrungsbeutel und zwei kleine Beutel fr die Pedale mitgeliefert werden. Letztere sollte man mindestens ber die montierten Pedale ziehen, ich habe die Pedale allerdings zugunsten der Langlebigkeit demontiert.
Fazit: you get what you pay for. Kostet etwas mehr, aber wird mich sicher viele Urlaube begleiten und bei dem Preis eines hochwertigen Fahrrads relativiert sich der Preis fr den Schutz wieder. 5 Sterne!
We recently had to travel with my road bike and I wanted to ensure it was protected from any road debris given the roads in the parts of Suffolk we were travelling in. This worked nicely for protecting the mounted bike and also comes with pedal covers that are really useful even when not using the velosock!
Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Rennradabdeckung die nicht komplett im Wind flattert und sich aufblht, sodass man nicht noch zig Spanngurte anbringen muss auerdem wichtig war eine einfache Bedienung und genug ffnungen fr Befestigungsmglichkeiten am KFZ-Radtrgersystem.
Die Velosocke hat diese Anforderungen eigentlich erfllt-lediglich der ein oder andere Reiverschluss drfte etwas lnger sein, kann jedoch mit etwas Fummeln dank des Stretchgewebes ausgeglichen werden. Montiert habe ich ein Rennrad auf einem FIAMMA CARRY BIKE (Van mit Hecktr).
Die Haltepunkte des radtrgers konnten alle angebracht werden und das Reflektorschild (zur Fahrt in Italien/Spanien) konnte man einfach mit einer Gummischnur durch die Reiverschlussffnungen am Trger befestigen.
Mit ein bisschen bung kann man ein Rennrad gut alleine in Socke stopfen”. Somit is Handling mal 4/5 Sternen – wie gesagt leichter Abzug fr die teils zu kurzen Reiverschlsse – auch wren Verschlussschnre an den Reiverschlssen geschickt um zwei miteinenander verbinden zu knnen (kann man aber auch selber machen 😉 )
Der Stoff ist wie beschrieben schnelltrocknend und erinnert an ein wenig an ein gefttertes Winterradtrikot. Der Inhalt bleibt also nicht trocken sondern wird feucht – war fr mich jetzt kein Problem- mir war wichtig Schmutz und Dauersonne etc. Abzuhalten – das macht die Velosocke auch.
Zur Qualitt: hab die Socke 4500km durch Sdeuropa bei Sonne Wind und Regen gefahren und mehrfach das Rad rein und raus – auf den hecktrger und wieder runter – sie ist noch ganz – jedoch im Bereich des kettenblatt und an den Ritzen is der Stoff aufgeraut und vermutlich bald durch. Die Reiverschlsse laufen noch und sind nicht ausgerissen. Eine Verstrkung auf der Innenseite im Bereich des Kettenblatts und der Ritzel, ggf im Bereich der schnellspanner/steckachsen, wren mMn logische und sinnvolle Features (ich hab mir mit 1-2 gezielt angebrachten Streifen Panzertape beholfen und damit vermutlich die Lebenszeit der Socke deutlich verlngert. Natrlich war die Socke hinter dem Van bei mir auch deutlich besser vom Fahrtwind geschtzt als evtl auf nem PKW oder dachtrger.
Der Preis is schon ordentlich :/.
Die Verarbeitung gut.
Die Haltbarkeit hmm man muss schon sorgfltig damit umgehen 😉
Alles in allem eine Kaufempfehlung, wenn einen der Preis ned abschreckt.
Die Velosocks sind der Hammer. Passen fr jegliches Fahrrad, auch mein e-Bike hat problemlos Platz.
Eiziger Nachteil ist der dnne Stoff an den Punken, an welchen sich die Rder auf dem Trger berhren. Hier ist schnell ein Loch entstanden. Diese Stellen werden nun mit Tchern von mir ausgestopft und somit ist das Problem nun auch behoben.
I purchased a velosock recently as driving to s.spain with my bike on rear rack of car and was hoping to keep it clean if the usual road grime . After a couple of practice attempts in my house I got the cover on my e-mtb in a few minutes with some trial and error following YouTube videos.
I took the pedals off to stop any rips in the material although it is extremely stretchy , pedal bags are included. There are zips so you can still fit your locking rack bars to the bike and wheel straps if you have them. I was also able to wrap extra locks around the bike to connect to the rack itself and zipped it all back up. It’s a well thought out multi zipped design.
Now the bug.
I drive a Leon estate and I couldn’t see anything behind the bike using any of the cars mirrors. It definitely doesn’t flap but with 29″ wheels protruding out nearly as far as both wing mirrors and with the cover over the bikes frame also meant no rear mirror view.
