Easy to set up came with usb c adapter which was handy.
This docking station was very easy to set up and after downloading the DisplayLink software it was easy to extend (not mirror) my MacBook Air M2 2022 display to two external monitors in addition to the built-in display. Along with all the other ports and inputs this is a great product for the price. No issues so far and very happy with the purchase.
Impressed with this. I have a two-monitor setup with keyboard and mouse, this lets me use the setup for either my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad) and desktop PC (HP). To change between the two computers, all I have to do is swap the USB cable from one to the other. The Lenovo is happy running the built-in laptop screen as well, so I can have a three-screen view when using that.
(Anyone remember KVM switches? It’s effectively performing a similar function for me, because I don’t normally need to keep both machines running at the same time. I wouldn’t suggest using this method if you need to swap between computers every few seconds, as plugging USB in and out would be a hassle and both machines would need a little processing time to adjust each time you did it).
This worked right out of the box without setup or installing any drivers etc. on both my computers, but note that you may need to configure monitor setup on your computer(s) so that everything is correctly placed, I had already done this with my previous docking station. Been using for a few days, no problems so far.
I was using a fairly similar-looking Plugable docking station before, which worked fine but that went phut after a couple of years use. This WAVLINK one looks a little better to me, and doesn’t seem to warm up as much during use. Time will tell, I’ll update this review if it lets me down.
Have not used the audio ports so can’t comment on those. Seems to work fine as USB hub, so far I’ve used it for a camera + mic for zoom meetings, and to get data off my phone. Only slight downside I’ve found is that the “charging” USB socket does not push out enough watts to charge the Lenovo laptop. So I have to keep that plugged into its power adaptor separately. Not the end of the world for me, but I had been hoping its charger could be consigned to the laptop bag. Maybe other laptop makes aren’t so power hungry.
The dock arrived well packaged with no damage. Everything is simple plug and play, my external monitor, keyboard, mouse and external webcam all worked when plugged into the USB outlets. Included USB 3 to USB C adapter plugged straight into my Dell Laptop. Highly recommended if you need a dock for external peripherals.
So far seems to work, it as resolved the issue that i was experiencing with the other dock station, but the installation is not straight forward.
I asked for this for Christmas but I had to test it first and then it was so useful that I asked my wife to wrap the box so I could just use it. I bought this as I am working from home and it was a pain swapping screens and other hardware from my work to home laptops. This makes things so much easier and now everything moves with only 1 cable. Brillia

Easy to set up electronically. There is a faff getting the plastic cover off and mounting to the bracket – some may struggle….The other positives outweigh this annoyance
Great product – exactly what I needed.
Able to use laptop as PC, plugged into Wavlink and then use dual monitors for home setup.
Wireless mouse & keyboard linked through Bluetooth to my laptop already but I know the Wavlink is also able to accommodate wireless dongle receiver.

Provided the connectivity needed for dual screens to a laptop.
Bought for the pandemic on my employers credit card, plug and play, just worked with a Surface Pro 4.
Easy set up.easy to use.suits my needs

Does what I wanted it to do , I use it to power and control 2 external monitors and use the USB’s for mouse keyboard and other peripherals like backup storage drives etc. I switch between devices and they all work perfectly with it . Shame it wasn’t a bit cheaper . Circa 90 is a bit much imho I think 50 would be a fair cost but that said it does work and do the job so you only pay for what you get .
I have HP 14 laptop with just two USB ports and a C type USB port. These two USB ports are permanently occupied by daily use peripherals. I was looking for a USB hub but during browsing around on Amazon I found this WAVLINK 3.0 dock station.
It come with 2 fast USB 3 ports and 3 USB 2 ports , a HDMI port and a DVI, it also have a LAN RJ45 port.
So far I love the item and it solve my initial problem. I’m happy.
One extra feature I would recommend is if it’s possible integrate the power need of WAVLINK device into USB connection, the power cord provided is too short and if there is no power source nearby then this device is not good.

If you are looking for an afternoon of techie delight, plugging cables in and out and downloading software this is NOT for you.
Because all you have to do is plug it in to the mains, into your laptop, and plug in your peripherals and you are done. No messing around, 10 minutes from unboxing to using.
Now that’s what I call easy.

