Purchased this to replace a cheaper lower quality doorbell that we were using for around 6 months. This doorbell camera was so much easier to set up, the image quality is a million times better and it’s packed full of useful features that should be standard.

Weak motion detection. Each morning when the milk is delivered it has not detected him. Sometimes the paper being delivered has not always been detected. But will sometimes detect a person walking along the street. Thinking of changing it.

This is just a great doorbell with chime. You can set it to pick up as much or as little as you want. Battery lasts months and fully charged within a few hours so you won’t be without the doorbell for long. Picks up motion in a timely fashion with the ability to live watch for 3 minutes at a time. Had an issue with getting a European plug for the chime, alerted owner and received the correct plug 2 days late
Not being the most technically minded person out there, I found the Video Doorbell easy to set up. There was the slight complication of what to do with the the now “old’ doorbell that needed to be thought through, but that was solvable too. The app setup was as straightforward as most other apps, with not issues there either. As for how it works, it’s fine. I get notified when someone visits, I’m able to speak to said person. I’ve not taken up the subscription to store videos, maybe that’s one for the future. The quality of sound and video is good and overall it’s been working as expected. My understanding is Ring doorbells are the go-to in this area. I haven’t used one, but noted this one is 10 cheaper. Not sure what you get for the extra 10, but this one works just fine for me.

This is a very nice bit of home security that makes you feel a bit safer that you know who’s at your door before awnsering it especially when I have 3 young kids in the house it records in 1080p it has 2 way audio so you can talk to the person aswell it has night vision which is really nice and the picture even in dark is very clear it is a big device so make sure you have sufficient space by your door to hang it it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries also comes with bracket, screws and instruction as well as a charge lead it connects to your phone so you will be notified when anyone or anything comes within proximity of your door honestly a great wireless doorbell that’s made me feel safer so I highly recommend this product and deserves 5 stars

You have the doorbell/camera plus the USB charging cable and a couple of fiction screws with plugs and a leaflet telling you to download the instruction manual for setting it all up, ( personally I like a printed instruction manual ) included with the product for future reference
Firstly I’ve put it on charge to fully charge it this didn’t take long as it was half charged already and after reading the instructions leaflet I downloaded the Aiwit app from the App Store then just follow the rest of the instructions
I found it was very easy to pair the doorbell with my iPhone it was just a matter of going onto the app press add then go to the items and press doorbell you are then asked for Wi-Fi password then after you have connected to your Wi-Fi you’ll get a barcode appear on your phone and all you do is hold the phone and doorbell facing each other approximately 4 inches apart it will then pair the two together
Then it’s just a matter of fixing it to your door frames or where ever you want it
Having fixed ours to the front door frame I found the quality of the pictures to be of very good quality in the daytime and equally as good at night
I was a bit disappointed with the chimes having a two pin plug ( this being a European standard plug) and I had to find an adapter before I could not use it fortunately we had one
Having plugged the chimes into an electric socket and connected to the doorbell it actually works fine and
With the chimes working not only will you get notifications on your phone but also a ring inside in whatever room you have plugged the chimes into, and on a notification that someone is at your front door not only can you see who’s there but you can speak to them, but I didn’t find the voice all that clear
The doorbell has a couple of reasonable sized batteries and went fully charge should last for you for about two months but obviously it depends on how often you view the videos previously taken and stored on the app
I was very impressed when I pressed the replay button and was able to see who’s been to our front door while we were out and found that the pictures were very clear,
all in all a good quality product that does what it’s supposed to do but disappointed with a two pin plug

With a lot changing to smart these days upgrading the doorbell is a must and getting one of these is worth it and easy to fix too. Comes with a wireless doorbell powered by 2 rechargeable batteries does last for two months max. With easy docking, batteries can be replaced or recharged when flat. The doorbell has a nice HD 1080P cam for live streaming or recording & support’s cloud storage for later usage too. Cam supports night vision and motion detection to give instant alerts via notifications on phone. Have 2-way audio with a clear output either to communicate with the delivery guy or warn the intruders. To connect the device to wifi needs an App to install and make the best use of features. Can be used on its own by chime to ring when someone presses the button, chime have different sounds and adjustable sounds too. Have the bell smart for safe & ease.
Video dorbell was easy to set up. The app is good and has good sensitivity in real time. When someone approached my doorstep i get instant notification and I can go directly to the app to see who is there. I can speak to the person first before opening the door and check who came. That’s good safety feature. When someone rings the bell, about 2-3 seconds later I also get ring bell on my phone and notifications that’s someone is outside my door.
Doorbell connects via WiFi so no wires are needed. We can screw in the casing of the doorbell to the wall or door frame (scres provided) and using a tiny black screw, secure the camera itself to already mounted casing. I’m not 100% sure is it enough to secure it by just one tiny screw but in other hand, we will need to remove the camera for charging at home..so it can’t be so difficult for us to do so..
We used the sticky pad to attach the camera to our door. 3 days already and it’s still there, hopefully the sticky tape will not let us down..
The app storing videos from when someone is near the sensor of the camera. All of the videos can be seen through the app. Its usually a 20 second long recordings, sometimes longer. The app also gives the option for a Cloud subscription which obviously is not free.. From my experience I will just stick to the free version. Its enough for our needs.
I like the app as its very easy to operate. I set up sensitivity distance to the medium. Before, when was set on full, every buss passing after getting dark, activated my camera and I got constant notification that someone is outside. After changing the setting, everything is perfect now with it.
The picture from camera is good, in colour. It’s good resolution and can even zoom the picture in via the app.
At night, the picture is black and white but night vision is really good, I’m quite impressed.
First annoying thing is the sounds.. when I want to hear what’s going on outside, the noise is horrible, like someone hammering the iron or similar.. It maybe problem with the connection, not sure..
Even when i try to talk to the persin outside, the sound is cracking non stop so basically no-one knows what I just said.. same when someone tries to speak to me..
I’ll keep an eye on this problem and if work things out more, I’ll let you all know..
Second downside is the musical plug which is european-2 pin plug, not UK- 3pin plug. Still, I managed to connect it via adapter. This plug let’s me set up the volume level and type of melody, there is many to choose from.
All that said, I can give 4 stars for this doorbell camera, up to date. A star went off because of the sound issues and eu plug.
Oh, nearly forgot.. there is no manual instruction with the doorbell camera but there is QR code for the app and for the online instructions. I would prefer the paper version so I could recall to it whenever needed..
