Arrived quickly, doesn’t take up much space, easy set up, and literally just place your controller on top overnight and the battery lasts all day (even if you’re using it all day).

Great charger for my controllers. It charges quickly and white suits me better than black due to the room theme. Only downside is it doesn’t charge elite 2 controllers on the dock. But I can charge with a USB lead plugged in the back of the dock

The charging unit is lightweight. The white batteries fit in my XBox One/Series X controllers. There is good indication on when the batteries are charged with the lighting system on the front. Great purchase.

As someone who keeps putting controller everywhere, it’s nice to finally have a “home” for a controller to sit & its always charged to boot.
The battery pack was a little tight to install but it works with my series x controller no problem & I wish the dock had a little more weight to it as it moves around the TV stand with ease.

Do what they are meant to
Quality seems fine & they charge the controllers fairly quickly. Do remember this item comes with new back battery covers & at first we thought they did not fit but soon realised hidden within the packaging they include 2 sets of back plates – obviously dependant on which xbox controller model you have.
Time will tell how long this item continues to work but does the job fine, well worth the purchase especially as they were reduced at great price.

Wow ! awesome product, expertly boxed. Excellent quality, TWO metre long lead, battery, two xbox covers for the two types of xbox, and the charger unit. Shows flashing red = battery problem, green = fully charged and red = charging. I will definitely recommend this supplier and would always purchase from them again. Works perfectly with the Series X controller, also comes with two different backing plates.
Charging is instant when the controller is placed on the dock and changes colour depending on charge state.
Cannot comment on longevity as only had this for a short time.

This is a very aesthetically pleasing dock, good price point, works well. Had some problems with durability; the usb-c head bent out of shape, which is a shame as they had invested in good quality wiring. One of the pins on the dock itself also bent, easy fix, but I’d recommend being perhaps a little more careful replacing the controller than I must have been.
TLDR, think it’s a very good product, but handle with care.

I bought this for my son who was burning through batteries. He loves it. At night he can just plonk his controllers on charge and the next day they’ll have enough charge to last all day. As an added benefit, unlike a lot of docking stations this one has two controller ports meaning if he has friends over they can also play without the need for batteries – or if he forgets to put one on charge, he always has a spare.
These work a treat and are fantastic value for money – they pay for themselves in batteries alone!

Having had for about a month now it’s been great as it comes with the rechargeable batteries and the charge dock. So it’s a must have for new Xbox owners who like me, forgot the controllers need batteries. It’s also going to be great for Xbox owners who need a replacement. Good value and charge time. The only small thing is that the charge is only about 80% capacity. But that’s still plenty of gaming time
A great docking solution for Xbox
Have used multiple Venom Xbox Controller Docks now and they’re superb. Good quality and work as you’d hope them too!
Only slight annoyance is the overly bright LED on the front of the dock, small bit of tape soon solves that issue though!

A long lasting rechargeable battery, I am quite a heavy gamer so the battery sees plenty of use and still keeps on giving. My only complaint is that the design of this battery is not compatible with their previous version forcing you to by a new charger along with the batteries which is annoying when you still have a perfectly good working charger. But this aside I would have no hesitation in recommending this battery.

I did a lot of research and review reading before purchasing an Xbox charger dock.
This product had the least bad reviews compared to other Amazon products and ones on other known retailer sites.
Despite this I was still sceptical, reviews explained battery not charging to full or dock breaking quickly.
I have had this for a while now and have had no issues, charged each day (due to a lot of gaming) and have had no battery issues or dock issues at present. I can see how the product is prone to faults though with the two pins on the dock being fairly fragile and flimsy. If you are cautious when docking the controller and when removing it you will be fine though.

Been seeing some reviews where people claim they’ve had difficulty putting on the cover for the battery. I can only assume they’re trying to use the cover designed for the Xbox One controller on a Series X/S controller, and vice versa. The cover went with on with no issues or need for extra force. The controllers sit perfectly in the dock too. Battery life seems really good. No complaints.

This unit works really well.
My previous charging dock was very temperamental and troublesome (a different brand).
I’ve had this dock for several months now, so it’s well tested and it has been fantastic, without any issues at all. It plugs into a USB port on my games console, so doesn’t require a spare 13 amp wall socket. Highly recommended
Great product - does exactly what it needs to do
I’ve had these batteries a couple of weeks now and I find them to be great. I’ve used them for hours of gaming and had no issues. What I noticed when I attempted to fit the batteries was the back covers seem to have 2 for my Xbox one controller and the other two are slightly different to fit either the newer or older controllers which is nice!
I have found that when I plug my headset into my controller that they drain quicker but that was the same issue with batteries! The bonus of these are I can recharge the batteries without having to buy new all the time!
The problem I had was the batteries discharging after being left on the charger (plug turned off) when I went on holiday for a week and came back to them completely drained. Other than that they do charge slowly and can take a couple of hours from my experience but I just swap to the second controller while the other charges so it’s no issue for me.
Overall I’m happy with these batteries and they work as intended!

