Victagen Battery Charger USB for AAA C
– Household Battery Chargers For 3.7V Batteries 18650 Li-ion BATTERY 14500
– Ni-MH/Ni-Cd BATTERY AA AAA C (2* 18650 Rechargeable Batteries Included)
– LCD Display (Universal battery charger)
Sturdy batteries charger of a good quality that is a good size for travelling. It’s simple to use, plug and play. LCD display tell you how far the charge is going.
This battery charger doesn’t take up much room but is still big enough to charge different sizes of batteries.
It charges batteries in a relatively short time, saves money, and doesn’t take up much space, an all-around winner, no complaints at all.
As long as this stands the test of time I’ll be very happy with this product.
It charges well, there’s no electrical buzzing, it doesn’t heat up and charges 18650 to 4.2v. The amps change depending on the volts (% full).
Comes with two 3200mah batteries included and connects via USB cable which is very convenient.
Maybe not the fastest charger but I feel it’s safe and reliable. There seems to be a lot of hit and miss “vape chargers” performing poorly for whatever reasons but this one seems good and for the price with two good batteries included, good buy.
This is a brilliant charger that has given me the most unforgettable experience.
It charges any categories of AA batteries and does fast charge them all.
The led displays is another additional that makes you know what level of power are there in your battery which is amazing.
Its just brilliant.
This is a great one-size-fits-all charger! It charges pretty much any rechargeable single-cell battery – sadly it can’t charge more exotic types of battery which use a connector or balance cable, like drone batteries – but for everyday batteries it’s a perfect.
It couldn’t really be any easier to use, the charger plugs in with a standard micro-USB cable, a regular wall charger for your phone will do the job. Then it’s simply a case of slotting whatever battery you’d like to charge in to the slot, and waiting until the readout shows fully charged.
It also shows info for battery volts and amps for anyone who wants a bit more insight, but there’s no settings you need to mess with as it auto-selects what’s best for the battery you’re charging.
No complaints except I wish it had ports for connecting batteries which use balance cables, xt30/xt60 etc, but I guess you can’t have everything. It’s a thumbs up from me ^_^
Great simple charger. It’s lightweight so easy to carry in your backpack and has a nice LED display to show the status of the charge.
The LED light always stays on so if you are going to put this for example in your bedroom than bear that in mind.
Great product for a great price.
First off this works really well, and charges a large variety of batteries including AAA, AA and C which is mainly what I wanted it for.
The device doesn’t get hot whilst charging, has a nice little indicator display to show charging progress and plugs into USB.
The included batteries seem to be becoming more common, I’d never seen them before a few months ago and I’ve got a couple of devices that use them now, I’ve only tested them in a portable desk fan but they worked well too.
I use this for charging my torch batteries. It’s easy to use and has a nice simple display Not only that your charges at the battery is nice and quickly and doesn’t get super hot unlike other charges.
This is a great little charger.
You can charge many different types of batteries and you can do it everywhere even using a power bank.
The charger comes with 2x 18650 batteries and has no issues charging them.
I have also tried charging AAA and AA batteries and there is no issue charging them, but it takes some time to position them inside, without them popping out.
You just need to place them exactly in the center of the holder and they stay in.
When charging batteries the charger shows the voltage and amperage and also it shows a graphic of the percent of charge. The price of this charger is 21.35 ,which is a good price for what you get.
The 2x 18650 batteries are big part of the price so the charger itself is on a really low price.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
This battery charger arrived well packed. It works really well and it’s easy to use. It looks quite smart. Good value for 21.35 currently.
Well designed charger which can charge a range of batteries. Lcd display let you know the percentage of the battery power remaining to be charged. It comes with 2 x 18640 rechargeable batteries 3200mAh each.
Not a main power device but you can use any USB power outlet to power this device.
This is going straight into my camera bag, no more worries to charge my flashgun batteries. At the time of review this product was available for 21.35.
his is a 2 ports battery charger for wide range of li-ion and ni-mh/ni-cd rechargeable batteries, it’s a standard charger that output 1a for li-ion batteries and 0.45a for ni-mh/cd batteries, well i have faster chargers that output 2 times to 4 times current than this one, but they’re bigger, also use power adapter than usb cable, so this one got its advantage, much convenient and handy even for travel or keep in car
there is a lcd display at the top panel, i can clearly see the battery and charging status, the charger is a bit intelligent as it could charge different type of batter at the same time, it will adjust the best charging voltage and current
no complaint as it does the job pretty well, i wish the charging port is usb-c as i don’t really want to keep old micro usb cables anymore
anyway, i’m very happy with this product, would recommend
hope you find these information helpful
I got this for myself to use at home/ camping, cycling
We have several rechargeable torches and lights that use this style of batteries and i sometimes find it slow to charge using the standard usb cable plugged into a usb outlet slow.