As a docking station this works with a Win 10 notebook after you plug in all the cables. I have not tried it with a Mac yet.
Two issues with this:
1. The provided USB connection cable is quite short, although you could replace it with a longer one of needed.
2. The stand. It is easy to put together, but I cannot find how to attach stand to docking station, and the instructions are of little use in explaining how to do this. I must be missing something here. In the end I used some velcro to attach the docking station to the stand.
I have an office that at night the temperature can drop. I find that to get the docking station to drive my 19″ monitors I need to give it time to warm up, as at lower temperatures the bottom 1/3 of the screen is corrupted. So I put the docking station on when I turn the heating on in the morning and come back when everything has warmed up a bit.
In tech speak I think it works over a consumer temperature range rather than a commercial temperature range.
Great product. Had to YouTube to get past installation glitch. Otherwise 10/10 in performance
I was a little concerned pre-purchase that with a 7yr old lap top running USB-2 connections that things wouldn’t work or it would run very s;lowly. How wrong I was its set up and running brilliantly. Im yet to put the whole set up under any real pressure but for general day to day use its fine. The device came with a CD, I had no need to use it as it ran straight out of the box. Im running Mouse, keyboards and two monitors as well as the laptop screen. I’m even charging my phone and tablet off of the unit. Great unit, great price.
Genuine plus and play. Working on multiple laptops. No issues so fa
Works really well in giving extra screens to use as well a slots of usb ports and sound outpu
Really good piece of kit, so simple to set up. I have it connected to two 24″ HP monitors with connections for my PC and laptop. No issues so far, really happy with it.
Could not work the stand out. Good piece of kit. Recommended.
This product has enable me to connect my Dell Inspiron 15R to two Dell 24 inch monitors with ease
I spent ages looking for dual video unit that would work with my works’ Surface Pro 6 and my ageing twin HP ProDisplay P221 DVI/VGA monitors. These monitors are not DisplayPort types and cannot be daisy-chained (I learned this with each attempt to solve my problem). I went through a couple of splitters (not knowing I needed a dual video output unit) and other units that were dual video but were for multiple PCs too. Eventually, I took a chance on this WavLink. I say took a chance because it says the drivers are on a CD. Seriously? Do PCs even come with CD/DVDs any more with streaming services two-a-penny? The SP6 doesn’t, obviously.
But, I need not have worried. I plugged the WavLink in, fiddled with the settings of the SP6 and within moments I had both monitors functioning as extensions to the SP’s high resolution screen. So, for a fraction of the cost of a 34″ widescreen monitor, I have my old HPs working perfectly.
I needed a docking station for my home study set up. This was is great value and was so easy to install.
Very happy with this product here is a short video demonstration. With my wife’s Surface Pro Laptop it was plug And go, well done excellent product.
This is worth it but I am figuring out how to connect the other and I should change the display settings. It automatically detected the dock and I was ready to go
This item is fab as a single dock for all your connections, taking one USB port to run 6 usb items, your speakers, an ethernet connection and most importantly, two supplementary screens. Gone are the days when you want to run an extra screen as well as your laptop. These days we want two extra screens and this gadget allows you to have two extra screens each showing different output. Easy plug and play, it worked really well and it was the cheapest I could find. Really pleased with the purchase and the seller was both cooperative and efficient and the item literally arrived on Sunday after a Saturday evening order.
Its working perfectly since I got it – the only issues I nonticed was that the wireless mouse and keyboard don’t work effectively when attached to the docking station however work fine when I attached them directly to the laptop. This is a minor inconveience but an inconvenience all the same. I also use a DELL docking station in another remote office which work fine also (and can take the wire;less keyboard and mouse) however the DELL one is twice the price and also impossible to order and receive on time (last attempt I cancelled after 3 delays by DELL! – never again). Overall the WAVLINK works well and I would recommend it.
No issues.
Worked straight out of the box with multiple monitor setups.
No drivers needed with Windows 10, not that we needed anyway.
Good value at almost half the price of the competitor.
I bought 2, and would recommend again.
Works well but quite a few laptops have issues with the specific drivers/requirements of this. Take care on laptops more than a few years old.
Note: make sure your machine has USB3.0 or this is pretty useless 🙂
Came quickly. Works well. Downloaded Linux drivers from DisplayLink and it woeks fine on Ubuntu/Mint.
This Docking station is great for using with a laptop – plug everything in the back once – keyboard, printer, mouse, speakers, network cable, monitor – and one USB goes into the laptop – EASY
Would have given 5 stars but had a problem with assembling the included stand . . . so it now just sits flat on the desk.

