This appears to be a neat, well made and well finished sturdy little box. But it is a little box. If you have lots of jewellery like bracelets to fit in, you may need something bigger and there’s not the necklace hangers other boxes have. But it suits my purposes. It has two layers. The multi compartment top layer lifts out easily for a single compartment in the bottom.
You COULD travel with it, but being a glossy finished wooden box, I fear it might get chipped or scratched. For travel you might be better with pleather or vegan leather boxes which will not be damaged by the odd bump.
But for a simple, classy and glossy jewellery box around the home this is lovely. It sits on my bedside table
Not great for travelling as there’s no lock on it but lovely box to store your precious gems at home plus choice of unusual colours is a bonus