It arrived in the branded box shown on removing your meet with a well made charger x2 18650 3200mAh batteries a usb cable. I got to charging straight away the large led screen is bright showing the charge progress and volts. The main unit is well made and durable, its versatile i have used this plugged in and over the past few days i tried this with a solar panel plugged in which charged the batteries not as fast as mains but it was good, this is useful if your camping and or you like cycling on evenings you can charge during day for night or evening use.
I have charged several batteries in the unit as can bee seen in pictures without any issues no over heating, over all im super happy with the charger and have no issues recommending this
This charger is simple to use and works with a range of battery sizes. Nice spring mechanism, without being too springy, meaning the batteries don’t launch out of it when removed.
Works great with AA and AAA as well as the 18650’s it came with. It displays the charge of each battery as they charge on each side. This is useful (better than a simple green light to show full charge) in case you require multiple batteries to reach a certain level, as once that level is reached the battery can be switched quickly for the next.
Plug and play via USB means the charger can be easily plugged on to a computer or an on the go battery ( power bank ) when out and about. Very handy if rechargeable batteries are used for outdoor photography and torches too.
The battery in the store photo of the product was not needed by me. But because it is compact and fast, I had to try this product. Because the big charger in my house charges normal and small batteries.
Also, it is not a product that can be carried on vacation or in the car. You can even put this product in your pocket. This is an amazing thing!
First of all, it can charge 4 different batteries.
1- It charges the battery you see in the product store.
2- It charges a battery 1 level larger than the battery size displayed in the store.
3- It charges a battery 1 level smaller than the battery size seen in the store.
4- It charges a battery that is 2 levels smaller than the battery size seen in the store.
(I wrote it like this because I don’t know the names of the batteries. I’m sorry)
I have attached video and photos for your better understanding. Because I need such reviews on products like this and I benefit a lot.
It can also charge a 1100MAH battery in about 10-15 minutes. This is a pretty ideal figure. Because the most used batteries are the standard or the smallest batteries. Everything is ready in 10-15 minutes!
It can work with USB.
-It has a Digital Display.
-It charges fast.
-If you connect with a higher quality charging cable, it will charge faster. (For example, try charging it with the original Samsung New Model charger, it is much faster)
This charges up quite a variety of batteries. It charges safely and quickly, without overheating. The visual indicator is accurate and helpful charging time is fair. Build quality is brilliant.
Fast charger, all types of battery, and most important its safety.
I have multiple torch with different types of battery and this one it’s so perfect.
USB charge
This charger arrived with two large batteries. I also tried it with my AA ones and it charged them well. I think the fact that it charges different sizes is a huge plus for me.
It’s quite a smart one too so I was happy that it shows you how they are charging and when they are ready.
I think this is a good charger and I recommend it.
I’m not going to write paragraphs of words that you’re not going to read, because all you really need to know is that this is great.
Great, simple, small, portable, compact charger that can charge the 2 18650 Lithium batteries that come with it or A, AA, AAA or AAAA. Fairly quick recharge times as well and great for travel.
For just over 21 at time of writing it’s a very good deal however there’s some alternatives offering the ability to charge 4 batteries at a time rather than 2 for a very similar price.
I bought this charger for charging my existing Ni-cad AA & AAA battery.
After using it for a few weeks, I have no complaints.
The charging is fast and the indicator makes it easy to know the level of charge.
As a added bonus received 2 Li-ion BATTERY, which i have to find a use for.
over all happy with the charger and would recommend to every one.
