Did some research as it was time to up my polishing game. This had good reviews all round and so took the plunge. So far am very pleased with the results, combined this with the Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Polish with a coat of Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax. My black 3 series BMW had been attacked on the bonnet by a cat and the passenger side was suffering from a lot of ‘bush rash’ and this combination removed most of the damage and left paint looking great all round. Well worth the investment and effort.

Brilliant purchase, this was my first move into DA polishing but it is a brilliant kit at an exceptional price.
Though ever so slightly on the heavier side, it works perfectly and has brought the vehicles i have worked on to life again!
First time using a polisher and have to say I’m very impressed with the product and the results.
Washed and dried the car and as it was my first go I just went for a polish, I used the yellow soft pad with Meguires deep Crystal Carnauba wax.
I found the number 2 setting a bit slow so used the number 3 setting and the car was waxed in about 20 minutes with minimum effort.
The results speak for themselves, amazing mirror like finish
Judders a bit on setting 1, move it to 2 and works a treat. Easy to handle.Would definitely recommend.
Heavy beast, hard work if you’re polishing a large vehicle should have brought a cordless one, works great, however on my 1000w inverter connected to a heavy duty battery
Very very happy with the machine. Pad was a little warn out after using around the full car but I can’t complain.
Speeds and power did the job good.
Compounded, polished and waxed took 5 hours in total.
Actually really am very pleased with this da polisher. It is my first one and was bought after our car door was badly scuffed by someone opening their car door on it. It is quite heavy but once you get used to using it, technique takes over.
Start off slow to get compound/polish on the bodywork and them use on speed number 2 until the substance goes clear. Simples.
I already had some Maguire’s compound which I used with the supplied yellow pads and then finished off with Maguire’s polish using the supplied black pad.
Before using the da I shampooed and clay mitted the panels I was working on.
The scuff has now completely gone and it was money well spent. Very happy!
Good polisher, copy of well know brand. Pads don’t last long but they are cheap enough.
The really best way to do this is most importantly Prepare your surface with a good wash, use tar and glue to remove tar spots & general road grime & then use a clay bar to remove most contamination from the paint work to give you a really clean base coat to work from.
Then take your time with a Compound Based Polish, Meguiars Menzerna etc.. Wet your surface with the Compound then dab it onto the cars paint work all over begin with speed setting 3-4 then work your way up to 5 once you feel confident in your technique & passes.
Make a few passes in different directions up down, left right, right to left, down to up then you will just to get it from all angles, then you will see your amazing hard work.
Remember to put a coating of wax or Polish over it (even by hand) once you are done to seal/protect your hard work & clean surface.
A good machine for the money, seems to do precisely what it’s supposed to do
So you get your package and you have a shiny new polisher! Inside is your two yellow pads which they reckon are ‘medium’ more like soft compared to my hex pads. A black ‘soft’ for polishing and red/brown ‘heavy’ for cutting.
I assume if you’re buying this or looking too you have either A. Had practice or B. Plan too.
So after washing and clay barring my car I gave it a spin.
I personally used some meguars compound to cut back ever so slight.
I smear this over my yellow pad and started away.
The Vonhaus polisher is robust, not to heavy but probably tiring if it’s a motion your arms are not used to.
The pads supplied are actually surprisingly good, they hold up well and blow out or clean easily.
After using the compound I used my favourite Auto Finesse Polish/Wax. I’ve tried this with both the yellow and black pad. Picture above is results after using yellow with it.
No hard wax was applied, this reflection is purely a very light compound then polished on top.
My Clio 200 R.S gleamed after what was a quick hour or two detail of just light use with this polisher. It makes it a total breeze but also has the utility to really cut into swirls if need be.
Carry case supplied is super handy too.
I’ll hopefully keep adding to the pictures for this review and add some before and afters.
Im hoping to get it on my friends E36 and my Leon.
All in all for the money, I think this polisher is incredibly great.

The result was far from satisfactory so I thought I’d look for a budget dual action polisher. I bought this one as the price was reasonable and the reviews were pretty positive.
I’ve never used one before and I have to say I was extremely impressed as it was a doddle to use and the results were excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

