On low light setting it was still usable not just showing the position of my head, on full no problem to do intricate work. Have not tested the battery for run time so can’t comment. Good for the price
Bought this after reading previous reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Purchased then half price offer.
Excellent value for the money and the light is very bright- lights up the dark road when I’m out running
Would recommend
Have already purchased a Petzl Tactikka for myself ( amazingly light to wear) very pleased with it & 2 double packs of Lepre LE lamps ( 1 pack as a Christmas gift for. Nephew & Niece). All these are spot on pieces of kit.Having seen the Ghost hunters wearing these on “Spooked Ireland” i decided to give it a go.Only arrived yesterday & hav’nt tried it but – what a piece of kit at half-price and rechargable!.Which the others aren’t..Having said all that i’m well kitted out for long dog – walks on dark nights.Thank- you Amazon.
Very bright, lightweight and easy to use.
Bought it for my dad to do some work in my loft and he was raving about how bright it is and how well he could see in a dark space
And there was and some! Really impressed, just got the torch(es) and put straight to use. Comfortable on the head, adjustable beam, bright enough when working in crawl spaces and difficult/tight areas. No mini torch stuck in your mouth trying to fettle with cable or pipe fittings.
Came with charger so will see what life you get out a fully charged unit. But so far so good.
May the light be with you
A perfect item & a must have when in regards to cycling at night.
The light is so bright I have had truckers flash me to reduce the light whist facing oncoming traffic.
It has three functions with a flashing option also.
I especially like the recharging capacity as I HAVE SPENT A NEEDLESS FORTUNE ON AAA batteries on inferior models in the past.
As a cyclist of whom uses his bike for work this is a must have.
The instructions only tell you one useful thing. Before you can use the torch, remove the rubber cover on the battery pack, remove the plastic wrapped around the batteries and fit them as shown. conect the charging lead to a usb power source(the charging socket is under a little rubber cover on the power pack), the panel on the back of the battery pack goes red, turning green once the batteries are charged. The on/off button is n the top of the light unit. The first press turns the lights on, further presses going through a cycle of combinations, finally turning it off. I found the elasticated straps difficult to adjust, but the lights are very bright. I have not used it long enough to determine battery life.
I work in a pub and take in beer deliveries early in the morning 3-4 times a week. There is very little in the way of outdoor lighting in our delivery area, so at this time of year when it still isn’t light at 8am, it’s hard to see what I’m taking delivery of so this Head-torch is ideal and lasts a good while on one charge….love it !
Absolutely amazing headlight. Battery life is over 1 Day. Very good quality
It provides a lot of light for running, but I find it quite bulky and uncomfortable to wea
I have been using my Victoper V3000 Rechargeable Head Light most days for about three weeks. I bought it to guide my way on my pre-dawn runs along dark, deserted Devon country lanes. It appears of robust design and has an ‘on the head’ weight of 267 grams. It fits very comfortably and firmly on my head (with or without a beanie hat on) and produces a nice powerful light that lets me see both well into the distance and what is immediately in front of me. There is the option of a main beam only, main beam augmented by two side beams, or just the side beams. The main beam alone is perfectly adequate for me, but the two side beams do give an added sense of security, and may assist with spotting ice in the cold winter weather to come.
I have tested the head lamp with all three beams switched on and found I got about 2.5 hours out of a full charge. If you do not use the side beams as well this length will increase — though like all rechargeable batteries they will deteriorate over time. The light is supplied with two unbranded 18650 3/v li-ion 2200mAh batteries. This is the budget end of the 18650 range. My research suggests I will get a better charge length using 18650 batteries with a higher mAh rating. When the batteries supplied eventually expire on me, I intend to upgrade. 18650 batteries are readily available on the internet if not on your local high street and are said to be rechargeable between 300 and 2000 times depending on the quality of the battery (and some of them command very high price tags!).
Supplemented by my front and rear body lights, this head lamp perfectly meets my running needs. It beats a fellow Club members far more expensive, trendy brand head lamp hands down!