I have always used other brands of batteries and had no idea these existed. These batteries are miles better than my previous ones. They lasted me nearly a full day before discharging. I’m now going to replace all my old batteries for these. It’s great to have this charger and a couple of spare batteries. The charger works with AA, AAA, C and a variety of other batteries
Victagen Universal Smart Charger, Speedy Battery Charger For 3.7V Batteries 14500 Li-ion BATTERY 18650, Ni-MH/Ni-Cd BATTERY AA AAA C (2* 18650 Rechargeable Batteries Included), LCD Power Display. It has spring loaded connectors which slide so you can fit any size battery in it. Which I think is a very clever idea. It shoes the level of each Batteries charging.
21.35 at time of review. 5*.
This is a very nice compact battery charger. I like that fact it’s powered by USB, which means if you’re out travelling, you can charge AA batteries using just your usual assortment of USB chargers (just remember a micro USB cable). This also means you can charge from a powerbank. (which in turn could be charged via solar panels) – providing you with an ability to recharge AA batteries off grid.
It even comes with 2 rechargable AA batteries, which is nice.
Overally, I’m very impressed by this.
This is a fairly entry level smart charger for all types of batteries.
It is much more detailed than a simple dumb charger that has a red/green light for charging / charged, but isnt the most detailed out there. Some now have apps, show the states of batteries etc, but this does not. However for most people this is plenty.
The included batteries are not great, but if you are using these for vaping, they will be fine in a regulated mod. I would NOT and I have to stress NOT trust these in a mechanical mod as there are no amperage ratings on them and I know nothing about them. So I wouldn’t trust them at all in a mech, but for a regulated mod with safety chips etc, they are fine. Not the best capacity ever but they do work ok.
Overall a good entry charger for 2 x 18650 batteries.
Victagen Universal Smart Charger
I love how this battery charger can charge most battery sizes available in our household, tho I use this for more common ones like AA and AAA. The LED monitor quickly reads the battery charging status and voltage. It reads ERR if you place the battery incorrectly. Otherwise, you’ll see the flashing bars when it is charging. It is too early to say if it will last long, but judging from its structure and safety labels, I trust that it will do well. Will update this review in any case. Recommendable.
I am trying to use more rechargeable batteries to help with landfill etc. This smart charger does the basics of charging your batteries, but also has some extras. For one it has a large display screen that clearly displays how far the battery is charged. It has a spring function so that it works with a large range of batteries. This includes two included 18650 batteries. I don’t know what these are used for, and they seem like big AA batteries that won’t fit in anything I own. A couple of AA or AAA would have been better for me, but if you are in the market for some 18650 you get them!
The charger itself does not come with a plug, but this is the case with many tech items now. It has a USB that plugs into a USB ready plug you already have. The fact that it can take a lot of different size of batteries makes this a useful charger to have around. It is well made and solidly built.
Fast to charge . Would have been better if it came with a selection of batteries
Brilliant charger as it fits a few different battery sizes. Comes with a USB charger which I’ve got plugged in to my solar panel (got to save money where I can with todays electricity prices!). Charged my batteries really quickly even on solar power.
Been looking one to charge my existing CR123A batteries for Arlo camera, as the existing playing up.
This is a step up – a good upgrade, it has charging indicator and percentage, also built quality is pretty decent.
I can also charge different size of batteries simultaneously, and also via powerbank.
Great little portable charger.
One thing I would request would be to add usb c charging port or perhaps a reverse charging function.
This charger is extremely useful for charging all varieties batteries.
It is small and compact, accepted all different sizes and seems to charge very well with no issues so far.
I will be using this to charge my batteries in my Nvidia shield remote but I also have AA NiMH and 18650 batteries to charge.
The ampage auto selects and it stops charging wince the battery is charged.
The only negative I can give is the fact it uses micro USB. Micro USB is known to bend after a lot of use and if it was USB C it may have been able to charge at an even higher rate.
If you don’t need more than 2 batteries charged at a time, this is a great all-round charger.
In the box you get the main charger, a micro-USB charging lead, two 16850 batteries (3200mAh) and instructions. Not bad value for around 23 (at time of review).
It’s a basic charger in that it won’t tell you the capacity of the batteries, it won’t let you discharge them, etc. What it does do it charge at a sedate pace and tell you the voltage and level of charge. There’s reverse polarity protection too. You can fit AAA, AA and C cells, as well as the long list of Li-ion batteries (26650, 26500, 25500, 22650, 22500, 20700, 18700, 18650, 18490, 18350, 17670,17500,16340(RCR123),14500, 10440, 10340). Great for everything from torches, vape pens, etc.