I purchased this for my laptop so I could use it to stream videos from my laptop onto my tv easily.
It’s easy to use super quick to setup its very stylish and slimline and fits under my tv without being noticeable
I had no difficulty setting it up and it has been working perfectly (All plug and play on my Windows 10 laptop. I am able to leave this at home with peripherals and ethernet cable attached. Dual monitor and all peripherals come alive once and connect to my laptop. Easily hooked up my laptop, extra monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse, external hard drive, speaker, and printer. This docking station really helped simplify my desk by having all the cables connected to one device. Definitely worth the money to easily turn my laptop into a full-sized desktop in seconds!

Quite light and flimsy plastic, but it all works as it should and is excellent value for money, especially when looking at the ridiculous price of some branded docks which do way less!
Simply set up and tuck away. Simples.

Does what it should and has lasted well with no issues. (Review after 1 year)
Bought to expand the connectivity of my laptop.
As per product description, this docking station is able to add the following outputs:
– 2 monitors outputs ( one via HDMI and another via VGA/DVI) and 2 USB 3 port , 4 USB 2 ports, 1 ethernet
Accessories:
It comes with a leafleft, with the essential instructions, a CD driver, a charger ( for UK socket), a DVI-VGA adapter and a USB cable.
Installation:
With Windows 10 (I have Windows 10 v. 18.03) the docking station is recognised immediately as soon as plugged in, so there is no need to install the drivers.
Usage and Impression:
Tried different monitor/tv configurations
And in all the conditions this docking station was able to deliver optimum performance ( I was able to play both YouTube and movies through the connected screen)
I haven’t been able to test the gigabit Ethernet since my router is very far from my laptop and I don’t have a ethernet cable)
Worth mentioning that
this docking station works also with USB 2.0 ports, even though in this case you will see decent performance only during web browsing but some dealy in the video reproduction ( probably due to both my CPU speed and USB2 bandwidth)
I personally think this bit of kit is excellent. I was sceptical if it would work, just plugged it in and and it worked straight away.
Very easy to use! Just connected it all up and it worked! Woohey. I now have three screens working. (Think the Star Trek bridge) : 2 via HDMI and one via VGA. Very cool in fact my home setup is better than my work set up! 🙂 the only problem I have encountered is the sound is coming out one of the tv’s instead on my headphones. Think that’s a user error though.

For ages I have been using a plethora of adapters, dongles and everything else to make my laptop set up workable. I used to have a USB to HDMI dongle, USB to Ethernet etc etc. It was such a nightmare. I decided to finally take the plunge and buy one of these and it is honestly such a game changer. I can now get 2 more monitors from my laptop and it makes my cable management life so much easier its crazy.

Perfect for my needs. Does exactly as it says & easy to install/set-up/use! Highly recommend & comparable price to others. Go for it – you won’t regret it!
Well this is something i was a bit unsure about as i have never owned/used one before but i have to say, i am extremely impressed! I thought i was going to struggle installing the device judging by a couple of the reviews that i read but it was not the case, i turned on the computer, connected the display link via usb, windows installed it for me and that was it…working!lol
As you can see from the pictures (which aren’t the best, sorry) i have connected a external HDD, a second monitor and connected to the internet via the LAN port on the device itself. Everything just worked!
Main reason for purchase is it is being gifted to my bro who has a Microsoft surface book, they have next to no ports on it which he has found very frustrating! With this though, his problems will be solved when going away on work and having to connect to other peoples kit.
Pros.. Everything just works, super simple, tidy box to store it when not in use and looks pretty slick.
Cons.. Box it comes in is a bit bulky to use for travelling & the instruction slip included isn’t the best but to be fair i could understand it but didn’t even need to use it.
I haven’t tried this with a MAC so no idea how the install process would be, but i can confirm it is a breeze on Win 10….Plug & Play.
I was hoping to use both the HDMI and the VGA output at the same time but the VGA output uses the HDMI output with a HDMI to VGA converter (supplied). I therefore had to use the HDMI on the laptop for my second monitor making the wiring more messy. Apart from that it worked seamlessly. Very easy to get running.
As an IT professional, I love the fact that I can connect my laptop to this (via USB 3) and simultaneously view three screens (laptop, 1x monitor via HDMI and 1x monitor via DVI).
The hard wired network connection is flawless as well.
I don’t have much use for the sound output but the numerous USB ports in the back of this dock are priceless.

