I bought this to make notebooks and so far it has worked really well. The blade cuts through 5 40-page notebooks+covers with ease. It was fairly easy to assemble although the instructions I had did seem to be for a slightly different model.
My only complaints would be that the top ruler does seem to keep slipping despite being tightened and a fixed stopper along the side would work better than the magnetic stopper provided.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. It was a good price and does the job I need it to.
I bought this guillotine to cut photo paper to make phonebooks with accurately cut pages. I is quite heavy , but it needs to be to ensure it remains accurate. Put it somewhere it doesn’t need to be moved all the time.