Having a micro-USB port means you don’t have to pay for yet another mains transformer, which keeps the cost down but also means you can use it virtually anywhere. In the car, from a power bank, at home, etc. Idea for travel as it’s so light.
Does take a while to charge, being low power USB, but if that’s not an issue (overnight for even the largest cells) and you only need 2 at a time, it’s very reasonably priced and you can’t go wrong.
So easy to set up and the fact it comes with rechargeable batteries means it can be used straight away. We go through loads of batteries and I spend quite a bit on them in a month so decided to try rechargeable. I’m definitely converted and have just bought more batteries online so I always have some charged ones. Great that it takes 3 different sizes as that’s all I really need. Would recommend this as it’s a sturdy little charger that isn’t too big and bulky.
This set arrived reasonably well packaged in a retail box and inside you get the Charger, 2 x 3,200mAh Rechargeable Batteries, USB-A to Micro-USB Power Cable and Instructions.
It is all pretty simply to use, and the display is clear and easy enough to read. Not only does it show a graphical representation of the charge level of the battery but also the voltage and amps when charging.
When I first popped the batteries in, one was fully charged, and the other was around 75%. This one was getting around 4V/1.04A. I left it charging for 15min and during that time it got 248mAh. At that rate it would take approx. 3 1/2hrs to charge the battery from flat.
I have some head torches and other lights that take these types of batteries, and it is handy to have some spare batteries and the ability to charge them using a PowerBank when out and about, which this charger will do.
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.
I enjoy camping a lot and I also use may different gadgets which run on batteries, so I got this smart charger from Victagen to try out to recharge some of my rechargeable batteries.
Victagen’s smart charger is capable of charging two batteries simultaneously. It features two slots for battery charging and features intelligent charging, which automatically detects Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries. It can charge two different types of batteries simultaneously or separately.
To monitor the charging, the smart charger has a built-in LCD panel that displays the charging parameters and progress. Meanwhile, its micro-chip handles the intelligent charging, protecting it from overcharging, over current, overheating, and short circuit. It also automatically turns off the charger when not in use.
It’s a fast charger and an 26650-battery charging at 4500mAH can be fully charged within 4.5 hours. An 18650-battery charging at 3000mAH can be charged within 3 hours. Meanwhile, an AA battery at 1000mAH can be charged within an hour.
The smart charger package includes a Victagen universal 2-slots battery charger, two 18650 rechargeable batteries, a 2.1 USB charging cable, and a user manual.
I find the smart charger convenient to use. I don’t have to worry about compatibility since it’s universal, and I can charge batteries in the car, which is very useful during camping trips.
Overall, I find this a great help since I use devices that run on batteries. It’s easier to recharge and bring it along during my travels. I recommend this, especially to those who enjoy camping and need something to recharge their devices.
I have some devices that use a number of batteries and are always needing changing, thanks to this handy recharger I can now purchase rechargeable ones and us this to charge them up.
The design of this is easy enough to store away and get out when required without taking up to much room like ones I have had in the past.
Overall I am very happy with this.
14500 and 18650 batteries are becoming increasingly common, especially in things like torches. It’s great to have this charger and a couple of spare batteries. The charger works with AA, AAA, C and a variety of other batteries, but I only want it for 18650s such as those supplied, and perhaps 14500s.
The charger is quite slow. I haven’t timed it but it takes a good few hours to go from empty to full. Allow much of the day or overnight. It’s as fast as charging batteries directly in torches and other tools, though. And slow charging will be better for the batteries.
I was surprised it comes with a USB-A to micro-USB cable rather than A to C or even C to C, but I don’t suppose it matters. The display is very useful and seems accurate in its estimation of charge level.
For the current 22.69, the charger and batteries seem good value.
This is a handy little charger which is very easy to use and charges various sized batteries two at a time. It shows how much charge is left in and flashes the charge indicator until fully charged, however with older batteries I have found this is not reliable when checked with a known to be accurate battery tester.
The two batteries that came with the charger are great and I have several items that they fit, dog clippers being one and the batteries provide good power and decent charge life.
It’s powered by USB so can be used with your PC, laptop, mains adapter or even a power bank.
The quality is ok but the spring loaded battery holders are a little flimsy. At 26.99 it’s not bad value considering the batteries that come with it. If you don’t need the type of batteries included then there are cheaper alternatives around though.
