My youngest likely has ADHD or some sort of other sensory processing issue according to a child psychologist, his pediatrician and an OT. We will seek diagnosis when he is a little older. He cannot sit still, he is impulsive and will bite and scratch others at school. While he relates to others and makes eye contact, he is so hyperactive and impulsive that it negatively impacts his quality of life. It’s easy to day “well, he’s 2!” but when you are a mom and especially if you’ve had other kiddos, when you know something is wrong you just know. When my son wears his vest, there is an immediate difference in his ability to slow down and focus. He can play with toys and enjoy them. It’s a remarkable, almost shocking change. He can sit still and enjoy singing songs and eating a meal without throwing things and melting down. We have a vest for home and preschool and couldn’t do without them. These will only work when he’s going, the OT tells us, and we will likely be looking at meds when he’s older. And that’s just fine with me. This vest is washable, durable, and life changing. If you are reading this review and on the fence, buy it!

It works!
Believe or not I was so skeptical about a vest maintaining my 5 year old calmness. My son has ADHD/anxiety/sensory issues. But it did. Immediate change in his attitude and focus. His speech therapist and teacher noticed a difference right away. Tasks that he struggled with all year he was able to do with the help of this vest.
Today his teacher ask can he take it off because he was asking. I said sure so his nervous system could reset. Immediately after removal he acted out and yelled at a classmate. After placing it on him again all was good. This was proof that it does work for him. Best investment I made ever!
My super-energized grandson wears the vest with the weights for about 30-40 minutes daily. He is calmer both at kindergarten and at home. My daughter is pleased with the vest, which has been in use for several months now.

I had a problem with my son taking his clothes off and going full speed ahead at bedtime... he looks forward to wearing this as its comforting to him and he doesn't try to take it off or his other clothes when he is wearing it... also helps him get tired enough to sleep if we put it on an hour before bedtime or so... worth the money and really helps surprisingly well

He did not enjoy the weights provided in the front pockets by his belly, but did not mind them in the back pockets.
It’s like a little tactical vest for wading the sensory waters. It’s a joke in our home, putting it on is like ‘gearing up to combat sensory disturbances!’
But in all seriousness, it’s comfortable enough for him to want to keep it on for small doses of time (getting used to it), adjustable in compression, and I can add weight since he likes added input (mainly one of the reasons I got this one). All in all, 5/5. Need to tackle washing but that’s another story.

The vest works well however the weight bags create bulges which isn’t comfortable. The compression and weighted functionality cannot be done simultaneously because comfort is of utmost importance.

This is easy to wear, everything is velcro and weights are adjustable. Just wish the material is a little soft on the edges to prevent irritation for kids.

Great calming tool
I bought this for my grandson who is on the autistic spectrum & suffers from related anxiety with fight/flight tendencies. We use this in school when he’s transitioning from 1 activity to another & it really helps. He also really loves it which was a relief.
This vest was very easy to adjust and fit snug. Easy to place the weights. My grandson loves it. I am very pleased with this product.

Es increble! Ayudo mucho a mi hijo con TDAH lo mantiene en calma y concentrado en clases cosa que antes era muy difcil de lograr. El material es excelente y no es caluroso (vivimos en lugar clido). El de que es muy cmodo y le gusta.