First review for me. I had to leave one for this polisher. Never used one before married a yellow pad with a 3in1 polish. Got great results as you can see in the pic. Also used a 3″ yellow pad for the tricky bits and it is a 5/16 thread
Easy to use, bought it from the main dealer as it’s cheaper than Amazon.
I needed a machine to get some serious blemishes out of the paintwork of my wife’s car (suntan cream chemical burns). This was a tough job and I had reservations that this cheaper machine was up to the task. However, I was delighted to be proved wrong. It is excellent, easy to assemble and buffed all the extensive marks out (used with Meguiar’s compound, polish then wax). My wife feels like she has a new car and the neighbours have all come for a look as they can’t believe it’s the same vehicle. I’d recommend this machine, reading other reviews lead me to make sure I didn’t overload the bag and am careful with the zip. So far so good.
Great polishing kit. Easy to use and at a great price. Never used anything like this detailing cars before and had a lot of fun and some great results. Very quick to run around the car. Looked around at some different models but happy i opted for this.
I only wanted to use this to correct my BMW that had over spray on the side but the polisher is light, has little vibration and was so reliable that I have now corrected the whole car, my Nissan Navara and my friends Mercedes. Use quantam hex-logic pads for best results (not the pads that come with it)
I liked the modest size and was suprised by how calm the thing was, in other reviews I’d seen people worrying about the speed but I found it very manageable. Easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. To be honest I haven’t really giver it a proper test yet but initial results were very promising.
Practice on something first!! I gave my old van a bit of a do just to get the feel of it and it was really helpful.

Pleased use the correct products and follow the instructions or you’ll likely damage the car paint.

I used this product as a complete beginner. It was easy to use although the pads that came with it weren’t great and I had to repolish again afterwards (with Chem guys hex pads).
The polisher itself is great quality however the other bits, including the bag could certainly be better.
Very good product. Had a slight damage issue through delivery but the supplier dealt with it superbly. Full marks to the product and the sellers.

after reading the instructions i proceeded to use the machine polisher with some autoglym paint renovator to removed as much as the scratches as i could, after that i went with some super resin polish, i really wish i had taken some photo’s as the results with little effort were stunning, the paintwork went from lifeless and dull to a mirror like shine, best to start off on speed setting 1 to apply the first layer of polish and then slowly increase the speed, i found going from top to bottom around 1inch per second and the left to right at the same speed covering 50% of the old layer gave the best most even results, one thing i would say is i’m not sure how long the pads would last but considering they are quite cheap for some decent one’s its not a big deal

Decent piece of equipment seems well put together, comes with a fair amount, only things I could fault is I had to buy the wrong pads just to find the correct size.
Paperwork has speed settings but could have been a lot easier putting them on the machine just so it’s easier to check what speed you need for the job, and the power button could have been put in a much easier spot as very awkward when powering on and off.
good piece of kt for the money, looks well made, sturdy, and good value. supplied foam pads seem ok, with a clear difference between stiffness.. only used the polisher once but with great results in a short time, with more practice and different pads/compounds etc this is probably all you wold ever need as an enthusiast.
it is probably not as smooth as a more expensive machine but i cant fault the value for money here.
Have used a couple of time to pollish resin table, very good.
The soft start is great. Easy to use for polishing cars. Not tried it as a sander but should be great.
Used it on our what was very dull red van and using only cheap polish it’s fetched colour back in to van, very easy to use, would recommend 100%
The pads that came with the pack weren’t much good.
On the first use both orange (sponge) pads came away from the backing and were useless then…
My advice would be: look for a DA machine that has a good RPM etc and variable options, but the pads separately.
The backing pads came away from the buffer pads the first time I used them. I’ve since bought replacement pads from another supplier and had no issues.
Bought this after checking out many different machines as a novice to detailing / car polishing

My first time buffing using this, but it worked well and was easy to use.
Easy to use. Did the job bought for. A little heavy but arms would have ached more manually polishing.
So it is large but not heavy , large surface area for polishing
We bought this to take some of the strain of polishing our Narrowboat and the variable speeds mean we won’t polish so hard that we remove the paint. Obviously it’s important to use a circuit breaker as we’re on water but the handle makes it secure.
I comes with a good selection of polishing heads and 2 cloths one microfibre and one rag mop cloth. The only criticism is the zip on the bag is rubbish. It broke the second time using it. (Others have made the same observation) I managed to repair it and I removed the 2 wire inserts from the mouth of the bag making it less prone to coming apart but the zip really needs to be sturdier. All in all its a minor gripe which does not affect the use of the polisher its self.
Works well so far, attachments are good, bag is useful and the polisher has different speeds which is great.
Have only used once for car detailing. My main concern is that there is next to no information regarding speed settings. The instructions state to use for car polishing at setting 1. From my reading of suitable speeds to get the best results from an orbital polisher, polishing speed would need to be higher than the minimum speed stated on the instructions. This is really knocking my confidence to use a higher speed as no way of knowing the machine is at a dangerous speed for the paintwork.
Slightly smaller than I expected which was good.. slow start a great feature.. The pads look half decent but I shall be swapping those.. all in all a great buy and a super fast delivery 5 From me

Good product, exactly what I expected. One of the medium pads didn’t last long when the pad separated from the Velcro but I didn’t expect them to be of particularly high quality. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and the product. Delivery was fast and the item was well packaged.