: Top Tip : This charger will charge pretty much any rechargeable battery. But check compatibility here on this page first, as using the wrong battery could damage the charger.
: Top Tip : This uses a USB cable as a power source, not a 3 PIN mains plug, so have a spare USB plug ready to use, to plug this into to get charging quickly.
: At 22.69, reduced from 26.69, at the time of writing,
This :
: Victagen Universal Smart Charger, Speedy Battery Charger For 3.7V Batteries 14500 Li-ion BATTERY 18650, Ni-MH/Ni-Cd BATTERY AA AAA C (2* 18650 Rechargeable Batteries Included), LCD Power Display
Looks to be a very capable, and well powered, battery charger.
But…
Is it any good?
Is it good value?
Will I get a lovely cup of tea , at any point during this review?
And possibly even a biscuit ?
Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should take a closer look… …

The 2-slot battery charger complies with the directives and Standards requirements by CE RoHS FCC UL.
It has built-in intelligent circuit protection will protect against short circuit, overheat, and over voltage. Meanwhile, the discharge function can decrease damage done to batteries by not fully discharging them before a full recharge.
This is all great to know.
It will keep my batteries, and my house the way I like them.
Not on fire .
The charger is compatible with a huge range of batteries.
It should charge pretty much any rechargeable A/AA/AAA/AAAA/C batteries.
You should check compatibility here, on the product information page before attempting to charge, as the wrong batteries could damage the charger, and the batteries.
The built-in LCD will monitor real time charging status and battery percentage independently while charging, showing the progress in real time.

Ooh, lovely…
Recommendation :
I do not hesitate to recommend it highly.
The battery charger, and the cup of tea.
Biscuit ?
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
This battery charger is so handy. There are many occasions where I need to charge batteries but only have access to low voltage supplies, so most battery chargers being mains powered, is an issue I was looking to resolve. Being able to charge many types of rechargeable batteries via a USB port is so useful.
The charger works really well, is really well put together and feels good quality. As soon as you insert a battery the backlit display will show the voltage, current and the level of the individual batteries connected. It all works really well.
There are 2x 18650 3200mAh batteries included, that could be used to power various devices, as this is a popular lithium battery size
Overall very happy with this charger. Recommended
Good size and value for money with the two free batteries that comes with it. it is also flexible and able to charge AA or AAA batteries.
This charger plugs into any USB charger and allows you to charge AA, AAA or the included IMP18650 3200mAH batteries.
The graphical display shows the voltage, current, and the current charge level so that you have all the information available.
I got this to charge batteries away from some torches I have, which can be a faf with connecting the torches to usb cables. This allows me to charge the batteries separately and 2 at a time. The included batteries are actually of a very decent capacity, significantly more than the ones in my current torches, so that’s a bonus.
The unit plugs simply into a usb cable and has quite a nice backlit blue display. When charging, the display shows the battery power level along with amps and volts being charged in real time. This gives the product a cutting edge feel, I really like that.
I’ve charged the batteries for a couple of hours and the unit doesn’t get excessively hot at all.
A very nice, good looking product that does what it’s supposed to, very well.
This is a good charger for a lot of different battery types, straight forwards but with a couple of useful features.
Pros:
Charges a huge list of batteries from the AA’s you see in your house all the way to some way less common ones, This includes the 18650 that would be used in some torches and e-cigarettes.
Has a battery charging indicator on the screen that shows when it’s charging and how much current it is charging at.
The screen also shows you the current voltage of the battery which increases in real time as it charges.
Comes with 2x 18650 batteries, these are claimed to be 3200Mah but i don’t have a capacity tester to check the claims so cannot really comment on them.
Cons:
The batteries have no undervoltage protection, not a massive problem provided the device you are using has LVC(low voltage cutoff…) Most devices are equipped with a smart battery system that automatically shuts them off. Just be sure to recharge them once you have finished, to make sure they don’t end up damaged from low voltage,
The batteries do feel a little loose when placed in the charger but this doesn’t affect the overall performance of it provided the contacts are in place properly.
All in all it’s good enough to charge batteries safely and you don’t need to guess how much there is to charge as it tells you current voltage, uses a USB cable rather than a 240v connection which is more ideal for me as I have wayyyy more USB ports around the house than mains sockets.
“Long Story Short”
Slim design
Great vibrant screen
Absolutely easy to use.