Twenty years or so ago, I took part in after dark trail running. I wish it had been available then. It is far better than the low powered head torches that we had to get by with then. Equipped with upgraded batteries and, possibly, a spare set as well, it would have been a god send. How things have moved on.
I have many sets of lights this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had they are ridiculously bright and last longer than all of my other lights I’ve had I strongly recommend these ones
It’s bright, but you can adjust it accordingly, fits well and is comfortable. It’s great for strolls at night, foraging, walking the dogs — finding the poo, and probably anything else you’d want to do when it’s dark.
Perfect for firework night. Exactly what I needed. If I had a second head to put it on, I’d buy it again.
It’s a bit uncomfortable to wear if you don’t put it on righ
I got this for walking my mum’s dog when dog sitting.
It’s nice if not a little on the heavy side. Okay for walking in though.
Great for walking the dog on dark mornings and nights
Well priced, looks robust, does the job. Distress signals features in programmed sequence.
Nice job, could be a bit more comfortable around the head through.
Bought for extra lighting while out dog walking. For the price its just whats needed, so happy days
Great product for the price and good customer care. They sent me an email after delivery to point out batteries are sealed in plastic and to remove before charging
There is no denying that it is quite bright and it is enough light-up the path and trees when taking the dog for a walk BUT I have a hand torch rated at 1,200 lumens and although this is meant to be 6,000 lumens, it is not 5 times brighter actually the brightness is about the same so either my hand torch is achieving something it shouldn’t or the 6,000 lumen claim is questionable.
Apart from that, it is comfortable to wear and provides a bright light hands free which is perfect for cleaning up after your dog in the park and for playing fetch with him.
Don’t regret buying it but I was expecting a little more brightness from it.
Great amount of light, I use it to walk my dog in the dark mornings
Very heavy though so I’m not sure I could run with it o
Quite impressed with this head torch. Very strong beam which is very useful on dark autumn nights. Comfortable fitting with easily adjustable straps. It would be useful to ensure that buyers know that this takes 18650 batteries rather than AA’s or something like that but apart from that, it is a solid torch for the price. I have not tested it in heavy rain yet but the units looks quite robust.
Brightness is absolutely amazing! Aswell as the long lasting battery life.
Brilliant light for walking the dogs at night. Super brigh
I liked that it was adjustable for my head, and very bright.
Great head torch would highly recommend walking my dogs lights the way for us in the woods etc and there is even a small red light on the back which is great to let cars etc see you thanks.
Great product, description was excellent – just as it is, great lights!!
Very good design, comes with heavy duty rechargeable batteries. Adjustable torch and battery pack at the back. Not the lightest in weight but it more than makes up for it in function.
Really comfortable to wear and easy to use. Ideal for the dark winter nights
Had less than a year and the batteries started to smell when in use.
I’ve had mine ages now
Done hours and hours of out door work with it.
Out in all weather and put away wet!.
Still like brand new
Good purchase, strong light, medium battery life. However, hard on forehead, no protective pad
I use it for my barbecue. I absolutely love it as I can clearly see if the meat is undercooked or not whereas before it was more of a guessing process and the ambient light just distorted everything.
However with this bright light, it’s a new world and a new beginning for my barbecue adventure 🙂
Used for one night shift on the railway, its bright and seems to charge quickly, not done a full 12 hour shift with it yet so I can’t comment on the battery life ,its held up for 5 hours or so..so far, my only gripe is lack of adjustment on the brightness like the more expensive led lensers…but they cost 5 times more so its a bargain for the price.
For a super bright head torch it is fantastic although at times can be too bright – needs a setting which is less bright as well to be honest but it seems reasonably robust. Can be a little uncomfortable to wear though which looses it the 5th sta
Despite the fact that the main headlamp is quite large, the straps still make it comfortable to wear. I use it mostly for hiking and camping, so I can’t say how good this would be for more active sports such as running. However, I would imagine the straps could be adjusted to cater to most conditions. Would recommend.
Used for diy in low light areas. Also to keep in an easy to find place for emergency use or power cuts.