Fantastic, have two external monitors connected to my laptop, external usb hard disks, memory cards and a hard wired network connection all active at the same time, all without any problems or noticeable impact on performance. This is the peripheral that every laptop deserves.
Great product. Works well. It was just an assumption of mine (excuse my ignorance) but I was a little disappointed that given the dock has its own power supply that the USB Connection between the dock and my Laptop does not act as a power supply to the Laptop. Maybe asking too much but would have been nice to have had no need to also plus the Laptop power lead and just had the on connection from the dock. (Dream on) otherwise a great product – I know plug two cables in and out each time the laptop lands on my desk or moves with to a meeting, instead of five!
Happy bunny.
Very nice product and very affordable. Works very well with USB-A. Easy setup, simply connect. Very nice stand make for easy cable connections. Really abundant number of different types of ports.
Really like this product – works perfectly as described (note the exception mac os sierra 10.13.5 as stated doesn’t work – hopefully wavlink will have a software update soon)
Some users like myself may experience an issue with older laptops like my Dell Inspiron L501X – if the usb cable is plugged into your laptop and connected to the wavlink unit, when you boot up your laptop, it will take ages and I mean 5-10 minutes to boot up as there’s some sort of o/s issue recognising the wavlink as a boot device and not a peripheral, as soon as you unplug the usb cable, laptop boots up immediately.
If this is happening to you too, then boot up your laptop before connecting it to the wavlink to avoid this issue.
Decided to get a laptop dock for home as have been using one at work. The parcel arrived on time from the seller and setting up was simplicity itself, connected it to my laptop, turned on the power and installation was plug and play. I’ve now got the monitor, printer, mouse, etc plugged into the docking station and when I want to use the laptop elsewhere, simply need to remove the supplied USB3 lead and I’m good to go. Also like the fast charging USB sockets, great for charging the phone.
Definitely glad I made the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to simplify the tangle of cables on their desks.
Worked straight out of the boxbut my WiFi mouse and keyboard were not happy. I really only wanted this for the ability to use two external monitors so I’m not too worried about that.

Been using this for a few days now and it has really expanded the functionality of my PC. Really pleased with it. I now have 2 extra screens which is great. It saves money on buying all the adapters separately and looks more tidy.
Perfect just what i needed, super easy to set up
Purchased to make better use of my tablet while in the study, this station allows me to add a keyboard, mouse, speakers, wired LAN, HDMI monitor and portable hard drive to my Win10 tablet.
Its all powered by a single lead and connects to my OTG port on the tablet.
Perfect for me as I can now type for longer in a more natural way and access all my stored files.
It takes up very little space on my drive and comes with the required USB3 lead to get you connected – you will most likely have to supply your own OTG lead for a couple of quid.
To turn a tablet into a more accessible PC type set up is very useful and this docking station handles it well.

Wireless mouse and monitor connections seem to be a bit iffy. Still, has somewhat tamed the cable jungle
This thing is brilliant. First off, I’m a mac user. I picked this up as a straight forward method to work with dual monitors with my macbook air. Because of how the mac airs are designed what should be a simple task proves to be anything but – however this gadget got me set up in a matter of minutes and I’m loving my new set up.
The additional usb ports are already being utilised and I see this being a mainstay of my desk set up for quite a while.
Just plugged it in and it just worked, nice and compact too.
First purchase of this type of device so i was a little wary but i needn’t have worried as it does everything that i require very well indeed. My previous experience of HDMI connectivity for data monitors hasn’t been brilliant but this unit perform very well, the image is very clear and more importantly responsive showing no lag or delay/jitter as i’ve seen with other adapters.
Very easy to set up and there should be more than enough ports for anyone though another mini DVI port would have been nice for my 3rd screen. Also a USB port on the front of the unit would also be nice but it isn’t the end of the world.
Great piece of kit that is cheaper than some of its bigger named rivals but if money was no object i would still chose this one.