Charge batteries with an ease.
Value for money 10 out of 10
This battery charger arrived boxed with instructions charging cable and 2 batteries
The charger cable is a usb meaning you can charge it off your laptop etc as well as a usb plug so it’s quite handy to have options,
The battery charger has metal type prongs that slide up and down to fit various sizes of batteries. It came with two 18650 Rechargeable batteries which I tested the charger out on, and they charged quickly.
However I don’t have any items that take these batteries! They are quite big and I’ve not seen them before. I will be purchasing some rechargeable AA and AAA rechargeable batteries separately as these are what we use the most of. Even though I take my old batteries to supermarkets to be recycled, to be able just to recharge them it a much better option and must less waste!
This small dual cell slot multi battery charger doesn’t take up much space and yet can charge many types of cells. It came with two pcs good quality 18650 3.2v rechargeable lithium ion batteries.
This charger can also charge my other 26650, AA, AAA and my C size batteries. It can charge many more types and the intelligent charger can differentiate between ni cads and lithium batteries! This I like very much.
The unit has an attractive blue back lit LCD which is easy to read the charge times and information at a glance.
The charger unfortunately is not a fast rate of Amps charger but that’s OK as I pop the batteries in early evening and they are done by the time I get up.
The unit looks quite nice and made from good quality ABS plastics and looks luxurious. The micro USB cable plugs into the top and the unit looks uncluttered.
This charger is plenty for me to use and I am very pleased with it and especially the powerful lithium ion cells which work great with my flashlight.
This is a very good charger and I think the price is great value.
This charger recognises whether alkaline or lithium batteries are being charged, you may charge one of each. You get a display which shows the charging state.
Another plus is the fact it will take C batteries — quite unusual. A minus is it only charges two at a time.
You get two lithium 18650 rechargeable batteries. I have a couple of torches they will fit, handy to have a spare at the ready.
This battery charger will charge a ton of types of batteries like AA, AAA’s and also many other. One device will charge different types of batteries, the build-in LCD display will monitor real time charging status and battery percentage independently while charging, making the charging process visible and efficient. Built-in intelligent circuit protection will protect against short circuit, overheat, over voltage.
Love this charger!
Like a lot of people I’ve been increasingly been making the switch to rechargible batteries over the past couple of years so I’m always on the hunt for good simple easy to use chargers and this fits the bill perfectly. This came extremely well packed and in the box you get a simple user guide, the charger itself, a micro USB to type-A charge cable as well as a couple of 3200Mah button top 18650 batteries. Lets tackle the charger first is literally foolproof simply insert your batteries into the two slots, connect the unit to a USB mains adapter, computer or power bank and watch your batteries charge up. The screen displays a very simple graphic which shows the charge status of 1 or 2 batteries I haven’t tested how fast this charges different battery types but with a high quality third party micro USB cable this charged up a couple of 3000Mah 18650 cells in around 2.5 hours from nearly flat so very impressive. The batteries only warmed up slightly during the charge process and termination was perfect bang on 4.18V so absolutely perfect. The included 18650s are of high quality as well as even when using these in my custome Emisar D18 torch which uses 18 Osram W1 6000K green leds, it can sustain turbo brightness for a good minute before stepping down due to the light hitting my thirmal ceiling limute so these arn’t the cheapy repackaged batteries you find floating around all over the place. For your average person this charger is one of the best as there arn’t any buttons to press, no settings to adjust so it is absolutely foolproof so I’ve got absolutely no hesitation in recommending this charger and battery package and of course the adition of a couple of 18650s is a nice touch so whats not to like?
Delivered in its own branded box
This battery charger comes with two batteries included and a usb charging cable .
A full charge of the unit takes between 3-4 hours to charge the batteries fully .
It’s easy to use and if you’re like me and have lots of grandchildren with battery operated toys it’s a bit of a bargain .
Priced at just under 27 . It’s great value for money ( I say this after buying 300 batteries at Christmas which cost a whole lot more !)
This charger can charge 2 batteries at the same time, 1 on each side. It is powered by a USB cable, and the really good thing about it it has a very clear, easy to read display which indicates the battery level when you put them in and the charge status at a glance.