For what they cost you cant beat them. Definitely not like my petzl but great as a back up
It’s a large head torch but comfy enough for long periods. It’s very bright, which is why I got it. I used this in heavy rain for about 45 mins and it worked great. Still works great. Battery seems to last long. I haven’t ran out of battery as I recharge after every use. I haven’t tested to see how long the battery lasts but so far I’ve used for over an hour on full brightness. Bargain.
Use for dog walks as a result of pathetic street lighting. Spot on! Less need one assumes in summer but would be good for many dark areas. Holds battery life well but depend on how many lights you use. To be honest one light is enough but has flashing option for bikes as well.
This is a really great bit of kit. Lights up large areas really well when fully changed. I use it for working on vehicles and on the farm in the dark.
For the money it’s really worth it.
Battery life is OK if you don’t use it constantly but could be better.
Otherwise happy.
Bought two of these as the brightness is brilliant. We use them for walking dog after work at this time of year in the dark, as they’re head torches it frees your hands up to hold lead etc. They are quite heavy but functional. Batteries last about a week before charging needed. The only improvement I’d recommend is a power indicator so it’d be easier to know when to place on charge. Would recommend
Very pleased with the three headtorches I purchased for my children for Christmas, great lamps. but one has developed a fault, a lamp has stopped working, I would like a replacement but cant find out how to achieve this. Other that this problem, they are great headtorches and well worth the cos
most impressed by how bright it is.only quibble is instructions which are useless as they don’t say about charging.doesn’t mention that light at back of battery pack changes from red to green when charged manual just states 4-6 hrs charging.but overall am happy and would definately buy agai
Quite big compared to what I had before. Not used to a power pack at the back but got used to it quickly. Only issue I have found is it switches off when battery is low rather than dimming so I charge it regularly. Great value
The headset is comfortable to wear and provides excellent illumination on any of the operating modes. Battery life is great, I particularly like the fact that you can charge the batteries via the included USB cable and do not have to remove them.
Brightness is around as claimed at 600 lumens, good for running/mountain biking. Battery life is good and fully rechargeable. Good bit of kit, performs better than 100 equivalent, save your money and get this. Sturdy aluminium construction. Only gripe is the rear battery compartment only has a rubber seal and doesn’t seem sturdy enough.
Only used a couple of time had no problems so far seem a good bit of kit, not many firm email to make sure everything is OK with product, in my experience would recommend there product to friends and family.
I had a 10 millets head torch for dog walking, but after using this one I realised it wasn’t great. This torch is really bright and covers a good distance. Heavier than my previous model, but you soon get used to it. It fits securely on the head and is easily adjustable. In all, I am really delighted with this produc
I use this product for dog walking mainly, the differnt settings are superb, you have to play around with it to find what suits. Also use for working on car when hands free is essential. Great product for the price. Probably get 3hrs or so constant battery life.Very glad I bought it.
My son has the torch he finds it is excellent.
This head torch does everything it says it will, the intensity of the light is awesome,it dazzles people from quite a distance away, easy to use 4 modes by way of the same switch on top of the torch, BE SURE WHEN CHARGING 1ST TIME TO REMOVE PLASTC FILM FROM AROUND THE BATTERIES. Batteries are easily accessed by removing the waterproof cover.I use it for dog walking and the light penetration is superb. i havent had the need to use all 3 lights together as the central light is more than sufficient ,i cannot fault it,charging initially took approx 5/6 hours but subsequent times have reduced significantly, idefinately recommend this head torch.
Bought as gift for my daughter when she has to see to her horses in the dark. She finds this very usefull as it leaves her hands free and has a brilliant light.
Very nice Head Torch 4 torch modes: Main, Sides, Main & Sides, then Strobe! USB charging and can be angled. feels comfortable!
Good headlight with what seems a not so bright back red light but is great value for money and so far not re-charged after 4 nights, so a good start.
Good brightness with the 6000 lumen and great coverage.
The only criticism is the flashing light setting is annoying and don’t find it that useful.