Luckily my trip to the port was short, at night and was over pretty quickly. I left it on for the ferry journey but took it off at the port as it was just too dangerous to drive with it over the bike. Good news is the bike was still clean up to this point. I’m sure driving a 4×4 / people carrier where the seating and mirrors are positioned higher than the bikes frame this may not be a problem with a hitched bike rack attached but the advertising picture is misleading. So advice is to check before you buy that you’ll be able to see behind when driving. The advertising picture shows an estate car so I wasn’t aware until I drove with it on for the first time just how limited any rear view would be. This will definitely keep your bike clean but the cover may be an advert to what is beneath. If you have room in your home a clean or dirty bike could be kept in the velosock. On the rear of a motorhome it would do it’s job perfectly.
Bought 2 of these for our gravel bikes. They work very well for keeping the bike clean if you travel dusty roads. Was worried about the wind drag, but it is not too bad. Works great with a platform hitch rack and all the access points let me use the rack’s cable locks. Takes a little practice putting it on by yourself, but very easy with a 2nd person. Only shortcoming is the top zipper, can be difficult to close after putting the bicycle in. I had questions and Velo Sock’s customer support responded quickly on the weekend.
Was noch optimiert gehrt ist die Imprgnierung des Materials. Mein Bike war am Auto montiert und ber Nacht regen Regen ausgesetzt. Die Feuchtigkeit ging durch. Also als Regenschutz ist die Hlle definitiv nicht geeignet! Zudem hatte ich bereits nach der ersten Fahrt das erste Loch im Velosock – vermutlich hat der Windzug whrend der Fahrt den Stoff am zweiten montierten MTB “scheuern” lassen. Aber mit dem mitgelieferten Reparaturpatch, konnte das Loch entsprechend einfach wieder geflickt werden.
Letztendlich muss man aber auch sagen, der Velosock ist ein Gebrauchsgegenstand und wird auch dementsprechende Gebrauchsspuren davontragen. Die Frage ist wie lange es dauert bis div. Lcher an div. exponierten Stellen z.B. Pedale, Schaltwerk, Bremsscheiben etc. entstehen.
Aber zusammengefasst tut die Hlle was sie tun soll – der Velosock schtzt das Bike whrend der Fahrt (Steine & Staub), liegt sehr eng am Bike an und ist somit auch eine sichere Transporthlle, die auch bei 130 km/h nicht davonfliegen kann. Durch die vielen Reisverschlsse ist die Hlle unglaublich flexibel und man kann auch problemfrei mehrere Bikes am Radtrger montieren. Fr mich ist genau das der Kaufgrund! Und man sieht zudem auch noch durch den Rckspiegel den Verkehr hinter einem.
Housse vlo de route trs pratique et de trs bonne qualit. Il faut un peu trouver le truc pour la mettre en place la premire fois, mais une fois qu’on a le coup c’est top. Bien ajuste au vlo. Belle qualit.
La cover fatta veramente a regola d’arte. Il tessuto molto elastico e si adatta perfettamente al telaio della bici. la cover ha tantissime zip inserite nei posti giusti che consentono di chiuderla quasi completamente vicino alle staffe che sostengono le bici al portabici. Noi abbiamo acquistato la versione per bici da strada. Siamo veramente soddisfatti dell’acquisto. L’azienda molto seria ed affidabile, abbiamo ricevuto il pacco prima del previsto e ci hanno aiutato a risolvere un nostro problema relativo all’indirizzo di consegna (a causa di un nostro spostamento l’indirizzo variava in base alla data di prevista consegna).
Funda elstica y resistente que se adapta perfectamente a mi MTB elctrica. Muy bien diseadas las cremelleras para poder colgarlas o transportarlas en remolque.
Zweiter Eindruck nach Gebrauch.
Nach insgesamt 1400 km auf dem Fahrradtrger, haben die Velosock Schmutz und Regen von den Fahrrdern abgehalten.
Leider hatten an einer Stelle beide Fahrrder Kontakt. Dort scheuerte sich das Material durch beide Velosocks so das jeweils ein Loch von ca. 0,5 cm sich bildete.
Passt super gute Qualitt gute Verarbeitung

Works very well and fits snugly on my 26 inch downhill bike. The cover seems really great quality and so far has kept my bicycle clean and dry through some light rain.
It’s great to keep the dust off in the garage but I love the design, so I might start to bring my bike indoors from now on 🙂
Some other things I love about this cover:
* placement of zippers, which make the cover adjustable for both my trunk rack and indoor wall rack
* the elastic material
* easy to fit (when you follow the instructions)
Finally I found what exactly was looking for. First time I saw this cover when I was visiting my friend in Germany and thought what an amazing idea!
First of all – I’m keeping my bike at flat. It is very, very good solution to keep my bike safe and it’s keeps my house clean from the dirt.
Secondly – My car type is saloon. So I’m just putting on that back seat and I don’t need to worry it will damage my interior. It sorted out a lot of problems for transportation.
It is not only practical but looks also very decent on the bike!