It could be your standard AA and AAA batteries however this charger come with 2 x 18650 batteries which aren’t a common size and unless you have a specialist product to fit these in, it is unlikely you’ll have much use for these, so whilst they are actually very good quality batteries I would’ve preferred a set of standard AA which will be much more use around the general household.
Still a good quality, robust, well-made charger.
Some good features on this battery charger but also a few downsides:
Good points:
– it comes with a good long lead so it can sit a reasonable distance from the USB power supply
– the sliding anodes hold most batteries well (anything AA or larger)
– charging is effective
– doesn’t get hot while charging
Downsides:
– smaller batteries (AAA size) have to be carefully positioned and can be knocked out of place easily
– the charging display shows charging voltages etc properly but seems to indicate batteries are fully charged before they actually are (testing them on a separate battery tester).
Overall, giving this 4 stars as, despite the balance of pros and cons, anything that decreases use of disposable batteries is a good thing.
This is a great little device to have in the cupboard. More and more these days products are moving towards rechargeable batteries, or even if it’s a choice on your part to use rechargeable batteries, with this product you’re saved the expense of buying new batteries.
All my rechargable batteries don’t need charging yet, but once I’ve had the opportunity to utilise this product I will update my review. So far so good, it’s small enough to be put away neatly ready for use.
This is a handy charger to have.
It’s USB operated which gives me so many ways to use it home or away.
USB is virtually a standard connection type worldwide now on many products such as tvs, computers and so on.
I can use this charger in my car as well which is handy for charging my rechargeable AA and AAA batteries.
This charger come with 2 x 18650 batteries which on there own are worth around 10 each and are high capacity batteries.
They charged quite quickly but I think they was already holding a charge anyway.
I did charge a couple of AA batteries which where flat and they charged pretty quick in my opinion.
The great thing about this charger is you can see the charge process on screen. You can see the voltage that the battery is at and how full or empty it is.
It charges up at 0.5A for each slot.
There are 2 slots for charging 2 batteries.
You can charge a multitude of batteries but the most common tend to be AA and AAA and of course the 18650 batteries that come with this charger.
The charging slots have sliding connectors which alter to each size of battery to be charged.
The charger also comes with the required USB cable to plug into a range of devices.
I’ll use this in my car, with a power bank and also in USB plugs to charge up my AA and AAA batteries which I have a lot of.
Overall this is a great product at a good price especially with the 18650 batteries included.
Please note:
The charger that I was sent out to test by Amazon does not correspond with the photo in the advert for the product above. Please see first photo of mine as this is the product this review is for. It is called the Victagen N4 plus battery charger as detailed on the supplied box and has a different LED Display.
The battery charger seems relatively well made and takes upto two batteries to be charged at a time. It has a clear blue LED display showing you the state of the battery in bars indicating the existing or current state of the battery. The Voltage and amps are also displayed.
The charger plugs into a USB plug to charge, the USB cable is supplied but you will need to already have a USB power adapter or will need to buy one. Alternatively you can plug it into a computer USB port or power bank etc.
The charger comes with two yellow rechargeable IMP18650 3200mAh Lithium Ion batteries.
The device according to the packaging is compatible to charge the following batteries.
IMR/Li-ion :
20700
26650
18650
18500
18490
18350

I tested the unit with both 18650 Batteries and rechargeable Panasonic AA Batteries and had no problems charging them. You do need to make sure that the battery is lined up correctly and fitting snuggly to charge, but similar to most chargers these days with this – as there is a little movement. The batteries charged with no problems and quite quickly too.
The battery charger seems fine, it does not seem to get hot or overheat like other makes. I found no issue with the charger whilst testing it.
It comes with a small instruction booklet that is easy to read, although the charger is pretty self explanatory anyway.
If the supplier would like to send out the charger that is detailed in the photo, I am happy to test this. I have removed one star as the advert picture did not correspond with the item that I was sent, although the actual product that was delivered was good.
I hope you find my review helpful. Thank you
Universal battery charger with LCD display and micro USB input. Comes included with 2 18650 3200mAh rechargeable batteries, although I don’t have any devices I know that take these. The description looks like it may be from a slightly different product as it describes using the charger also as a power bank, although the charger I have doesn’t the USB-A socket as shown in the pictures and there is also no mode button – this is the reason it didn’t get the full five stars. The charger I got also comes with an LCD display rather than LED lights. That said it does seem to successfully charge batteries which is its main purpose.