Exactly as expected. Although its not really robust and made of thin plastic, it does what it’s supposed to do (other reviews have complained about flimsiness – I can’t imagine what they’re planning to do with it)

Of note – other reviews state that the supplied battery pack doesn’t fit their controller. This is why there are 2 different ones supplied of different sizes to account for this.
No wasted ports but fussy placeme
Overall a good product. You may need to be accurate with your placing as sometimes it may not charge and just sit there, plus there is an additional USB port so that you don’t use all your ports on your device.
Saving a fortune in batteries!
When I bought the new type of controller for my son, I didn’t realise it wouldn’t fit on his existing charging dock, so had a few expensive weeks as he powered through batteries and kept emptying all the remote controls and everyone’s gadgets in the house! This does exactly what it is supposed to, and his older style controllers will charge on this one too, which is great that we don’t have two separate docking stations powered on all the time. On a side note, the new style controllers are apparently much better according to my 13 year old, comfier to hold and reach all the additional buttons, and he can play for extended periods without getting sore hands. Customer service from Venom that make these is fab too, as I had questions re compatibility before purchasing and I got quick response both times I contacted them, within the hour. Highly recommended.

I used this product as an alternative to Microsoft’s plug & play kit and I have to say that I’m very impressed! I’ve used similar Venom products before so I knew that this was a reputable company.
This product includes the dock, batteries and battery covers for both the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. I found the batteries difficult at first to insert into the controller but once I did I had no issues, it looks sleek and does everything I expected.
Only slight issue I had is that it would be good to have the option to turn off the LED lights for the dock because I find it bright and distracting in the evenings with the lights off.
Needs better instructions
Long battery life and mostly plug and play, but the battery packs themselves could do with instructions on how to put them in. There is a notch on either side, one is a square between two metal contacts, and the other side is a straight line notch. The metal contacts on the battery pack need to be placed with its metal contacts on the left hand side (while looking at the back of the controller), if you try to put them the other way it will look like it’s too big.

Work perfectly
I have 2 of these now, they both work perfectly and don’t get hot. The battery charge lasts long enough for me, easily 4 hours+ on a full charge, then you just pop the controller back on the base unit for next time. And with the price you’re saving money on regular batteries after just a few weeks.

Great bit if kit. Turns out I saw it a fair bit cheaper off of Amazon following my purchase. A little switch on the back to turn it off rather than having to remove the controller or unplugging the cable when it is sat there fully charged would AVE been such a good addition though.

The charging station and batteries included are great bang for buck! The battery life for my controllers is great and allows for me to not have to worry about changing the batteries every couple hours which will save you money in the long run. Venom always make reliable products so I do recommend these!

I can’t believe I spent so long messing about with batteries, sensitive usb cables and the like when this glorious piece of kit is just out there waiting to improve your life.
It comes with batteries and battery covers that have slots in them so the controllers can charge without plugging anything in or taking out the battery. Just plug the power cable into the base and off you go. L-o-v-e i-t.
Money saver!
My daughter was going through batteries at a rate of knots so needed a new option and this charging dock is it, I think within about 2 months I will be saving a tenner a month. Happy about that.
The Dock itself is really cool, plugs into the xbox by USB so you don’t need another plug socket, when you place the controller on the Dock it lights up red o show its charging and turns green once charged.

I hesitated on upgrading to this but I shouldn’t have worried, it’s an excellent bit of kit. Comes with backs for XBone and XBSERIES controllers so it’s backwards compatible.

Xbox Series S
Not only did I have the battery round the wrong way for over a month and only figured that out tonight haha I’ve wondered why the back didn’t seem right to me as wouldn’t be able to charge it with that on. Now I know why. I’ve just been using the cable you get with the dock and plugged it into the back of my XSS controller for the past month. So from Xbox to controller. Doesn’t charge it but let’s you still play regardless.

Absolutely no issues, we’ll packaged, does exactly what it should do no problems. Easy to install you just plug it into the xbox and it starts charging the controllers. Comes with 2 rechargeable battery packs for the controllers so I thought this was good value for money as I’ve seen some that are just the charger ports for the same price. Depends what you need I guess.

Got this for my son when we got a new Xbox for his birthday as console controllers have to be the nemesis of EVERY battery manufacturer out there! To be fair this docking station NEARLY became my sons nemesis when he was trying to put the packs in the back of his new controllers but he got there in the end and the controllers are doing well!