Worked out of the box. My Surface PC found it and configured straight away.
Plugged in, connected stuff, switched on, woosh! I’m up and running.
Literally didn’t have to do anything else. I have a DVD drive plugged in, iPhone, HDMI monitor, optical mouse, USB HDD. Didn’t have to worry about any driver installations or anything. Windows 10 just took care of it all for me
Good price. Easy to use, worked without having to download loads of drivers. Slim so tucks away.
Excellent piece of kit. From Windows 10 I use this to drive two 1080p monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse, printer and external hard drive all through a single USB 3 cable. It’s just as capable as the more expensive brand that I use at work. It uses DisplayLink drivers so it should work with ubuntu, however I’ve never tried this directly, but I do use a Linux Mint VM through VirtualBox with no problems. Unfortunately I have to mark it down one star because the stand is awkward to fit.
Perfect Docking Station! Got this because of the good reviews and didn’t want to pay silly money for it. Bought this and did exactly what it said. Plug in and hooked up the laptop and the monitor and worked perfectly. No lag or anything!

Perfect docking station. Comes with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Was very easy to install and get going.
Simple to setup, no configuration required if running Windows 10, can’t speak for previous operating systems.
I have 2 monitors connected, external hard drives and other peripherals, not yet had a drop in connection, would definitely purchase again if the need arises.
Great product. Replaced a DELL D3000 which only connected to the monitor after it had been warmed up (physically). Worked first time using existing DisplayLink drivers on my PC. Very good price.
Possibly one of my favourite purchases of all time! Makes setting back up at home so simple after I’ve been out and about with my laptop and no longer do I have a mass of cables all over my desk! I can now also use my laptop on my two 24″ screens which is great, not had any issues so far even when combining it with a kvm so I can run my desktop off the same monitors. Usb devices all connect (and charge) fine and also running my speakers through it without issue. Definitely deserves a 5/5 review, very happy with the purchase!

After two attempts with similar (and more-expensive) hubs that failed to provide consistent and stable connections between my laptop and multiple devices, this one is living up to my expectations – extremely easy to set up and all ports and links working perfectly. Delivered the day after I ordered it, I also received a VAT invoice the morning following my late-afternoon request. Can’t ask for better.
Had this out of the box, set up and working in less than 5 minutes. I have three standard USB devices (mouse, Keyboard and Jabra speaker), one USB 3 device (external HDD) and a 1920×1080 monitor. I can now easily ‘hot desk’ my work laptop when I work from home or switch to my personal laptop when I do design activities. Absolutely marvellous device! I was particularly impressed that all required drivers installed in seconds (Windows 8.1 & 10 laptops)
This is a really useful product as other reviewers say. As well as quickly plugging in lots of peripherals, it adds Gigabit Ethernet which my new Dell Inspiron 15 does not support. However I’d say four stars as there was an issue for me with drivers for Windows 10. The instructions suggest relying on Windows automatic updates (didn’t work for me) or downloading from DisplayLink.com (the chipset manufacturer), however that site suggest going first to the OEM site, i.e. wavlink.com. Anyway after installing the latest drivers from DisplayLink.com, their utility didn’t appear (and wasn’t listed in Programs and Features) and the USB Gigabit Ethernet or USB audio devices were not recognized. After some research, I ran the DisplayLink installation cleaner utility, the latest drivers did then install correctly and since then everything has worked very well. Hope this last bit helps someone…
NB:It came with a generic “UGA” driver CD however that version does not support newer Windows 10 updates.
Delivered today and all set up 30 minutes later. Have ethernet, HDMI monitor, USB mouse all working fine through it.
Would have given it 5 stars except … I dont know why they even bother distributing these things with a CD with drivers because few laptops have CD drives anymore! I certainly didn’t. Why not include a USB stick with it? But a quick search of the wavlink website found it (model name is UG39DK4). Note: You”ll have to reboot before ethernet will work.
works perfectly enabling me to replace my desk top with a laptop but keeping the functionality of a work-station.
Very happy with it. Works well. Only reason that it is not 5 stars is because previous docking stations (HP dock for HP laptop and Toshiba dock for Toshiba laptop) provided power to the laptop too which was neater. To be fair, I knew that it didn’t do this when I bought it, so no complaints. I have a wireless keyboard, screen and other peripherals all working fine via the Wavlink.
Great to be able to plug everything in and know it is all set up for when I need a scanner and various printers for my laptop when I get home. Recommended
